Chapter Fourteen - Complimentary Bonding.

"...and in Jesus' name, we thank you for this food. Amen."

As each person sitting around the table quietly echoed Shawn's words, they dropped each other's hands and picked up their cutlery, eagerly digging into their meals. After all, they had been forced to wait an extra hour or so to eat as two particular members of the family had been gallivanting around the town of San Antonio. However, unbeknownst to their fathers, the afternoon spent between the two young wrestlers had been one that was much more than just a friendly occasion.

A sly smirk crossing Cameron's face, the young southerner subtly reached his hand under the table and placed it on Aurora's knee, giving it a flirtatious squeeze. Instantly swatting it away as her cheeks flushed red, Aurora grabbed her cell phone off the edge of the dining table and quickly skimmed her fingers over the keys in a text to the older boy.

Inappropriate! We just said grace!

"Aurora?"

Flicking her head up from the small screen, Aurora blinked in surprise at the booming voice of her dad from opposite her.

"Can we not text at the dinner table, please?"

Locking the phone and placing it back down, Aurora nodded her head, "Sorry."

Giggling from the other end of the table, Aurora shot a sarcastic expression of anger to Cameron's younger sister Cheyenne. The youngest Hickenbottom pulled her long, red hair back into a tight ponytail as she continued to cut into her steak with a teasing smile.

"You two have been on the road for a while now, it's only natural that you would forget things like table etiquette exist."

As Cameron childishly mocked his sister under his breath, Hunter turned his attention back to Aurora, "Speaking of being on the road, where exactly did you two get to this evening?"

Coming to an abrupt halt, Cameron and Aurora slowly turned to each other, blank faced, as they each tried to think of something to say. It surely couldn't be that hard to come up with a plausible story that explained what they had been doing all day long, but the last thing they wanted to do was give away even the slightest hint about their new and growing relationship.

"I was just re-introducing Rory to the town, really," Cameron soon spoke, "We went down to the River Walk and stuff like that, nothing too interesting."

"Well that sounds nice," Rebecca spoke from where she sat near the head of the table with Shawn.

Aurora nodded once more, "It was awesome," she replied, "Just as I remembered."

"We're gonna' have to invite your mum and sisters back down here sometime," Rebecca went on, "It'd be great to see everyone again and spend a week together like old times."

Looking over to her dad, Aurora caught his vision as she flashed him a soft, supportive smile. She knew how desperately he missed Stephanie and the girls and that even a mere mention of them was enough to detract from his usual overly-enthusiastic personality. It was also another reason why she thought it best to not tell him about her and Cameron right now. At this particular point in time, Aurora was really the only person that Hunter had who was so close to him. She didn't want to make him feel like that he had to share her. As far as he would know – for now – Aurora was his little girl and no-one else's.

Never the less, Hunter soon returned the affectionate smile to his daughter, "I bet the girls would love that, Bec. We'll have to ask them about it when we get back home, hey princess?"

"Sounds good to me," Aurora sang back sweetly.

Grinning across the table at her, Shawn finally opened his mouth to speak, "Speaking of things that sound good," he began, shooting his expression over to Cameron, too, "How's about those shiny new title belts you two are going to be holding onto in a couple of weeks?"

The beaming smirk across Aurora's face was instant as she flicked her head around to glance at Cameron, her heart lightly pitter-pattering in her chest as her boyfriend winked back at her proudly, "We're so beyond excited," she chirped.

"Mhmm," Shawn agreed, "And ready for the responsibility?"

The second that Cameron detected the tone of uncertainty in his father's voice, he furrowed his brow into a deep frown.

"Well, someone's changed their tune," Hunter chimed back in, "This morning you were the one telling me not to worry so much."

"My tune changes with whomever I'm speaking to," Shawn replied, trying to show some intelligence through his goofy tone, "You're my buddy and needed reassurance. Cam's my son, but I'm not worried."

"Oh yeah?" Cameron snapped in, "Then what is it?"

Turning to face his son, Shawn's face softened, "I just want to make sure that you two understand what you're getting yourselves into so quickly. I do believe that you're both ready for it, but do you? One hundred percent?"

A distinct hush fell over the room as each person at the table mulled carefully over Shawn's words. As the awkwardness began to settle in, Rebecca and Cheyenne spied a nervous look at one another while Hunter pushed his food around on the end of his fork, waiting for one of the young stars to speak.

