It was supposed to be routine. Get in and get out, which is why I sent in the two assassins for this. Then the whole building went into some freak electrical storm and Stark decided that he was the best man for the job and came barreling into the place guns blazing. In his defense he did save a few civilians and managed to find the problem and turn it off faster then Natasha or Clint could have, but it didn't stop me from giving him a solid chewing out when we got back.

"-reckless endangerment of the whole team!" I continued shouting long after Tony had already made his departure of the room. Scowling after him, I picked up the nearest object, which thankfully happened to be a pillow, and chucked it at the closed door while still grumbling under my breath.
"Look at it this way Steve," Clint called, flicking to another channel on the TV, "It could be a lot worse."
"How could it get any worse than that guy?" I demanded of him, coming over and sinking onto the couch. He landed on the news channel where some reporter was interviewing Victor Von Doom. "Well, Tony could have turned out like that guy."
I looked up from rubbing my face and eyed the man warily. "What makes you say that?"
"Look at the similarities Cap," he reasoned, "both of them lost their parents pretty young, both are rich and relatively famous, and both wear hulking suits of armor. We're lucky we got snarky Stark, rather than an evil Iron Man. That could be a potential nightmare."
I looked at the box, back at the closed door, then finally spoke to the ceiling, "Suppose having a guy named Doom on our team would be kind of a bad omen."
"That's the spirit," he praised before flipping the channel.
I had the end of this done for weeks, but it just didn't seem central enough to the character pairings. Hope you still like it for what it's worth.
