Previously…
(Liliana's POV)

I brought my hands up and tangled them in his soft, curly blonde hair as he tries to deepens the kiss, his tongue coming out to brush against my bottom lip, asking for entrance.

My heart is slamming in my chest as I open to him. I can feel the vibrations as a purr erupts from his chest, causing me to involuntarily shiver with pleasure. Sure, I don't have much to compare it to, but I don't think anyone else's first kiss would be up to par with this one with Jasper. His cool mouth feels amazing against mine as his hands hold me against him. Its then that I know that no one will make me feel the way Jasper does.

I pull back slightly, only because in one more second, I would have passed out from the lack of oxygen.

I slowly opened my eyes and peered up into Jasper's as I pant, trying to catch my breath. He ran a hand through my hair and I smile, feeling giddy at the thought of finally having him as mine, just as much as I'm his. I relish the feeling of finally knowing without a doubt that he loves me just as much as I love him.

I buried my head into Jasper's neck and closed my eyes, just now realizing how tired I truly am from everything that has happened. I can feel myself beginning to fall asleep, relieved that it's finally over. I'm becoming dead weight in his arms and I can feel him gently begin to rock me as he rubs soothing circles on my lower back, beneath the gauze that cover my wounds.

You know the saying, 'Every ending is a new beginning'? It's true. The threat of James has come to an end, but my life with Jasper has just begun, and I find myself excited for what's going to happen next.

As always, Lily's thoughts will be in italics, while any and all sign language will be in bold italics. This will always be the case unless told otherwise. Enjoy the chapter!

Part I:

Chapter 14
(Liliana's POV)

I felt myself being lifted and placed on the bed before the soft covers were being pulled over me. I found my body sinking into the bed, and I was thoroughly enjoying its comfort. That is, before I felt Jasper begin to pull away and began to panic. My eyes snapped open and I quickly shot out my hand to grab a hold of his shirt.

"N-No." I mumbled, my throat feeling slightly hoarse from sleep. "S-Stay, please."

I looked up at him and saw him smile before my eyes felt too heavy and closed again. Everything was just catching up to me and I felt absolutely exhausted.

The bed shifted as Jasper climbed in next to me, pulling the covers up and over the both of us. I curl my body into his, laying my head over his chest as he slipped his arms around me, placing a hard kiss on the crown of my head. Just the feel of his hard, cool body pressed up against mine soothed me, and helped me fall asleep within a matter of minutes.

Opening my eyes, I find that I'm back in the meadow. The sun was out and shining brightly without so much as a single cloud in the bright blue sky.

Looking down at myself, I noticed that I'm once again wearing the white dress, and a smile pulls at my lips. I find that I love coming back to this place and the feeling that it gives me.

Out of the corner of my eye, I spot a small figure running towards me.

There she is, that beautiful little girl.

She was wearing a white dress similar to my own, while her hair fell down to her waist in gorgeous, brown little ringlets.

Smiling widely, I began to run towards her and opened my arms in time for her to jump right into them. I picked her up and swung her around, adjusting her up onto my hip where I surprise myself with the strength I seem to possess. I could feel the vibrations flow through her as she laughs and stares up at me before resting her head onto my shoulder, wrapping her small arms tightly around my neck.

Who was this little girl? And how was it that she had become so important to me?

I suddenly felt myself being gently shaken awake. Opening my eyes, I find Jasper leaning over me as he looked down at me, wearing a small smile on his handsome face.

I lazily reach up and wipe the sleep from my eyes, reading his lips as he speaks, "Your parents are on their way to the hospital. Edward is still there with your sister."

I nodded, sitting up in bed and began to stretch as I watched Jasper as he climbed off the bed and turned to grab something before placing it down on the floor near the edge of the bed.

"I brought your bag up so you could get dressed and ready for the day. Though, I have to admit, I do like seeing you wearing my shirt and dressed in my clothes," he grinned, though I could sense the possessiveness in his statement.

I smiled my thanks, a light blush spreading through my cheeks as I scooted over to the edge of the bed to open my bag. I grabbed a purple henley and a pair jeans out of it, along with some underwear and my toothbrush.