Quickly glancing at Cameron out of the corner of her eye, Aurora cleared her throat before he had the chance to snap in over the top of her, "Well, I mean, if you're gonna' talk about the responsibility side of things, I guess the only real worry we have is being, like, accused of having it handed to us on a silver platter.."

Twirling the chain of her necklace between her fingers, Aurora suddenly felt her heart skip a beat as Cameron gave her knee one more supportive squeeze. She had gone over all these thoughts in her own mind a million times already, but if she had to go that little extra mile to convince Hunter and Shawn that they understood exactly what they were in for, then she was more than willing to do that. The only thing that possibly could have made it all a little bit easier was if Cameron was able to publicly show her the affection she desired.

"But other than that, we both know without doubt that we are going to do an amazing job," the young Diva went on, her heart swelling as she spotted the proud grin that her dad was aiming in her direction, "So, you're not worried, are you Uncle Shawn?"

Sipping on his root beer, seemingly in deep thought, Shawn slowly placed the glass back down, smacking his lips together before turning them upward in a cheeky grin, "Of course I'm not worried!" he exclaimed, "There's no harm in me testing you two to make sure you can handle yourselves responsibly. Besides," he went on, locking eyes with his son, "we've never been more proud, have we sweetheart?"

While mere moments ago he had been wanting to roll his eyes at Shawn's mischievous attitude, Cameron couldn't help but freeze for a second, blinking and staring back and forth between his dad and mum with his breath hitched in his throat. It felt completely unbelievable to not only be sitting around the dinner table at home with his family, but to be able to hear how amazingly proud they were of him, too.

"We sure are baby," Rebecca added, smiling at her son.

Cameron instantly returned the gesture, "Thanks Mum. Dad," he paused for another short moment, looking back to Aurora, "We're not going to let anybody down."

Aurora could feel the butterflies floating about in her stomach at the twinkling glint in Cameron's eye. Biting slightly on her bottom lip, she eagerly nodded her head, "It's going to be perfect."

Letting out his hitched breath with an elated sigh, Cameron tried to absolute hardest to not reach out across the table and take Aurora by the hand. The temptations consuming him were quickly becoming harder and harder to resist – and yet the two of them had only been dating for a day. There was simply that instant connection that had built up after all those years of their close friendship that allowed their relationship to feel just so completely natural. But as he continued to fiddle with his hands in his lap to preoccupy them, there was something else that Aurora had said that now had Cameron's mind racing again.

Perfect. That word – 'perfect'. He had heard his girlfriend tell him many times since their journey together had commenced that everything would be absolutely 'perfect'. However, with each pressuring factor that working in the WWE had to offer, Cameron was getting more and more worried each time that Aurora said it, the less perfect things would turn out to be. The last thing he wanted was for Aurora to be adding extra pressure on herself, only to have everything come crashing down. But at the same time, he was also sort of worried for himself. He didn't want to turn out being disappointed, either.

"Well, I don't think you have to worry about people thinking you haven't earned it," Cheyenne suddenly cut back in, snapping Cameron out of his funk, "Cam's certainly done his time and deserves a little bit of gold, but Aurora, you've burst on the scene and made a heck of an impression, too. I think you're both beyond good enough for it."

Feeling the embarrassment flash across her cheeks in a shade of pink, Aurora tried to avoid her father's proud grin across from her as she dismissively waved her hands in front of her face, "Okay, okay, that's enough title talk for one night! I wanna' hear all about how college is going, Cheyenne?" she said with a laugh, all the while noticing the smile Cameron was beaming at her, "You're the real star after all?"

The late evening autumn breeze was harsh across Aurora's face as she pulled her hoodie further over her head and continued to gaze out across the balcony. Shawn's and his family's backyard seemed to go on forever – constant stretches of grass, fielding and fencing all wrapping the ranch up into a neat, little package. If she squinted her eyes, she could see the huge tree right at the bottom of the short hill that she, Cameron and the other kids used to play on when they were younger. The memory was one that could instantly bring a smile to her face. Although, there were plenty of other people and things achieving this within her as of late, as well.

"Reminiscing out here by yourself?"

Blinking at the sound of his voice, Aurora looked back over her shoulder to find Cameron shutting the sliding door behind him as he slowly walked over to her. She grinned softly at him, while at the same time trying to see if anyone else was standing by the door.

"What's everybody else doing?" she asked.

