The Avengers and Guardians all sat around after dinner. "What are we going to do now?" asked Hawkeye.
"We just need to stay close to Snowflake. Keep her in our sights at all times and we need to believe in her," said Steve putting an arm around Snowflake. Everyone agreed to that.
No one noticed a new presence in the room. Loki was watching smiling evily.
"That won't work my dear captain. You can't keep her in your sight all the time." He nodded at Pitch to go a head with the plan. Pitch smiled and let his Nightmare horses free. They all attacked the Avengers and Guardains at once.
"Nightmares!" cried Jack seeing them. It was crazy. No one could get to each other because the Nightmares were keeping them apart. Steve, Jack and Midnight were freaking out because no one was near Snowflake. Then everything went black.
Snowflake looked around being the only one that could see in the dark. She spotted Pitch and Loki heading towards her. "Hello monster, how are you?" asked Pitch.
"I'm not a monster," said Snowflake.
"All dear, but you are. Do you realize what you did to Jack?" said Loki.
Snowflake kept telling herself to stay clam. Then she remembered what MiM said, "Keep calm and let it go." She smiled to herself.
"What are you smiling about?" asked Pitch.
"This," said Snowflake as she let her powers go. It was the most wonderful sight for the Avengers and Guardians to see. Ice went everywhere and froze the horses and good dark horses came and attacked the Nightmares. When all the Nightmares were gone Pitch and Loki dissapeared. Snowflake was lying on the ground.
"Amanda!" called Steve and Jack running to her side. Middnight and Sandy ran off to find MiM. Everyone else stood there shocked.
"Not Snowflake," said Tooth about to cry.
"Does anyone know what happened?" asked North. Everyone shook their heads. Then everyone looked at MiM. MiM shined his light and came down in his human form.
"What happened MiM?" asked Midnight.
"She is alright. She just let her powers go. She will now be able to control her powers. Don't worry. Just let her sleep. She needs rest." Everyone nodded and watched Steve pick up Snowflake.
In Stark Towers everyone was trying to figure out what to do. "So she can control her powers now. None of this makes sense. I think this kid is hiding a lot of things from us," said Tony.
"What makes you think that Snowflake is hiding something?" asked Jack mad that someone would think that.
"Jack think about it. She is hiding something. I feel it, in my belly," said North. Jack frowned knowing North's belly is never wrong.
"Fine your right." Everyone nodded.
"Hey guys, where's Hawkeye?" asked Natasha realizing Hawkeye wasn't here.
"I dont' know. JARVIS can you look up where he is for me?" said Tony.
"Certainly sir," said JARVIS. "He is in Snowflake's room talking with her. Shall I tell him you want him?"
"No, but pull up the video and audio for us. I want to know what they are talking about," said Tony smiling. JARVIS pulled up the video and audio for them.
"Snowflake please tell me what you're hiding. I know there is a lot more to your story then you are telling us," said Hawkeye.
"I can't Hawkeye. I just can't," siad Snowflake almost crying.
"Yes you can. I know you can." Snowflake sighed.
"Fine I'll tell you, as long as the others stop listening." Tony stood there shocked while everyone else laughed. Hawkeye looked at Snowflake then the camera.
"How did you know that they are listening? I didn't even know." Snowflake laughed.
"I can just tell. Turn it off Tony and just come in here. I guess you all can kow." Tony turned it off and everyone came into Snowflake's room. Steve and Jack walked up to Snowflake to sit next to her but she held up her hand to stop them. Everyone could tell that was hard for Snowflake.
What do you think she is hiding? I'll give you a hint, it has to do with one of her powers and how she got it. What you will read next in the next chapter will most likely come as a surpise.
