Ch. 14
After I finished answering their questions, their belts started to beep indicating that there was trouble in the city. The girls transformed and looked at the monitor to see a giant monster causing havoc to the city. I have a pretty good idea on whats gonna happen today.
"Girls! We have a problem! A giant monster is destroying the city! Please come and save us!" the Mayor cried out frantically.
"On it, Mayor! Lets go girls!" my past self commanded.
My friends' past selves nodded and they flew out of the lab towards the city where the giant monster is wrecking the buildings. Since they'll be facing the giant monster, they'll be getting some help from 3 unlikely people whom they never thought are gonna help them.
"Thinking of something, future Blossom?" the past Professor asked me.
"Just wondering how the girls are gonna defeat that monster since they're still recovering from their battle with the RRBZ" I lied.
"Oh no, how could I forget!? The girls better not push themselves too hard or their wounds will reopen" he frantically said.
"Calm down Professor. They'll get some help in defeating that monster if their wounds reopened"
"Help? Who?"
"You'll have to wait and find out"
"I sure hope its not whom you're thinking"
"Now what makes you say that?"
"Never mind. By the way, I'm nearly done with DYNAMO Z but it'll still take a few more days for me to finish it and see if its starting to work"
"What about the wires?"
"I managed to find some replacements for them but I had to make sure they were the right ones"
"I see well I hope DYNAMO is fixed soon because I don't want a time paradox to appear anytime soon"
"I'll go as fast as I can but lets hope and pray it doesn't happen"
"Me too"
Past Momoko's p.o.v.
The girls and I panted heavily as we kept on attacking the monster. Unfortunately, no matter how many times we attack it, it doesn't affect the monster that much but it becomes really angry at us and attack us with full force causing our wounds to reopen. Darn it! I thought they would've healed by then.
"Why can't this stupid monster go down!?" Buttercup growled while struggling to attack the monster.
As we kept on attacking, the monster let out a huge roar that sounded like a sonic screech causing us to cover our ears in pain and fly back making us land near a building causing a small crater to form from all 3 of us. This attack is definitely painful since it feels like we're losing a lot of blood from our reopened wounds.
"Girls, I can't move" Bubbles whimpered in pain.
"Me too" Buttercup hissed in pain as she struggled to get up.
"It looks like we still haven't recovered after our battle with the RRBZ" I grimaced in pain.
"I still won't forgive those punks for what they did to us and kidnapping the Professor!" Buttercup growled while clutching onto her wounds.
I heard loud footsteps and the girls and I turned our heads to find the monster coming towards us ready to finish us off. Are we really gonna die? I know that I'll still be alive since I saw my future self but will anyone come and save us? If someone saves us then who could it be?
The monster roared and brought its huge foot out to trample us. The girls and I clutched onto each other and closed our eyes, waiting for the pain to come. However, it never did. I opened my eyes and I gasped in shock as I saw someone whom I never thought would actually save us.
"B-Brick?" I stuttered in shock.
He brought his hands out to stop the monster's foot from stomping us. He had this angry look on his face and his eyes were filled with rage. I heard the monster roar in pain as it started to stumble back making Brick release its foot. I looked up and saw Boomer and Butch beating up the monster with their weapons and they were also filled with rage.
"You stupid monster! You dare try to kill our girls!?" Butch yelled. Did he just say our girls?
"You're gonna pay for hurting them, you evil piece of trash!" Boomer barked at it. "Electric Swing!"
He swung his baseball bat at it and lightning bolts came out of the bat and hit the monster causing it to roar in pain. Butch started playing a musical melody on his flute causing the monster to cover its ears from the music. Brick flew up and unleashed his chakram disc at it with flames engulfing it which hit the monster after the monster was distracted, the boys brought out their fists and punched the monster so hard that it flew up and off towards the sky where it disappeared and never to be seen again.