Cameron smiled at her, "Mum, Dad and Uncle Paul are all in the living room having a coffee and Cheyenne is in her room studying," he answered, stroking her arm gently as he did, "So we can relax."

Giggling shyly to herself, Aurora took a couple of brief seconds to nuzzle up against Cameron as he draped his arm around her shoulders. The warmth she felt from him was so intense that it made her heart melt. The moment, however, was all too short lived as Cameron quickly ducked away from his girlfriend's grasp before any member of their family decided to appear on the balcony and spring them on their secret.

Leaning up against the rail of the back porch, Cameron looked down at Aurora who stood beside him. Exchanging the glance, the young Diva licked her lips, "It'll be better when we're back on the road tomorrow and we can get some more privacy," she sang, flirtatiously bumping into him with her hip as she did.

"You didn't enjoy dinner?" Cameron asked with a slight frown.

"Oh, no, of course I did," Aurora snapped back, "It'll just be nice to be just you and me again, you know?"

"Yeah, yeah, I know what you mean," Cameron spoke, flashing his pearly whites once more as a soft rain began to sprinkle on the tin roof of the balcony. The droplets echoed throughout the large, covered space and added an extra chill in the air. A shiver ran up Aurora's spine as she tightened her arms across her chest, hugging her jumper to herself that bit closer. Cameron raised an eyebrow, watching her, "Are you that cold?"

The younger athlete nodded her head, pushing her long strands of hair out of her face, "I'm totally not ready for fall to set in properly."

Shooting her a teasing smirk, Cameron slowly lowered his head down to Aurora's level, "Well won't it be nice tomorrow when you can get snuggles whenever you want them?" he babied her, still grinning away as he did so.

Twirling her purple necklace between her fingers, Aurora shook her head at the joking and playful tone in Cameron's voice. Locking eye contact with him, she froze for the slimmest moment, realising how close in proximity his face was to hers and allowing the words he had just spoken to cycle throughout her mind.

Falling to silence, Aurora gulped in nervous expectation as she could feel her boyfriend's breath dance across her lips, "What about kisses?" she resonated softly.

Immediately imitating her silence, Cameron allowed the cheeky expression to fall from his face as he felt his heart stop for a moment before it lightly began to race again. The deep brown of Aurora's eyes was all too inviting for him as they twinkled in his direction, hidden behind her long hair and hooded jumper.

Stepping away from the balcony railing as the rain began to tumble down heavier on the tin roof, Cameron then raised his hands gently up to Aurora's face. He stroked her cheek before grabbing either side of her hood and tenderly removing it from her head. His eyes followed the whole line of her face, to her jaw line and reaching all the way down her slender neck before shooting back up to lock his vision with hers. Heaving an elated sigh, the corner of his lips then upturned into another small smile.

"You're really beautiful, you know that?"

The slightest gasp of pleasant surprise escaped Aurora's mouth. She quickly and shyly glanced down at her feet, and then sprung her head back upright. The mere picture of Cameron gazing down at her with such affection was more than enough for her to then pleasingly lean in, feeling his smile meet hers as they shared yet another blissful, sweet tasting kiss.

The young Superstar clutched lovingly at his girlfriend's waist as for a couple of delightful moments he deepened their kiss, before reluctantly backing away. It was awfully difficult for him to do so, but he knew just as much as Aurora that they didn't want to risk Hunter, Shawn or anyone else catching them in the intimate moment. Instead, he simply gave her one more soft kiss on the top of her head and wrapped his arm around her torso in a friendly, unsuspicious hug.

The tender and loving way in which Cameron always spoke to her and treated her made Aurora feel like she was in absolute heaven. He brought out both a confidence and a happiness in her that she had never felt or experienced so much in her entire life. And despite the fact that through all their years of friendship they had never, ever been involved with each other in the romantic way that they were now, Aurora knew that she never wanted this new status of their relationship to change.

"You make me feel beautiful."

The words from his girlfriend echoed sweetly in Cameron's ears as they made a shiver run up his spine. It was unbelievable to him how this girl made feel. Aurora was someone who he had known quite literally since the day she was born, and yet it was bizarre for him to think that up until a few short months ago, the romantic connection he felt with her now was yet to even surface. And now he felt like all that he wanted to do was hold her and shower her with compliments as if to make up for lost time. Smiling uncontrollably, Cameron licked his lips and leant down to kiss Aurora once more – the only thing stopping him being the abrupt sound of the back door sliding open.

