Ok, I've been given some requests dealing with certain characters coming into this story. I might as well say this. I will PM you back if you ask me a question about something in a review. I might give you guys some hints and stuff about what I plan to do with characters like Julie-Su, Antoine, and Scourge. Also this chapter should be known as the episode where Sonic takes Helen to see the flower field and is chased down by the men to just meet the president. The event with Helen happened a couple days before with Sally joining them. That's all I have to say except that I do not own anything in this story. Please enjoy.

"Ah, today feels like a good day." Sonic said putting his arm around his girlfriend as they look up at the sky from the roof.

Sally chuckled, "Yeah, you're right about that." She looked up at the clouds and smiled happily. "Hey Sonic, would it be alright for you to take us out for a run after breakfast?"

"You never had to ask." Sonic said. They got up and jumped onto the back porch of their room before walking into their room. "Plus, we got a lot of things to see."

Sally giggled, "I know that's true. It feels nice that we don't have to hide anymore now."

"You got that right." He smirked at his girlfriend and grabbed her hand. "Plus, this whole adventure has been way past cool."

"Your slang never ceases to amaze me." Sally muttered rolling her eyes before kissing his cheek. "Good thing you know I love you."

Sonic chuckled, "That's true."

Bunnie walked into their room with a knowing smirk on her face. "Breakfast is ready yah guys." She said interrupting their moment.

"Nice timing." The couple mutters in annoyance.

Bunnie giggled, "Ah have mah times." She turned around walked away from their room with a knowing smile on their face. She walked into the kitchen and got on her chair not losing her smile.

"Well, everything seems to be in order now for the carrier jet." Rotor said walking into the kitchen wiping his hands with the rag.

"That's great Rotor." Tails said giving the walrus a thumbs up.

Rotor sat down in his seat and smiled, "Thanks Tails, but I might have to do some more upgrades later if the situation calls for it."

"If you want, we could get it upgraded where it can fight like a giant robot like the X-Tornado." Tails suggested which caught Charles' attention.

Charles looked at Tails and said, "Now Tails, this jet was meant to be our travel machine not a fighting machine like the X-Tornado."

"True, but my old plane was meant for fighting as well, and it had to be upgraded for certain reasons." Tails reminded Sonic's uncle. "Plus, the jet can't really go from place to place really quick like the X-Tornado. If you install a chaos emerald…"

"The machine will be able to go faster in our control." Rotor finished for Tails. "It makes sense, but I rather have that built when I get my new vehicle built."

Tails nodded, "Ok, I understand that."

"Hey guys, what's for breakfast?" Sonic asked as he and Sally walked into the kitchen.

"I decided to make a simple breakfast today Mr. Sonic." Ella said as she was finishing the food on the stove. "We're having eggs, bacon, and toast today."

"Well, I can't argue with that." Sonic said before sitting on the bar stool with Sally.

Ella chuckled at that. "Well, you and your girlfriend will be getting the food first since you guys did take care of Eggman." She said bringing their plates to them.

"Thanks Ella." Sally said before grabbing her fork. "It looks good."

"Oh deary, Sonic is such a lucky guy to have you." Ella said smiling at the two.

"Oh boy, I hope this doesn't blow over." Sonic muttered before digging into his food with Sally following.

Bunnie looked at the couple and sighed, 'They're so lucky to have each other. Ah wish that was meh and Twain.' She looked at Cream and smiled softly as the young bunny was helping Ella with the plates. 'Cream is lucky to be young. To be honest she sort of reminds me of Aunt Vanilla.'

"Here we go." Ella said walking over to the table with the tray full of plates.

"I was able to help with the plates." Cream said happily before sitting down in her chair.

"Chao!" Cheese said happily before flying into Cream's lap.

"Mr. Thorndyke, the mail has arrived." Mr. Tanaka said as he walked into the kitchen.

Ella looked at Mr. Tanaka and sighed, "You could have just waited until after breakfast."

Mr. Tanaka nodded, "Yes, I could have, but there is a letter to Mr. Sonic that seems to be very important."

"For me?" Sonic asked in surprise after swallowing his food. He took the letter from Mr. Tanaka and looked at it curiously. "Well, this seems to be from someone named the President of the United States."

"What?!" Chuck flew out of his seat and took the letter from Sonic. He looked at the address and smiled gleefully. "Oh, this has got to be good."

Sally snatched the letter from Chuck's hands and opened it up. "I'm gonna read it Chuck." Sally told the old man. "After all it's for Sonic, and he has a bad time with reading."

"Hey, I'll let you know my vocabulary has greatly improved over the time we haven't seen each other." Sonic said in defense pointing his finger at his girlfriend.

