The New Year has come and gone folks, so that means it's a new year for new stories and chapters. So far 2013 was pretty much my highlight. My own version of Transformers Prime Season 3 if really popular for many writers and I got some serious perks about it. So much so that I decided to continuing this ark and leaving other stories on hold until the time is right. Wish I could say the same with this story though. Even if it has four reviews and almost 150 hits, it doesn't show much love as my story ark for TFP. I don't get what's the big deal over this. I mean when you think about it, there's going to be an episode of my version of season three where John and Elsa would make a return. I'm hoping that everyone will read both the story and the ark just to be clear on what's bound to happen in the near future. Maybe because it's a crossover between Transformers Prime and Gunslinger Girl that got most people hesitant in reading it. I don't know. But whatever's the case, I hope people will be reading this story too, otherwise, they will get confused as to what is happening. On this next filler of TFP: John and Elsa, Miko decided to get some payback to Elsa by pulling some pranks on her. But the end results are going to bite her back. This one is going to be hilarious.
Disclaimer: I don't own Transformers Prime or Gunslinger Girl.
Chapter Fourteen: Prank Wars
The next day, the kids were in high school doing some studying while the Autobots were scouting for energon and John and Elsa were doing who knows what. But during the classes, there was something strange about Miko and both Jack and Raf saw it when they shared some classes with her. Normally, she would doze off from lectures and silently listening to her music, mostly getting her in trouble and into detention. But lately, she had her nose on her notebook, writing something down. It was a first in a long time as no one never thought that she was working so hard. Jack and Raf were wondering about that and wanted to ask her about it soon. That day came at lunchtime when they all gathered around the table eating their lunch. Yet Miko was still on her notebook writing something important. Both boys looked at her and were a little confused by this unexpected change. So Jack asked her about that.
Jack: "Hey Miko? Are you okay?"
Miko looked up to the teen and had a strange look on her face.
Miko: "Yeah… I'm all right. Why did you ask?"
Jack: "Well, it's because you've been cramming in your notebook all morning. I mean it's not like you to be studying all day when you only spent that time being lazy."
The Japanese exchange student looked to him and raised an eyebrow feeling a little confused. Jack noticed her silent gesture and could tell something is up, so he asked again.
Jack: "You are studying for school, are you?"
Blinking a few times, Miko could tell that Jack wants to know and lied a little bit.
Miko: "Why of course Jack, I am studying. I mean what wouldn't I do in this fine educational facility of ours?"
But Jack caught on to her lie as she was acting a little bit like a robot just like what happened in the street-racing debacle. He got real serious and demanded her on what she was doing.
Jack: "Seriously Miko, what are you really doing."
Miko was a little stiff as she said but one word.
Miko: "Nothing…"
Still, Jack figured it all out and decided that enough is enough as he stretched his hand out to her.
Jack: "Give me the notebook."
Miko quickly closed her notebook and turned it away from him.
Miko: "No."
Jack: "Give it to me Miko."
Miko: "No!"
Feeling a little fed up, Jack decided to pounce on the student and wrestled her to get the notebook. Raf looked on in disbelief as he looked around to see if there were teachers around or any students watching. So far, no one notices, but it will be a matter of time before his friends get stuck in detention. Quickly, he got off the bench and rushed to where the two were wrestling. Noticing her arm outreached so that Jack couldn't get it, Raf quickly got there and swiped the book from her. Miko looked up to see the hacker take it and protested.
Miko: "Hey! No fair! You took my notebook!"
Raf took a breather and opened the notebook while Jack and Miko managed to get up from their scuffle.
Raf: "As much as I want to see you two fighting it out, the last thing I want is for all of us to go straight into detention."
He then flipped through the pages to the part where Miko was writing. Finding the page, his eyes grew wide as he turned to Jack to show him what he found.
Raf: "Jack? I think you need to see this."
He let his hand out to give Jack the opened notebook. Out of curiosity, he took the notebook from his friend and took a good look at it. What he saw was truly surprising. On the notebook were what appears to be blueprints of some contraptions with what appears to be cruelly drawn chibi versions of both Miko and Elsa de Sica. On the top is a title page that says, 'Miko's Revenge' in bold letters. Jack read the title and looked at the pictures and was getting a little suspicious.