"Ready, princess?"

Trying not to jump in obvious surprise, Aurora blinked, glancing up at her father. Hurriedly taking a step away from Cameron, she gasped ever so subtly, all too aware of how close the two of them had just been to getting caught.

"We're leaving already?" she asked simply.

A completely oblivious Hunter simply nodded his head, "We gotta' get back on the road tomorrow," he spoke, trying to shout above the sound of the rain on the tin roof of the balcony.

Normally, there was nothing that Aurora looked more forward to than crawling into her bed for the night and falling into a deep sleep, but tonight the time spent at Shawn and his family's ranch had seemed to fly by in the blink of an eye. And now not only was she saying goodbye to her godfather and his family for the night, but she was going to have to say the same to Cameron, too.

As he tried to maintain his blank expression, Cameron shifted his vision slightly down to Aurora. He had agreed with his parents that he would spend at least one night at home with them well before he had arrived in San Antonio with the WWE, and it sure as hell was going to feel beyond amazing to sleep in his own bed, but now there was a new factor that tied into his preferred sleeping arrangements.

"So come in and say goodbye to everyone and we'll head out," Hunter spoke again, snapping both young stars from their respective thoughts.

"Yeah, okay, Dad," Aurora said simply, "I'll be right in."

The second that she dismissed him and he disappeared behind the door, Aurora sighed softly to herself. She tried to avoid direct eye contact with Cameron, her mind still whirling from the fact that their secret had almost been sprung, and instead began to walk back towards the house, assuming that her tag partner would follow her.

"Can't you stay?"

Freezing on the spot, Aurora's eyes widened as she spun back around to face Cameron. He was smirking at her cheekily with the slimmest glint of hope in his eyes. The question that had asked was definitely sweet, but Aurora couldn't help but giggle slightly. After all, it was only one night that the two of them would be separated. It certainly wasn't the end of the world, and the young Diva could tell by the way he was smiling at her that Cameron knew that too.

"Cam – "

"It's not like you've never slept over here before," he argued, cutting her off.

"Well yeah, but every time I was either sleeping on the couch or in Chey's room," she countered, "I think it would be just a little bit suspicious if we both spent the night in your room, hm?"

Tightening his arms across his chest, Cameron eventually released a heavy breath, "Yeah, yeah, I know," he conceited, "I just like it better when I have you with me, ya' know?"

Aurora's heart was fluttering in her chest at the words that danced off the end of Cameron's tongue as he took a few steps closer towards her, gazing down at her and beaming off all of his warmth as he planted a final, firm kiss on the top of her forehead.

"I'll see you tomorrow," she whispered gently, feeling the electricity of his kiss rush through her entire body.

"Aurora!" Hunter's voice echoed across the house once more, causing the couple to roll their eyes with a laugh.

Shaking her head with another laugh, Aurora turned her body back towards the door as she reached for the handle. With her hand gripped firmly around it, she began to slowly slide the door open, smiling to herself in absolute bliss as she felt Cameron's hand grace the small of her back, leading her back into the family home. Even if it was for only one night, she couldn't deny that on a rainy night like tonight she was definitely going to miss the comfort and affection that he continuously gave her.

"I'm coming, Dad!"

An exhausted yawn escaped from between Aurora's lips as she and Hunter pulled up in front of the hotel in their rental car. As her dad switched off the windscreen wipers, ripped up the hand brake and turned off the engine, all that the young diva could think of was collapsing into her bed and falling into a deep sleep for the night. The twinkling lights the surrounded the hotel shined into the car, catching the glitter of Aurora's necklace and she leant down to pick up her handbag that sat at her feet.

"Hey, that's pretty," Hunter then spoke, taking the 'A' of the necklace to the end of his finger as Aurora sat back up, "I haven't seen that one before."

Aurora awkwardly scratched the back of her neck and she went for the door handle of the car, "Uh, yeah, I bought it today when I was out with Cam."

Shutting their doors behind them, Hunter then locked up the car before tossing the keys to the valet. With their suitcases already up in their rooms, the two of them were able to dash out of the rain, straight upstairs and hit the hay – something Hunter was looking forward to, as well. While he had thoroughly enjoyed the time he had spent catching up with his best friend and his family, there was always more work to be done, and the members of the WWE were due to jump on another plane in the morning and head to Oklahoma City.

