Onto chapter 14. The wedding has now come but will everything run smoothly?

Chapter 14: The wedding
(Emma opens one eye sleepily as she looks around the hotel room she and Gina are stopping in before the wedding)
"It's Gina`s wedding day" she whispers to herself and then also gives a small smile. Today was also the day where she was going to confess her feelings to Will. However she hides the smile when Gina comes back into the hotel room clad in a towel as she has just been in the shower
"Finally your up. I didn't think you would wake" Gina comments
"Sorry I overslept" Emma apologises. However Gina`s phone has just gone off and she hears the people organising the wedding food have cancelled on her
"Maybe you could just get some sandwiches. The food isn't the most important thing. What matters is having your friends there seeing you and Jeff be happy" Emma gives a smile to her friend
"I suppose" Gina sighs "I just wanted everything to be perfect that's all" she sighs
"It will be" Emma nods then glances at the door as she hears a knock. Emma then goes to the door and glances curiously when she notices a bunch of white roses
"Emma Pilsbury?" the delivery guy replies and Emma nods. Emma then signs and then goes back into the room
"From your mystery man" Gina replies and Emma nods
"Just to say he can't wait to see me at the wedding" she gives a small smile and Gina just nods. While Emma was at the door she had put on her wedding dress, however by accident she had managed to dump a cup of coffee over it splashing it all over the dress and Gina screams
"Don't worry!" Emma exclaims as she runs with a cloth and dabs at the dress "It will come out eventually"
"Second time something has gone wrong by this time Jeff will leave me at the altar!" Gina exclaims
"I don't think it will be that" Emma replies and Gina shoots a look at her friend, angry that she is so perky while her on her wedding day everything seems to be going wrong. However she reigns her anger in and then glances down at her dress
"I think that will do" she gives a smile. "I better not drink any coffee before the wedding though" she replies
"I'll just go in the shower" Emma adds as she walks into the bathroom to have her shower before she will try her bridesmaids dress on before the wedding. However Gina glances down at her wedding dress and it looks like as if she might be having second thoughts with everything that seems to be going on. However she lifts her head up and gives a defiant nod. She is going to marry Jeff and nothing is going to stop her
(Will stands in the hallway of the hotel glancing at his watch wondering why Emma is so late. However he then lifts his head up and notices her walking towards her dressed in a light blue bridesmaids dress which is the colour Gina has picked for the bridesmaids)
"Wow you look…"Will replies as his eyes grow wide and he has a big smile on his face
"Sorry I'm late. Gina got her hair stuck in one of the straighteners" Emma sighs .Will lifts an eyebrow and Emma sighs "It's been a long day but everything seems to have got sorted now. She has gone ahead in the horse and carriage and said to meet her there"
"Well let's go then. Lead the way Cinderella" Will smiles and Emma slightly blushes. Will and Emma then go out of the hotel doors and make the short walk to the small church that Gina and Jeff are to be married at. Many of their family are there and Emma sits at the front with the other bridesmaids with Jeff also joining them. However ten minutes after Gina should be at the church she still hasn't arrived
"Should I go and have a look for her?!" Emma glances at Jeff
"Do you know something?" he glances at her
"Things have been going wrong today and I`m just wondering if Gina has panicked and run away" Emma sighs. "Look I'll go and have a walk around as I have an idea where she might be" Emma then gets up and walks out of the church while Will sits confused where Emma could be going. Emma then runs down a small path that leads out of the church and makes her way to a small lake just off the path where Gina is sat in her wedding dress
"Gina?" Emma goes and sits down next to her friend who looks at her confused
"Emma?. How did you know I was here?" she says confused
"I knew you used to come here a lot when you were younger. Look Jeff is worried sick back at the church "Emma protests
"Emma I can't do it. Too many things have gone wrong today. What is getting married is the wrong thing" Gina exclaims
"Look I know I haven't had a serious relationship but one thing I do know is when you have found the one you just know. And I do know that Jeff is the one for you Gina. And these things have had happened today, I don't know, but it isn't the universe saying you and Jeff shouldn't be married" Emma says fiercely and Gina stands up tears running down her face
"I am so stupid!" she exclaims "I need to stop crying otherwise Jeff won't want to marry me anyway"
"I doubt that" Emma smiles and the two friends embrace
"Also I do know about Will. And from what you have just said I think you will have a serious relationship with him" Gina grins and Emma glances at her wide eyed
"How…" she says confused
"I saw you two loved up last night outside the train station and then leaving the hotel. I was going to expose you two but now I realise that would have been stupid. So hopefully the next wedding I will be attending is yours and Wills" Gina grins. The pair then make their way back to the church where Jeff`s face lights up and he shots a smile of gratitude towards Emma who sits with the other bridesmaids where Gina and Jeff then get married
"You ok?" Will glances at Emma as she sits back down after dancing with Gina
"Yeah just my feet" she groans just as a slow song comes on
"Do you want to?"Will glances at her and Emma also glances at him back
"If you want to…" she replies and Will nods
"I do" he replies giving her a small smile and taking her hand takes her out to the dance floor where the music is playing. The pair sway with one another as the music continues to play
"I know we haven't really discussed this but I wondered if you would like to…"Will pauses and glances up at Emma who looks confused
"What?" she replies her eyes wide as the song ends. Will then takes Emma`s hand and the pair go out to the gardens behind the hotel where there are also a lot of other couples
"I was wondering if you would like to stay the night" he replies "I have a spare bed"
Emma then stops for a moment and remembers what she said to Gina about finding the one and when you know you have found the one. And then looking up at Will in the moonlight she knew she had found the one. She however shakes her head and Will`s face falls. However Emma leans forward and softly kisses him before wrapping her arms around his neck and whispering something in his ear. Will`s eyes grow wide and her glances at her for her answer and Emma nods with a smile. The pair then take each other`s hands and run up to the elevator where they look at one another nervously but excitedly at the same time, The elevator then reaches the floor where Will`s room is and then get to his door. Will then opens the door, the pair then walk into the room and then the door closes shut, Will having put the do not disturb sign on the door
Next time
Will and Emma address their relationship and wonder where the next step is for them. Then we find out what has happened five years down the line
And done. Sorry for the cliffhanger. The next chapter will be the last chapter so I am sorry about that. However please review and I should have the final chapter done at the weekend. I should also be starting a new fic soon as well.
