Chapter 14

Previously, Nina was rescued from the gatehouse and she has been "blessed" with evil. Also, Mara, Jerome, and Joy are on team evil and Sibuna have put their full trust in them to finish the mystery.

Nina's Pov

"Don't walk so hard", I heard someone say outside my door. Feminine, annoying, perky voice. Amber. She turned the knob and looked in through the crack to see my back faced toward the door. I smelled raspberry and oranges. That was Mara. She must be checking up on me.

"She's still sleep, we should let her rest before she has to go to the hospital", Amber said shutting the door quietly behind her. I sighed, this would be tiring, putting up this front. I opened my eyes seeing everything through my red eyes. Turning over I got out of the bed. My body groaned against my moving of sore muscles. I might be an Egyptian evil know, but I am stuck in this human body, fragile and painful. I moved my legs as much as I could to the window, it was a beautiful dawn. I looked at the mechanical clock on the dresser, it was 7:14, that meant everybody was up and Trudy would be coming in-

Third person point of view

Triudy walked into the room, "What are you doing out of bed, love?", she put her hands up under Nina's arms, "Come on, let's get you brushed up, then I'll take you by the hospital'.

While Nina was getting up, Sibuna was talking plans with their new members.

"So that's it then, right. Use the necklace, use the message and down goes Frobisher", Mara said

"Yes, but I don't have the inscription, it's still at the Gatehouse and I only deciphered half of it", Fabian replied

"Ok, well that sounds easy enough, despite Frobisher's minions being under our noises", Joy motioned her head to the kitchen where Alfie and Patricia was, who looked to be intrested in the food on the table, but where listening to their conversation.

Eddie leaned into the table a little more and whisperes, "No kidding, so how are we going to get back into the Gatehouse after what happened last night".

"I don't know, maybe we can find a secret passage, there must be a map of the Gatehouse in library or in Victor's office", Fabian said.

"I can do that, my room is right by his office. I can sneak in later on in the day", Joy said

"Sound good"

On the stairs they heard Nina coming down. Fabian got up from his seat and went to the stairs to see Willow helping Nina down the stairs. Nina looked up at Fabian and smiled, "Goodmorning Fabian".

"Good morning", he smiled back, "Do you want me to carry you to the car?"

"Sure", Fabian squated down and lifted her legs.

"Fabian, do you think I should get her something to eat?", Willow asked

"Um, yes maybe like a crossiant", Fabian said, and Willow went into the kitchen. Fabian walked outside with Nina, "So how is your head?"

"Throbbing, but it feels a little better since Trudy got me asprin". He opened the car door and sat her in the passenger seat, putting her seatbelt around her. Willow and Trudy came out the door, "Thank you for putting her in the car Fabian, I packed up some clothes just in case she has to stay overnight"

"Here's your crossiant, Nina", Willow handed it to her.

"Okay, thank you children, don't be late to school and make sure you eat some breakfast", Trudy said, getting into the car. Nina waved as they drove off.

Willow turned to Fabian and asked, "Are you okay?"

Fabian nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine"

"I need to tell you something Fabian, you're going to think I'm crazy, but i think somethings happening to everyone, like something supernatural", Willow said

Fabian knew Willow knew nothing about the Egyptian history, so he tried to be oblivious of it as well, "Like how?"

"Have you noticed how everyone has been acting lately? I just get the feeling that something bad is going to happen", she said

"Me too", they both stood in silence for a moment until Willow said, "Uh, I hate this feeling, I need my oil", running into the house