"So you had a good day, hey?" Hunter asked as he and his daughter entered between the double doors of the hotel.

"The best," Aurora shot back with a smile, "You?"

Hunter nodded his head, "It was a nice break," he began, trailing off for a moment, "I miss your mum and your sisters, though."

A frown instantly formed across Aurora's features at the despairing tone in her father's voice. She knew exactly how he felt. It had been a long while now since she had seen Stephanie, Murphy and Vaughn, and she missed them like crazy as well.

She sighed softly to herself as she glanced around the lobby. With all kinds of different thoughts about Cameron, her family and her work cycling throughout her mind, it all suddenly came to an abrupt halt as a figure sitting on the couches across the room caught her undivided attention. Her eyes widened momentarily before she blinked and quickly turned back to Hunter.

"Um, I think I'm just gonna' go over and say hi to Dean before I go to bed."

Looking over his shoulder, Hunter spied where one half of the Tag Team champions was sitting down over on the other side of the lobby, staring at the mobile phone that was in his hand.

"Oh," he said simply, his tone remaining the same, "Okay, no worries princess. You have a good sleep."

Watching him turn around on the spot, and promptly realising how she had just very unsympathetically cut her father off, Aurora felt the instant urge to kick herself, "Dad?"

Before he had the chance to retreat into the hotel elevator, the COO spun back around to see his daughter awkwardly pushing her hair out of her face as she shot him a soft, adoring smile.

"We'll get to go home and see them soon," she sang to him sweetly. Returning the same expression through his affectionate, brown eyes, Hunter stepped back towards Aurora and kissed her on the top of her head.

"I'll see you tomorrow morning," he spoke, finally about facing to head off for good, "Sweet dreams."

The smile remained firmly on her face, "Love you."

"Love you, too," he called back, his tone now much brighter and full as he eventually disappeared between the elevator doors. In a flash, Aurora was suddenly left with nothing else around her but the short length of carpet between where she and Dean were each located.

The dark haired Superstar had his eyes intently glued to his phone until he noticed that someone was walking towards him. Looking up, his lips upturned in a grin as the young Diva continued to leisurely stride over to where he was seated. Snapping his phone case closed over the screen and shoving it back into the depths of his pocket, he narrowed his eyes at her, "Well hey there, superstar."

"Hey yourself," Aurora shot back, collapsing into the arm chair opposite him.

The lobby of the San Antonio hotel was wide and spacious, however at this time of the late evening, there weren't particularly many other people standing around or even passing through. Aurora was sort of surprised that she had even been able to notice Dean sitting in the corner keeping quietly to himself, especially since she had all but completely forgotten that he even existed over the past two days.

"What are you doing sitting down here by yourself?"

Dean shrugged his shoulders, "Do I need a reason? I like being alone, but I don't like to sleep much," he said, a laugh in the back of his throat. "You just get back from Shawn's, then?"

Aurora simply nodded her head, "Yeah."

"Cameron there, too?"

Aurora frowned, taken back for a moment. For a split second she couldn't determine what was more strange – the question that Dean had asked, or how quickly and snappy he had asked it.

"Of course," she replied plainly.

There was a short pause for a moment before Dean heaved his shoulders up and down once more, "Well you missed a nice little get together last night, anyways."

Remembering the small gathering that he had invited her to up in his hotel room the previous night, Aurora sarcastically rolled her eyes, "There'll be plenty of other chances to party, Dean."

"Well there'd better be, I wasn't lying when I said I wanted to hang out with you more, you know," he replied, stopping mid thought once again. Watching as Aurora's expression changed and produced a shy smile, Dean cleared his throat, "Maybe when you get that shiny new title of yours in a couple of weeks. You're getting one step closer to complete domination over this system we're in, aren't ya'?"

The precise moment that the words left his lips, the younger wrestler's eyes widened. Her brow furrowed deeply as she stuttered over the start of a sentence. In a mere second or two, the mysterious yet intriguing athlete that sat opposite her had gone from complimenting her to planting another of these curious thoughts in her head. What had he even meant? Mulling over what kind of response the Tag champion was possibly looking for, Aurora flicked her hair out of her face, "What is that even supposed to mean?"

Dean chuckled, "Just making an observation."

"Can't I ever have one normal conversation with you?"

"Well they can't be that horrible if you keep coming back for more."