I headed into the bathroom where I splashed some water on my face and brushed my teeth. I reluctantly peeled off Jasper's shirt and my old clothes, however I did feel better in a pair of fresh clothes.

I had to do a double-take when I looked up to glance in the mirror, immediately spotting the angry purple and blue bruises decorating my neck. I grimaced and lifted my head, turning it side to side while I studied them, the reminder of all that had happened with James. Upon closer inspection, I saw that they created the shape of a large hand that almost reached completely around my neck. Thinking back, he probably could've easily snapped it, if he'd wanted to. The thought alone made me visibly shudder, and I gently poked at skin around them, wincing when I felt how raw it was.

How am I supposed to hide this from my parents, and everyone else?

Sighing, I turned to gather up all my dirty clothes and headed back into the bedroom, lazily shoving them into my bag before making my way out into the living room where I found Jasper, Carlisle, Emmett, and Alice all spaced out on the couches. They turned to look at me as I entered, silently biding me hello.

I smiled and gave a brief wave before getting down to business, pointing up at my neck and tilting my head at an angle, allowing them to see the full view of the dark abrasions.

"Alice, do you have a scarf with you?" I watched Carlisle ask, and she nodded, standing up to head over to her bag.

Jasper began striding over to me with a tense expression and stopped only inches in front of me, lifting my chin and gritting his teeth at the close up view. I could feel the anger rolling off of him at the evidence James had left behind from his attack as a growl vibrates in his chest. I reached up to place a hand on his wrist, giving him a small smile to show him that I wasn't in any pain. However, I knew that just the fact that he had left any marks on me at all was driving his inner vampire insane, and so I concentrated on sending my devotion and love for him in his direction. A small smile pulled at his lips and he shifted his hand to cup my jaw, running his thumb over my cheek affectionately.

Alice appeared at my side with a knitted grey scarf that she gently helped wrap around my neck, covering up the discolored flesh before arranging my hair a bit.

She stepped back to admire her handywork, a satisfied smile on her face. "There, now you can't even see it."

Carlisle stood and made his way over, grinning in his agreement with a nod. "As Jasper told you, Charlie and Renee are on their way. I told them that Edward, Jasper, and I came to Phoenix so they could try to persuade you girls to return home. As far as they and the hospital know, Bella tripped and fell down two flights of stairs and through a window."

I nodded, slightly amused at the quite believable story he created. The sad thing is that it wasn't at all too far-fetched when it came to my clumsy big sister. Either way, I was just glad that she was okay.

"Would you like to go and see her?" he asked, and I immediately nodded, causing him to smile and once again nod as he turned to Jasper. "Would you mind taking her while we get everything else settled here?"

Jasper agreed, gently taking my hand in his and leading me towards the door, leaning down to grab the keys off the coffee table on the way before making our way outside and into the elevator, down to the lobby and out the front entrance towards the Jeep.

Like the gentleman he is, Jasper opened my door for me, helping me climb up into the passenger's side before he made his way around to the driver's side. I felt the car come to life as he turned the key into the ignition before backing out and pulling out of the hotel parking lot towards the hospital.

As I was staring out the window, I felt him reach over, taking my hand in his and intertwining our fingers, giving my hand a gentle squeeze. I was pretty excited to see Bella, as well as happy to know that she was for sure going to be okay. I don't know what I would have done if I lost her. She was such a large piece of me that I wasn't sure I could go on without her. However, I was curious as to what the extent of her injuries were. I also wondered how mom and dad were going to react. Knowing mom, she will probably be a wreck while dad puts up his emotional barriers. But, most importantly, I just hoped he forgives us for how we left him.

Jasper pulled into the hospital parking lot, shutting off the engine before slipping out of his side and coming around to mine, where he opened my door for me.

When I stepped out, he reached up to adjust my scarf to further cover up my bruises. It was then that I realized how much of a pain it was going to be to hide them until they were fully healed.

Jasper and I both simultaneously reached out to take the other's hands as we entered through to the hospital's main entrance. He led me over to the front desk, stopping in front of a middle-aged woman, who looked up at us from behind the computer monitor.

