Chapter 14: Back to School

Throughout Kagome's morning she could not stop thinking about Naraku's return to school, she had no idea why he would even be in her class! He's a senior and she's just a junior. What is he thinking? As she walked down the stairs she was greeted by her brother, Sota. "Good morning," she smiled happily trying to hide her nervousness and thankfully her brother didn't notice. "Morning Kagome, heading to school?" He asked as he walked to the kitchen. "Yup! I'll see you later!" She shouted before bolting out the door, "well that was odd..." Her brother muttered to himself while sipping his morning coffee. Teenagers.

*Tap, tap*

*Tap tap tap tap tap tap*

"Kagome, are you alright?" Interrupting her trance, Kagome snapped out of it and her tapping on the desk ceased "o-oh, Miroku! Y-Yes, I'm fine. What's up?" She asked while taking a quick glance to the homeroom door. Miroku raised his brow, "are you waiting for someone?" He asked with a slight grin, Kagome glared at him "I am not. Where's Sango?" Attempting to change the subject, Miroku shrugged "no clue. She's ignoring me right now." He chuckled taking his assigned seat behind her, "what did you do this time?" She asked while rolling her eyes, Miroku gasped "are you implying I did something wrong?!" It was Kagome's turn to raise her eyebrow, "alright fine!" He sighed crossing his arms. "I was just talking to some girl innocently." He explained throwing his arms in the air.

"Were you really?" Kagome asked leaning forward while staring at him, Miroku's cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "That's what I thought, why do you do this to yourself Miroku? To her?! Don't you love her?" Miroku lowered his arms, "of course I do. I just can't help it when I see a pretty face." He winked and only received a slap on the head, "stop joking around monk. I'm serious. If you want Sango to bear your children in the future, you need to stop messing with her feelings." Miroku sighed once more and looked at his concerning friend, "I know. Alright Kagome, you win. You were always the peacemaker." He chuckled messing up her hair.

"Cut it out, Miroku!" She whined pushing his arm away, but she noticed she no longer held his attention. He was staring at something and then she felt it, chills spreading throughout her body. He's here.

Slowly turning around her blue eyes met with his crimson blood pupils, everyone in class stopped what they were doing and remained motionless with widen eyes. "W-What's he doing back here?!" A student blurted in terror, Naraku shot him a glare which silenced him instantly. Another brave student decided he wasn't going to be scared anymore, "you're not welcome here, devil." Kagome sighed and walked straight up to the demon startling the other students as she walked passed them. Standing in front of him, they stared at each other for a moment before she grabbed his hand; surprising him and the other students in the room. He kept a straight face and stared at the back of her head, "I saved your seat." She muttered leading him to the back of the room, he smirked as she stopped "you can let go of my hand now, Hi-gu-rashi-san." He teased, her cheeks turned pink as she quickly released him from her hold "s-sorry, I got carried away."

Naraku cocked his brow "it's quite alright, miko. Just don't let it happen again. Now you're vile scent is all over my hand." He scowled, Kagome glared at him and sat down in her assigned seat which was 3 desks away from his, this... this did not sit well with him. He stood up and caught up with her easily, he grabbed her wrist causing her to face him "what is this?" He asked with a growl, "w-what are you talking about?" He nudged his head towards the seat in the backroom, "you weren't specific." She explained glaring back at him all the while her dear friend, Miroku was just looking at them, back and forth. Naraku grunted and glanced at a tiger demon that was right next to Kagome's desk. "Move." He ordered hovering over him, "y-yes! Right away!" He bowed and quickly went to the back of the room, "h-hey! That wasn't nice." Kagome scolded yanking her arm but he was far too strong.

"You forget who you're talking too, miko." He narrowed his eyes at her.
"I do what I want," He reminded her and let her go before sitting down in his new seat.

Before Kagome could say anything their teacher walked in only to stop dead in his tracks, "N-Naraku." He stuttered with a cold sweat, Naraku simply waved with a smirk "good morning sensei. I apologize for my intrusion, but I'm on bodyguard duty." He explained boringly, Kagome looked at him astonished that he said that "bodyguard duty? I do not understand. Did Principal Miyoga approve of this?" He asked confused, Naraku shut his eyes for a second "I'm afraid, Principal Miyoga is unaware of this. However, I do not require his approval." He explained. "Is that so?" Their teacher muttered obviously not believing anything that he's said, "what is that monster even talking about?" A few students whispered amongst each other, but loud enough for anyone to hear. Kagome stood up instantly and glared at the group of girls "watch your tongue, neko." She warned causing the girls to squeal in fear and back up.