The boys turned around to look at us and then they flew over to us with their eyes filled with relief and worry. I was a bit scared on what they're gonna do so I tried to scoot back but I nearly yelped in pain as I remembered that I can't move at all.
"Are you okay, Blossom?" Brick asked me with his eyes filled with worry.
"P-Please don't hurt me" I whimpered while staying close to my friends.
"I'll never do that to you, Blossom-chan" he whispered in a gentle tone as he gently wrapped his arms around me to cradle me.
"But you did when you knew who I was" I tried to get out of his grip.
"I'm really sorry for what I did to you. I couldn't decide whether to like you or hate you. I finally realized that I shouldn't hate you because you're special to me" he said in a soft tone while cradling me. "I love you Blossom. I really do and I don't want to lose you this time"
My eyes widened at what he said and I looked up to see that his eyes were telling the truth with no lie in it. He actually meant it and loves me for real. Does that mean that his attempts at flirting with me was because he wanted to show his affection to me? I was broken out of my thoughts when he pressed his lips against mine.
"Hey Romeo, stop kissing your Juliet and lets take our girls to the lab" Butch replied with a frown while trying to calm down a stubborn Buttercup.
"Yeah yeah and don't call me that" Brick glared at him and then picked me up bridal style.
"Simmer down brothers. We must focus on helping our girls" Boomer replied while carrying a blushing Bubbles.
"Fine" they replied.
They then flew up into the sky while they still carried us and flew towards the lab. Hold on, my future self is at the lab!? Oh no, the boys can't see her or they'll get suspicious on who she is! I sure hope that she remembers that the RRBZ came to the lab when she was 13 and since she came from the future, she must hide so they won't see her.
"Blossom, are you okay? You're trembling" I heard Brick say with concern in his voice.
I realized that while I was too busy thinking about whether they would see future Blossom or not that I started to tremble with worry causing Brick and the others to look at me with concern on their faces. Bubbles and Buttercup knew what I was worried about and they were hiding the concern that they had on their faces.
"I'm fine, Brick. I was just thinking about something" I half-lied.
"About what? If someone is scaring you, I won't hesitate to kick their butt" Brick nearly growled.
"Don't worry, its nothing" I reassured him.
"Okay but I'll figure out what you're thinking though real soon" he replied.
I sighed in relief that he let it go but I have to be careful and make sure he doesn't know about it. We managed to make it to the lab and they took us inside where they laid us down on the couch so we'll be comfortable. I let out a breath of relief when I saw that my future self isn't here and is probably hiding upstairs where they won't see her.
"Girls! I saw what happened to you but I managed to get the me-" Ken couldn't finish his sentence when he saw the RRBZ.
"W-What are you boys doing here!?" he stuttered in fear as he and Peach clutched onto each other.
"To heal our girlfriends, what else!?" Brick slightly glared at him.
"Please stop glaring at Ken. You're scaring him and Peach" I sweetly asked him.
"Okay but only because you said that I'm scaring them" Brick smiled at me.
"Since when did we became your girls!? We were never your girls and never will be not after when you idiots tried to kill us!" Buttercup shouted at them.
"We know what we did was wrong and we're really sorry for what we did. We know you girls won't forgive us but we'll do everything we can to earn your forgiveness for our mistakes" Butch explained.
"A-Are you boys telling the truth?" Bubbles asked with worry.
"Yes we are, we really are sorry and we wished that we went back in time to stop ourselves from hurting you girls" Boomer answered with a sad face.
"If you jerks are really sorry, then see if you can heal our injuries" Buttercup crossed her arms over her chest.
"Thats pretty simple, cupcake" Butch smirked as she growled at him for calling her cupcake.
Their hands started to glow in their signature color and they placed their hands on our arm as our bodies are engulfed by the glow and soon, all our injuries vanished from our bodies. I slowly began to move and realized that I was no longer in pain.
"I don't feel any pain anymore" I said.
"Me too" Bubbles replied.
