The First Date

I look over to the door and listen for a knock but a knock during lunch is not likely. I get up and head to the shower. I finish with my shower and get out. I get black pants on and I sit on the bed and pull out a soda. I pop it open and I drink from it. I should head to base after school is over. I need to have Zero look at the schematics I have on my laptop but I should make a backup on a flash drive. I walk over to the desk and sit down pull out the laptop and the flash drive. I put in the flash drive and put all the data of the schematics onto the flash drive. I lock the flash drive with a passcode that I will tell Zero. I go over and put the schematics into a file that I put a passcode and a hand of cards to keep unwanted people out of it. I also put a passcode to keep people from even getting to the desktop. I pull out the flash drive after the data finished downloading.

I put it the flash drive in my pocket and shut down my laptop. I grab my soda and drink it down. I should disappear from my room soon because schools almost over. I get up and put on a white shirt and a dark blue jacket. I head out of my room and lock it. I head out of the clubhouse and sneak my way out of ashford academy. I step out of the gates and looked back to see Milly looking around outside the clubhouse. She's looking for me and I better disappear before she notices me I said. I left the gates at a jog for the base.

I head down the stairs and arrive at the base. Rai your early today Ohgi said coming over. Well I snuck away from school alittle early I said while we were walking along. Rai did you get any sleep last night Ohgi asked. Sleep oh no I got none because I was working on narrowing down places my opponent could be hiding and I worked on some things that I want to show Zero before sending it to a contact of mine that will make all of the things into reality and help the rebellion I said. So you spent the entire night working so not a single wink of sleep Ohgi said. Yep not a single wink but I have the data on a flash drive which I have in my pocket I said.

Tamaki comes over and says You look like you got no sleep Rai. Jeez thanks Tamaki for reminding me about that I said. Whoa you mean you didn't get any sleep last night sorry Tamaki said walking away. So Ohgi is Zero here yet I asked. No I don't think so I haven't checked since I got here about one hour ago Ohgi said. Thanks for telling me Ohgi I said. Well Rai I have to get back to work Ohgi said running off. Well I should as well check if Zero is here at this moment I said. I head to cc and walk in and look around.

Well Rai what are you doing here said C.C coming down the stairs. Well C.C is Zero here yet I asked. No not yet Rai why do you ask C.C said. Its about something I worked on from 6:30pm to noon today I want to show to Zero I said. Hmm sounds like something Zero would be interested in seeing on that work C.C said. I have it if your wondering C.C I said sitting down. Well you seem to be falling into the hard worker who doesn't get much sleep type of person like Zero C.C said. Really he doesn't get much sleep well I didn't get a single wink of sleep last night I said. Yeah I can tell that you have had no sleep C.C said.

Zero walks into the cc and sees me and C.C talking to each other. Rai what are you doing here so early Zero asks walking to his seat and sit down. Well I snuck off the academy campus so I could come here to talk to you I said. Why do you want to talk to me about Zero said. Well Zero I spent from after dinner to noon today working on some things I want you to confirm before I send them to my contact to have them developed I said. So why is the data I don't see a laptop with you Zero said. I have a flash drive on me which contains the data I said pulling the flash drive out of my pocket.

So this contains the data Rai Zero said taking it. Yes it does Zero and the passcode to unlock it is gtx12-345 I said. Well I check it out right now Zero said pulling a laptop out from a pocket in the seat. Zero puts the flash drive in and enters the passcode. Zero scrolls through all the schematics I designed. These are all pretty damn good Rai Zero said leaning back. Thanks Zero I spent a long time on those I said. How long did you spend creating these Zero asked. I spent from after dinner to noon today creating them I said. That long for these schematics and you didn't get any sleep from the looks of you Zero said. Yeah not a single wink of sleep I haven't had that happen since well a past problem which is going to come back I said.

So what did you want to do with these Rai Zero asked. I want to send these to our friend who is already creating equipment for the rebellion I said. You want to send this data to M.M Zero said. Yes that's what i'm saying Zero I said. That's seems like a good plan Rai you can send it to M.M Zero said handing me the laptop. I put all of the data into a file and send it to M.M. Its done Zero M.M will be getting all the data now I said.