"What's her problem?"

"I don't know, but she's always been around him."

"Maybe she's his slave or worse, lover."

"Who could love a beast like him? That's disgusting."

Naraku swung his arm, straight swing and cut off a few of the girls ribbon from their uniform. He was glaring at them, mercilessly. If looks could kill, his would definitely. Kagome glanced at the demon, she had never seen him lash out like that especially over something so little as this. "Now, now students. Let's all just calm down. Naraku, you're more than welcome to stay today. But I assure you, this will be the first and last time you set foot in my class. I will not allow you to berate and frighten my students. Let's not forget; you are a senior not a junior. Are we clear?" Standing his ground the teacher did not break eye contact with the demon, "very." Naraku muttered with a grin.

Kagome kept a watchful eye on the demon as to make sure he doesn't try anything, he could sense her stare and looked at her "do not worry, little ningen. I won't destroy your homeroom. Yet." He chuckled evilly, "your jokes aren't funny." She spat turning her attention to their teacher as he began to teach the class, however no one seemed to care too much to listen. Naraku was the main topic today, Kagome couldn't wait for first period to be over she could hear whispers with her name and laughter, no doubt they're making fun of her for defending the devil, again. "Are you alright, Kagome?" Mrioku asked tapping her shoulder, she looked back at him and gave him a smile "I'm fine. You should be more concerned with your girlfriend." Kagome motioned glancing behind him for there was Sango looking outside the classroom window with her arms crossed. Miroku gulped and let out a sigh, "yeah..."

*ding*

"Eh?" Glancing at her purse hanging on her chair she grabbed her cell phone and stealthily flipped it upon under her desk, a group email? Clicking on the link her eyes widened for she came across a group chat with everyone in school.

THE DEVIL IS BACK! He's come back to kill us!

HOW CAN THE PRINCIPAL LET HIM BACK IN? HE'S DANGEROUS! A MURDERER!

I'm in class with him right now! That Kagome girl defends him. She's crazy, she must be brainwashed. Poor girl...

Yeah right! I heard she's in love with him!

GROSS! They should both disappear! We don't need them here.

YEAH! We need to do something...

Shutting her phone out of frustration she bit the bottom of her lip, something she tends to do when she gets flustered or nervous.

*ding*

Another group email? She thought flipping her phone open again, but there was nothing there.

*ding*

Glancing at her purse again she saw the phone Naraku had handed to her the day before light up, she looked over at him but he made no eye contact just staring straight uninterested in what the teacher had to say. She stared at him for a split second before grabbing the other phone and opened the text message.

Pay no mind.

Wench.

With an unamused expression she shut her phone and planned to ignore the devil for the rest of the day. Jerk!

First period was finally over and Kagome stood up quickly and had hoped to leave the classroom before Naraku, but she wasn't fast enough. He grabbed arm and kept her in place until everyone was out of the room. Miroku glared at the demon "are you going to be okay, Kagome?" He asked concerned, Kagome smiled "I'll be fine. I'll meet up with you and Sango." Miroku gave a wary look before leaving the classroom, "you can let go now." She mumbled but that just made him tighten his grip even more. She winced a little, "have you told off your loyal dog?" He asked coldly, "what are you talking about?" She asked looking up at him. "Your lover boy, he's waiting outside as we speak. Would you like to say hi?" He asked unamused, "Inuyasha is?" Looking at the door she saw a few strands of silver hair floating outside, "I... I told my brother I didn't need one. I swear it."

Naraku eyed her meticulously, her hesitation irritated him for some reason. He let her go, "let's go." He ordered and began walking towards the door with Kagome following behind him. As he ran his hand through his slicked back hair he halted, just for a second and Kagome's eyes widened for he grabbed her hand and began walking out. Naraku grinned as he swiftly walked pass the hanyou who was about to confront the devil, but stopped when a black-haired girl caught his attention, Kagome.

She hadn't acknowledged him, but he knew she was aware of his presence he saw just a glimpse of her face. Blushing?

