A/N: Hi. Here is the next to last chapter to Daddy's Little Girl.

Disclaimer: I own only the amulet. Everything else is Butch Hartman.

Danny woke up to a ray of light coming from the windows. He grunted as he got up and wiped the sleep from his eyes. He left to check on Rosie as soon as he got all of the sleep out of his system. As he left his room, he didn't here the annual Santa debate, which was weird since it would be at it's peak at this time.

Once he got to his room, he opened the door and found Rosie sleeping. Smiling, he closed the door and went downstairs to get some breakfast. What he came to was a sight that said the world was ending. His father and his mother were sitting on the couch, silently. Danny tried sneaking back upstairs to go back to sleep and wake up for real.

"Daniel, where are you going?" Jack asked.

Danny had a thought that kept him from answering. I have to be dreaming. Dad has never called me 'Daniel' in my life.

"Back upstairs to try and get some more sleep and really wake up." Danny said nervously.

"Why don't you stay. We're about to open presents, sweetie." Maddie said,"JAZZ, GET DOWN HERE AND GET ROSIE TOO!" Maddie called. Danny pinched himself to make sure he wasn't dreaming. When he felt a sting of pain, he let go.

Danny, sure that this was not a dream, left to make himself a quick breakfast, so he didn't here Jack ask Maddie,"Who's Rosie?"

When Jazz and Rosie got downstairs after doing their morning routines, Danny came in the living room. They all sat down and, before anyone could protest, Rosie got up and got the four boxes that were given to her from Clockwork and ran saying,"I'll be back."

Once she returned, she came upon three Fentons looking at her weirdly and one with a warm smile on his face.

She gave a half truth,"I got Danny some presents for letting me stay with y'all for today." Her grandma and aunt gave an 'oh' but her grandpa gave her a disproving face, which she ignored, but Danny didn't. What is dad doing and why did he give her that kind of stare?

They started opening presents after that. Danny got a new Fenton pistol—which he put on safety until he could destroy it, a new shirt that was exactly like the one he always wears and an upgraded version of Doomed. Jazz got a new headband that was a Christmas red and a new psychology book.

When they were finished Danny told his parents that he had something he had to tell Rosie about and left with her upstairs. Once he got to his room he told Rosie to wait and came back to open the door. She walked in to find the four presents she put in there and one extra present.

"Who's that extra present for?" She asked.

"It's for you. I made it, myself." Danny answered.

"You made it?"

"Yep." She opened it and pulled out a necklace with a crystal blue rose, that had a very faint green glow, as a charm.

She gasped, taking in the beauty it held,"You made this?" Danny nodded as a reply. He helped her put it on. She looked at the mirror to look at it. She, then, hugged Danny and told him a million times 'THANK YOU!'

"Now let's open the presents that Clockwork gave us." The first one was addressed to Danny. He opened it and pulled out a medallion with a golden cog with the initials 'CW' on it and was glowing a light blue.

It also had a note,'Daniel, this is a time medallion with some of my time powers in it. You know what to do. Dan did it's to you to gain the same powers. Rose has the same gift.' After reading the note, Danny looked at Rosie, then back at the medallion. He put the medallion down and opened his second gift.

It was an amulet with twelve symbols around the edges—glowing white— three symbols glowing red, green, and blue—in triangle formation—and a symbol glowing bright purple. This too had a note,'Danny Phantom, I'm glad I got to meet you a few months ago. I sensed something in you. That is why you have my amulet. I will train you on how to use it later. Right now, come to Stopwatch's tower after you have opened the next gift. It is something helpful in the future. Put the amulet on in your ghost form.' Danny was speechless and so was Rosie.

"What are you going to do?" Rosie asked after she stopped looking at it.

"I'm going to put it on." Danny said as he transformed. He put the amulet over his neck and it fell down to his chest, glowing brightly at its new owner. Danny transformed back and the amulet was still around his neck.

"Whoa." Rosie said in a faint voice. Danny opened his last gift. It was the gem from seven months ago, only it didn't have the dull feeling and it didn't glow.

"I thought you delivered that to Walker." Jazz said, walking into Danny's room. Danny told her about what he had to do for Walker and even showed her the gem.

"That's what I thought too." Danny replied. And why is it gray? He thought to himself. There was a note at the bottom of the box. 'This is the real gem you tried to get several months ago. The gem you gave to Walker was a fake. Next time, follow your instinct. This gem stores your power and only you can use it. This goes with the amulet and it goes on your belt.'