I have one question for you Rai Zero asked. What's that Zero I said. Its about the laser weaponry that was incorporated in the schematics Zero said. Oh yeah that's understandable since the book was about a theory of Britannia laser weaponry but every attempt they tried to make any laser weapons all blew up I said. How did you get a book like that Rai Zero asked. You probably don't want to know since I got it pretty dirty but I didn't get it one of my contacts sent it over here from Britannia homeland and he got it by killing a entire base of guards at night and killed the researcher that wrote this book and then he ran out of the base before the base went up in a explosion I said. Your right that was quite a way getting it Zero said.

Yeah the book was quite intriguing and the other was the theory of mass protection it also was intriguing I said. Rai are you gonna ramble on about random things Zero asked. No i'm not gonna ramble Zero because I probably don't have enough energy to ramble I said. Well you are tired Rai go rest Zero said. Thanks Zero for listening and looking at the data I said leaving the cc. I walk to my room and enter the room. I sit down on the bed and look back at what I did for the last 22 hours.

I lay down on my bed and close my eyes. I hear a knock at the door and I answer it. Rai where have you been Kallen said walking in. Well if your talking about why I wasn't at school I was working on some activities for the rebellion I said. What are these activities Rai Kallen asks sitting down on the bed. One of the activities is narrowing the hideouts my opponent can be hiding in. Another is which I created schematics of weapons for the rebellion which took all last night to noon today and I had to put all of the data on a flash drive from my laptop at the academy then put a passcode on the file and lastly I put a passcode on the laptop plus a hand of cards I finished. So you haven't had any sleep for the past 23 hours Kallen said. Nope I haven't Kallen I said.

I really worry about you when you disappear or don't come out of your room Kallen said. I'm sorry Kallen I don't mean to worry you I said. I know you don't Rai but its that you always work Kallen said. How about tomorrow we take the entire day off and head into the city for the day I said. Sure Rai let's do that also since there's no school tomorrow its a good idea Kallen said blushing a little. Well Kallen the time is five in the afternoon we should head back to ashford I said. Yeah I just came here to see if you were here Kallen said. We left the base and head to ashford.

We arrived at ashford and head for the clubhouse. We head up to the council room and see no one is in there. Wow no ones here Kallen I said. Yeah wait there's no council meetings today Kallen said. Really Kallen well I might head to bed early today to catch up on sleep I said. Yeah I stayed up till midnight last night before turning in Kallen said. So the both of us are tired I said. Yeah looks that way Rai Kallen said. I can make up some dinner for us I said. Really you can cook Rai Kallen said. Yeah for a while now i've remembered that i'm a decent cook I said. Sure Rai I would like to eat something you cook up Kallen said. Thanks Kallen let's head down stairs then I said. We head downstairs and I head into the kitchen while Kallen gets a shower.

I take off my jacket and set it on a hook. I put on a apron and get to cooking. I make up sweet & sour chicken, rice, steamed vegetables and homemade eggrolls. I set up the table and place the food on the table. Kallen comes in the dining room and says the food smells really good Rai. Thanks Kallen I said. I pull off the apron and set it back on the hook and take my jacket. I sit down at the table and Kallen sits down across from me. What kind of chicken did you make Kallen asked. Well Kallen we have sweet & sour chicken, rice, steamed vegetables, and homemade eggrolls I said. Really Rai you made all of this pretty well Kallen said. Thanks Kallen lets eat the food before it gets cold I said.

The both of us get our food and start eating. This is delicious Rai your a good cook Kallen said. Thanks Kallen my mother taught me how to cook I said. Really Rai you were able to be with your family at times Kallen said. Yes I was able to since around 1905 the enemy retreated with their ships to their nearest port so everyone was able to let their guard down for the most part I said. How long did that last Kallen asked. A few months is how long during that time I was able to become a expert in all of my mother's recipes I said. Really Rai even the eggrolls Kallen said. Well the eggrolls are my own recipe I said before using the chopsticks and grab some of everything and eat it. Really the eggrolls are your own Rai their amazing Kallen said. Thanks Kallen that means very much to me I said.