Sally giggled, "I'll make sure to remember that." She opened the folded letter and read, "You are cordially invited to a black tie charity ball. You can bring as many friends as you want, and we will be providing a limo to pick you guys up. The event will be this Thursday starting at 1:00 p.m."

"Well, this day just got better." Chuck said getting pumped. "We only have a couple days to get ready for this party which means I have to get my best suit and tie."

"Wait, we have to dress formal?" Sonic asked in surprise.

"It looks like it, and you're not refusing." Sally told her boyfriend which made him smile nervously. "Plus, I always wondered who was in charge of this country."

"You never thought about it one bit." Sonic muttered before getting off his seat. "Well, you guys have fun getting your formal clothes. I'm going for a run."

Sally grabbed Sonic's ear before he even took off. "You're getting a suit."

"Oh man." Sonic said in defeat without even looking at his girlfriend.

"Plus, you almost forgot to bring me along for your run."

Sonic snapped his fingers, picked Sally up in his arms, and said, "See you guys later." He took off saying, "You can let go of my ear Sal."

"I'll think about it." Sally joked which made Sonic groan as he ran off the property for his morning run. "We're also going to the store later to get me a dress and you a suit."

"Now I wish my suit from Knothole was here." Sonic muttered wishing Sally wasn't making him go shopping with her.

"How does she do it?" Amy asked Bunnie curiously.

"Ah've been wondering that for years." Bunnie told her honestly. 'Yeah right.' She thought before digging into her food

'Amy will find out soon enough.' Rotor thought before grabbing his fork. 'When she does find out, I hope she doesn't go after Sonic.'

"Admit it sis. We're not from this planet." A green hedgehog said as they walked through the forest.

"We're not lost." The pink hedgehog said back to her brother in annoyance. "I know that we're close to a city."

"Yeah right." The boy muttered rolling his eyes before following her out of the forest onto the street. He looked around and sighed when he saw a city not too far away. "You always have to be right about the stupidest things." He pulled his hover board out of his pack and asked, "Want to get a ride there or just keep on walking, because I'm not walking?"

The pink hedgehog sighed, "I wish we would travel like we use to."

"We'll find him, sis." The green hedgehog got on his hover board and reached his hand out for his sister. She grabbed his hand and let him pull her up onto his hover board. She put her hands on his shoulders and felt him take off towards the city. 'We'll find you Sonic. Once we find you, we can be reunited as a family again.'

"Ok, everything seems to be in order to attack, sir." Snively told his uncle as he looked over the list. "When are we going to attack the city?"

"In a few days Snively, we'll attack around then." Eggman told his nephew as he watched his fight with Sonic and Sally over and over. "I need the next attack to be flawless Snively. There are a few things that can happen that could ruin our plans of attack."

"Do most of them involve that hedgehog and his princess?"

"Well…they're in three of them right now. I might go up to four soon if another thought comes to me." He looked back at his nephew and sighed, "You know what Snively. You go ahead and have the rest of the day to yourself. I'll tell you about what flaws could happen tomorrow."

Snively looked at his uncle in shock and asked, "Why sir?"

Eggman frowned, "Snively, you can stop calling me that. I'm not exactly in the mood to think right now. Take what you can get before I change my mind and remember what you did to me in the past." He turned around and continued watching the video.

'I guess even evil geniuses need a break once in a while.' Snively thought before going to another room to work on something for his own benefit.

Eggman stopped the video and switched it to live video to see what was happening around the city. He looked at the calm city and glanced over to the left and sighed, "Nothing important for me to do today. The ship is almost ready for me to attack Sonic. I hope you're ready for me to destroy you." He laughed a bit at the thought until something came into view on the screen. He zoomed in closer on the things he saw and rubbed his chin when he didn't see anything there anymore. He shrugged it off and went back to watching the boring screen.

Later that afternoon, Amy and Bunnie were walking through the mall trying to find a store selling dresses that could fit them. "Ah don't know why weh have to wonder around just to find the right store." Bunnie said while looking around.

"I know what you mean Bunnie. Finding the right clothes would be easier back home, but hardly anyone here makes clothes our size." Amy told her friend.

'Weh could go to the kid section since weh're their height.' Bunnie thought irritably. She sighed and glanced at the closest clothing store. "Ah'll tell yah what. Let's just try a store out and see what they have."

Amy looked at the store Bunnie was looking at and sighed, "Alright, you win."

As the two girls walk into the store, the two hedgehog siblings walk through the mall one looking upset while the other is looking happily at the stores in the mall. "The first thing you want to do when we get here is to go shopping." The green hedgehog said with his left eye about to twitch.