Slipping into his natural charming persona, he greeted her with a smile. "Hello, ma'am. We're looking for Miss Bella Swan's room," he informed her.

She nodded and looked back down at the screen where she began typing in my sister's name.

"Are you family?" she looked up to ask him, and he nodded, turning to gesture at me.
"She's her sister."

Nodding, she looked back down at the computer. "She's in room 105."

"Thank you very much." Jasper responded and began pulling me in the direction of Bella's room.

Upon arriving, I opened the door to see that my sister was unconscious with a nasal cannula delicately placed in her nose. Her foot is propped up on some pillows and is wrapped with a removable cast that ended just below her knee and her arm was bandaged up and resting on a pillow at her side. Her other arm was hooked up to an IV with fluids steadily dripping into the tubing and several cords were hooked up to her chest, monitoring her vitals.

I slipped further into the room while Jasper stayed at the door, and Edward looked up at us, a guilty expression on his face.

'How is she?' I thought to him.

Edward shifted his attention towards me as he rose from the chair he was sitting in next to the bed. "Her leg is broken and they had to stitched her up in a few places. The doctor doesn't know when exactly she will wake up - it's up to her."

I nodded and made my over to her her opposite side, taking her left hand with the IV in mine.

'Would you mind giving me some privacy with my sister?' I mentally asked him.

"Of course. Jasper and I will wait just outside," Edward replied with a nod, looking over at his adopted sibling as he passes him.

Jasper turned to me once we were alone, and fixed me with a questioning gaze. "Are you gonna be okay?"

I nodded, and he gave me a small smile before slipping out into the hallway, closing the door behind him.

I turned back to stare down at my sister. My beautiful, brave, big sister.

"I'm s-so sorry, Bells. I f-feel like this i-is all my f-fault." I paused, searching for any reaction or sign she could hear me. "I sh-should have warned e-everyone a-about the dreams I've been h-having. Then, you w-wouldn't be h-hurt. But I'm just so glad you're g-gonna be o-okay." I take in a deep breath before continuing, "I-I don't know w-what I would h-have done i-if you died. You're m-my best friend, and I love you, B-Bells."

I see the door opening out of my peripheral vision, and watch as an older gentleman in a lab coat steps in, smiling when he sees me. I immediately see that he is her doctor, his name tag reading 'Dr. William Jacobs'.

"Oh, hello," he greeted me before looking back and forth between Bella and I. "Are you her sister?" he wondered.

I nod, wiping away the tears from my cheeks, which he doesn't fail to notice and sets about reassuring me.

"Your sister is going to be just fine. I suspect that her body is just indulging in some much needed rests right now while her body is healing. She should hopefully be waking up within the next twenty-four hours or so." Dr. Jacobs informs me as he checks over her IV and vitals that are displayed on the monitor she is hooked up to.

I keep a hold on Bella's hand while he continues to check her injuries, then watch as he writes something down onto her chart and makes a quick and quiet exit after bidding me farewell.

I continue to sit with her for a little while longer before both Edward and Jasper enter the room. I looked over to them as Edward takes his previously occupied seat on the other side of the bed while Jasper continues to once again stand by the door.

"Your father is here," Edward informed me. "Your mom should be arriving too soon."

I immediately feel a twist in my gut as he says this.

Charlie is here.

I knew he was probably at the very least upset and most likely hurt at how Bella and I had left, even if I did do my best to reassure him that none of the things that Bella had said were true, and that she just needed to get away for a little while. I still felt responsible for the whole ordeal, and knew that if I had only spoken up, all of this could have been prevented. But, despite our current situation, I knew that I would have to face Charlie sooner or later, so I stood up from my seat next to Bella's bed and gave my sister one last tender glance before walking out of the room.

I felt Jasper place a supportive hand on my shoulder, and I turned around to face at him.

"Do you want me to come with you?" he asked, but I shook my head. I knew that Charlie was probably not very happy with Edward at the moment, and didn't know how he would feel regarding the rest of the Cullen family at the moment. So, I shook my head, knowing that it would probably be for the best that I do this on my own.

