So it's been a while since I wrote in here. Sorry about that. All in all, today's been pretty hectic, and after spending the better part of last night trying to call Mikey back with literally no luck at all, I'm even more worried. Something definitely happened. The T-Phones, to my knowledge, rarely drop calls so suddenly like that. It could be just an isolated incident, but it wouldn't continuously drop all other calls after it... Would it?
No. No, something is very, /very/ wrong.
On the up side, though, the supplies are still mostly intact. There's a lot of peanut butter, which I'm inclined to believe is Dogpound's fault or idea. Either he's always loved peanut butter, or somebody's having a dog's day. Haha. That also poses a problem, though, since apparently Baxter is allergic to peanuts, but we decided that any serious reactions can definitely be avoided. Along with that is pasta, food for the cat (Leo even brought Radar home a mouse, which is pretty darn adorable if I do say so myself), canned stuff (I didn't bother checking yet, I probably should), crackers, paper towels, and... fish food. Definitely a joke on Fishface, considering how Dogpound was laughing earlier and how downright pissed Fishface was at the same time.
I think he and Raphael might actually be hitting it off better than they were when we were trapped in Baxter's maze. I heard them agree on revenge earlier, but if it's anything other than another practical joke, then we're going to have a problem. We can't have any more serious fights here if we're going to get through this together. If I have anything else to say on the subject, it's that... well, it's pretty adorable. Cute. Uhm. It's definitely a good thing that they're getting along!
Radar's been pretty quiet lately. She only batted a bit at her new mouse, and has taken mostly to sulking around the lab and jumping onto my lap when I'm trying to work. I think she misses Mikey. I told her he'll come back soon, but I don't think she understands English, and my Cat-ish needs work. Trying to meow in a pattern a kitten will understand is hard work, and if her reactions are anything to go by, my accent is probably just as atrocious.
What a precious baby.
In general, things are... good. They're good, all things considered. Our base is stable and our supplies are restocked. But the world we live in... how long will it last?