We finish dinner and we start clearing the table. I start washing the dishes and Kallen wipes down the table. Kallen comes in and says Rai your a better cook then me. You a very decent cook yourself Kallen I said looking at her with a smile. Really Rai you think so Kallen said. Yeah I do Kallen after all cooks that have eaten the others food come to respect and understand each other more I said. Really Rai thanks and did your mom teach you that Kallen said. Yes she did Kallen she said what I said about cooks I said. I finish the dishes and put them away.

Thanks Rai your a nice person to hang out with Kallen said before hugging me. I hug Kallen and say your a nice person to hang out with to. Kallen steps away from me blushing. I blush also when I notice that the both of us are alone. Well Rai we should head to bed Kallen said. Yeah your right Kallen I said. The both of us head to our rooms and go to bed.

I get out of and get a shower. I get out and get black pants white shortsleeve shirt and grab my dark blue jacket. I grab my wallet and both cellphones. I grab a set I bought a while ago and open it. I look through the selection of knifes to take. I grab the knife in the middle and its the knife with medium length. I strap it to my belt and grabbed another set of weapons. I open the set and grab five kunais and place them in slots in my jacket. I put on my jacket and zip it up to where it leaves just a small gap. I put my cellphones in pockets on my chest and I put my wallet in my back pocket. I exit my room and lock it after hiding away my weapons.

I head to the entrance of the clubhouse and wait. After a few hours Kallen comes to the entrance and sees me. Sorry to keep you waiting Rai Kallen said. Its okay Kallen lets head to the city I said. Yeah lets head out Kallen said. We head out to the city. We look around the city telling each other about our experience. When it gets closer to noon we look for someplace to eat. Look over there Rai Kallen said pointing to a café near a park. I nod and we head to it and sit down.

We grab the menus that are on the table. I look through it and see that this place offers a good items. A waiter comes over to us and says What can I get for you sir and madame. I'll have a coffee with a ham sandwich I said. I'll have coffee with a ham sandwich as well Kallen said. The waiter takes our order and leaves. So Kallen what do you think of this café I asked. I think it is a nice place and offers a variety of things on the menu Kallen said. I think that also Kallen I said. The waiter comes back and hands us our order.

I take a bite of the sandwich. Its pretty good for such a small café I said. Yeah they must have a unique way of making it Kallen said. We talked to each other for a while. I finish of my coffee and set the cup down. Their coffee was pretty decent as well I said. Kallen sets down her cup and says agreed Rai this is a pretty decent place. I pull out my wallet and grab the amount of money to pay for the meal. Well shall we head Kallen I said getting up. She nods getting up and we leave.

We head to a museum and check out the exhibits. When we got to the end of the exhibits in a small room several gas grenades are thrown and we are knocked out. When I wake up to someplace underground with everything we had. Kallen hey wake up I said walking over to her and start shaking her. Huh Rai is that you Kallen said waking up. Yes its me Kallen I said. Where are we Rai Kallen said sitting up. I don't know exactly where but I know that we're underground I said. We are underground that's odd who gassed us Kallen said. I don't know but someone who hates me I said. That I can believe Rai but which enemy Kallen said.

There's only two people that know who I am those two are Mao and Hayato I said. Those two huh which one do you think it is Rai Kallen asked. I think its Mao because he wants revenge on me for ruining his last plan I said. That makes sense Rai how about we start moving Kallen said. Yes lets start moving I said. We start moving through the underground.

Are we getting anywhere Rai Kallen asked after a few miles. I don't know Kallen to be honest I said. We continue walking and we reach a gap. Kallen look out I said grabbing her hand as she stepped forth. I pull her back from the gap. Thanks Rai that was close Kallen said. Do you hear that Kallen I said looking back. A flaming boulder starts coming toward us. Kallen hold on to me I said gabbing her in a bridal hold. Huh Rai what are you doing Kallen said blushing. Just hang on and close your eyes I said walking a little back and then runs and jumps over the gap.

I run away from the boulder at a fast speed. Kallen buries her head into my shoulder. I see a light and enter the light. We appear in a underground coliseum. The boulder comes rolling toward me and I dodge right where it misses me. Rai is it safe for me to pull my head out of your shoulder Kallen said. Yes it is Kallen we're taking a break I said setting her down.

