Chapter 14: Enter the New Dream

Night sky over Tatsumi Port Island

A mystical blue portal opened in the sky coming out it was Oneiroi still a blue wing mask with out a body."*sigh* Finally the site where the The Fall was destine to be take place can't believe someone was able to stop that." He said in amazement while looking at the island."Well it took me a week to get here and it's also been a year since The Fall was stopped I hope someone here is useful to my efforts."(Oh there will)

Oneiroi eyed the train line leading to the island and sensed something on abound a late night train."Hmm interesting someone's having a nice dream, maybe I'll go see it in person might be fun." He said floating down towards the train when he got to a window he saw two teenagers sitting next to eachother.

The first was a boy sleeping in his seat, his unkempt hair was short and bright blonde in color but his eyebrows were black and the right one had a nick in it. He was wearing black pants, black shoes and a white dress shirt with his school jacket tied around his waist, around his neck was a sliver necklace with a feather pendant that caught Oneiroi's eye."Oh a bird lover eh? I am liking you boy." Oneiroi thought then turned to his friend next to him.

This one was a girl with auburn hair tied in a pony tail dressed in the gekkoukan high school uniform for girls. Her eyes were closed while she was listening to music from a pair of headphones."Hmm...?" She hummed opening her eyes which were a striking red that stared right at Oneiroi making him duck under the window.

"Did she really just see me?" Oneiroi asked himself hiding not sure if he should show himself to the girl."If she did then that means she was the 'potential'."

"...was that a bird?" The girl questioned taking her earphone off and tilted her head to a side while looking at the window."Hey did you se-..." She was going ask to her friend but stopped when she saw he was asleep and got a idea smiling like a villain."...Hehehe wakey wakey!" She giggled pinching the boy's cheeks and stretching them instantly waking him up.

"OW! OW! OW! LET GO! LET GO!" He screamed loudly good thing they were the only two on the train at the time or he would have made a big scene with all his screaming."Please let go Minako-chan?" He begged feeling like the skin on his cheeks would come off any second.

"Hmm fine Waka-kun." Minako did as Waka asked letting go of his cheeks and was about to smile at him when Waka rubbed his knuckles against the sides of her head."Owww what did I do?!"

"1: You woke me up while I was having a nice dream and 2: You called me Waka-kun again! I already told you I hate that nickname! My name is Takashi! How the hell did you even get Waka out of that." Takashi yelled at Minako giving his real name then let go of Minako while scowling at her.

But Minako returned it with a cheery smile."You look like a Waka that's all." She answered Takashi's question with out really explaining a thing then pointed to the window."I saw something outside that looked like a bird and thought I'd ask... really." Minako was asking when she turned back to Takashi but he was sleeping again with his head about to hit the floor."Wake up!" This time she chose to slap him on the back waking him up a second time."How can you fall sleep when a cute girl is talking to you."

"Huh? Cute girl? Where is she?" Takashi asked half asleep then jokingly looked around for someone other then Minako which ticked her off because there was no one around beside them."Heh, you said something about a bird right?" He asked showing that he at least heard something while he stared at the window.

"Yea I think it was blue and it was like it was staring at us." Minako answered getting a little creeped out.

"Hmm well I don't see anything out there and birds aren't active at night so it must of been your amazing imagination." Takashi told Minako patting her on the head like she was a little kid to which she pouted with a blush.

"Don't do that I'm not a little kid you know." Minako whined like a kid she said she wasn't shaking Takashi's hand off her head.

"Really now eh?" Takashi teased giving Minako a mocking smile before she could retort the train came to a stop suddenly stopping them from continuing their chat.

"Welcome to Iwatodai station..." A monotone voice came of the speakers inside the train."...This is the final train bound of Tatsumi Port Island, Please take care when boarding before our departure and thank you." After that the doors to the train opened.

"Well it looks like we're here." Takashi said getting up and along with Minako stepped off the train."Hmm what the heck is that?" Takashi questioned as he got passed the train station gate he saw a small blue bird wing mask on the floor."This must be that bird thing you were talking earlier." He said picking the mask up and waved it Minako's face.

Minako looked at it for moment then took it from Takashi."Well it is blue and it does look like a bird I wonder if someone lost it?" She asked holding the mask up high.

"Hmm I don't see anyone else coming off the train guess that means it's mine!" Takashi cheered snatching the mask from Minako's hands but she didn't try to take it back like he wanted instead she was looking up at the clock in the train station the time was 11:59."Come on you know nothing is going to happen." Takashi tried telling her but she still stared at the clock.

Seconds ticked by slowly counting down to midnight 5...4...3...2...1 the clock hit midnight but what Minako thought would come didn't appear and she let out a sigh of relief."Ok things are still normal let's go!" She exclaimed marching out of the train station with out a second thought.

"Hey wait up?" Takashi yelled at chasing after Minako as she disappeared out the door stuffing the mask in one of his pockets.

"Hmm it seems that these mortals have had run ins with the Dark Hour very interesting, then that means this boy also has the 'potential'" Oneiroi thought just in case Takashi could hear him a freak out which he doesn't need right now.