"I wonder who gave me this." Danny said, as he transformed and clipped it to his belt. Jazz noticed the time medallion on Danny's bed.

"Danny, did Clockwork give you this?" She asked, gesturing to the medallion.

"Yeah, and he gave me one too." Rosie said. Jazz read the note that came with it.

"Danny, I've been meaning to ask you this." Jazz said.

"What?"

"How did Dan get to this time period?"

"From what Clockwork said, when he put the medallion inside of me, he got a copy of it and thought of when he wanted to be. That's how he locked me into that time."

"So if you put this into you, you'll be able to time travel?"

"Yep. But if I know anything from my past experience with time travel, I'll stay to this time." Danny said, referring to when Vlad was married to his mom. That still made him shudder. He grabbed the medallion and exhaled knowing that it might be painful. He turned his hand intangible along with the medallion and phased it into his chest. He had to withhold a scream, so that his parents wouldn't come up stairs and so that Jazz and Rosie wouldn't worry. He took his hand out and left the medallion. He then felt it dissolve into his core and a rush of power coursed through him. His amulet made three triangles that went past the edges and the white symbols started moving.

"Woa." Was all Danny could say.

"Did it work?" Jazz asked.

"Of course it worked! I mean, look at his amulet." Rosie said. Danny looked down and noticed the changes the amulet made to adjust to the power of time.

Danny sighed to himself because he knew that Rosie was going to go through the pain. He grabbed Rosie's present and phased his hand inside. He pulled out the medallion and looked at Rosie.

"You trust me right?" Danny interrogated.

"Yeah." Rosie answered.

"This is gonna hurt, okay?" Danny never noticed that the amulet morphed into the center symbol and was glowing purple. The medallion started sparking, turning the glow from blue to purple. Only Jazz noticed this.

"Okay." Danny turned his hand and the medallion intangible, phasing it into Rosie gently. Rosie didn't even flinch or scream. She just stared his hand was. He took it out, leaving the medallion. She glowed a brilliant white for a second, then the light died.

"How do you feel?" Danny asked. Before Rosie could reply, she glowed a bright blue. The glow kept getting brighter and brighter until nothing could be seen. When it dimmed, Rosie was there, but something was wrong. She didn't look like a twelve-year-old, she looked like a... three-year-old!

"That felt weird." She said, oblivious to the stares Danny and Jazz were giving her. Danny created a mirror out of ice and handed it to her saying,"Look." When she saw what happened, she screamed. She had her clothes, but they were smaller and her necklace was smaller. Her hair was let loose and it fell to the small of her back.

She let out a grin,"I'm my age. I'M THREE!" She said with excitement.

"This is the weirdest thing I have ever seen, and I've seen lots of weird things." Jazz said.

"Maybe Clockwork can explain," Danny said. At the mention of Father Time, Danny remembered that he was supposed to meet someone at his tower. He checked the time and saw that it was 1:27.

"How are we going to get to Clockworks tower? Mom and dad are most likely in the lab if they didn't here Rosie's scream." The gray gem flashed white before a portal opened up at the door of Danny's room.

"Well, there's a way." Rosie said.

"If mom and dad ask, I'm at Sam's." Danny said to his sister.

Before he could step through, Jazz grabbed his hand and said,"Remember your promise."

"Got it." She let go and Danny grabbed Rosie and stepped through the portal. It disappeared as soon as he stepped through.

Jazz thought 'I hope he does tell them.' as she closed her brother's door like she would never see him again.

When Danny stepped through the portal, he was greeted by a copious amount of clocks, gears, and pendulums. He walked until he found Clockwork and a hooded figure staring at him and Rosie.

"Hi Clockwork. Mind telling me how Rosie ended up turning three after having the medallion put into her?"

"All in due time Daniel." Clockwork said in a monotone.

"I swear, sooner or later I'm not going to figure out one of your time riddles and it will bring the destruction of the world and ghost zone." Danny said shaking his head.

"That's what I told Stopwatch." Power said.

"Who are you?" Rosie asked.

"I'm the Ancient of Power."

"You're the one who sent me the necklace and gem." Danny said.

"Clever boy, but it's an amulet. I need you here to teach you a few new tricks."

"Like what?" Danny asked with interest. Power grinned. Teaching a student was going to be fun after all.

"First, I'm going to teach you a spell that will help you very soon."