Where are we Rai Kallen asks. I think we are in some sort of underground coliseum I said. Really I see a few strands of light seeping in Kallen said. Yeah but I have a feeling that someone is coming from the tunnel in front of us I said pointing. Why do you have a feeling about that Rai Kallen asks. I hear a heavy pair of footsteps I said. Really Rai do you have any weapons Kallen said. Yes I have some weapons on me but from the sounds of it I need a sword I said.

I look around the room and see a sword nearby with a iron shield. I run over and grab the sword and iron shield. The footsteps come into the room and I see a man in iron full-plate armor with sword and shield. He looks at me and at Kallen. Hey over here buddy I said running to the middle of the room. The man comes forward to me and says punk kid you think you have what it takes to kill the grandfather and master of all assassin arts Alan Branford. Really your the last member of the family so is there a Chinese man with you I said. Yes on both of those he is in the stands Alan said. I look over and see Mao in the stands waving at me.

Well how about we finish this one way or another this ends today I said. Agreed my foe this does end today Alan said. The both of us take a stance and when Mao fires his pistol we begin the fight. I strike at him to where he puts up his shield. I strike his shield over and over again until his shield arm breaks. He goes berserk and strikes me to where I put up my shield and dodge around. My left arm get hurt and I lose it for now. I throw away the shield and open up my jacket and pulls out my knife.

I duel wield both the sword and knife. I strike at him and I break apart his armor to where he is wearing only his clothes. I stab my sword into him along with my knife. I pull out two of my kunai and jump back. I throw my kunai at him and pull out two more kunai and throw them at him. I pull out the last kunai and run at him to stab him in the eye. I jump forward and shove the kunai into his eye killing him. I pull out all my kunai and knife and put them back into their sheathes. I look up to the stands and see that Mao is gone. I zip up my jacket and walk over to Kallen. Let's go Kallen we need to get out of here I said offering my hand. She takes it and stands up.

We move forward and arrive in a room that has a maze in it to get through. You got to be kidding me we said. Well I guess we should start heading through the maze I said and continued Kallen here's my knife for you to use. I give her the knife with its sheathe and she puts it on her belt. Thanks Rai now at least I have something to defend myself with Kallen said. We enter the maze and hear a roar from behind us. Rai what gave of that roar Kallen said with a scared voice. No idea let's just hope we don't meet it I said.

We reach the center of the maze and see the thing that gave off the roar. Oh shit that is a mutant from the facility I said. A mutant I don't know what that is but let's run for it Kallen said. We reach the end of the maze and the mutant just stampedes through the maze. We run for it and see a light up ahead. We arrive in another arena and we get to the other side before the mutant comes in. Die you human pests the mutant said.

We can't escape it I said pulling out two kunai. The mutant runs forth and we dodge the charge but Kallen doesn't get away safely. She gets thrown into a wall. Kallen you bastard I will kill you I yelled jumping on his back. I stab my kunai into his eyes and stab my other kunai into his skull. I pull out the kunai from the eyes and stab the kunai into the skull. He throws me off and I land beside Kallen. I pull out the knife and charge the mutant. I stab my knife into the skull killing it. The mutant falls down dead and I pull out the kunai and put them into their sheathes. I grab the knife and put the knife into its sheathe.

I grab Kallen and throw her over on my back. I carry Kallen through the next tunnel. I walk for a few miles and come to a cave in where some old Japanese military units are wrecked. I see a man in the middle of the room on a altar. I carry Kallen up to the man. When I get to the top I see that the man has a katana in his chest. I set Kallen down and pull out the katana. I look at the hilt and see its name Angel twin to demon. Demon that's my sword's name. Wait I remember my mother telling me about a twin to her sword named Angel and when the chosen one obtains both the swords he or she will do great things also Angel and Demon twin blades of eternal judgment are the ancient Sumeragi treasures.

I grab Angel's sheathe and put the sword in the sheathe. I put the sword on my belt so I can draw it when in need. I look at Kallen and she's still out cold. I grab her and put her on my back. I move forward through the tunnel behind the man who must have been a Sumeragi. I continue onward in the tunnel and I don't see any light up ahead. I hear a sound behind us and I start running. I start to get tired and the sound gets louder. I speed up pushing past my fatigue and run at a super speed.