"What do you expect us to do?" The pink hedgehog asked him curiously. "We have no leads on our brother, and the recent events prove that we don't need to hide anymore."

"I get that, but you don't see me wondering around stealing things from the people around me." The green hedgehog told her looking around cautiously hoping no one heard him.

The pink hedgehog sighed, "Alright, you got a point there." She looked at a store and smiled, "Unfortunately, I need new clothes to change into, and these clothes can only last for so long."

The green hedgehog sighed and waved her away. "Fine, you go take care of your shopping needs. I'll just go look around and see what's here." He walked away from his sister leaving her to do her shopping.

"Why do I have to do this again?" Sonic asked as he and Sally walked through the mall. "I know meeting the President is cool and all, but I rather stick with what I got."

"You only have shoes that were made for running." Sally reminded him.

"Your point?" Sonic asked raising an eyebrow at his girlfriend.

Sally sighed, "I want people to get a positive view on us Sonic. Plus, we might reveal our relationship to them too."

Sonic shrugged, "I can deal with our relationship going public. I don't care about the positive reviews though."

Sally gave Sonic a deadpan look and muttered, "Sure you don't."

"Hm?" Sonic turned his head away from her when he spotted something unusually green walk by. He looked at the the green thing and noticed it was a green hedgehog. 'No way, it can't be.' "Manic, is that you bro?"

Manic stopped in his tracks and turned his head around to see his brother Sonic standing there in surprise. "Well, what do you know? Sonia's little trip to the mall was useful after all." He said while walking up to his brother.

"How's it going man?" Sonic asked as they shook each other's hand.

"It'll be better now that we'll be back together as brothers and sister." Manic said releasing his brother's hand. "Plus, do you know how hard it was to even find you on this planet? It took us forever to even get clean."

"When was the last time you guys took a shower or a bath?" Sonic asked raising an eyebrow at his brother.

Manic chuckled, "We cleaned ourselves up at a lake a couple days ago. Phew." He waved his hand in front of his nose. "Sonia smelled really bad before that."

"I bet you were worse." Sally muttered to herself which caught the guys' attention.

Manic smile became a slight grin. "Well, who's the pretty animal you're hanging out with Sonic?" Manic asked elbowing his brother in the stomach for him to answer.

Sally crossed her arms unamused. "I'm Sally Acorn, and I'm your brother's girlfriend." She told Manic.

'Good thing I didn't hit on her.' Manic thought in relief. 'I do not want to face Sonic's wrath if I did.' He looked at his brother in surprise. "Dude, you got yourself a girlfriend? I didn't think you would actually settle down with someone."

Sonic and Sally look at each and chuckle at the comment. "Now, who said I settled down?" Sonic asked raising an eyebrow at his brother.

Manic put his hand up and shook his head. "Wait a minute. Your girlfriend loves going through dangerous situations like you do?"

"Yep." Sally said which made Manic look between them in surprise. "Surprised Sonic could get a girl like me as his girlfriend?"

"Who wouldn't?" Manic questioned. "I only hung with my bro. for a year until we were separated from an attack from Robotnik."

"This event leads me to be reconnected with Sally and the others." Sonic muttered feeling a bit bad that he was separated from his brother and sister.

"We'll talk about this later." Sally said interrupting their sad moment. "Right now, Sonic has to get a suit for a certain meeting in a couple days."

"I can't imagine seeing bro in a suit." Manic said as the three walked off to the store where Manic left his sister. He looked up at the sign and chuckled, "Well, it seems we're in luck bro. Sonia just happens to be shopping here."

Amy looked at a certain red dress that she was wearing at the mirror and asked, "Bunnie, does this dress look good enough?"

Bunnie looked at Amy and smiled, "Ah think yah look great darling." She grabbed a purple dress her size and smiled, "Ah think Ah got what Ah needed too."

"Wow, those dresses look really nice." A pink hedgehog said walking up to the two. The two look at the pink and purple hedgehog in surprise as she continued, "I know you guys are probably wondering who I am and how I'm here."

"Actually, Ah'm wondering why there's another pink hedgehog around." Bunnie muttered in surprise.

The new comer giggled, "Sorry, I'm Sonia the Hedgehog. I just happened to find this town and wanted to get some new clothes before continuing the search for my brother."

"Sorry to hear that." Amy said feeling sincere about the situation. "Is it okay if I ask who your brother is?" She asked curiously.

Sonia smiled, "Yeah, his name's Sonic. Sonic the Hedgehog is my brother."

"What?" Sally and Bunnie asked in shock.