I rose up on to the tips of my toes and placed a kiss on his cool cheek, giving his hand an appreciative squeeze before leaving the waiting area and turning down the hall.

I didn't have to walk far before I spotted Charlie heading this way. He instantly noticed me and I watched as his eyes brightened.

I picked up my pace as I made my way towards him, meeting in the middle. He didn't look mad...rather he looked relieved.

I immediately threw my arms around him, relishing the feeling as he held me back. I never realized how much I actually missed him until this very moment. One of my last regrets back at the ballet studio with James was that I thought I was going to die and not be able to make amends for how Bella and I left. He didn't deserve having those words being said to him, even if they were only for show so he'd let us go.

We both stood there for a couple more moments, while I continued clutching onto my dad like back when I was a toddler.

When we finally stepped back, I looked up at him with a remorseful expression, and immediately began to sign, 'I'm so sorry for everything, Dad.'

Charlie didn't respond right away, staring down at me for several seconds before finally shaking his head, "It's okay, Lils. I'm just glad that you girls are okay."

I bit my lip and nodded, pulling him into one more quick hug before making our way down the rest of the hallway and into the waiting room. At seeing Edward and Jasper, I watched as his eyes began to narrow. Dread started to rise in my chest as I feared him stepping forward to confront Edward or something, but, to my relief, he chooses not to. He completely ignored them both and passed right by them as we walked into Bella's room.

Charlie momentarily paused when he first saw the condition that she was in, but, after taking in a deep breath, he stepped forward and took one of the chairs next to her.

After letting him know that I was going to give them some privacy, I slipped out of the room and made my way over to Jasper, where I was immediately engulfed in his arms, a sense of relief finally taking the heavy weight I'd been feeling off of my shoulders since I'd found out that Charlie was on his way.

A couple of hours later, Jasper and I were standing against the wall outside Bella's room. Edward was once again sitting inside with her, so Jasper and I left the room to give them some time alone. He still had the same pained, yet guilty expression on his face, and I hoped that he knew that this was in no way his fault. If anybody's at fault, here, it's me. I saw what was going to happen with James, and I did nothing to stop it. Instead, I ignored my dreams and pushed them away as nonsense.

Why are these things happening to me?

Whatever the reason, I was having these dreams or visions that were coming true, and I need to start paying better attention to them.

Somehow, I'm dreaming of things that will happen in the future. Weird, huh?

I laid my head onto Jasper's shoulder as we sat down in one of the waiting room chairs outside Bella's room. Charlie had just left to go down to the cafeteria to get something to eat. I was still feeling a bit tired from everything that had been going on and my back was really sore. Luckily, my head had started to feel better, and I wasn't having any more pain, aside from the goose egg I had in the back.

Jasper's arm was wrapped comfortably around my shoulders, and was gently rubbing my arm. I closed my eyes and took in a deep breath, my whole body starting to relax until I suddenly felt Jasper tap me on the shoulder with the arm he had wrapped around me.

I opened my eyes and peered up at him questioningly. He nodded at something down the hall, and I turned to see my mom walking quickly down the hall towards us.

I didn't even think as I jumped up and shot down the hall, bolting towards her. She smiled when she saw me and picked up her pace into a jog, meeting me halfway as I ran straight into my mom's arms.

I felt her tightly wrap her arms around me as she hugged me back, and began pressing several kisses to the side of my head. I closed my eyes and buried my head deeply into her shoulder as a bubble of happiness sucked me inside. I was so glad that she was here. I'd missed her so much.

We both pulled back and smiled, her face damp with tears.

"Baby, I missed you so much," I read from her lips, and my smile widens.

Feeling his gaze, I turn to see Jasper standing several paces away, off to the side, watching our exchange with a fond smile on his face. I return his smile before turning back to face my mom, who was watching us with surprised curiosity.

I want you to meet someone, I sign to her and lead her down the hall to where Jasper was waiting for us.

I stopped next to him as he slipped his arm back around my shoulder, pulling me close into his side.

"Hello, it's a pleasure to meet you, Mrs. Dwyer. I'm Jasper Hale." He extended his free hand for her to shake. She seemed a bit dazed at first, before shaking herself out of it and reaching to take his hand, shooting me an approving smile.