I begin to see a light ahead and charge forth. I enter and see that we are at the ocean at a beach. I look around for a way up and see a mass of cars. I head up the stairs nearby and see a man getting out of his car. I set Kallen down near the car and walk behind the man. I grabbed his neck and snapped it then I pickpocketed him. I take the keys and his pad which has gps. I grab Kallen and put her in the passenger seat and grab the knife from her. I take off the sword and put it beside my seat. I put the keys in the ignition and turn it on. I drive away while using the pad to see where we are.

I find out that we are 450 miles away from Tokyo and I look over to Kallen who is still out. I put the pad to where I can see which way I should go. I start driving toward Tokyo and after 25 miles Kallen wakes up. Where are we where is that mutant where did you get this car Kallen shot off questions. Kallen calm down calm down I said. Rai what's going on she asked. Well you got knocked out and I killed the mutant. I carried you and found the long lost twin to Demon my sword I said. Demon twin what are you talking about Kallen asked.

This katana is Demon's twin its name is Angel its the long lost treasure of the Sumeragi's I said. Really how long has it been Rai Kallen asked. Its been lost for nearly 200 years I said. Really well where are we Rai Kallen asked. Well we are about 420 miles from Tokyo I said. What how can that be Kallen yelled. I don't know Kallen and where did I get the car I snapped a man's neck and took his keys and this pad I said. What you did what to a man is he dead Kallen said. No he is alive he is probably going to be hurting when he wakes up in the hospital though I said.

So how many days do you think its going to take to get back to Tokyo Kallen asked. Well if we go all night we can arrive in two days with no sleep I said. Really that long well that ain't as bad as I thought Kallen said. Really well we might encounter some problems such as cops looking for this car and other things I said. So we might have to ditch the car Kallen said. Yes we might have to ditch it I said. We stay quiet for 220 miles.

I pull the car over and grab the sword and pad. Kallen hey Kallen I yell at her for to wake up. Rai what's wrong why are we pulled over Kallen asked. We are ditching the car but taking the pad with us I said handing her the knife. Kallen takes it and straps it to her belt. I strap my sword to my belt and held the pad in my left hand. Rai which way do we go Kallen asks. We head north for now through the cornfields I said. We run through the cornfields and head north.

We reach the center of the field and we crouch down. I look at the pad and see we have 190 miles to go. How far do we have left Rai Kallen asks. 190 miles till we reach Tokyo I said. Dang how are we to get there on foot Kallen said. Well there's a military base nearby that doesn't have much security I said. How can you tell Rai Kallen said coming over to look at the pad. See this base those red dots are the enemy as for the green those are us I said. I see and there are only about ten red dots at the base Kallen said. Correct and we can steal a helicopter since its night and won't become morning for several hours I said. Great plan Rai now lets go Kallen said. We run for the base that's ten miles away and once we get out of the cornfield we will see it.

We come into view of the base and look at the pad. Still only ten dots moving around Kallen and let me do the talking I said. Okay Rai I believe in you Kallen said. Let's hope they don't spot us. We run through the front gates and trigger the alarm. We dash in between the mess hall and shooting range. All of the soldiers run past us to the front gate. Now Kallen I said quietly and we dash for the helipad. I see a chopper and we hop in it. I look at the fuel gauge and see its full. I turn on the chopper and start flying toward Tokyo.

Kallen can you tell me how miles we have left I asked handing her the pad. Sure Rai and we have 130 miles left Kallen said. That sounds pretty good to hear and I haven't done it yet but what's the date I said. The date is holy its been 5 days since we went on our date Kallen said. Seriously that long I was worried about that I said. Yeah me too Rai we've got eighty miles left to go Kallen said. Good i'm setting down for now I need to make a call I said. I set the chopper down and turn it off.

I pull out my cellphone used for the black knights and dialed up Zero. He picks up and says Rai where are you and is Kallen with you. I'm with Kallen and we're about eighty miles from Tokyo but the worst thing is we were gassed five days ago and trapped in a underground maze also when I got us out of there we were 450 miles from Tokyo I said. Ok you say your eighty miles out from Tokyo correct Zero said. Yes and we're coming in a britannian military chopper I said. I'm not gonna ask how you got one of those but I hope you get here soon bye Zero said before hanging up.