"He never told me he had a sister." Amy muttered before looking at Bunnie. "Did he tell you guys about his sister?"

Bunnie shook her head. "Sugar-hog probably didn't have time to tell us." Bunnie answered truthfully.

"Why didn't he tell us?" Amy wondered in worry.

Sonia sighed, "It probably escaped his mind." She shrugged not knowing the real answer. "Plus, it's not like he would remember during the war against Robotnik."

"Well, weh should talk when weh get back to the mansion." Bunnie suggested trying to make sure Amy doesn't start asking questions.

"Hey sis, guess who I found?" Manic asked walking up to her with a grin on his face.

Sonia looked at her brother Manic and gasped when she saw her other brother Sonic. She ran up to her brother and pulled him into a hug. "You're here! I'm so glad that you're here." She said happily.

Sonic looked at his sister and smiled, "I'm glad you're alright too." He hugged his sister back and looked at Manic. "Let me guess. You guys need a place to stay."

Manic chuckled, "Yeah, could you help us out with that?"

Sonic gave his brother thumbs up. He looked at Sally and said, "Looks like something came up Sal. I won't be able to go."

"I'm not leaving you behind though." Sally told him honestly. "We're staying behind with your family."

Sonic let his sister go and shook his head. "No way Sal, you and the others need to meet this guy and talk about how we got here."

"Ah'll take care of it." Bunnie said resting her robotic hand on her chest. "Plus, Ah'm sure yah family would love to get to know yah girlfriend."

Sonia gasped in surprise. "You have a girlfriend!" Sonic slapped his hand over his sister's mouth and shushed her.

"Yes, I have a girlfriend." He told her quietly. "The country doesn't know that yet."

Sonia removed her brother's hand and whispered, "Fine, Manic and I are going with you guys to this important meeting."

"Could we talk about this somewhere else?" Amy asked as she finished looking at the dress she was going to buy. "We might start attracting attention since this is a woman's store."

Manic and Sonic look at each other then at the girls. "Later." They left the store in a hurry which made Sally growl in frustration.

"Sonic the Hedgehog, you promised to help me get the right dress!" Sally yelled which was heard through the entire mall.

"Oh yeah, I forgot." Sonic muttered as he and Manic walked through the food court. He shrugged, "It must have slipped my mind. Oh well, I guess she'll have to surprise me for the meeting."

Manic chuckled, "You did that on purpose."

Sonic smirked, "Maybe, but I didn't want to go through the dress shopping phase Sally and Sonia go through."

Manic nodded, "Yeah, I get what you mean there." The two brothers leave the mall and escape before the girls could get them to do something they didn't want to do.

Later that night

"It's so good to see you two again." Charles said hugging Manic and Sonia. He pulled back from the hug and looked at them curiously. "How did you guys get here? I thought we lost you guys after the big explosion."

Manic and Sonia look at each other then at their uncle. "To be honest Manic was able to use his powers to get down into the ground far enough for us to survive the explosion." Sonia said smiling gratefully at her brother. "Unfortunately, the left over debris covered our way out, and we couldn't get out until we found a secret way out a few days later."

"The bad part about the way we found is that we were in another city a good few hundred miles away." Manic said before sighing and running his left hand through his quills. "We wanted to get back quickly and rejoin with Sonic, but that's when things got complicated."

"We were lost and had no leads on where to go until a week before the bright light happened." Sonia sat down on the bed in the lab and sighed, "We were hoping to reunite with our brother and see if he found our parents."

Charles sat down in the work chair and crossed his arms. "Well, that explains your disappearance and how you got here. I'm glad you guys were able to survive the explosion. Sonic believed you guys were alive. He told me it was a gut feeling."

"Leave it to Sonic to believe in us." Manic muttered happily tossing the wrench in his hand. "Did he ever find our parents?"

Charles sighed, "No, he's been looking forever to see if he can find a lead to where they were roboticized and taken to. He hid almost all of the Robians, and I'm including myself."

"What's a Robian?" Sonia asked curiously.

Charles sighed, "A Mobian turned robot."

"Oooooohhhhhh." The two say in understanding.

"Anyway, Sonic's family wasn't the only one they were searching for either. They had gotten no leads on any of their parents except for Sally's father, but he's stuck in another dimension until a cure is found." Charles grabbed the letter from the president off the table and smiled, "I'm sure you guys know about Sonic meeting someone important."

"We heard something about it." Manic said sticking his pinkie in his ear to clean it out. "Doesn't mean I know why this person is important."

"He's in charge of the country." Sonia said giving her brother a dead-pan look.