Jack: "Miko's Revenge? Miko, what do you think you're doing?"
The two turned to Miko, wanting and explanation from all of this. Knowing that the cat is out of the bag, she sighed and told the truth.
Miko: "All right fine… You got me. The truth is, I was planning a little payback with what Elsa did to me yesterday."
Jack heard of this and tired to figure out what payback she was talking about. Just then, it hit him. It was the time that Elsa beat her in a video game bout three times. Face palming himself, Jack understood what she was planning.
Jack: "Not the video game incident again. Miko, we've been over this yesterday. Elsa had beaten you because her conditioning made her a tough competitor. In short, she has the tendency to succeed no matter what obstacle is ahead of her. Just let it slide for once."
But Miko turned to him and explained what she experienced.
Miko: "No, you don't get it Jack. Elsa never even touch a game controller and yet she managed to beat me like she's a pro in gaming? That really boils me over! I can't let this slide when Elsa is gloating over her so-called victories. I'm going to teach her a lesson she will never forget."
Raf looked to her and was really worried about what she was going to do. So she tries to remind her about what Jack's father said to them.
Raf: "Miko, Mr. Darby clearly states that the girls are designed to be victorious over anything that comes to them. Who knows how many abilities these girls at the agency is capable of."
Jack: "Raf is right. Even if you have a plan in pranking her, I'm certain that she'll figure it out by the time you set it up. Perhaps you should leave what happened in the past and move on with your life."
Miko heard the two and still, she's not going to let this pass her by.
Miko: "Forget it! I'm not going to let this on slip me by. Elsa is going to pay for embarrassing me in the gaming community. She's going to pay dearly…
She then walked away while swiping the notebook from Jack; putting her nose on the page she was working and planning on how to prank the young girl. The two boys though looked on and didn't like the sound of her voice.
Raf: "Oh boy… Miko is heading to that zone again.
Jack listened to him and corrected him on what he said.
Jack: "Actually Raf, she has already gone to that zone."
Hours later, the kids were back at Omega One as their friends were in the base doing their usual things. Arcee was taking a nice oil bath, Bumblebee was doing his training, Bulkhead was in his room, and Ratchet was checking energon inventory. But as Jack and Raf were watching the TV, Miko already started to set her pranks in motion. John and Elsa hadn't returned yet for their important business, so it gave the Japanese girl time to set everything up. She had the plan all set up and placed the necessary traps for Elsa to step on. With everything in place, Miko returned to the lounge area and waited patiently for Elsa to return. Both the boys look to her and could tell that she was more determined then ever in making Elsa's life a living Hell. But then they too worry that Elsa would do something that Miko would inevitably regret. As they were watching the television, they all heard the sound of a motorcycle engine entering the base. They all turned and to Miko's delight, it was John and Elsa entering the command center. Once the two got off the Harley, John looked to the three kids and said his hellos.
John Darby: "Hey there Jack, Raf, and Miko. How are things going?"
There was a bit of an odd silence with the group as Miko kept quiet and had a hidden grin on her face. The boys just decided to respond since she had something up her sleeve.
Jack: "We're doing fine dad. We're just hanging around and watching TV. You're welcome to watch if you want."
John smiled and thought a little relaxation is in order.
John Darby: "Seems fair enough. Elsa, will you be a dear and grab the 52 AM sniper rifle? Thought maybe we can start a little sniping lesson on the roof."
He turned to Elsa just to ask that favor. The young girl turned to him and nodded in approval.
Elsa de Sica: "Yes John. Right away."
Miko overheard them and felt a little sparkle in her eyes. She knows that Elsa was heading down to that weapons vault they found two days ago and she knows the location of the place and the paths she will take. Those are the very paths that she placed those pranks out and about. So upon hearing that, Miko played coy and told her to watch herself.
Miko: "Be careful Elsa. You may never know what surprises are around every corner."