"Renee, please! It's so nice to meet you, too." I see her say and I smiled up at Jasper as he looked back down at me. I can already tell that she likes him, especially with how polite and proper he is.

Bella's just in there, I signed before pointing to the closed door to our right, and gesture for her to follow me inside, separating myself from Jasper, who thinks it's a better idea for him to stay away from Bella right now, especially with all her cuts and the blood transfusion they had to do the day before.

As we enter, Edward rises to his feet, and extends his hand in greeting. "Hello, Mrs. Dwyer. I'm Edward Cullen. It's nice to meet you."

"And you, as well," she responded with a smile.

"Please, take a seat," he gestured at the open seat on Bella's other side, which she took and smiled before she began fussing over Bella's unconscious form.

Edward and Renee stayed in her room with her for the next couple of hours while I was slipping in and out. People had been coming in to deliver 'Get Well' cards and flowers from Mike, Jessica, Angela, and Eric. Mom and dad had exchanged a few nice words but mostly stayed in the room. I had to give Edward credit for being able to remain present through Charlie's narrowed-eyed glares. Renee kept her seat at the side of the bed, wanting to be there for when Bella wakes up.

At one point, Carlisle had came in to check on Bella, and seemed confident with her progress. Renee's expression upon first meeting him was amusing as she spoke to him about my sister's condition and what to expect.

Charlie headed back down to the cafeteria to grab coffee for him and Renee while I stayed in the room with Bella. Edward was sitting off to the side on the cot one of the nurses provided while pretending to sleep, thanks to the urging of my mom. Jasper had decided to walk Charlie down to the cafeteria. Luckily, he seemed to take a strong liking to Jasper, which was more than I could say for poor Edward.

I was holding onto Bella's left hand while Renee was gently holding onto her right. I had to smile, though, when I looked over to see her texting on her phone. Someone's finally gotten a new power cord.

I froze when I feel Bella's left hand suddenly twitch in mine, and looked down to see Bella's eyes beginning to open. I quickly motioned to mom, who's eyes began to tear up at seeing Bella finally waking up.

"Oh, baby, you're awake!" I see her say with a watery smile, and I turn back to my sister who was looking extremely disoriented. She started looking around, stopping when her eyes land on me, and she frowned with confusion.

"Lilly? Mom? Where... Where's Edward?"

I quickly calm her, giving her hand a gentle squeeze before nodding my head over to where he's "sleeping."

"He never leaves," Renee reassured her, "And your father's down in the cafeteria with Jasper."

"What... What happened?" she asked groggily, looking between me and mom.

"Edward and Jasper came here, to Phoenix, with their father to convince you girls to come back to Forks with them. You went to meet them at their hotel, but, on your way up, you tripped and fell down the stairs, and through a window," Renee rehashes for her, and I look over at Bella to find that she looks like she's drawing a blank. Her eyes shift to look over at me, and I do my best to discreetly nod, encouraging her to just go with it.

A frown pulled at Bella's lips and she nods. "Sounds like me," she muttered and I smile, gently giving her hand a squeeze.

I look over at Renee, and see her looking down at her phone.

"It's Phil. He's worried about you. He wanted to come, but I told him to stay in Florida. The Suns just signed him!" she beams. I smile over at her, pleased at seeing how happy she really is out there. "And you girls will love Jacksonville. It's always sunny, and you will have your own bathroom, and we live right on the water! Just wait..."

I look at her, frowning. I don't want to leave Forks...

"Mom, wait. We want go back and live in Forks. Dad's there..." she glances at all the 'get well soon' cards, "...our friends are there."

Understanding sparks in Renee's eyes, and she turns to gesture towards Edward. "And those boys are there."

I smiled, blushing, and looked over at Bella who just shrugged.

"Though, I have to warn you, Sweetie, Charlie isn't Edward's biggest fan, at the moment. He blames him for you two leaving." I see her say, even though that was already obvious. "I think that boy's in love with you." she smirked, and I also smile over at Bella who tries in vain to hide her own.

