Chapter 12- A Time To Gather
Nico's POV
Then this ugly, 8 foot tall, green monster starts grunting towards me and picks me up by one of my legs. He- assuming its a he- sniffs. Then says questionably,"Demigod?"
"Yeah! And your a monster! Now let me go!" I attempted at wiggling free with no luck.
"That's not very nice." He bellowed in his deep voice.
"Let me go!" I yelled back.
"Gant? What's taking so long?" I heard a female's voice in the not so far distance.
The giant green monster holding me by my foot answered,"Foolish demigod!"
"Who you callin' foolish?!" I tried taking a few swings at him but it was no good. I tried manipulating the shadows around me for my benefit, also to no use.
A beautiful girl walked through the fog up to me and ugly-Gant. She had long black hair with random braids throughout her hair. Olive skin with a few freckles placed also on her skin and purple almond eyes. She was wearing black spandex/jeans, black shirt with a maroon trench coat with black lace, and black boots.
It just so happened I knew this girl. She is a daughter of Hecate, and a friend. "Raven?!" I shouted at her in suprise.
"Nico?!" She stepped closer to me. "Oh my gods! What are you doing here? Oh Gant let him go!" She rambled.
The big ugly dropped me and I landed on my head. "Ow!"
She rushed to my side,"Ooo! You alright?"
"I'll live." I rubbed the back of my head.
Percy's POV
That night Chiron thought we should have a nice calm sing-along at the bomb fire to relax everyone, and invited me and my siblings to attend the show. Like we haven't been to about a million of them before?! However I agreed and thought it'd be something good in a day of bad.
I waked down to the amphitheater with Thalia and Jason. The two kept talking and tried making conversation with me, but for once I wasn't in the mood for chatting. We took our seats in the stands and watched.
Many children from the Apollo cabin performed, and they all did amazing. But one daughter from their cabin, Amora-I think she said her name was, sang this song at the end that got to me.
"Hello everybody. My name is Amora Young, and I'm newly claimed but I've prepared a song for you all. This a song called Adore You by a mortal named Miley Cyrus. Umm... Yea. Well, here I go.

As she performed I let a single tear slide down my cheek and disappear. I crossed my arms and leaned back for the rest of the show. I know, I know. Why am I being so emotional about a stupid song? Well it's because all I thought about was Annabeth. All I want to do is rescue her! But my team thinks it'll be as suicide idea mission. They're right of coarse but that doesn't mean I like it.
"I'll see you guys back at the tent later." I whispered to Beta and Omega as they watched the show.
"Okay." Jason replied.
"You want company?" Thalia asked concerned.
"No. Thanks though. I got up and walked away.
Nico's POV
"I'll live." I rubbed the back of my head.
Raven helped me to my feet,"C'mon! I'll make you some tea, while you explain why you're back on Earth."
She dragged me to a well hidden hut behind a load of trees.
"Welcome to our home -for a bit anyways. Gant you can stay guard outside." Raven commanded. Gant planted himself down by the stairs to the hut.
"So... How's the search for your sister going?" I said making small talk as she went to the small kitchen in the back of the hut to make tea.
"Not having any good luck that's for sure." She said mixing the final ingredient.
She handed me a small cup and took a seat in the chair across from me. She lifted her cup up as a toast before taking a small sip. "Why don't you drink?"
"I think you know well why, why I'm not drinking. (A/n: did that make sense? Oh well..)" I wafted the steam coming from the cup. "αλήθεια φίλτρο? Am I correct?"
"Your getting smarter aren't you?" She pierced her lips.
"Well... I learn from my mistakes."
"I have to get honest to goodness information from you somehow."
"You could try asking me. Then I could give you a honest answer."
She nodded,"I'm sorry."
I nodded. "What did you want to know?"
"Why are you back on Earth?"
"Can I say it's complicated?"
"No."
"Okay... Well I got assigned a new mission by Chaos to return here to send to you a message."
"Oh really?"
"Yeah."
"Care to share?"
"For a price... Maybe..." I cracked a smile at teasing her.
"Shut up!" She slapped me playfully. "Tell me!"
"You're not going to like it." I warned.
Her face drained. "Is it about-about.. Uh?"
"Thea? Yeah."
"Tell me."
"Stop looking." She gave me wide eyes in response. "His words! I swear!" I put my hands up in surrender.
"I-I-I trust you." She stumbled out. I gave her a small smile for comfort. "Umm... I think you should go."
I put my hand on her back,"Okay. If you-"
"Now! Leave now!" She shouted at me. She bolted to her room. I could hear her silently sob.
I wish I could help her. I knew this would tear her apart. Thea is her younger sister but she went 'missing' about three years ago, and Raven has been searching for her sense then. That's how we met. Two earth years ago I was assigned a mission and ran into her and fell for her truth potion, and so on.
I suddenly felt a tingle in the back of my head.
Percy's POV
Once I was up and away from the crowd at the amphitheater, I went to the cabins. I stalked by the Poseidon cabin remembering good memories, and fought the urge to rush in. The urge overwhelmed me. I had to go in. I had to know if Poseidon had anymore children he would soon disown or allow Zeus to kill them. I needed some kind of news to distract me from everything that's going on.
I opened the door. It squeaked. I saw two bunks occupied beside the bed I use to sleep in. I looked over at the wall. The Minotaur horn still hung there where I left it. I tiptoed over to the wall, careful to not wake either of the occupants. I took my possession into my hands once again. I'm taking this home with me.
"Mmmhmm...?" I heard a girls voice groan from one of the beds. So I'd have a sister if I stayed here? I walked over to the beds. Oh! What do ya know? I'd have two sisters!
I looked at the clock they had stationed on the nightstand. It's getting late I need to get back to my tent.
Nico's POV
I suddenly felt a tingle in the back of my head. It must be Thalia.
"Thalia?"
"Nico!" We mind-Messaged.
"What's wrong?"
"We need you to get to Camp Half-Blood as soon as you can."
"What's wrong?"
"It's Annabeth."
"I'm on my way." I took one long look at the door of Raven's escape, then disappeared into the shadows.
A/N: okay so I think this is one of the longest chapters I've written in a while, I feel pretty good about it. What do you guys think? How'd you guys like my character Raven I introduced to you? FYI for the future: more OC to come in the next chapter or two!