"Wait, ghost can use magic?"

"Yes, but they use dead magic."

"Is it because you're dead?"

"It's not because we're dead, it's because that is what we're limited to. Look, I can tell you all of this later, but you need to learn this before you go back home." Power said, very annoyed.

"What's first." Danny said.

It was 7:00 when Danny and Rosie got back. Jazz was in her room reading and Jack and Maddie were no where to be seen. Danny knew that it was time to tell his parents the truth. He searched the house and basement, but they weren't there.

"Jazz, where are mom and dad?" Danny called.

"I think they left to get supplies for a new ghost gun." Jazz called back.

"Do you know when they'll be back?"

"How about now." Maddie said from the door. Her hands were full of bags that contained parts to a new invention.

"Where's dad?" Danny asked. Jazz came downstairs to watch the whole thing with Rosie.

"He's behind me." Maddie moved to put the pieces on the table, Jack following, but with a grim expression.

Danny told his parents to sit on the couch, which they complied to. His amulet morphed to the blue symbol and was glowing brightly, causing the temperature to drop ten degrees.

When his parents noticed this, Maddie asked,"Danny, where did you get that?"

Danny took a deep breath,"A ghost gave it to me, as a Christmas present."

"Don't worry sweetie, we'll get it off of you." Maddie said, about to run downstairs to get a sawblade.

"Wait. It belongs to me now."

"That's silly. How could a ghostly object belong to a human?" Danny never noticed Jack put his hand on the gun strapped to his belt.

"Because...I'm not fully...human."

"Sweetie, I think you need to sit down, you're not feeling well." Danny never said anything, he just sighed and transformed into Danny Phantom. He heard multiple gasps. When he looked up, he saw Jack pointing the gun, he put his hand on, at him. Maddie didn't move at all.

Danny felt heartbroken. His parents didn't accept him. His parents didnt care that he was part ghost. They saw him as a ghost. His dad shot at him before he could move, and the blast hit him in the chest. He fell back. His parents, didn't see their son, the saw a ghost. He felt someone try to help him up. When he came out of his thoughts, Rosie was trying to help him up, in her ghost form. He saw Jack pointing the gun at her. Immediately he put a shield up as soon as he shoot, but it was a purple color. If his parents didn't accept him, then that left one choice: run away and never come back. But first, they had to be stunned long enough.

With that thought is mind, he summoned his ice powers and shot the floor beneath them, until it had a hard, slippery surface. As his 'dad' started to slip, he told Rosie to keep his parents busy until he came and grabbed her. She nodded in understanding, they had to leave.

He ran upstairs and started packing everything he thought he would need. He never saw Maddie helping Jack up to try and take the gun from him. As he was packing, Jazz was packing up as well, to make it up to him, seeing as this was partly her fault. She packed a lot less and left to Danny's room when she was done. When she got there, Danny was still packing his and Rosie's stuff.

She said very confidently,"I'm coming with you." When she said that,Danny stared at her like she had gone crazy.

"No." He said bluntly.

"It wasn't a question. I'm coming and you're not going to stop me. It is partly my fault that your running away anyway." She stated. Danny sighed, cursing his sisters determination, never noticing that his own was reacting with the amulet, making it easier to use his ghost powers and pack up. Putting one last item in his bag, he closed it. Then he phased downstairs to get Rosie, leaving behind Jazz. He quickly grabbed Rosie by the waist and phased up and out of the house, picking up Jazz in the process.

Danny had to make a stop before he did what he was about to do. He found the mansion that belonged to Sam's parents. He flew over to the balcony that went to Sam's room. Knocking on the door, he waited. When Sam opened the door, he went in and put Jazz and Rosie down. He went over to see Sam. She was in her usual outfit.

"So Danny how'd it go when you told your parents?" Sam asked. When Danny didn't say anything, she asked,"Did the accept you?" Danny shook his head and Sam gasped. She knew what would happen if his parents didn't want him, he would leave Amity Park and never step foot in it again. They had made a plan two days ago. She would give him enough money to get a house and he could live there. Where he lived was up to him. She had asked could she come, but he said no saying that she needed to be with Tuck to help him. It also ment that they were never going to see each other again. She gained a few tears in her eyes. She was going to lose the one person she ever loved. Before Danny said anything else, she gave him the most passionate kiss yet. Danny knew he would miss her, so he returned the kiss with as much passion as Sam. The broke for air and Sam still had tears in her eyes. Danny got Jazz on his back and Rosie in his arms. He walked to her window.