"Um, Mom, would you mind getting Dad? I want to talk to him… apologize." she says, looking down at her good hand.

"I'm sure he understands, baby. But I'll go get him anyway. He'll want to know you're awake," she says, standing up and walking out of the room.

Bella turned to me and narrowed her eyes with a quirked brow, "So, I fell down two flights of stairs and through a window?" she asked and I smile before shrugging, turning my head to see Edward "waking up."

She followed my gaze as he rose to his feet, and I take that as my cue to leave them to some privacy.

I made my way out of the room and took a seat down onto one of the benches. Finally, I had time to process everything that's happened, everything that's changed over this last month.

I felt serene...steady...tranquil.

The storm is calmed.

Halcyon.

I smiled to myself and caught movement out of the corner of my eye, and spotted my mom, dad, and Jasper walking down the hallway. They appeared to be laughing at something Jasper said.

Feeling my gaze, he looked over at me with a fond smile on his face that I return.

Yeah, everything's going to be just fine.

Two Months Later…

"S-Stop fidgeting!" I hissed at my sister as I almost stab her in the eye with the eyeliner.

The last two months have been pleasantly boring. Bella and I came back to live with our dad in Forks. Our home.

When we got back to school, many rumors circulated about our sudden departure - none of them being even remotely close to the truth. Even thinking of some of them made me smile, my favorite being that Bella and Edward left to elope with Jasper and I as their witnesses, but our family's stopped them in time.

Speaking of family, Dad forgave Bella and I and everything went back to normal, and I can tell that he's been opening up to us more and more, getting better at showing his fatherly affection. The three of us had been spending more time together, and I really enjoy it.

Mom sold our old house in Phoenix, and is now living full-time in Florida with Phil, where he is playing for the Suns. We have plans to fly out there to visit her this summer, which, I must say, she is ecstatic about. I can really see how happy she is out there. Moving to Forks was definitely the right decision.

Bella and Edward have been falling deeper and deeper in love every day. It is very rare to see one without the other, not that they want to be, anyway. Charlie still has a cold disposition towards Edward, but he remains civil for Bella's sake. In fact, he's downstairs right now waiting for Bella to finish getting ready.

Tonight is prom night, and, right now, I'm finishing up on my sister's makeup. Her hair is done half up, half down in curls. Alice had lent her a gorgeous short, blue dress, and she paired it with some grey leggings. She's wearing a converse on one foot with her boot on the other. She finally got her cast taken off two weeks ago, but is still stuck with a boot.

I finally finished with her makeup and took a step back, smiling at the finished product. I couldn't help, but to feel a bit of envy when I saw how gorgeous she looked.

"There, all d-done." I tell her and she turns around to face the mirror, eyes widening a bit when she sees herself. She looks for a little bit before turning around to me, face looking unsure.

"Are you sure I look alright?" she asks, nervously looking down at the dress.

"Bells, y-you look b-beautiful." I tell her and she looks up, smiling at me.

"Thanks, Lils." I see her say before looking up at me with an uneasy smile. "Are you sure you and Jasper can't come with us tonight?"

I smirked, shaking my head, "No w-way! You know that's not r-really our t-thing."

The truth was that it wouldn't bode well for anyone if Jasper and I showed up tonight. He had shyly explained how dozens of hot and sweaty humans packed into a tight room with a vampire like him wasn't the best idea, and apologized profusely, promising to make it up to me - not that I minded not going and understood his reasoning completely. After all, the others in his coven who were attending didn't have the same struggles someone like him had, not to mention having to put up with feeling everyone else's thirst, on top of their own.

"So, what are you and Jasper doing tonight?" Bella asked after getting my attention and bringing me back out of my thoughts.

I shrugged. Honestly, I didn't know. All he'd told me was to be ready by seven and that he would come to pick me up. "D-Don't know. He's picking m-me up when you g-guys leave." I told her, and she grinned up at me as I tried to hide my smile. I was really excited to spend tonight with him.

"I should probably get downstairs before dad's glare puts a permanent hole through Edward, sending him running," Bella joked.