"I can't believe you punks actually healed us" Buttercup said with shock.
"Its a hidden power that we had and we use it to heal ourselves but in secret so no one would know that we have the power to heal" Brick explained. "By the way, can I go use the restroom because I want to wipe off the blood stain that I have on my uniform" he pointed to the small stain on his vest.
"Go ahead. Its just right down the hall on your right" I said.
"Thanks, sweetheart" he kissed my cheek and headed to the bathroom. Its a good thing he didn't see me blush or he would've smirked at it.
Brick's p.o.v.
I managed to get rid of the blood stain on my vest and exited the bathroom to see my future girlfriend and the others. Before I could go over to them, I heard some voices that were coming from another room. Curiosity came over me and I decided to follow the voices to see who was talking. I saw a door that was cracked a bit open and I peeked through the crack to see who they were.
I saw the Professor since he was wearing a lab coat but there was a woman who was talking and she looked exactly like Blossom but older though. I tried to make-out what they're saying by carefully listening to their conversation.
"I managed to test it out to see if it was properly working but it looks like it needs a few more adjustments" I heard the Professor say.
"I hope you'll fix it well because I really miss the others and I have a bad feeling on whats gonna happen if I stay here too long" the older Blossom look-alike said with worry.
"Don't worry, I'll manage to fix those adjustments and you'll be able to get back in your own time in no time. Oh hey, that rhymes"
"Professor"
"Sorry but I couldn't help myself"
She sweat-dropped at his antics and I shook my head at how weird he is. I quietly got away from the door and quickly went over to the others who were talking with each other. I wonder what they were talking about and who is that woman that looks like Blossom? Could it be her sister, her mother, a relative, or someone who isn't related to her?
In the Future:
Tim let out a loud yawn as he stretched his body to get rid of the stiffness in his bones. He was alone in the room as Brick and the others left the room to go see how the Professor is doing with DYNAMO. He let out a grumble as he realized that she was now 4 hours late.
"Where the heck is she?" he grumbled while running his hand through his bangs that were colored dark purple but hidden by a joker hat.
As he kept on grumbling, he saw a vortex appearing on the ground and a girl that looked to be 5 years younger than him emerged from the vortex with a grin on her face. He glared at the female mini version of him since they both have dark purple hair and hazel eyes except his was darker but he wore the joker uniform while she wore a striped blue and black sweater with rainbow colored overalls and a pair of purple sneakers. She had her hair in pigtails with fuzz-balls used as her scrunchie and a small sailor hat on her head.
"Astra! What the heck took you so long!?" Tim hissed at his sister.
"Calm down brother" her face turned into a frown. "The reason I'm late is because I had to make sure you weren't messing with the space-time continuum but it looks like you did"
"What do you mean?" he raised his eyebrow at her.
"While I was going through space, I noticed that there was a shift in the past so I had to go check to see what was happening and I saw that a girl from the future somehow ended up in the past and I realized that only you could go into the past, present, and future so I had to stop any time paradox that could make the future cease to exit and come over here to get you to fix your mess and quit messing with the dimensions" she crossed her arms over her chest.
"Why? I was having so much fun" Tim pouted.
"If you don't stop messing with the space-time continuum, I'll have no choice but to report this to the Time Lord and you know what would happen if he finds out that someone is trying to mess up the past and make the future cease to exist" she gave him a smug look.
Tim paled at the thought as he realized that he forgot about the Time Lord. Since the Time Lord is not only the ruler of both time and space, he can also control the dimensions and make sure that there is no disturbances or time paradoxes harming the space-time continuum. If he sees that someone is messing with both time and space, his punishments are far more crueler than any other punishment that were given as mortals.
"Okay fine! I'll clean up the mess but you first have to get me out of here!" Tim complied.
"Good boy" Astra smiled at him. "Come jump in the vortex and I'll get you out of here"
He nodded and jumped inside the vortex as she jumped in with him as well.
