The third day of one of the most drama filled weeks would be quite an eventful one. The day started out just like any other one would regularly. Blaine took avid notes in class and made sure to ask a lot of questions. Sam pretended that he was paying attention, hoping that he would be able to get the notes from a friend later that day. Brittany still wasn't talking to Sam; and Blaine wasn't talking to Tina still. The only reason why Blaine didn't want to tell Tina was simply because he knew she had a crush on him, and Tina has been known to be the jealous type. Blaine feared that if he told her about their fling, and entire string of dramatic events would unfold, creating a huge divide in their friendship, which was the very last thing that he wanted.
Tina wasn't the only person that was on Blaine's mind. After school that day, Blaine would be going on a date with his long time crush. Blaine still couldn't believe it, even at that moment. Everything just seemed to be working out for him and it felt like nothing could get in his way. Brittany broke up with Sam yesterday, promising she would not start any drama, which would give him the opportunity to make his move on the man he though was straight for so long.
After school, Blaine immediately left the school and drove home where he got changed into his nicest outfit, which was extremely formal since he wore nice clothes all the time. As Blaine was doing this, Sam was neatly coming his hair and trying to look his best for the date that would happen in less then an hour. After he finished coming his hair, he jumped into his car and headed to breadsticks.
Blaine was the first one to arrive at the restaurant and asked for a table of two. The table was placed in a spot in the back part of the restaurant, which had a nice private atmosphere to it. As Blaine sat there at the table by himself, he began to think about how much his life has changed in the past few weeks. Before two weeks ago, Blaine wasn't even open about his crush with Sam, now they had sex, and they were on a date in one of Blaine's favorite restaurants. Blaine began to wonder whether Sam was going to be serious about this date, or if he was just going to take advantage of it as usual and use Blaine.
Blaine had been sitting pondering these thoughts for five minutes before a strange event happened. A man, about the same age as Blaine, sat in the spot where Sam should have been. He sat there and stared at Blaine for a moment, making him feel uncomfortable.
"May I help you?" Blaine asked, very confused.
"I just saw that you were sitting by yourself and figured that I would introduce myself. My name's Ryan," The man explained as he held out his hand. After a few moments, Blaine shook it.
Blaine then took the time to examine this man who had just made himself known. Ryan was tall. He had a nice build and was wearing a tight shirt to show it of. His hair was all spiked up and he had the goofiest yet cutest smile. Blaine was sort of turned on by Ryan appearance and for a second; Blaine had a thought that crossed mind, pondering that maybe he could possibly ask this guy out. But Blaine quickly pulled himself back to reality and remembered the reason why he was at the restaurant in the first place.
"I'm sorry, you seem really cute, but I'm here on a date with someone actually," Blaine said, apologetic.
"Oh, that's awkward. I apologize," Ryan said as he got up and began to leave. He stopped and turned back, "Hey, if for some reason, if the date doesn't work out, give me a call."
Ryan wrote down his number on a nearby napkin and handed it to Blaine. Blaine accepted the napkin and put it into his pocket. Ryan left the restaurant, not even a few moments later, Sam entered and went immediately to Blaine's table. The two greeted each other with a nice friendly hug and began to talk and discuss over dinner. The two boys began to get to know each other and they told things they never told anyone else. Blaine really did feel happy around Sam, he loved being around him and wanted to make every second of this date count. Sam surprisingly was also really enjoying the date. A part of him really did want to date Blaine, but he didn't know how to ask. As the dinner concluded and the two boys left their specific amount of money, Sam spoke up.
"Hey Blaine, Can I ask you something?" Sam asked.
"Sure," Blaine replied.
"How would you feel about maybe trying it out?" Sam suggested.
"Try out what?"
"Maybe possibly dating?"
Blaine was dumbfounded, but immediately accepted the offer by pressing his lips against Sam's. The two boys kissed for a long moment before saying their goodbyes. Blaine staggered out of the restaurant, and was trapped in a haze as he drove home on that warm spring night.