I shook my head. "Please, you know n-nothing on this earth w-would be able t-to keep Edward away f-from you."

We laughed as I slipped out of her bedroom and made my way down the stairs, where I immediately see Edward and Charlie as they stood up from their seats around the kitchen table and began walking over.

"Is she ready?" Charlie asked, and I nodded, turning back to face the stairs as Bella slowly makes her way down. I smile at her as she gets to the bottom, holding her sweater in one arm.

When I turn back to the men to see their reactions, I find that Edward is staring at my sister in awe, and I can't help but to smile at this. I definitely approved of Edward for Bella. He takes really good care of her, and it's obvious that he honestly loves her.

"You're perfect." I see him say, and I glance over at Charlie, who has a bit of an uncomfortable glare on his face. I have to wonder if he will ever like Edward, though probably not. "I'll take good care of her, Chief Swan." Edward promises as he turns to face my dad.

"Yeah, I heard that before." I see Charlie mutter, and gently smack his arm. He peeked over to me with a small amused smile on his face before we follow them over to the front door. Edward walked outside, but dad held Bella back. "I put new can of pepper spray in your bag," he tells her and I can't help but laugh.

"Dad," I see her whine.

Charlie shifted on his feet, looking a little awkward, "... and... you look beautiful."

They both smile as Bella makes her way outside to join Edward. I watch her as she gets into the car before walking outside onto the front stoop.

Edward? I thought out to him.

He looks over to me and I smiled as I relay my sisterly warnings to him via my thoughts.

I love my sister more than my own life. Please, take care of her, and if you ever wrong her, the fact that you're a vampire won't matter. I will find a way to hurt you.

His lips twitch into a smile and I smile back as I use my hands to sign,

Have fun.

"Thanks, Lily." he laughed and slides into the Volvo. Bella peered over at me through the glass with a confused expression, but I just wave to her as they begin to pull out.

I looked down at my watch and see that it's six-thirty, which meant that I had to start getting ready.

I hurry back into the house and dash up the stairs and into my room. I pull off my v-neck and capri pants, replacing it with a blue, floral sundress with a dark grey cardigan. I slipped on my grey converse and head over to my mirror, absentmindedly fixing my hair.

When I checked my clock, I notice that it's ten to six, and Jasper is usually always early. So, I walked into the bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth before seeing Charlie appear in the open doorway.

"Jasper just pulled up," I see him say, and I nod, spitting out the rest of the toothpaste, and rinsing out my mouth.

Walking downstairs with Charlie, I see Jasper walk up to the screen door. I pulled it open for him as he smiles that amazing, gorgeous, impossibly charming while he stands there looking absolutely perfect. He's wearing a light lilac colored button down shirt with a taupe colored sweater over it, and is blonde curls fall a little untamed on his head. I never, in my life, thought that I'd ever be with someone this beautiful.

"Hey, Lily." he greeted me as I step aside, letting him enter the house.

Charlie appeared, walking over to us, and Jasper smiled at him, extending his hand. "Chief Swan."

Charlie gives him a firm nod and takes his hand, shaking it with a smile of his own.

"What are your plans for tonight, kids?" he asks more in Jasper's direction, who looks down at me.

"I wanted us to have dinner at my house with my parents. They keep asking me to have Lily over." Jasper explains to Charlie who gives him an appeased nod.

"That's sounds good," He replied. "Well, you kids have fun tonight."

Jasper smiled, "Thank you, sir. What time would you like her home by?"

Charlie looked down at me, deliberating. "Eleven should be good."

I actually widen my eyes at this. My curfew with Jasper during the school year is usually ten o'clock, sometimes ten-thirty if Charlie is feeling nice. He playfully mocks my look before turning back to Jasper.

"I'll keep her safe, Chief Swan," Jasper promises, and Charlie nods.

Jasper looks over at me and I hold up my hand, silently telling him I'll be right there. He nods and walks outside to the car while I turn back to my dad.

"I like him. His brother...not so much." Charlie says, and I smile. "You still have that pepper spray, though, just in case, right?" he asked, and I rolls my eyes as he gives me a small smile. "Have fun tonight, Lils."