Manic shrugged and chuckled, "Oh, Sonic sure knows how to take the spotlight from people."

Their uncle chuckled, "I'm not going to argue with you there, but we're meeting this man in a couple days."

"That explains his girlfriend dragging him around to find a suit." Manic said pointing out the window behind him.

"Sonic! You are going to get yourself a suit today, or I'll make sure your uncle helps you get one!" Sally yelled at her boyfriend.

Charles cringed at that. "I do need some nice clothes, but I do not need to have Sally force me to take Sonic along." He sighed at the idea of shopping with Sonic.

Sonic who was lying down on the tree branch with his hands behind his head looked at Sally and sighed, "Fine, you win, but you better not expect me to get something expensive or tight."

Sally smiled, "Good." She watched Sonic jump onto the ground and chuckled, "I'm going with you to make sure you get the suit instead of running off some place where you have nothing to worry about."

"You are one evil woman."

"You love me though." Sally said back before jumping into his arms.

'I hate shopping for clothes.' Sonic thought before taking off to a store to get a suit.

"Wow, I even had a hard time convincing Sonic to go shopping." Sonia said surprised by what she saw.

"That's because you wanted to do it all the time." Manic muttered giving his sister a dead-pan look.

Sonia huffed and crossed her arms. "Well, excuse me for wanting to look nice."

Charles chuckled and waved for the two to follow him. "I might as well show you guys around and have you guys meet the others."

A couple days later

"Why do I have to wear this?" Sonic asked his girlfriend as she finished tying the bow tie.

Sally giggled, "You already know Sonic. Plus, this will actually boost the positive thoughts of what people think of you."

Sonic smirked, "Well, if you put it that way…" Sally put her hand over his mouth and shook her head. Sonic sweat dropped. 'Right, she wants me to be a little civil not cocky.' He thought. 'The things I do for her.'

Sally removed her hand and smiled, "Just keep this in mind Sonic. If things go smoothly tonight, I might stop teasing you about children."

Sonic blinked then shrugged, "Ok, I guess I can live with that, but you have to tell them about our relationship."

Sally groaned, "Great, you know how to turn it around."

Sonic put his arm around Sally's waist. "Look at it this way. I have to behave during the whole thing. The least you could do is tell them about our relationship. I never said 'I would not help you out.'"

Sally blinks at Sonic's words and smiles at her boyfriend. "You really have got your way with words today." She kissed his cheek and whispers, "We better meet with the others."

Sonic sighed, "Yeah, we might as well."

Later that day the limo had pulled up in front of the Whitehouse. "They're here!" The man who orchestrated everything said.

The news reporters and journalists had already gotten set up outside and started to take pictures when everyone started to exit the limo. Amy and Bunnie came out first with Rotor and Tails following. "Wow, a lot of people showed up for this, huh?" Amy asked in amazement.

"Yah got that right girl." Bunnie said back.

Chris and his grandpa came out of the limo next and walked over to the left for the others to get out. "Wow grandpa, I thought more reporters would have shown up to this." Chris whispered to his grandpa.

Chuck looked at the group and said, "To be honest Chris, I'm glad that there are not many of them here. It would take up more room than wanted."

"Good point."

Charles came out of the limo next with Manic and Sonia following him. "Now, I want you two to behave. We do not want to make a bad reputation for Sonic and the others." Charles told them.

"Yes Uncle Chuck." They answered trying to feel calm about the situation they just walked into.

Sonic and Sally came out of the limo last holding each other's hand. They walk in front of everyone and smile for the picture being taken of them. 'Don't say anything stupid Sonic.' Sally thought.

"Hey everybody, I know you guys want to be taking pictures of me and the others, but may you let us through?" Sonic asked trying to keep himself calm from rushing into the building. "We have a lot more to do than just stand out here and pose for the pictures."

The man in charge had gotten through the reporters and clasped his hands together with a smile on his face. "Oh, I am so glad you made it Sonic. The President has been dying to meet you since you saved us from Dr. Eggman."

Sonic shrugged, "Eh, it was nothing."

Sally mentally sighed, 'He's right about one thing. Eggman isn't easy to take down, but that fight was not as hard as when our world was at war.'

The man looked at Sally and said, "It is also nice to see that your squirrel friend Sally made it as well."

Sally glared at the man and walked up to him slowly. "I'll say this one time. I'm a chipmunk not a squirrel." She whispered to him with venom coming off of each word.

The man nodded at that trying to not show his fear and said, "Anyway, I think it's time for you and your friends to come inside and join us for our feast."

"Now we're talking." Manic said rubbing his hands together and licking his lips in anticipation. 'Don't want to steal anything from here though.' He added as an afterthought.