Half hour later Iwatodai Dormitory

"*Yawn* We're here at last." Takashi yawned after having a short uneventful walk from the train station to his and Minako's new home they will be staying at until they finish school next year the lights were on the ground floor meaning someone was up."I hope this new school will help Minako-kun get over that weird place we kept going every night, I am so fucking glad that stuff stopped last year, whoever did that has my thanks...hmm." He was brought out his thoughts by the sound knocking and saw that it was Minako at the door."Hey, just because the lights are on doesn't mean they're wake in there."

"No point in not trying though." Minako answered cheerfully, knocking on the door a few more times then to Takashi's suprise he heard the door get unlocked and Minako turned around to smile at him."See!"

Opening the door was Yukari in her school uniform."Good evening." She greets Minako and Takashi with small smile."You're the two transfer students right?" She asked looking at Minako then at Takashi.

"Yep 2nd year transfer student Minako Shiomi." Minako introduced herself then motioned over to Takashi."And that's my friend Waka Yama-! OW!" Only half through with what she was saying Takashi repeated what he did to her earlier on the train."Stop it! Stop it!" She cried.

"You did it again!" Takashi yelled at rubbing harder to get the point across while the Yukari just stared at them in confusion."Sorry about her, my name is Takashi Yamada and who might you be?" He asked.

"It's Yakari I am a 3rd year student please come inside." Yakari answered opening the door wider for Takashi and Minako to come inside when they did Junpei was sitting in front of T.V with the remote in his hands mindlessly flipping through channels with out end when the door closed he looked up at them.

"Yo Yuka-tan who're those two?" He asked jumping off the couch and walked over to them."Sup I'm Junpei Iori 3rd year extraordinaire!" He proclaimed jabbing a thumb into his chest in a over the top kind of way.

"Oh shut it Stupei the only thing extraordinary about you is your mouth." Yakari told Junpei off making him instantly hang his head low.

"Ah come on Yuka-tan can't a guy have fun." Junpei begged putting his hands to together and was about to kneel when Yakari glared at him.

Takashi and Minako stared at eachother while Yakari and Junpei."Well they seems to get along nicely don't you think?" Takashi whispered to Minako.

"Yep agreed." She whispered back to him.

"Well anyway let's get you guys to your rooms at least we'll get better introductions in the morning." Yakari said done with Junpei for the moment and took Minako's hand leading her to the stairs."Stupei you show uhmm Takashi was it? to his room." She added disappearing up the stairs.

"Come on Taka-kun let me show you to your new crib!" Junpei cheered striking a weird pose like he was on a T.V show and also giving Takashi a nickname already giving off friendly vibe.

"Cool lead the way Junpei-senpai." Takashi answered then noticed Junpei got a look in his eye at hearing senpai following Junpei up the stairs to the 2nd floor just as they did Yakari and Minako were going to the 3rd floor."Hmm the girls are on the 3rd floor huh?"

"Yep but don't go up unless you want Yuka-tan to beat the life out of you." Junpei warned with a grim expression that was a bit much.

"I can only see that happening to you." Takashi thought seeing through Junpei and continued to following him until they got to the last door in the hallway.

"Here you go easy to remember just walk down until you get to end, your stuffs in there already so you can hit the sack or you could come down and have a all nighter with me." Junpei offered with a smile.

"Uhhhh don't we have school tomorrow?" Takashi asked since it was a Wednesday.

"Meh I stay up all the time and just catch some Zs in class the next day no biggie." Junpei answered with out a second thought."So you game?"

"Nah that train ride here was hella long I need sleep see you in the morning senpai." Again Takashi saw a look in Junpei's eyes that was scaring him now.

"Ok suit yourself later." Junpei said going to back down the stairs with look of pride on his face.

"Such a weird guy." Takashi though out loud not getting what was up with Junpei then closed his door and immediately hit his bed."Ohhh a soft bed after long ass train thank you gods." He muttered about to drift off to dream land when he remembered something."Oh right you." He pulled out the mask he found at the train station and set it down on the desk in the room."Who ever lost you is feeling pretty sad right now...oh well like I said you're mine now hehehe *yawn*." After letting out a laugh Takashi fell back on the bed and right into sleeping.

"Yes I'm your's and you are going to help me mortal to save the world from darkness." Oneiroi said looking at Takashi as he was sleeping and had a thought."And I agree with the girl you look like a Waka." Once he said Takashi threw a pillow in his direction that missed by a inch."Did he hear me?"

"Uhhhh Minako-chan d-d-don't call don't call me that *snore*" Takashi said still asleep sifting around in his bed.

"*sigh* He scared me there for a second, now I need to think of way to show myself to him with out freaking him out and tossing me out a window hmm." Oneiroi went into a deep thought while Takashi was snoring away.

Hey a short chapter for once that's weird? But it had to happen because there's nothing really happening here and yes I Minako is here now hmm I wonder who the hell did that one *stares at Chaos*