Once they reached an empty hallway Kagome yanked her hand back, "what was that about?" She asked rubbing her hand. Naraku didn't bother to face her, "amusement, my dear." He chuckled looking behind him "come. We won't be attending second period." Kagome raised her brow, "what do you mean? Where are we going?" Taking a few steps toward him, "do not question me. Just follow my order." He told her, he stretched his right arm toward her "now, come." As if she was hypnotized she slowly reached for his hand and just like that, they were engulfed in miasma and disappeared.

In mere seconds they reappeared in what appeared to be a boutique in a different country, "w-where are we?" She asked looking around however she stopped when she realized she had her arm wrapped around his, quickly pulling away she put strands of her hair behind her ear "s-sorry!" She apologized taking a quick look at him, he had a straight face as usual and signaled her to follow him. As she did, Kagome looked at all the gorgeous dresses being displayed 'they all look expensive...' she thought to herself and stopped walking when she noticed Naraku stopped as well.

"Yuka, Ayumi, Eri." He beckoned.

Peeking from behind him she saw three young girls appear from the backroom wearing the same outfits (use your imagination) one had short brown hair, the second had medium wavy hair and the third had short black hair with a yellow headband. "Lord Naraku!" They bowed in unison, "what can we do for you?!" One of them asked only to notice Kagome, "ah! Will we be looking for an outfit for the girl standing behind you?" The middle one asked joyfully while the other giggled, Naraku glared at them and they remained silent "find her a dress, suitable for a high school dance. I don't care how much it'll cost." He ordered grabbing Kagome's wrist and pulling her forward, "h-hello." Kagome greeted with a bow, "you must be Kagome-chan!" They shouted gleefully grabbing both of her hands "how do you know who I am?"

One of them was about to explain, but shut her mouth when a dark figure with glowing red eyes hovered from behind the ningen. "We just know, now come! Let us find you the perfect dress!" Dragging her away from the demon they threw her into the fitting room and instructed her to wait while they gather some dresses for her to try on. Kagome was about to take a peek outside the curtain but the girls instantly appeared with a handful of gowns for her, "ready?" They asked in unison, stars in their eyes. Kagome gulped and simply nodded.

Meanwhile Naraku was hanging out in the waiting room lazily sitting in one of the leather loveseats. Yuka appeared before the dark lord and bowed, "thank you for being patient Naraku-sama..." Without an introduction the other two girls pushed Kagome out of the fitting room, standing before him she was wearing a rather big gown. It was an ivory color ball gown very princess-like, Kagome blushed as everyone was staring at her "well?" His voice interrupted her thoughts, she looked at him and began to rub her arm "I... I don't like it." She muttered, "it's too big. I can't even d-dance in this thing." She confessed, Naraku's brow rose and smirked "dance eh?" Without another word he waved his hand and the girls quickly brought Kagome back into the dressing room to change.

"Forgive us!" They bowed.

Kagome was confused as to why they were apologizing, but figured it had to do with Naraku. After all he can be quite frightening, "you don't have to do that! Please lift your heads." She pleaded softly, the trio glanced at one another before raising their heads "how about I tell you what I'm looking for?" Kagome suggested placing her hands on her hips with a smile, they simply nodded. "Okay then! I would like a classy, elegant dress. I'm open to any color really. I like beading, bling. Lastly, I think having a slit would be nice also. Not too 'hello pay attention to me,' you know?" The girls giggled and began to whisper amongst themselves, it only took them a few seconds.

Ayumi came forward and opened her hands "allow me to help you get out of that god awful dress." She winked, Kagome smiled and turned around while Ayumi helped her the other two sought out to find the perfect dress. "To think, Lord Naraku actually brought a woman to our little boutique all the way out here." Ayumi muttered happily, Kagome glanced back at her "what do you mean?" The young girl covered her mouth as if she spoke too much, "well... Lord Naraku is not the type to accompany the women he sends to us. This would be the first, it's also been a very long time since we've seen him. The last woman he asked for us to dress was Lady Kaguya..." (If you don't remember, Kaguya was the first and last human he fell in love with, I forget what chapter).

Kagome was silent, "I'm sorry Kagome-chan I didn't mean to make you sad." Shaking her head, she regained her composure, "don't worry about it. It was a long time ago, thank you." Ayumi nodded and left the fitting room to put the dress away. "Kagome-chan, may we come in?!" Yuka asked, "yes!" As soon as Kagome answered the two girls came bursting in with a very beautiful dress, Kagome was speechless. "Would you like to try it on?"

"Of course! It's gorgeous!" The trio smiled happily as they began to assist her.