"Right this way." The man said having his arms pointing down the red carpet.

"Alright, now let's get us some food." Chuck said before running down the carpet with Chris, Tails, Amy, Rotor, Bunnie, Manic, and Sonia following.

Charles chuckled at their enthusiasm then cleared his throat as Sonic and Sally walked down the carpet. He walked up to the camera crew and said, "Excuse me ladies and gentlemen; I hope I won't be wasting your time."

Everyone had turned their attention to Charles, and he watched the cameras closely. "Will you tell us how you know Sonic the Hedgehog?" One of the reporters asked.

Charles chuckled, "I might as well. My name is Charles the Hedgehog. I'm Sonic's uncle." Charles put his hand up before they started talking. "I would explain some more, but I think it would be better to do it inside instead of out here." He walked towards the building with the reporters following him. 'Don't screw this up you guys.'

"They're here Mr. President." Jerome Wise said walking into the dining room with an exciting smile on his face.

"Get out of my way." Manic said running past the man.

"Manic!" Sonia yelled running after her brother.

"How did those two pass us?" Chris asked as he and his grandpa came into the room. "I don't remember that happening."

"They are Sonic's brother and sister." Chuck muttered as the two got in their seats.

Sonia looked at her surrounding and gasped in surprise. 'Darn it. I really have been acting like Manic and Sonic instead of myself these past few days.' She got out of her seat and bowed at the crowd. "Thank you for having us, and I'm sorry for my attitude earlier. I seem to have picked up a couple bad habits from my brothers."

Manic leaned back in his seat and picked his teeth with a tooth pick. "Yeah right, I find that a bit hard to believe." Manic muttered which made Sonia glare at him.

Sonia glared at her brother and crossed her arms. "Don't start Manic."

"Mah stars, yah need to calm down Sonia-girl." Bunnie said as she walked into the room with Amy, Tails, and Rotor following her. "Weh're guests here."

Sonia sighed, "I'll try."

"Well, all of you guys seem like a good looking kind of animals." The President said as he walked up to the group that just walked in.

"Thank you Mr. President, and we're happy that you could have us." Amy said back politely with a small bow.

"Well now, I might know who Sonic is, but I might as well get to know his friends as well." The President said looking at the four of them then at Sonia and Manic.

"I'm Amy Rose."

"My name's Tails." Tails said pointing his thumb at his chest.

"I'm Rotor Walrus." Rotor said shaking the President's hand.

"Mah name's Bunnie Rabbit." Bunnie said with a smile creeping on her face.

Manic chuckled, "Well, my name's Manic, and this loud mouth is my sister Sonia."

"I am not a loud mouth!" Sonia yelled at her brother. She moved her hair a bit and crossed her arms. "Plus I can introduce myself thank you very much."

"I'll enjoy the day when you start paying attention to things that do not deal with clothes or being expensive."

Sonia sighed, "That day will never happen."

"How's it going guys?" Sonic asked while walking into the room with his girlfriend's around his. "I hope nothing important happened yet."

The President smiled at Sonic and stuck his hand out for Sonic to shake. "Good to finally meet you Sonic."

Sonic accepted the hand shake and smiled, "Nice to meet you too. I probably might not have come if it wasn't for my girlfriend Sally."

"I thought I was going to announce our together in front of the public?" Sally asked her boyfriend.

The President looked at them in surprise as he let go of Sonic's hand. "Sorry if this would offend you, but are you a chipmunk or a squirrel?" He asked curiously.

Sally giggled, "Don't worry I'm not offended, and I'm a chipmunk. At least you asked me about what I am unlike some people who keep making the same mistake."

Sonic felt his girlfriend's glare which made him gulp and smile nervously. "Anyway, I'm actually hoping to announce a few things for the public to know about."

The President looked at the two again and widened his eyes in surprise. "Oh, I see, but is it common for different species to get together?"

"Yes, it is actually. My mom's a chipmunk, and my dad's a squirrel." Sally answered honestly with a shrug. "Most species fall in love with their own kind, but there are a few exceptions here and there."

"So it isn't rare at all, huh?"

"No, it isn't rare." Charles said walking into the room with his arms crossed. He walked up the President and held his hand out. "Hello, Mr. President, my name is Charles the Hedgehog. I'm Sonic's uncle."

"Really?" The President asked in surprise. "Well, if you're his uncle, are his parents coming too?"

Charles sighed as the two shook hands. "It's complicated sir, and I rather not explain the whole situation either. It's too much to explain." He released the president's hand and looked at Sonia and Manic. "All I'll say is that those two hedgehogs at the table are his brother and sister."

