Chapter 14- Mori Eiko
Neko-chan: Hello, due to circumstances, I must-
Ichigo: Where the **** am I?
Neko-chan: Ah, our guest has arrived. Please do the disclaimer.
Ichigo:…..0v0…..Who are you?
NEko-chan: Do the disclaimer or else I'll rip out your throat and give it to the hollows!
Ichigo: (backs up): dragonwolfcat does not own Naruto or Pokemon, only her ocs.
Neko-chan: Even though this is late, Happy New Years!
"So, Akane-sensei, who's going to teach me?," Narumi asked Akane. Akane paused and said, "Well, I considered my choices and decided that my former sensei would be teaching you, Midori, and Fuuka." That got wide eyed looks from all three of them.
Narumi's POV
"Who was your former sensei, Aka-sensei?," I asked curiously. Akane grinned. "Mori (forest) Eiko (long-lived child or splendid child), I have a feeling that you'll like her," Aka- sensei smiled. "Mori…..Eiko? I think I read a book about her….."Narumi thought. "Isn't she the one that defeated a bijuu?" I asked.
"That's correct, the Sanbi, to be exact." Akane replied. "It appears that this Eiko is a very extraordinary ninja. Isobu is no easy bijuu to be defeated," Hikari's voice said in my head. "Are we training today?" Midori asked. Akane smirked. "Not at all. You three need rest after the Preliminaries. We'll meet tomorrow, then I'll take you to her. Until then, see you later." With that, Aka-sensei turned and raced away. I turned to Midori and Fuuka. "What are you guys going to do now?" Fuuka asked. "Prepare," Midori said simply. "I'll probably visit Teuchi and Ayame and get some miso ramen." I shrugged. "I see… See you guys tomorrow," Fuuka waved cheerfully before heading off towards her home. I blinked and turned to Midori. "Fuuka didn't say anything about what she's doing….. I wonder why," I said to Midori.
"Whatever it may be, Fuuka looked HAPPY. It may be a good thing." Midori said before giving me a nod goodbye. I watched as she walked away. "Hikari, what do you think made Fuuka so happy?" I asked in my head. "A family reunion perhaps." I could visualize Hikari closing her eyes. I sigh, might as well head home with Naruto. I look towards Naurto's team, only to find them gone. "Oh great, he's gone." I sighed again before heading home. I remembered that Fuuka's smile… looked fake.
Midori's POV
I thought about what Narumi said after Fuuka left. "What could've made her so happy? Is it the chance to see her family again? Or is it…...Never mind….it couldn't be that CAT." I shivered as I remember the descendant of Tora, Little Devil… I stopped in front of the Kawa Household. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. It has been days since I entered this house. When we got back from training and came to Konoha again, the Hokage allowed us to stay in rooms that were prepared beforehand to give us rest, immediately. I open my eyes and entered. "Father, Mother….I'm home." I called out. My mother, Aiko came out. "Midori, there you are. How was the Chuunin Exams?" She asked. "I was defeated by my teammate, Narumi. She was very strong," I smirked, remembering the thrill of battle and the adrenaline pumping in my blood. "Well, at least you tried. That's all that matters," Aiko hugged me. "Where's father?" I asked. Aiko paused. "Well Hotaku(step by step) is on a mission away from the village. All I know is that it is a B-rank." "I see." I murmured.
Fuuka's POV
I gazed up at the Kimura clan compound. My clan compound, ironically is located in the trees. A shiver of uneasiness swept through me. What would my father do if he found out that I completely accepted Narumi and Naruto as Jinchuurikis. I shook my head. It doesn't matter about what he would think. I'm their friends no matter what. "Mom, Pa, I'm home," I said out loud as I entered the tree house. "Welcome home Fuuka," my mother, Akemi said warmly. She stood in the doorway to the other hallway leading to the bedrooms. "Well, our little pipsqueak didn't die," my father, Taka said. I stared at him. Who got on his bad side? "I'm surprised, considering you're on the same team as the demon." He sneered. "Narumi isn't a demon nor is Naruto." I glared back at him. "Hmph," he turned and walked back into the other hall way. I could hear Akemi sighing and shaking her head. "Someday he would see…someday.."
Eiko's POV
I sigh as I looked out at the streets below. So many days have passed, so many have died. I heard the door open. I looked up to see Akane, my pupil. "Eiko-sensei….how are you?" She asked. "I'm fine Akane," I snorted. She seemed fine from over the years I have seen her. "Eiko-sensei, I have a favor to ask you. As you would know, I took in three students. I would like you to teach them." Akane bowed. "Hmph, in what would I teach them? The arts of killing? You make me tired Akane. I have seen too many deaths. Now vanish Akane, I do not want to see you anymore." I turned away from her, looking at the streets once more. "Mori Eiko-sensei, I know you don't want to do this…..But I believe it is best to let go of the past and look towards the future. Place your bets on the new generation, free from the battles and hardships of war. I beg you, please, Eiko sensei." Akane bowed again. "I wonder why she's asking me to train her students. No matter, I would not do it. Then again, she might be right." I mused. "Eiko-sensei, I believe that the new generation would end this cycle of hatred and death." Akane said. I could feel her stare at my back. "Who are these three students of yours?" I feel curiosity bubbling as I asked. "Kawa Midori, Kimura Fuuka, and Uzumaki Narumi," she answered immediately. Uzumaki? I turned towards her. "The Uzumaki clan….. long destroyed at their village, Uzushiogakure…They are the true bringers of change…."I felt myself smirk and chuckled. "An Uzumaki, eh? Your clan has once again have my interest. Fine, I will train your team. You have yourself a deal."
"Thank Eiko sensei, thank you." Akane bowed. I could see her eyes shining. "I would bring my team to you tomorrow, bye." With that, Akane turned and closed the door behind her. "Uzumaki Narumi, I would like to see what you would do. As well as your teammates… Maybe Akane is right, the new generation may bring about a change….." I smiled.
Neko-chan: So what do you think?
Ichigo: I really don't get it. Why do you write stuff like this?
Neko-chan: I might be updating two months per chapter. Not sure due to School. As to answer Ichigo, for practice and fun. Arigato for reading this. Do please review.