Stepping out of the fitting room Kagome saw that Naraku had his eyes closed, "are you sleeping?" Kagome asked crossing her arms, Naraku opened his eyes ever so slowly and although he did not show it he was quite taken back.

Standing before him was the most beautiful woman he's ever laid his eyes upon, Kagome was wearing a full-length gown. Beaded v-neck with a sheer A-line chiffon slit backless grey dress, the girls had Kagome's hair up into an elegant bun and even added a small tiara. Kagome felt her face heat up from his gaze, "what do you think?" She asked breaking the silence as she twirled a little, having a little fun. Naraku smirked and stood up, surprising her as he approached her leisurely, "what is it?" She asked taking a step back. He hovered her like a cat cornering his prey, he raised his right arm with his hand open. Kagome eyed him suspiciously but slipped her slender hand into his, he chuckled and with a swift tug had her pressed against his body. Her face, instantly red and he found it quite amusing.

Without saying a word, he placed her other hand on his shoulder "you dance?" Kagome asked astonished, Naraku looked down at her "your words wound me, ningen." He teased as he began to lead her, the trio were in awe as their hands clasped together and just watched as they began to dance. Kagome was definitely impressed, she couldn't help but smile as he twirled her around and was brought back to into his arms. As they swayed side to side, Kagome gazed into his crimson eyes and the first thought that came into her mind was how every time she spent time with this man. She knew, knew deep in the pit of her stomach she never meant to fall for him, but she was one hundred percent certain, she was irrevocably in love with him.

Before she realized, they had stopped dancing and he was - he was glaring at her "are you an idiot?" He asked letting her hands go and fall to her side "what?" She asked confused, "I am incapable of love. Yet here you are, confessing your undying devotion to me." He snarled, Kagome scoffed "just because you read my mind does not mean I am confessing to you. You need to get off your high-horse, Naraku. I may have feelings for you, but I'm not trying to force you to do anything. I was just going to keep it all to myself, but you had to go and read my mind? What happened to privacy?!" She shouted while poking at his chest repeatedly, "I was... I was going to just keep this all to myself!" She whispered.

For some strange reason Naraku was bothered that she was bothered, he clenched his fists until they turned white. They stood there in silence for a minute or two, "Yuka." He called and she stepped out of hiding "y-yes sir?" Without even looking at her as he could not find himself to look away from the woman standing in front of him, "I'll take this dress." He muttered flicking his black card at her, Yuka happily nodded and hurried away with the other two girls to ring them up. "You're really not going to say anything?" Kagome sighed looking up at him, "what would you like for me to say?" He asked this time he was the one to look away, "Oh I don't know, how you feel about me, anything..."

Naraku cringed when she spoke about feelings, he felt his chest pulsate but he showed no waver "are you deaf? I do not feel anything, all I know is darkness and hatred." He explained with a growl. Kagome shook her head, "liar. I may not be able to read your mind but I know there's something there. Somewhere in that empty chest of yours." She proclaimed before taking a step back, "now if you'll excuse me. I'm going to change out of this dress." Turning on her toes she headed towards the fitting room with Ayumi and Eri following after her, Naraku sighed and ran his hand through his hair "stupid girl."

"That was quite a scene, Kagome-chan!" Ayumi squealed as she unzipped the dress, Kagome blushed "w-what do you mean? We were just talking..." She trailed off, Eri smiled "whatever you say, Kagome-chan."

Once she was dressed, Kagome exited the fitting room and looked around and found Naraku at the counter finishing up the purchase. "Thank you for your purchase, Naraku-sama! Please, come again!" Yuka smiled with a bow. "Deliver the dress in a couple days," he told them as he signed the receipt. Kagome managed to glance at the little slip and her eyes widened "$2,000 dollars?!" Naraku didn't bother to look at her, he just finished signing it and began to walk towards the exit with Kagome following after him "y-you don't need to buy me this dress! It's far too extravagant for me to wear!" She explained hysterically, but was silenced when Naraku turned around and looked down at her "the cost is nothing to me, stop talking. Besides... You were able to dance in it, were you not?" He questioned with a smirk.

"Yes." She answered softly.

"Good. Now, let's go. We've already missed two periods." He chuckled as miasma once again began to consume them, "TWO PERIODS?!" She shouted before they disappeared.

"Lord Naraku has his hands full with this human." Yuka giggled with the girls joining in.