Elsa turned to the Japanese exchange student and had that strange look to her face. But she brushed it aside and headed back downstairs just to leave the command center and heading straight to the vault. Miko just starred at the screen and had a devilish smile to her accomplishment. John though looked to her and could tell something is off about her. So he turned to his son and asked about it.
John Darby: "Is something wrong with Miko? She seems a little weird as of late."
His son turned to him and explained as much as he could.
Jack: "Oh… That. See Miko is a little bummed at the fact that Elsa beat her at video games. So much so, that she decided to pull a few pranks on her."
John raised an eyebrow and was curious about that.
John Darby: "Pranks you say?"
Raf then chimed in and explained it a little more in detail.
Raf: "Indeed. Miko was a bit upset about it and wanted to get a little revenge."
John listened in and could tell that it was bad. But instead, he slouched back and put his hands to the back of head.
John Darby: "Well, this is going to be interesting."
The two looked to him and were a little confused.
Jack: "What do you mean by that dad?"
John though kept quiet as he watched the TV and gave off a deep sigh.
John Darby: "You'll see…"
Meanwhile, Elsa was walking down the hall reaching the weapon's vault. As she was walking, she started to think about Miko for a second. Ever since she beats her in the video game bout, she was acting really strange. Her behavior was a little off and the way she sounded is a little robotic. Almost like the Japanese girl was acting for some reason. Elsa couldn't put her finger on it yet, but something big was going on and she knows it. Approaching the T-junction, she turned to the left to reach the vault. But as she turned, she stopped and sensed that something is wrong around here. Looking around, she spotted what appears to be a string that's at her body height. It looked clearly visible and looked like it was connected to something. But the question is what? Before she would figure it out, she heard the voice of a very familiar femme.
Arcee: "Elsa? What are you doing here?"
She turned to see Arcee approaching her and she looked a little relaxed and shiny then before. Elsa stood straight and responded back.
Elsa de Sica: "Arcee, I didn't see you there. I was just heading to the vault to get a sniper rifle for John."
She then spotted a shine in Arcee's armor she didn't expect and asked about it.
Elsa de Sica: "My Arcee, you look a little more vibrant then before."
Arcee looked to herself and smirked at the girl's observation.
Arcee: "Why thank you Elsa. I thought of having myself a nice warm oil bath and a little waxing. Had to make myself look nice when I take Jack for a little drive."
Elsa looked at her and finds that to be a bit strange. But she brushed that aside and talked about Jack.
Elsa de Sica: "Sounds like that you and Jack have a connection."
Arcee was taken back by that and blushed a little before clearing her voice box and reminded her on what she thinks.
Arcee: "Oh, it's nothing that serious Elsa. Jack and I, we are nothing but good friends, partners. That's as far as we can go. And yes, that joke I pulled on Jack was to mess with his mind, but it was just plain fun. We don't have a connection between us."
Elsa heard that and thought that the two-wheeler didn't know it yet. So looking up to her, she gave out her two cents.
Elsa de Sica: "But you're wrong. I could see it between the two of you. You just don't know it yet, but you have a love that you two share, just like John sharing his love with me."
Arcee was blushing more slightly as she tried to hide it.
Arcee: "Oh no… It's not love that we're trying to share between us."
Elsa raised an eyebrow and was a little confused about that part.
Elsa de Sica: "And what do you really share?"
The two-wheeler smirked as she told her what it really was.
Arcee: "A sign of trust."
She then turned to the hall where her room was located. But just as she made that turn, her pede got caught in the very string that Elsa saw and pulled it. On a girder over her head, multiple objects were pulled down and fell to her. The femme wasn't prepared for this as the objects hit her and she was drenched in some kind of substance. Arcee was caught by surprise as she shook the liquid off of her.
Arcee: "Yuk! What in the name of Solus Prime is this stuff?"
Upon closer examination, her arms were coated in wet pink paint, and it was dripping. Blinking her optics, she was completely and utterly confused.
Arcee: "Paint? What the…"
Looking down to the floor, she then noticed what appear to be open cans of paint strewed across the floor with the same pink substance oozing out of it. Elsa looked at the mess too and didn't expect that to happen.