"Well, this is truly getting interesting." Jerome muttered hearing everything that had just been told to the president. 'I'm actually glad this is going as planned. Now I don't have to feel so stressed about the president losing the re-election.' He thought.

After the feast

Charles stood in the middle of the room with the President and cleared his throat. "Hello ladies and gentlemen, I'm Charles the Hedgehog, and I'm glad that I could be able to make it to this ball." He said before looking at Sonic and the others. "As you can see I'm the oldest of the Mobians or animals as you think of us of everyone here. There are many good reasons for that, but I'll explain that later." He pulled out a small piece of paper and smiled, "I will say this though. We will give only small parts about our lives since the day is drawing to a close."

Sonic and Sally got up out of their seats and walked over to Charles. "The name's Sonic the Hedgehog. I'm the fastest thing alive from my planet and is planning on keeping it that way." Sonic said giving everyone his trade mark smile.

Sally giggled, "Well, I'm Sally Acorn, and I'm the strategic leader of the group. I am the best at hand-to-hand combat." She pulled NICOLE out of her boot and smiled, "This is my personal hand-held computer NICOLE. She's…"

Everyone watches as NICOLE digitalizes herself in the middle of the room shocking everyone in surprise. NICOLE looked around and smiled, "Hello, as Sally mentioned earlier I'm Nicole. I'm a AI that can control any computer or electronic that I am in distance to, but I only do it under Sally's orders."

"Well, it seems that there is more to you guys than I thought." The President muttered in surprise.

Tails got up from his chair and said, "Hello everyone, I'm Tails, and I specialize in creating machines especially planes. I am also able to fly thanks to my two tails."

Tails sat back down when Amy got out of her chair. "I'm Amy Rose, and I love stuff like any normal young girl would like. I am also able to make my weapon come out when I need it to." Amy smiled and sat back down.

Bunnie groaned at Amy's sentence and got up on her feet. "Ah might as well. My name is Bunnie Rabbit. Ah use to be fully Mobian until Dr. Eggman had captured meh. Ah rather not explain mah situation though." Bunnie crossed her arms and looked down. "Ah am able to fly thanks to my jets on my feet and turn my arm into a cannon to blast that stupid Dr. Eggman's base out of here."

Rotor got out of his chair and put his hand on Bunnie's shoulder. "I'm Rotor Walrus. Just like Tails I also specialize in machinery, but I am able to build the things without much of a blueprint. I might need the blueprint every now and then, but I'm a genius at building all types of machines." He sat back down with Bunnie doing the same.

Manic got out of his seat and chuckled, "The name's Manic the Hedgehog. I'm Sonic's brother, and I'm the youngest of the family. Unlike Sonic, I don't have super speed, but I am able control rocks in the way I like."

Sonia got out of her seat and smacked Manic on the side of the head. "I'm the mature one of the family. I'm Sonia the hedgehog, and the one trained enough to get by in the wealthy world. I don't exactly have powers like my two brothers, but I can do a couple of Sonic's attacks in battle. I have training in martial arts and super strength. I am also able to fight with a special weapon that mom and dad gave me at birth. Sonic and Manic don't have weapons though." Sonia said smirking at her brother Manic who shrugged in response.

"Anyway," Sonic said before Manic could retort, "there are only a few other Mobians here on this planet right now that couldn't join us."

"It isn't our business to tell you guys about their lives so…" Sally trailed off and looked at Charles.

"Now that you guys know a little about us, I'm going to say one thing. I'm a scientist, and I specialize in anything that is related to science." Charles told them. "Now, we would tell you guys more, but we're going to leave before the reporters start asking questions about us."

The four Mobians got out of their seats and leave the room along with Charles, Sonia, and Manic. Sonic and Sally turn their attention to the crew and smile. "What we're going to show you is one thing you wouldn't expect." Sonic said before turning to his girlfriend.

NICOLE dissolved back into the computer and whispered, "This is going to be interesting."

The two pull each other into a kiss right in front of everyone which shocks the reporters completely. They pull apart and look at the camera. "Later." They said before disappearing from the spot.

The Next Day

"I am not doing that again." Sally groaned as she lied against Sonic's chest.

Sonic, who is sitting on the couch, chuckles, "Well, I'm glad you agree with me about our thoughts on the event."

"Got the paper." Manic said as he walked into the living room where Sonic, Sally, Sonia, and Charles were at. "You guys wouldn't believe what they put up." He sat down on the couch next to his sister and showed them the front page.

Everyone looked at the page in surprise when they saw that the only picture was of Sally and Sonic kissing. "Is there anything more about us?" Sonia asked curiously.