*School*

*cough* "Is there a better way of getting to places, your miasma is unpleasant." *cough*

Coughing a couple more times Kagome stopped waving the air when she noticed everyone staring at them, they had appeared during lunch time in the middle of the cafeteria. "Crap." She sighed fixing herself up, "look! She's with the devil again." A few students gossiped while others said some rude comments, Naraku simply looked at a couple students to shut them up with fear. "Eyesores." He scowled before walking towards the double doors that led to the outside courtyard. Kagome watched as he walked away she was about to chase after him but heard someone calling her from the crowd, "S-Sango!" Kagome murmured with a short smile.

"Where have you been? I've been worried sick! Did he do anything to you?! Are you okay?!" Sango asked feeling her forehead, Kagome laughed and swiped her friends hand away "I'm fine Sango, he didn't do anything. We went... shopping." She explained with pink cheeks, Sango was stunned "shopping? Him. That guy over there?" She asked pointing at the direction he had walked, Kagome laughed "yes, him. Now can we have lunch now? I'm starving." Sango let out a snort but nodded "alright. Let's go, Miroku saved us seats. Oh! Before I forget, Inuyasha has been looking for you... I'd be cautious if I were you." Just hearing his name gave her chills, "thanks for the warning."

Meanwhile, Naraku stood in the middle of the courtyard he was staring at his right hand and began to recall holding the mikos as they danced. He closed his hand and growled "how annoying, have you come to lecture me?" Looking over his right shoulder he found the principal smiling at him as he held his hands behind his back, "of course not!" He muttered throwing his hands up. Naraku glared at him, "what do you want?" He asked on his guard, their principal simply smiled as he approached the demon "I see you've been spending quite some time with Kagome."

"What of it?" He snarled.

"Oh nothing, just letting you know I've noticed your friendship I should say. Do continue to care for her, will you? I am aware of the situation she is in, the Shikon No Tama is both fascinating and dangerous." He explained before patting him on the shoulder and walking away, once the principal was out of sight. Naraku wiped his shoulder "I don't need you to tell me."

"Tell you what?" The demon caught off guard and reached out for whoever had the nerve to sneak up on him only to stop just a centimeter from her face. She grabbed his hand and lowered it just a little "is everything okay?" Naraku grimaced at her concerning words and then the sound of the bell interrupted their quiet moment, he withdrew his hand from her grasp. She furrowed her brow and a small smirk played on her face, "well... it's time for fourth period." She sighed and began to head back into the school building only to pause "come on bodyguard," Naraku shut his eyes and let a chuckle out and began to walk by her, as he did he tugged on her hair and narrowed his eyes at her "I don't recall allowing you to order me around, wench." Kagome smiled and followed after him.

Throughout the day, Kagome kind of zoned everyone else out when they'd see the devil in the classroom. The principal actually came into every classroom and informed the teachers that he's allowed to be there for Naraku is to accompany Kagome to every class due to her condition with the jewel. Of course the students were not too thrilled about him joining the class, but in the end there was nothing they could do about it and no one dared to confront Naraku in the first place. After that everything was just a blur, Kagome actually hadn't seen Inuyasha which was a relief. Sango and Miroku assured her that if he ever bothered her they would take care of it, Kagome believed Sango not so much Miroku who felt quite insulted, the girls would just laugh at him while Naraku sat there quietly as ever.

*After School*

"I'll see you guys tomorrow!" Kagome waved before heading to her car, "look it's the devil worshipper." She overheard a couple students mutter laughing at her, Kagome paid no mind and kept walking that is, until she saw her car. It was covered in saran wrap and on the side of her car was a nasty message, "go to hell bitch!" Kagome sighed and blew a strand of her bangs out of her face, "perfect." Finally reaching her car she began to remove the plastic wrap and had to admit she was having a difficult time and could hear people laughing at her as they just stood by and watched. "Need help?" Kagome froze, she recognized that voice. It was a voice she did not want to hear, "of all times you show up. It has to be this time, Inuyasha." He ignored her comment and began to rip the plastic off in seconds, astonished Kagome shut her gapped mouth "t-thanks, you didn't have to you know."

"I know I didn't have to, Kagome." He muttered while crossing his arms with an annoyed facial expression, "what?" She asked glaring at him, not in a hateful way though.