Elsa de Sica: "Well, that was unexpected. Hope you are able to clean that up before leaving."
With that said, Elsa walked past the femme and avoided the wet paint on the floor. Arcee though was drenched in paint with her arms out and couldn't believe that she stepped into that. She wondered how that happened and who was responsible for it all. Suddenly, one name came to mind as she had a look of disgust.
Arcee: "Miko…"
Almost a minute later, Elsa walked through the hall and thought about what happened. She noticed the string that was in the way. But she didn't expect the paint above her until Arcee tripped it. Though as funny as it would seem, it would've harm Elsa in particular if she was the one that sprung that trap. She then started to wonder who set it up and why this person would want to hurt her. As she was in deep thought, she accidentally bumped into a yellow metal leg. Rubbing her forehead, she looked up to see Bumblebee standing there as he was heading back to his room after his combat training. Looking down to see Elsa bumping into him, he asked in his beeps and whirls.
Bumblebee: (Elsa? What are you doing here?)
Elsa looked up to the scout and although she couldn't understand him, she did apologize in bumping into him.
Elsa de Sica: "My apologies Bumblebee, I was just on my way to the vault to grab a weapon for John for sniper practice. I was pretty much in deep thought and didn't see you there."
Bee just looked at her with pleasing optics and could tell that she didn't mean to bump into him.
Bumblebee: (It's all right Elsa, I understand. Just try to be more careful when walking around here. A sweet little girl like you doesn't want to get hurt when you're around us.)
After he said that, he walked away from her and headed to his quarters to relax. But just as he put his foot forward, he slipped on to something and was loosing his traction. Bumblebee tried to regain his footing only to fall flat on his rear and slid across his back. He continued to slide until stopping at a wall, as he was pretty much upside down with his head on the floor and was a little dazed. Elsa watched on and didn't see that coming at all. She walked to the hall to see the Autobot in an embarrassing position and asked if he was all right.
Elsa de Sica: "Bumblebee! Are you okay?"
Bee's response though was a whirl meaning that he was in a bit of pain. Elsa was about to walk to the scout to see if he was conscious, but she soon stop to notice something shining on the floor. Bending at one knee, she swiped a floor with her finger and discovered it was wet, really wet. If she would've guessed, someone must be washing the floor with a waxy substance. She wondered who would place wet wax on the floor. Was the same person that placed a pink paint and string Arcee triggered? Thinking this through, she looked at the ends of the hallway and noticed no waxy substance on the floor. So she reached the end of the wall and cautiously walked along the clear path. Once she reached the end, she looked at the scout and found that he was on a temporary stasis. But she could tell that he was still alive. So she went on ahead and headed to the vault, turning to the right and walking straight. Bee though groaned to himself with his whirls, wondering what just happened.
As Elsa was walking to the vault, she got the suspicious feeling that something wasn't right. First Arcee got drenched in pink paint, and then Bumblebee got slipped by wet wax. All of it feels strange to her as she was figuring out how it's happening and who was responsible for this. To that end, she needed to be alert as whoever is doing this seems to be targeting her. While she thought about it, her foot kicked something and she heard the sound of rolling in front of her. She stopped dead in her tracks and looked down to see where that sound came from. That's when she spotted what appears to be a silver ball the size of a ball children play around in playgrounds. Picking it up, she could tell that it was fully round and if stepped on, would cause her to trip. Looking yonder, she wondered if this was another trap that's waiting for her. Just as she was thinking about that, she heard a voice from behind that was familiar to her.
Bulkhead: "Hey there Elsa. How are things?"
Elsa perked up as she turned to see Bulkhead looking to her and a friendly grin. Elsa turned with her hands behind her, hiding the silver ball, and explained what she's doing.
Elsa de Sica: "Oh nothing really. Just getting a sniper rifle from the vault." … "By the way Bulkhead, did you notice anything strange going on as of late?"
Bulk looked to her intently and was a little confused by that question.
Bulkhead: "No, I don't think so. Why did you ask that?"
The girl pivoted her foot back and forth and explained about what happened.
