I continued flying until I got to Washington DC. When I got to the Hall of Justice, I landed at the foot of the steps. Before I could go in though, I felt something off, like there was a twing in the back of my mind. Ok, something tells me that I shouldn't go in there….or it could be the start of a head ache.

Or both.

I grabbed my head out of shock and looked around quickly. That thought wasn't mine. It didn't even sound like me. Am I going crazy?"

No, you're not.

The voice was familiar, and I was surprised to recognize him especially after only having talked to him a couple of times. Superboy?

Yeah. We'll explain later. Just fly off as if nothing is wrong. Meet us in the alley at the corner of Frankfort.

Um….ok. I couldn't believe what was happening. I was talking to someone in my mind. Well, at least it was Superboy. Maybe he knows what's going on. I flew off into the sky and then made my way to the city. I landed in a big alley that sat on Frankfort Street. It was a short cut from the park of the Hall to the mall. I would know because the guys and I hung out there a few times. I got to the alley and saw Superboy with a familiar girl with red hair, actually too familiar. I came up to them and said out load, "What is going-"

We can't talk out load, we could be watched.

It happened again, all in my head. So what, am I just supposed to think something and you can hear me?

Yes. And he nodded.

How?

A feminine voice came into my head. Mind link.

I blinked and looked at the girl next to him. The reason she was familiar suddenly clicked. M'gann?

Yes. And she nodded.

I realized the only reason I didn't recognize her was because she was Caucasian. I could slap myself. How could I forget Martians could shape shift?

Is that a trick question? She asked.

Oh, sorry, I'm not used to the whole mind link….which I'm guessing is you as well. She just nodded again. Ok.

Look. Superboy said. Can you go civilian?

Why?

We got to go through the city to M'gann's hidden ship. We can't be spotted as heroes now.

I let my ring make my suite disappear and replace it with a jeans and a light fabric long sleeve shirt. I shivered. I was not prepared for this weather.

Don't worry, Megan said. It won't take long to get to my ship.

You have a ship? Cool. As we walked down the streets, passing people on our way to where M'gann hid her ship, Superboy explained everything that was going on. After he was done, I said, So let me get this straight? The whole League is under the mind control of Vandal Savage and he used Roy, who is actually a clone subconsciously mind controlled, as a pawn to do so. Now Vandal is using the League against us as he infiltrates the Watchtower for some reason.

Yes.

Oh man….what about Roy? Did you find him?

Yes. But he's not taking the whole news of being a clone very lightly. But honestly it's not a big deal.

You only say that because you're a clone. We didn't say, or think, anything else until we got to an empty parking lot surrounded by a construction site. But it's empty, where is your ship? As if on cue, a small and red, alien like ship suddenly appeared as if it had been invisible the whole time. Wait, it was invisible!

Yeah. M'gann said excited. She has a cloaking feature.

Sweet. I didn't ask about the she thing. I mean, Hal calls planes she's all the time. A door at the back of the ship opened like a hatch and we walked in. The inside had walls of blue and a space to walk around in the middle. It felt small though, compared to the Interceptor. But there were some recognizable feature like the pilot seat towards the back of the ship. To the front was a panel that went around to the side, and….there were no chairs. "Um," I said out loud, "Where do we sit?" Suddenly some chairs popped out of the floor with a sucking sound. I jumped back a bit. "That is spooky."

"She's organic. A Bio-ship." M'gann said, taking a seat at pilot and potting her hands on some orbs that might have been the steering. "And since we're connected, she reads what I need and she does it."

"Wow. So she's alive. That's cool." I took a seat to the far left. It sort of made me sad, especially since I usually took a seat on the left or the front when we still had the Interceptor. Memories…

What?

"Ah!"

I looked back at Superboy who said that through mind link. I think I'm going to have to get used to being careful what I think when you guys are in my head.

"It's ok," M'gann said. "It takes a while. But I'll disconnect the mind link for now." Once she did, the Bio-ship took off into the air and we made our way to wherever.

"Hey. Where are we going anyway?"

"Star Labs." M'gann said. "That's where the rest of the team is."

"Why there?"

"Because they're coming up with some cure tech that can stop one from being controlled by a starro chip and be prevented from getting controlled again. We have some scientist who we helped before that are working together to come up with a way to do so."

"Cure tech?"

"Like a vaccine for the starro chip that's been planted in the League."

"Starro chip? Wait? Is it silver with red markings?"

"Yes."

"Oh my gosh! That's what Icon, Fate, and Marvel were trying to give me."

"But you managed to not get infected."

"You sound like you already know that."