Falling into a deep silence, Aurora heatedly bit her lip. It never took long for Dean to start cleverly wrapping his words around her and forcing his opinion. And yet, what he said still stood true. While she couldn't begin to understand why, she did simply love hanging out and talking to him. But that didn't mean she was willing to admit it to him.

"Well then maybe that's my cue to go to bed," she jokingly sniped back as she lifted herself out of the arm chair and spun around on her heels, prepared to retreat up to her hotel room.

"Oh, come on, Aurora," Dean spoke, still laughing slightly, "You know I just like to wind you up. Stay here a bit longer," he offered, almost sounding kind of sweet.

Fastening her hands to her hips, Aurora sighed, frowning at Dean again as she turned back around to face him, "Only if you answer me one question."

Beckoning towards the chair, Dean glanced up at her with a grin, clearly submitting himself for whatever it was the young Diva had to ask him. Twirling the chain of her necklace between her fingers, Aurora hesitated for another short moment before dropping back into the chair, immediately licking her lips and opening her mouth to speak.

"Why are you so intent on having me abuse my family's power for my own gain?"

Raising an eyebrow, the sly smirk remained plastered across Dean's face. Leaning forward in his seat, he locked his vision with hers as Aurora simply matched his expression, waiting for him to speak. Although, something told her that he already had an answer to her question prepared that was going to be incredibly hard to refute.

"To be completely honest, I don't understand how you're so against it," he finally said, still sniggering here and there, "You started this princess, you don't talk to anyone else about reaching complete stardom as much as you do with me."

"Yeah, because you're just a driven as I am and have the same ideals."

"But you have one thing that I don't," Dean challenged.

"Oh yeah?" Aurora countered, "What?"

"Uh, this," Dean exclaimed, throwing his arms out, "All of this. The WWE is gonna be yours one day."

Instantly Aurora fell to a sharply stunned silence and her line of eyesight shot down to her feet. This particular conversation was not one that she enjoyed or often had, but despite all that, it didn't deter from the truth of what Dean had said. The WWE had once belonged to her great-grandfather Vincent James McMahon, then her grandfather Vincent Kennedy McMahon, then her mother and father. The next person in line to grip the reigns of the multi-billion dollar company was none other than herself – a thought that sent chills ricocheting over her entire body.

She softly cleared her throat, "I don't think about it that much."

"I don't believe you."

Narrowing her eyes at the immediate, snapping response from the dark-haired Superstar, Aurora's sight flew back up from the floor, "Dean..."

"Hey, it's not like I'm saying it's a bad thing," he interrupted, jumping in over the trailed off tone in Aurora's voice. Grabbing his phone back out of his pocket, he took a quick glance at the time before standing up out of his chair, "If you've got the power, then why not use it? Especially if you want to make sure you and Cammy keep a hold of those titles of yours. Do you really think your dad got where he is today without crossing that boundary even a little bit?"

With all that being said, Dean then slipped his phone back into his pocket and started to make a beeline towards the hotel elevators. Left a little bewildered and spun-out, the frown flew from Aurora's face as she abruptly shook her head and snapped her neck around to face Dean as he continued to walk away.

"How do you always do this?" she asked with a laugh of disbelief.

Coming to a halt, Dean called back to her without turning around, "Do what?"

"Plant an idea in my head and then quickly eject yourself from the conversation just so I might start actually believing it?"

Slowly spinning back around on the spot to reveal the grin firmly implanted on his lips, Dean merely shrugged his shoulders, "Come find me when you want to have that glass of wine. If you can tear yourself away from your little tag buddy, of course."

Then, almost as swiftly as he had changed the subject, Dean disappeared between the elevator doors and out of the hotel lobby, leaving Aurora with a number of different queries flying throughout her mind. No matter how devious he made it all sound, she couldn't help but accept how much sense Dean had been making to her. Did she want to assert her place in the WWE? Yes. Did she want to hold onto her title for as long as she possible could? Yes. Had Hunter played it clean and obeyed every source of authority on his way to the top? Certainly not. However, there was one thing that Dean had said to the young Diva that wasn't going to be able to convince her of.

As she grasped the end of her necklace in her hand and looked down at it, Aurora smiled. Whether it was at this very moment, or long after their relationship was brought to light, nothing and nobody was ever going to tear her away from Cameron. But as far as everything else was concerned, Aurora simply supposed that whatever would be, would be.