Elsa de Sica: "Well, it would appear that someone was around the base setting traps up to attack the team. Arcee was the first as she was doused in pink paint and Bumblebee slipped on some wax and knocked him out. It almost seems like whoever put these traps must've known where I was going. So do you know about this?"
The Wrecker scratched his helm and was a little curious about this.
Bulkhead: "Traps you say huh? Sorry, but I didn't see any traps placed within the base. And even if there were any, I should know about them. I am a residential Wrecker after all."
Elsa turned her head down and felt a little defeated over this. But Bulk rubbed her hair and told her that everything will be all right.
Bulkhead: "Don't sweat it kid. I'm sure it's nothing to worry about. I certain that they were just nothing but accidents waiting for happen. Don't get too worked up over it or it might be the end of you."
He then walked away and turned to the left on a four way corner, one of which takes him to the Iacon relics. Elsa listened to him and thought that maybe he was right. Maybe they were just unexpected mishaps that the femme and scout sort of stumbled upon. Perhaps there is nothing to worry about after all. Just as she thought of that, she heard a yell from Bulkhead followed by a huge crash from close by. Curious by the sound, she ran to the four-way intersection and turned to the very direction Bulkhead went to. But what she saw was a hilarious site. The entire floor was covered with the same silver balls she found. At the end of the hallway was Bulkhead that was in a panic with buckets upon buckets raining the same balls that were on the floor. He was waving his hands profusely as he thought they were something else.
Bulkhead: "SCRAPLETS! GET THEM OFF! GET THEM OFF ME! ARGH! ARGH!"
Elsa looked at the site and couldn't help but a smirk a little, thinking that the Wrecker's assumption was completely wrong. But looking down to the floor, Elsa was relieved that Bulk managed to make a clear path for her to walk on. Taking a stroll down the clear path, she smirked and told him what she thought.
Elsa de Sica: "I don't know about that Bulk. They all look like traps to me. By the way, thanks for clearing the way for me. That's really grateful of you."
She then turned to the right at a separate hall and walked down it while Bulkhead stopped flailing about and was perplexed about what happened. But as she walked away, she asked herself in her silent voice.
Elsa de Sica: "What's a Scraplet?"
Soon enough, she was close enough to reach the vault and felt like this was one strange day for her. Arcee, Bumblebee, and Bulkhead stepped into some kind of traps and for some strange reasons; the traps were at the paths she was taking. Is it possible that whoever set those traps up was meant for her? She shook that thought off and was close to the vault. As she was walking to the vault, she saw Ratchet approaching her with a digital pad in his servo. Looking to him, Elsa decided to talk to him.
Elsa de Sica: "Hello there Ratchet. How are things?"
The medic looked down to see the girl standing before him. He was startled at first, but he remained cool and collective and told her what he was doing.
Ratchet: 'Oh, Elsa! I did not see you there. I was just checking on inventory to see if our energon capacity is low. Have to make sure that we have enough enegron to last us for a while, being that the Decepticons continued to mine most of the untapped deposits. You?"
Elsa looked to him and was a little silent about that question.
Elsa de Sica: "Oh… Just getting a sniper rifle from the vault for John and I can get through with sniper practice. Just cause John and I are on vacation doesn't mean that we have to rest all the time."
Ratchet just smirked about it as he walked towards her.
Ratchet: "I can understand what you mean. Training is essential when it comes to the battlefield. You may never know what surprises are in store for you."
But the second he said that, his foot stepped on a visible wire he didn't notice. Suddenly something fell on him and as he was coated into some black gunk followed by white stuff floating on top of him. Looking down to himself, with a state of shock mind, he noticed that the black stuff was tar and the little white things were feathers.
Ratchet: "What in the All Spark…"
Looking up, he noticed that there were multiple barrels and empty pillows strewned in a row. Looking onward, he soon realized that he was pranked, and it was the worse kind. Elsa though looked at that happened and realized it was another trap set up. So she smiled and told him about it.
Elsa de Sica: "Looks like you managed to save me from another trap Ratchet. Thanks for the help."