Before he left Sam grabbed him bye the ankle, when he started floating, never noticing a small white flash that appeared. She said,"Promise me that you'll move on. That you'll forget about me." It hurt her to say these words, but Danny had to move on for his own good.

Danny replied,"I promise." She let him go and he flew off with his sister and their daughter in tow. Sam went to bed and had rivers of tears in her eyes.

He put them down behind a forgotten house.

He told Rosie,"Put up a shield around you and Jazz and never take it down until I come back." Before she could ask why, Danny flew off. She complied hoping she would get her answer soon. Danny flew to the middle of Amity Park and saw Jack and Maddie running to him. He couldn't see what they were doing but he made a guess. He quickly focused all of his thoughts on him and Rosie. He noticed the white ring around him, but it never moved. He closed his eyes as he kept thinking of himself and Rosie while the ring got brighter and brighter. When it was as bright as bright as a high powered light bulb, it changed its color to green. Then he said,"Forget." in Esperanto, using the spell his new mentor taught him. The ring exploded in all directions, going over everything and everyone. Danny waited until it went over the abandoned house he put Rosie and Jazz. Rosie's shield was still up when he got there. He smiled to himself and landed next to Rosie. She was looking at him like he performed his own magic trick, which wouldn't be too far from the truth. She took down her shield.

"What was that?" Jazz asked, seriously freaked out.

"I'll explain later." Danny said. He put Jazz on his back and had Rosie in his arms. He took flight, leaving behind the city he once protected.

Jack and Maddie saw the ring that Danny created going towards them. Jack held out his hands and a glowing pink shield came from them. When the ring went through the shield it pushed something out of Jack and onto the ground. The shield protected them from the spell Danny cast on the city, but the shield didn't protect the ghost that had come out of Jack.

The ghost had black hair in thorn-like locks, pale blue skin, a white and red cape, a white suit with black gloves and boots. He also had fangs and red eyes, which were closed. Maddie was infuriated. This ghost caused her to lose both of her children, and they had finally found out why Danny was acting so strange.

What she saw next made her see red. A black ring flashed into existence. Splitting, one ring went up, while the other went down. When both rings were gone, the ghost was not there anymore, what was there was none other than Vlad Masters. He was still unconscious.

She pulled out a Fenton pistol and shot him in the abdominem. He startled awake, to find his dear Maddie attacking him. She shot him again in the leg. Blinding pain was what he felt, and blinding rage was what she felt.

"Maddie dear, why are you attacking me with ghost weapons?" Vlad asked.

"You caused me to lose my children! You caused them to probably never want their parents again!" She shot him again.

"Please think about this Maddie. I have no reason to do such things." Vlad was starting to panic. Maddie didn't even listen as she powered the gun and aimed at Vlad's head.

"I know what you are Vlad. You're a ghost." She was about to shoot, but a rather beefy hand was placed on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Jack. His face was hard and unreadable.

He turned toward her and said,"Don't do it. You'll regret it." Slowly she powered the gun down and walked toward Vlad.

"Thank you pal. You really-" Vlad started.

"Shut it ghost." Jack said, silencing him immediately. When Maddie finally got close to Vlad, she backhanded him, very hard. He was knocked out. Maddie then broke down into sobs, her rage at the old man disappearing. She would never forgive him. Jack came next to her and put a hand on her shoulder as she cried.

"We will find them. Ok Mads? We will find them and be a family again. I promise." Jack said as neutrally as he could. He was... he didn't know what to feel. He was angry at Vlad, but also hurt by what he did, with himself no less. He had to be strong for Maddie but eventually his resolve would crumble. He picked up his wife as she was sobbing and walked home, leaving his used to be college friend on the road. He wasn't lying, he would find them. Fentons keep their promises. If any one knew, it would be Danny.

A/N: And thus, The End. Not really. I will try to update as soon as possible, hopefully tomorrow. The next chapter is the second ending.

The spell Danny used only affects humans. It wipes everyone's memories of him, it leaves holes where Danny should be. If someone talked to him, it would be like talking to a shadow. When it hit Vlad, he lost his memories of Danny being half ghost, but remembers that he is Maddie's son.

I will write a sequel. If you can guess which ending I'll use, you get a sneak peak, Clockwork style. If you have questions, I will be happy to answer them. R&R. No Flames please.