Manic opened the paper up and muttered, "Let's see…Mentioning Amy is cute which is weird. They have an article about our family." He read over the article and chuckled, "They also said Sonia is a stubborn loud mouth."

"What?!" Sonia yelled grabbing the paper out of Manic's hands. She looked over the article and growled, "You have got to be kidding me! I am not a stubborn loud mouth."

Charles cleared his throat and took the paper from Sonia. He looked it over and sighed, "It seems our introductions were forgotten except for mine."

"That's good." Manic said with a shrug. "If you think about it some of those introductions weren't things people really wanted to know."

"Is that why you didn't mention you're a master thief?" Sonic asked raising an eyebrow at his brother.

"Yep."

Sonia rolled her eyes and sighed, "I'm going to play piano." She got off the couch and walked away to the room where the piano was.

Manic snapped his fingers. "I forgot. Did your AI really come out of your computer?" He asked turning his attention to Sally.

"Yes, I did." Nicole said while walking into the room with a tray of food in her hands.

"Whoa, you might be a computer program, but you are actually pretty cute." Manic said pointing at her. He gave her a wink before getting up off the couch and walking away.

Nicole watched the green hedgehog leave and raised an eyebrow. "He's the second one to me a compliment about my look."

"Who was the first?" Sally asked the AI.

"Sonic was."

Everyone looked at Sonic who shrugged, "What, she did look good. She wasn't my type, but she still looks good enough to actually seem real instead of what she is."

"Thank you Sonic."

Sally got up from her spot on Sonic and stretched her limbs. "Either way, it's nice to have Nicole be out here with us instead of staying inside my computer." She said before sitting back down right next to Sonic.

"Thank you Sally, but we got other things to worry about right now besides the public." Nicole said before making the holographic projection appear in the middle of the room. "Would you like to start Sir Charles?"

Uncle Chuck nodded, "As we can see, Eggman's base has fallen and is now a hunk of debris, but we know it isn't the end."

"No kidding, I know how he works Uncle Chuck. You don't have to put me through it." Sonic said with a shrug. "Plus, I like to push my possibilities without knowing what he's up to until he puts it into action."

"He built a new base that is able to float in the air but is in the water right now."

Sonic's carefree attitude changed immediately. "I see. Guess that means that he's trying to put an advantage on me." Sonic balled his hands up and smirked, "Let him come. It makes everything more challenging especially with Sonia and Manic around for him to worry about."

Charles sighed, "You're right about that."

"We only have one thing to worry about right now Uncle Chuck, and that's my brother and sister."

"Give me back my medallion!" Sonia yelled at Manic.

Charles sighed, 'Some things will never change.'

Bunnie looked up at the sky and smiled, "Well Sugar-Twain, things have been interesting without yah. Ah wish yah were here." She tipped her cowboy hat and looked down. "Ah'll find yah mom and dad. Ah promise it."

Rotor looked out the second story window of the shop and muttered, "Hey mom, dad, I hope you guys are doing okay. I know you're not alive anymore dad, but I can still hope." He looked at Chuck who was working on a blueprint for a specialized car. Rotor sighed softly and looked back out the window. "Anyway, I hope Skeeter's doing well. I love you guys, and I hope nothing bad happens to you guys while I'm gone." He smiles and turns around to get back to work.

Well, that wasn't the way I wanted it to end, but I'll go with it. Anyway, if you are wondering about pairings in this story, I will not be doing any pairings that deal with the same gender. That is all.

The story line might as well be explained. It goes like this:

1. Sonic grew up as a Freedom Fighter until he was called to do something along with his siblings Manic and Sonia. That means all of Sonic Satam had happened.

2. The Freedom Fighters had never found their families. This means Rotor did not go off to travel to find his mom and brother, Antoine didn't meet his parents, Sally's mom and brother are still MIA, and Sonic's parents are still Robians serving under Robotnik.

3. Knuckles has yet to even know about the story that has happened to his kind at this point.

4. The events with Sonic and his siblings had gone on for a year before the explosion had separated them, but Sonic and Manic were not given musical medallions making Sonia the only one musically gifted.

5. Sonic left the Freedom Fighters again a couple years after returning to them to chase after Dr. Eggman to see if he was gone. The events ended up taking three and a half years of his life before being reconnected with Sally.

I might as well mention nothing is coming from Sonic the Comic or from the first Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon except for Scratch and Grounder.

This is also the time for me to say that no one else except for the episode dealing with Knuckles will be coming into this story until season 2. The episode about Knuckles will have a small dealing going on with the Dark Legion. I can't wait till I get there. R&R