She then approached the vault and inputted the code Fowler kindly gave both her and John so they don't pick the complicated lock and opened it to get in and retrieve the sniper rifle. But Ratchet was a little irate at what happened to him. Of all the battles and ambushes he'd been through, this feels like the worse. He begins to wonder who would do such a thing to him? That is when one name occurred, one name that knows a thing or too about pranks. He had a disgusted look to his face and knew who was responsible for that.
Ratchet: "Well scrap…"
Back at the command center, the human companions were still watching the TV while John was waiting patiently for Elsa to return with the sniper rifle. Miko though sit tight and felt a little giddy about her plan. She already knows about the path that goes straight to the vault and set everything up for Elsa to trip. She's already feeling a little excited of the thought of her being drowned in pink paint, or slipping on extremely wet wax or the heavy marbles she found, or getting tarred and feathered when getting close to the weapons vault itself. She could even imagine the look on the girl's face after the end result and will laugh on all night long. It would be the perfect revenge for her after what Elsa did to her on the video game incident. Just when she thought she got where she wants her…
Elsa de Sica: "I'm back John, and I got the 52 AM sniper rifle. Just the way you wanted."
Miko turned to the girl to see all her work. But when she looked at her, her eyes were shock and her mouth agape. Elsa stood there with the sniper rifle in her arms, but she looked unharmed or wasn't covered anything what so ever. John looked to her and smiled at her success.
John Darby: "Excellent work Elsa. That is just what I need."
Miko remained completely and utterly silent as both Jack and Raf looked at her reaction. She then got up approached her quickly was very confused by this.
Miko: "Wha… How the… You are… How did you… It doesn't seem… Why are you…"
Elsa turned to her and was starting to feel very annoyed by this.
Elsa de Sica: "What are you trying to say Miko?"
The Japanese girl blinked and tried to rework her words.
Miko: "Oh, uh… When you reach the weapons vault, did you encounter something out of the ordinary?"
Elsa thought about her question and remembered something.
Elsa de Sica: "As a matter of fact I did. I encountered what appeared to be traps of some kind, but I didn't trip any of them."
The exchange student remained silent and couldn't believe that this young girl didn't trip or stepped on any trap she placed.
Miko: "You didn't trip on anything? Then why are you…"
Before she could ask that question, she heard loud booming voices that shout out her name followed by the whirls of a certain Autobot
"MIKO!"
(MIKO!)
Everyone heard her name being shouted out loud and turned to see something that was completely unexpected. Their eyes were really wide and in a state of shock as they saw their Autobot friends standing there with angry and deadly looks to their optics. Both Bumblebee and Bulkhead looked unharmed, but Arcee and Ratchet had the worse of wares as they were coated in both pink paint and tar and feathers on their body armor. Jack, Raf, and John saw this and were completely bewildered by the sight they see.
John Darby: "Whoa…"
Raf: "Oh boy…"
Jack: "Yep, she's officially dead."
Miko though looked right at the four members of Team Prime and was by far white as a ghost. Not only did Elsa didn't trip or stepped on any trap, but the Autobots sort of got caught in her little pranks. Arcee was the first to step forward with pink paint still dripping on her and was the most pissed off about it.
Arcee: "Miko, you got some explaining to do."
Miko lifted her hands up and tried to talk her way out of his.
Miko: "What! No! This isn't what you think! Those traps weren't meant for any of you. I mean you weren't suppose to step on any-"
But Ratchet had it with her excuses and decided to rain down some punishment on her.
Ratchet: "Oh no missy. You're not getting away this time! We want you to start cleaning up all those little traps you've placed across the base. After that, you will clean the armor off of Arcee and me. No exceptions!"
The Japanese girl heard all of that and had a real deadpan look on her face. She didn't expect the team to fall into those traps and now she was being punished for what she had done. So she tried to explain to them what really happened, yet they fail on deaf audio receptors.
Miko: "But-"
Ratchet: "No buts Miko! Start cleaning up your mess! Now…"
She remained silent and just couldn't believe what she was hearing. She didn't want her friends to get caught in her pranks; she just wanted Elsa to get trapped in her pranks. But she failed very miserably and there is no way in getting out of any of it. So she groaned to herself and left the lounge, stopping on the floor and heading to a janitor's closet for immediate cleaning. As she was leaving, Elsa looked on in shock to hear that those traps that were in place were meant for her. Looking to the team, she started to ask a few questions of her own.