So Zero seemed to take it well Kallen said. Yes he did let's hope he has told everyone to not shoot at the britannian military chopper I said. Let's hope so Kallen said and we laughed. Well we should head out now since during the time you were talking to Zero I disabled the tracking device and now we can land near our base Kallen said. Yeah let's head out I said turning the chopper back on.

We arrive at Tokyo and I turn towards the ghettos. I make sure we don't get company and land in the ghettos at the base. Some black knights come out with guns. Well I guess some of them didn't get the memo Kallen I said. Yeah might as well step out and show ourselves to them Kallen said. I turn off the chopper and we step out of the chopper with our equipment. The black knights lower their guns once they see the both of us. They start muttering to themselves as me and Kallen head into the base.

Once we reached the bottom and walked to the middle of the room everyone turned their heads to us. Rai sis i'm glad your safe Naoto said running over with Tamaki and Ohgi. So where did the both of you disappear Tamaki asked. We looked at each other and said we should have a meeting. I agree with you two Zero said appearing out of nowhere. The inner circle enters the cc and sat down. So where have you two been Ohgi asked.

Well the both of us were gassed five days ago I said. So that's what those grenades we found contained at the museum Naoto said. Yes and we ended up in some underground maze Kallen said. Underground maze but where exactly Ohgi asked. I think somewhere inland near the beach 450 miles south I said. Seriously that's wrong who would do that Tamaki asked. More like two someones I Kallen said. Two people and who are they Zero asked. Well the grandfather and last member of the Branford family Alan Branford and Mao the madman I said. Do you ever get a break Rai Naoto asks. No I don't but at least I prepared for it I said as I pull out the five kunai and Kallen grab the knife and we set them on the table.

You foresaw that you were going to get jumped Tamaki said with a surprised face. No I just had a feeling is all I said. So what's with the sword I thought your sword is here Rai Naoto asks. Oh about that after some trials and Kallen getting knocked out by a mutant I found it with a man who had to be a Sumeragi from feudal japan because that's how long this treasure of the family has been lost I said. Wait do you mean you have found the twin to your katana Rai Naoto said with enthusiasm.

Whoa wait what do you mean twin Tamaki asks. Both this sword and my sword are the ancient treasures of the Sumeragi family I said. Seriously Rai you have both of them Ohgi says. Yep I found Angel here and I already have Demon in my room I said. Angel Demon is there a special meaning to those names Tamaki asks. Why yes they do you see Angel can also mean heaven and Demon can also mean hell put them together and you have The Twin Blades Of Eternal Judgment I said.

So do you have skill in duel wielding Rai Zero asks. Yes I do to tell the truth i'm a master in the way of the sword so anything dealing with swords I have mastered that includes duel wielding Zero I said. Then I have a mission for you after you get some rest and all that Rai Zero said. I nod and the both of us finish our story. Well you two have been on a adventure and a half Ohgi said. No kidding now I just want some down time the both of us said at the same time. You two are in sync Tamaki says before leaving. I look over to Kallen beside me and see she is the way I am tired hungry and beat up. Well you two go and get some down time Zero says and Rai in a day or two the mission will be ready.

The both of us stumble out of the vehicle and go to our rooms. I get rid of the weapons and get a fresh set of clothes on after a shower. I head to the entrance where Kallen is. We stumble our way to the grounds and walk to the clubhouse. We run into Lelouch in the clubhouse. Well where have you two been Lelouch asks. Well the jlf captured us and took us outside Tokyo for days and the black knights saved us in a covert type of mission I said. Really well that's quite the problem you two Lelouch said. No kidding Lelouch and we barely got back Kallen said.

Well you two must be hungry correct Lelouch said. Me and Kallen nod. Well Sayoko made too much food and there's leftovers so you two can have it Lelouch said. Thanks Lelouch We said before heading to the kitchen. No problem you two after all you need your strength Lelouch muttered. We enter the kitchen and open the fridge. Lelouch said there's leftovers but that doesn't describe how much is left I said looking at the food. Well no need to complain I guess Kallen said as we pull out the food. We heat up the food and eat it. After we got our bellies full we washed the dishes and headed to bed.