"Oh nothing. Well, see you around." He waved and began walking away, Kagome raised her brow "that was odd." Whispering to herself she unlocked her car, shut the door once she was in and turned it on. Before she could move it into drive her black phone rang, she immediately flipped the phone open "hello?"

"I'm impressed. You picked up right away," he chuckled.

Kagome rolled her eyes, "how can I help you?" She asked with an unamused tone. "8 o'clock tonight, come to the castle. Don't be late." He muttered calmly and just like that, hung up on her. A bit taken back she stared at the phone for a minute before closing it and putting it in her bag. "Demanding as ever." She whispered to herself and began to drive home, unaware that Kikyo had been watching her for quite some time before walking away from the tree she was hiding behind.

Kikyo threw her backpack on her bed before laying on it herself, she began to recall the image of Inuyasha helping her cousin in the parking lot. No matter how many times she's nagged him or how many times Kagome had told him to leave her alone he just can't seem to stay away from her, and that really pissed her off. He has her now, so why? Why does he do this?! Grabbing her phone, she stared at her home screen, it was photo of them kissing on their first date. Granted it was behind her cousins' back, but she was happy. Unlocking her screen she pulled up Inuyasha's name, he had sent her a text message a few minutes ago.

Where did you go? I was looking for you after school. You're not mad at me, are you?

Of course I'm mad you, you idiot, she thought to herself. Letting out a sigh she began to ponder a reply.

I'm fine. I just went straight home after school, sorry. I felt exhausted today. I'll see you at school tomorrow.

Exhausted? What happened? Can I come over?

Now he's worried about me?!

Nothing happened, Inuyasha. I'll see you tomorrow. I don't want to see you right now.

Inuyasha spit his soda out after reading her last message, "I don't want to see you right now? What the hell is wrong with her?" Wiping his mouth he began to furiously text her.

What do you mean you don't want to see me? What did I do this time?
Ya know what, don't answer that. I'm coming over whether you like it or not! See you in 10 minutes!

Kikyo immediately sat up, he's coming over right now?! She got off her bed and looked at herself in the mirror, fixing her hair. As soon as she finished brushing her hair, everything went dark and standing behind her in the mirror was Tsubaki. "Y-You!" Kikyo yelled turning around to face the white-haired woman, "indeed. Before your half-breed boyfriend gets here, I wanted to speak with you about an important matter." She cooed floating effortlessly around her bedroom. Kikyo cautiously walked towards her bed and sat down, "what did you want to talk about?" She asked nervously, Tsubaki was in the middle of admiring photos on the miko's dresser, "where to start?" She asked aloud before turning around "is it about my cousin?" Tsubaki raised her brow with a smile, "of course it's about your cousin. Why else would I be here." Glaring at her, Kikyo lowered her head "now then… I'm sure you're already aware of Naraku returning. He's gotten quite strong since his absence, starting tomorrow we will begin training you, it'll be more intensive. Be prepared. The dark magic isn't child's play, I will break you. Do you hear me?"

"Y-Yes, I understand." She nodded, but soon their conversation was interrupted by the sound of a car door opening. "It would seem your precious hanyou arrived a lot quicker than I anticipated. How devoted her must be, to you." Tsubaki teased with a chuckle, Kikyo looked away "hardly." She whispered and before she knew it, the witch was gone and light again. She heard a knock from downstairs and took in a couple deep breaths before heading down, "you got here quick." She murmured trying to act normal, Inuyasha being keen as ever… Read right through her. He observed her and noticed she was looking at him, she usually did that when something was bugging her and it usually had to do with Kagome. He sighed, "come here." Grabbing her arm he pulled her into an embrace, something she definitely was not expecting.

"What are you doing?" She asked, surprised.

"What does it look like I'm doing? I'm trying to comfort my girlfriend!" He told her, tightening his embrace just a little. Kikyo didn't say a word, she smiled with pink cheeks and snuggled into his neck "thank you, Inuyasha." She whispered softly, Inuyasha glanced at the back of her head "I love you, Kikyo. I hope you know that, it's always been you."

"I know. I love you too, Inuyasha."

How's that for an ending?! I know you all just love Kikyo! Haha, jk. Well I hope you enjoyed and special shout out to all my readers that have been VERY patient! LOL! Hopefully I won't take too long to update the next chapter! Bye for now! ALSO! If you haven't noticed I've uploaded a cover image for my story, I had a commission done to show exactly how Naraku and Kagome look through my eyes! :) The artist did a splendid job!
