/Telepathic connection between Harry and his friends/
-Letters-
-Memory-
It had been a week since the Weasleys and the two werewolves had arrived. Harry had suggested that they have a school activity to entertain the students and so now they were having a meeting with the students to see what they wanted to do.
The students were surprised to be there and when they heard why they were even more surprised. They just stared at the dark lord.
"I want to know what you want to do for a school activity. The paper in front of you is a list of activities that you could do. You can come up with your own and if I approve it then it can go on the list. At the end of the week you will vote on what you want to do. Understand?"
Some nodded but most were too afraid. No one besides Harry, his friends, and most Slytherins believed that the dark lord was good. They actually believed that this was doing this to gain their trust so they could be useful.
"Can-" Harry began only to be interrupted by Voldemort.
"No more suggestions from you." He told Harry in exasperation causing Harry to pout.
"Awww." Some of the students giggled. "It was a good one this time."
"I doubt it."
"But-"
"But nothing." Harry's pout deepened. "You have horrible suggestions."
"Not all of them."
"Actually..." Neville began to say.
"July 6th." Harry said causing Neville to shut up and turn a bright red.
"Never mind."
"I thought so." Harry said smugly. "Now as I was saying how about a field trip to a historical place that means something to us or to a fun place for us to go."
Those who heard his past suggestions were shocked. "That is a good idea."
"Don't sound so shocked." Harry told his mate with a glare. "Those past suggestions were only jokes." He stood and left. "Jackass."
"Lucius and Severus you're in charge." He turned and left to follow his mate.
Harry had made a great distance since as soon as he was out of the room he began running. Voldemort had to use their bond to find his mate who had went outside and to the Black Lake. There he found his mate sitting under a tree crying. A moon cat sat on his lap.
As he approached the cat hissed at him. He stopped and looked at his mate before he sat down where he stood and looked at him.
"Harry I am sorry that I offended you. I knew that you were joking around before and I figured that was what you were going to do. I wasn't shocked that you had a good idea, I was shocked that I was wrong."
Harry didn't react but Luna stood and walked over to Voldemort. She rubbed up against him before leavening in a burst of silver light. Voldemort stood and walked over to Harry and wrapped his arms around his mate.
"I know you are smart love. I just thought that you were trying to relax the others by joking."
Harry turned and snuggled into his chest. He still didn't speak. Voldemort wasn't discouraged and just began rubbing circles into his back.
"I really am sorry."
"I know." Harry told him softly. "It just... never mind."
"Just what love?"
"Nothing." Harry said as he snuggled closer.
"It isn't nothing Harry."
"You don't even know what it is. How can you know whether or not it is nothing?"
"Because it is upsetting you."
"I don't understand."
"I love you and anything that is bothering you or upsetting you is something." Voldemort explained.
"Okay."
"Okay?"
"When I was little I had gotten a great report card. It was of As and Bs and I was really proud. I stupidly thought that this would make my aunt and uncle proud but it didn't." Harry told him as he leaned back and looked his mate in the eye. "Uncle Vernon backhanded me across the face. He said that I cheated and that I was too stupid to get these grades. When they saw Dudley's report card aunt Petunia pour the hot tea that she was drinking on me and yelled at me for making Dudley look stupid. Somehow me getting good grades and Dudley practically failing was my fault."
Voldemort brought Harry back to his chest. He now understood and really wished that the Dursleys were thawed so that he could punish them.
"It wasn't your fault."
"I know that now but when I first came to Hogwarts I..." His eyes widened when he realized what he was about to say.
"You what?"
"No-"
"It isn't nothing Harry. You what?"
"I purposely failed most of my classes and only did well in the classes that people expected the boy-who-lived to do well in." Harry mumbled.
"Oh Harry. You were accused of cheating when you started to get better grades, weren't you?"
"Yeah. McGonagall had me in detention most of the year when Dumbledore what alive."
"Did she have proof?"
"No. Dumbledore said that because my grades improved too fast that that was proof enough. None of the teachers knew about the detentions though."
"They didn't?"
"No. Well maybe the ones loyal to Dumbledore but those like professor Flitwick and professor Spout would have been angry. They were the ones to help me in the first place."
"Help?"
"They saw my grades and talked to me about them. At the end of my 4th year they gave me books and worksheets to do. I sent them the worksheets when I finished them and they would grade and send them back with notes and tips. It helped a lot. I told Dumbledore and McGonagall but they accused me of lying to them."
"I see." Voldemort said as he hid his anger.
"When people keep telling you the same thing over and over again you start to believe."
"I know. I actually believed that when I accidentally hurt the other children in the orphanage I liked to do it."
"Dumbledore told me something like that last year."
"He did."
Harry whipped his face off. "Yeah. He had a bunch of his memories in his office and he also had many memories that belonged to others. He made me watched them and even though I saw the pain he tried to make me believe that it was joy and happiness from harming others."
"That fucking old goat."
"It was then that I knew that I really couldn't fight you. I didn't want too before but I just couldn't after that."
"Well I am glad."
"Mmm me too."
"How about you go take a shower and I will go see how the meeting is going?"
"Okay." They stood and left.
Voldemort entered the Great Hall and all fell silent. He quickly returned to his previous spot.
"Any decisions made yet?"
"Yes." Severus said as he handed over the list.
Voldemort read the list and gave a nod in agreement. Voldemort noticed a 3rd year looking at him and motioned for him to come over.
"Yes?"
"Is Harry okay?"
"Yes he is. Who are you?"
The kid froze. "Um I well I am..."
Neville saw this and went over. "Voldemort this is Tristen Dumbledore. He is Aberforth Dumbledore's grandson."
"Ah that explains why you froze up."
"He is a 3rd year Hufflepuff who was treated horrible because Dumbledore gave him special treatment." Neville explained. "Harry helped him out when he saw a 7th year hang him upside down in his underwear last year."
That caused Voldemort to frown. Sound just like that old coot. That was why Harry wasn't punished by Voldemort and Severus. They were a conflict of interest and from the sounds of it Dumbledore was punishing his great-nephew for not being a Gryffindor.
"I see. Go to the headmaster's office and inform him of this."
"O-okay." He left after that.
"Set up a committee to help coordinate these events."
He left after that. He had a mate to go find. Once there he smiled when he saw his mate napping on the couch. Since he was an ice and snow demon he wouldn't get sick from getting cold so he quickly took a shower without worrying about a sick mate.
Once he was done he grabbed Harry from the couch and put him into bed. He laid down next to him and he too fell asleep.