I step forward and pull him into my arms. He returned the hug, and we stay like this for a moment before I finally pull back.

I love you, dad.

He looked down at me with a slight grin, "Love you too, kid. Now, go. Have fun."

I smile, and make my way outside and over to the Jeep. Jasper waits and opens the door for me, and I climb into the front seat with, admittedly, some help before he walks around the front to get in on the driver side.

After he pulled out of the driveway and started driving down the road, I realize that he's driving in the direction of his house. However, despite what he told Charlie, I knew that we couldn't be going there, because Carlisle and Esme had went hunting.

I felt Jasper's hand as he reached over and laced our fingers together, and I turn to look at him.

"So, w-what's the real plan?" I wondered, and he peeks down at me with a small smirk.

That's another thing that has changed within the last two months. I talk to both Bella and Jasper now, and, in doing so, I've found that my speech has improved. I don't stutter nearly as much as I used to, but I'm still nowhere near perfect. The fact is that I am comfortable enough to talk to him in the first place. However, I don't know if I'll ever get to the point where I'm comfortable enough with my speech to start talking to everyone, but, for now, it's an improvement.

He looked down at me with a smirk. "You will just have to wait and see, Lily," he teased, and I shook my head, turning my attention back to the road ahead.

I watched as Jasper pulled down the road toward his house, and I can see it slowly coming into view. He stopped the car out front, and turns off the engine before climbing out and flitting around to open my door for me.

He took my hand and began to lead me towards the forest surrounding his house. I silently followed him as we walk, the sun setting over the horizon. I couldn't help but to let out a little squeak when he unexpectedly scooped me up and started running with me towards our destination.

After a couple minutes, he stopped, gently setting me down, and I immediately begin to look around, finding that we're on a grass bank. I noticed some light coming from towards the middle of the field, and, as we get closer, I see that Jasper had laid out a blanket and it's set up with candles that were placed in small jars.

My jaw dropped from the sheer perfection of it all.

Jasper Whitlock - the King of Romance.

I looked over to him as he smiled to himself at my reaction.

I'd hoped that you would like it, Jasper signed, and I smile. He's gotten pretty good at sign language over the last couple of months, what with me teaching him. I know it's not the prom, but -

I immediately cut him off, placing my hand over his, stopping him with a shake of my head. "It's better."

He smiled widely, intertwining our fingers as he guided me over to the blanket before we sit down, me lounging against his chest as I relax in between his legs.

These last two months have been utterly amazing with Jasper. He always makes me feel like the luckiest girl in the world. Our connection has gotten stronger and stronger each day. But there are times when I don't feel worthy of someone like Jasper. Sometimes I feel like there is someone out there who deserves him far more than I do. But Jasper never fails to remind me how important I am to him and how much he loves me as he does his best to remove those thoughts from my mind.

It's twilight, I see him sign in front of me and I look up at the gorgeous sky. Blue, pink, orange, purple, yellow. My favorite time.

I smile at the sky as Jasper and I both lay back, our bodies entwined.

This is where I feel I belong, right here in Jasper's arms. It's where I was made to me.

I look over at him and smile as he leans over to place his cool lips against mine. Every single kiss never fails to leave me breathless.

I pulled back and stared into his bright, golden eyes and smile. "I love you, Jasper."

He smiles and brushes some of my hair away from my face. "And I love you, Lily," he says, and I cuddle up closer to him, staring at the sky.

I've finally found my anchor, the one thing holding me down to the Earth. Jasper Whitlock. I'm in love, and, I must say, it's amazing. I would definitely recommend it. My heart belongs to this man who's lying next to me. I just hope that he'll take good care of it. I hope he knows what he means to me. I hope he knows how much I love him.

I love Jasper so much, it hurts. I don't know how people survive this kind of love. I don't, but it's unbelievable. Overwhelming. Beautiful. Amazing.

I'm not too worried about the future. Will I become a vampire? I don't know. If it means staying with Jasper forever, I'll definitely consider it. Either way, I'm not worrying about anything tonight. It's just me and him. Together.

All I know is, with Jasper, the future is extremely bright.