"We do." Conner said. "Tornado told us to stay off radios and disconnect with anything the League can use to track us. But Robin found a way to know what's going on by hacking into video feeds. About an hour ago Robin showed us a clip of you fighting them and then escaping from the hanger. Robin knew you would head straight to the Hall so he had us come and get you before you went in. Who knows what Leaguers would be there to attack you."

"Thank you guys." We got to Star Labs an hour later and Conner told me to suite up. When I felt the ship land on the helicopter landing on the roof, I got up and let my GL suite appear and I made my mask over my eyes. M'gann also changed her outfight, or at least morphed it. Her skirt was replaced by a white shirt with a red X on her chest. A blue dry fight skirt with a matching cape. Her skin went from Caucasian to green. I looked to Conner to see if he would change, but then I remembered that he never does. We got out and we went down some stairs that lead us from the roof to the top level. We got down a white hall you would normally see in a hospital, but when you looked in the room you didn't see med beds or anything of that sort. Instead there were people in lab coats standing by tables full of test tubes and more science stuff. Yeah, Science. Not my forte, that's why I'm not going to try and see what else in in here.

We got to a room like all the others we passed and when I got in, I gasped at the amount of people. I saw first the whole team in their uniform, and my eyes landed on the girls since I hadn't seen them in their uniform in person. Artemis was in her full green outfit which was pants and a top that didn't cover hear stomach. She was the only girl with a mask. Zatanna was in a female version of a black magician suite and a bow tie. And Raquel was in her brown jumpsuit as Rocket.

There were other people like a short blond haired woman with glasses wearing a lab coat, as well as an African American woman with brown hair. There was a tall woman with long red hair wearing a golden like crown and a shot green dress. She, and an older guy with grey hair almost bald and red suite, were barefoot and had fins on the back of their legs. I wanted to take a gander at who these people were but suddenly a yellow flash came up next to me and I saw Kid Flash's worried face in front of mine. "Hey! You're ok!"

"Yeah, I'm fine."

Soon, Aqualad and Robin joined in around me. The Atlantian said, "We're glad to see you're fine."

"Thanks guys. And thank you Robin for sending on some help."

"I couldn't leave you hanging. Especially since Dr. Fate was of them."

"He wasn't much of a hassle. I blew him into his own trap, literally."

An older voice said, "Kal- I mean- Aqualad." I looked over to see the grey haired almost bald man say, "We need you to come over here and look over something."

"Yes Vulku." Then Kaldur motioned for me to follow him. "You must come meet some friends of ours." I nodded and followed him. He looked to the two human woman and said, "This is Doctor Spence of Cadmus and Dr. Roquette from Star Labs."

"But I thought Cadmus was a big no-no to go to."

Superboy passed us from behind to join the team grouping up on one side of the room. He said, "That's exactly what I told him."

Spence shook her head and muttered, "Teenagers."

Roquette said, "At least you didn't have to have them in your head."

"Sounds like you had it rough." I said to them. They just rolled their eyes but smiled.

Kaldur commented on what Superboy had said, "We need all the help we can get. That's why I brought some from Atlantis." He looked over to the old man and said, "This is Doctor Vulku, head of research projects done in our science facilities."

Vulku extended a hand, "You must be Young Lantern, one of those who fights among the stars."

"Wow, poetic." I shook his hand. "You can say it that way."

"And this is Queen Mera." Aqualad said, putting a hand over his chest in a salute.

I looked at the tall, red haired lady with the crown. That explains a lot. "Qu-Queen Mera. Oh, sorry." I put a hand over my chest like Kaldur did. "Your Majesty."

Queen Mera chuckled and bowed. "It is an honor to meet you, Young Lantern. I have finally met all of Aqualad's Earth friends."

"Not all of them, my Queen." Kaldur said as a joke.

"I have to get to know them. I need to make sure my student is happy in the surface world."

"Not when you're with child, my queen." Vulku said as he and the other scientist were looking at a hologram of something that project from the display table.

Mera huffed and crossed her arms. "Honestly, Vulku, you sound like my husband."

"You're pregnant?" I asked excited. I started to hover a bit over the ground. "Congratulations." Aqualad raised an eyebrow at how I was acting. I looked at him and said, "What? I can get fussy over babies. Babies are adorable."

As we left the Atlantians and scientist to come up with cure tech, the team and I sat in a well-furnished room. As everyone chatted about something that wasn't of my knowledge, I looked around for a certain eighteen year old red head. He's in the cafeteria. M'gann said suddenly popping into my head. I looked at her shocked for a second as she gave me a nervous frown. Then I said, It's ok. And thank you. I'll be right back.

A.N: Extra-long and sweet for you. So this is a behind the scene look of what I thought went on with the cure tech making things and the scientist that came together. Also yes Mary worried for Roy and now she knows what's going on. Also she's finally getting used to all the cool things like the Bio Ship. Interceptor though guys, RIP.