Elsa de Sica: "Wait. So those traps that were in the base was Miko's doing?"
The medic turned to her and nodded.
Ratchet: "You know it. That troublesome girl has a knack when it comes to pulling pranks. A true annoyance if you ask me."
Elsa looked back at Miko leaving the room and thought about the traps that were placed along with her behavior. After putting two and two together, she came up a really good assumption.
Elsa de Sica: "I think those traps were meant for me, not you four."
The four Autobots turned to the girl and were surprised as Bulkhead stepped in and asked about that.
Bulkhead: "And how do you know that?"
She turned to the Wrecker and told him about what she experienced just recently.
Elsa de Sica: "Well, she was behaving oddly the moment John and I got in. Not to mention that I noticed the first trap that was in place and I tend to be more cautious on the rest. Still, the question remains is why Miko wants to pull a prank on me?"
As she was wondering about that, Jack decided to step in and told her why.
Jack: "I think Miko pulled those pranks on you because you beat her on her video games."
She turned to him and was surprised by what he said.
Elsa de Sica: "Really? She's still upset about that? I told her that I wasn't interested in playing games with her, but she wouldn't listen. And look where that got her."
Raf: "And because of that, she decided to pay you back by setting prank like traps on you, which our friends stumbled upon."
John Darby listened to them and reminded them all about what else the girl's at the agency could do.
John Darby: "Perhaps she should've known better. Elsa and all other girls could sense any type of danger from miles away, whether it is an ambush or a measly prank. It's one of the knacks of being a cybernetic girl."
Arcee heard that and felt a little offended about it.
Arcee: "Well I wish that we had that type of ability rather then getting ourselves caught. Miko is so gonna pay for this. It will take me cycles in cleaning this paint off me. Both inside and out."
John looked to her and had a slight smirk to his face.
John Darby: "If that's the case, then I say we give Miko a taste of her own medicine."
The group looked to Jack's father and was a little confused by this plan. But Jack got to him and knew what he was trying to say.
Jack: "You're thinking about pranking Miko? Not going to be that easy. Miko is pretty much the master of pranks. You try to pull something on her, she will figure it out and that will backfire in your face."
John looked to him and was still smiling.
John Darby: "Not unless it's a really good one. What makes a prank is how you use it. And what better way in pranking someone is using their fears against them. So, anyone can tell me what Miko's afraid of the most?"
The team looked to each other and whispered for a few seconds until they turned with smiles on their faces and troublesome looks.
Bulkhead: "Oh, we got one thing she's completely terrified of."
An hour later, Miko was using a mop and bucket to clean the waxy floor she put that Bumblebee slipped on. So far, she's already cleaned the remnants of pink paint Arcee stepping into. Though that was easy, cleaning the entire hallway is another problem. She was cleaning constantly while mumbling to herself.
Miko: "Stupid Elsa. Why would the Autobots get caught? Those traps were meant for Elsa, not them. Now look at me! I'm stuck in cleaning up this mess and Elsa got away so easily. I swear when this is all over; I'm going to teach her a lesson she will never forget. Mark my words."
As she was cleaning, she dipped her mop in the bucket since it was drying up. But as she dipped it, she noticed that the bucket was completely empty. She groaned to herself and looked a little upset.
Miko: "Great… Now I need to get more water. This day couldn't get any worse."
She then picked up the bucket and mop and carried it to the janitor's closet to refill. What she didn't know was that something was going to happen that could haunt her for the rest of her life. After a little walk, she made it to the closet and opened the door to get more cleaning water. She started to fill the bucket up with cleaning water, unaware of what was in there with her. But the moment she started to fill up, she looked up to see the last thing she wasn't expecting. Standing in front of her was a huge spider the size of her hand starring at her with those many eyes. She remained there like a deer in the headlights and didn't know how to react. That was when she came up with a reaction whenever she first saw a spider.
Miko: "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH! SPIDER!"
She backed away from the closet to get out, only to stick her boot in the bucket filled with cleaning water. This caused her to trip and fall to the floor and landed hard on the back, with the water splashing all over her. But she worried less about pain as she scampered away and crawled before bolting up and running for her dear life. She continued to run and turned to a couple of hallways, only to be stopped by more spiders hanging in front of her. Once again she screamed out loud and ran to the next hall, only to be stopped when there were more spiders hanging on the ceiling at her level. She panicked like crazy as she was going to get her friends for help.
Miko: "Spiders! Spiders are everywhere! Gross, gross, GROSS! I gotta go and get help!"
So she ran straight to the command center and tired to get help from her friends. She saw the commander center in reach and ran towards it, telling everyone what she saw.
Miko: "Guys! Help! The place is infested with spiders! I'm going to need some help in squishing them!"
But the moment she entered the huge room, she tripped on a thin wire without her noticing it. Doing so dropped a crate filled with spiders on top of the poor Japanese exchange student. Miko stood there like a statue and didn't know what to do, being that a pile of spiders surrounded her. But then she darted her eyes upwards to see a huge spider on her black and pink streak, pony/pigtail hair. Upon looking at that, she did the only thing she could do, roller her eyes back, and fainted completely, while buried with spiders. The moment she passed out, there was laughter echoing throughout the base as Team Prime and the human companions were laughing at the end result. John was laughing too while Elsa de Sica had a slight grin on her face.
Elsa de Sica: "So this Miko has Arachnophobia. This is new."
Bulkhead took a breather from all that laughing and told Elsa about Miko's fear.
Bulkhead: "Yeah, well after that whole Scraplet incident, Miko sort of freaked out when seeing a tiny spider crawling by. Since we wanted a little payback, I do believe this is the perfect revenge."
Arcee then looked down to John and had a wide smile to her face.
Arcee: "Got to admit, never though John would pull through with the resources we need. That's pretty clever of you."
John shrugged his shoulders and explained his actions.
John Darby: "What can I say? Jasper has that little magic shop downtown and it had some great tricks when you want to prank someone. That includes all the fake spiders you need for someone who hates them. Hell, if it hadn't been for your heights, then this plan wouldn't work from the start."
Jack though turned to his dad and asked about purchasing those fake spiders.
Jack: "Speaking of which dad, how were you able to afford all of those things?"
John turned to his son and smirked widely.
John Darby: "Let me say for one thing Jackie boy. When you work for the Agency, your payment is really fair."
The moment he said that, they all heard a heavy engine entering the base. They all turned to a tunnel and saw a custom-built semi truck entering the command center. As soon as it entered fully, it transformed and shifted into Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots. Obviously he went out of a drive during the whole pranking fiasco and didn't have a clue what was going on within the base. The moment he changed into his bipedal mode, he looked around and noticed a few things that were off. Around the human lounge he saw Arcee covered in pink dripping paint and Ratchet drenched in tar and feathers. To his left, he saw an unconscious Miko covered in fake spiders. Looking back and forth, he looked towards his team and demanded some answers.
Optimus Prime: "Autobots, what is the meaning of this?"
The group remained silent and didn't know what to say. Finally Bulkhead stepped in and asked who would go first.
Bulkhead: "So uh… Who wants to explain to the boss on what happened?"
That's it for chapter fourteen, A.K.A. the third filler for this story. Got to admit, this was pretty funny on how I wrote it. Now I know there are some people who will be confused as to why Miko managed to put up traps of this magnitude and how she managed to get them up in the first place. Well I got to say that it is a cartoon and anything can happen. You just need to worry less about the complicated stuff and more about the stuff that matters. Please don't bombard me with questions like this cause this is my story and I enjoyed writing. Now that the funny stuff is out of the way, it's time to get a little serious on the next chapter. Basically this is going to be a prequel to what I have in store following that one. Now let me be brief and say that this isn't the Decepticons returning. That will be a little further ahead. It's more of an origin story. You'll know it when you read it. Hope everyone had a great New Year! Please Review.
