When Emma came back home, she smiled softly, closing the door behind her. All felt good again, being back with Jay. But they really had to fix this mess within their town.
Emma thought she should call Manny back, but she stopping in the dining room where her mom was sitting and surrounded by posters of the dead children and she was making more red ribbons.
"Mom.." Emma was shocked. She walked over and stormed in front of her mother, "You need to stop obsessing with this!"
Spike looked up just as shocked and snapped, "Emma! These were children!"
"Whose children?" Emma snapped. Spike fell silent. Emma threw her arms out, "Why haven't we met the parents?! What are their names?! What are the childrens' names?"
The look in Spike's eyes showed Emma she was confused for a moment too, but then that cold stare entered her eyes like she was being possessed. Emma was beginning to see something and squinted her eyes at her mother.
It's like Spike didn't feel the need to answer her anymore and said in a mono-tone, "I don't want you hanging around Manny anymore. I've spoken with her mother. I had no idea the stuff she was into, and dating a werewolf!? Such beasts.."
"I'm dating a vampire!" as soon as the words slipped, Emma's eyes widened and she covered her mouth. Spike looked slapped in the face.
Emma looked away quickly and stuttered, "I-I didn't'.. .what I'm saying is-" the cold stare in her mothers eyes began to scare her, "Mom, what's wrong with you?" she felt her lower lip tremble.
"She's a BAD girl." Emma heard and gasped, turning her head so she could see children sitting at the other side of the table. Emma fearfully backed up, noticing who those kids were and how dead they looked. It was like Ghosts were haunting the whole town, now she understood. "Mom, they're not real!" she yelled.
Her mother was too far gone, grabbing Emma's arm from getting away any further and Emma whimpered as Spike moved Emma's hair off her neck and saw the old bite scar from Jay. "You are dating a vampire! And you let him feed off you!?"
"No, it's not like that-" Emma tried to explain, "He's NOT bad. We fight evil together."
"You do?" Spike, for being such a petite woman, was scaring Emma to bits. She had to turn around and run away from the look on her face, she stared at Emma like she was herself a monster. "Snake, get her!"
Emma yelped as she ran from her mother but Snake and his friend Kent suddenly popped out from behind the kitchen, both grabbing Emma. "MOM! STOP! DAD! This isn't you! You're being-" Kent put a cloth over her face, and Emma slowly dropped to the floor, Snake putting her softly down.
Emma was passing out, overcome by the fumes from the cloth. "You were right." Emma heard her father say, looking up at Spike and then the dead children, "It was easy."
There are the two children now stood above Emma. The boy is holding a bottle of chloroform in his hand and Emma heard him say to her parents, "I told you. It'll get even easier."
Emma whimpers, but her eyes begin to shut and blur.
The little girl beside the boy cried, "You have to stop them. You have to make them go away. Forever."

Meanwhile in Manny's room, she was pacing back and forth, talking to Jane on her cellphone and trying to be quiet. She had no idea where her mother went or what she had planned for her. "Something weird is happening, Jane. I'm scared. I'm locked in my room, a-and I just need you to get Lucas, ok?" she then gasped, hearing her door unlock and quickly hung out, throwing her phone away to hide it.
The door opened and Manny walked over to it, "Mom we really have to talk."
Manny stopped in her tracks, noticing her mom now surrounded by several other local town parents.
Manny's mother spoke, "It's time to go. Oh, and get your coat. It's chilly out."
Manny, very confused, asked, "Go? Go where?"
Manny's mother, now angry, snapped at her, "I said get your coat, witch!" Manny's eyes widened and she slammed the door hard on her mother who tried to lung at her, and the other parents began to fight over the door with Manny as she tried desperately to keep them out.

"What do we know about these kids?" Spinner asked Lucas, standing in his Den since he was spending the holiday here with Jane. Him and Lucas were trying to solve this problem, but even with all the books in this room, nothing was helping.
"The kids aren't the problem, the town is." Lucas taunted.
"But it started with those kids, that's when everyone went crazy." Spinner reminded, "How come not with somebody else? Emma's mom said it herself, there were other countless victims. But why speak now?"
Lucas thought about it, "They were kids.."
"Whose kids?" Spinner challenged, "We've seen no parents, and no names. Emma was onto something earlier. What if these kids were…made up or something?"
"We saw their graves."
"That means nothing. We also heard of the markings on their hands, likely by a witch, but we never saw them." Spinner explained, "And who found the kids? Why can't we find actual pictures of the murder or the case on here?" he pointed to his laptop. They were trying to break into the police department files but there was nothing in the system about these kids.
"You think some witch made it up?"
The door of the Den opened and a very familiar redhead came walking in, "A witch, maybe. A gypsy? Definitely."
"Ellie!" Spinner gaped in shock. Ellie stood there with a smirk on her face, "Hey guys- where is everyone?" she asked.
Lucas paused after he got over the shock that Ellie was back. "Uh- good question..." As if on cue, Jane came into the room too, breathless.
"It's Manny!" Jane quickly explained to her brother, "She begged me to get you. She said her Mom had gone crazy, locked her in her room after she found spell books under Manny's bed a-and then I heard fighting-" Jane saw Ellie and did a double take, "Oh- hi."
"Hi." Ellie greeted happily with a wave. She was happy to be back. She turned back towards the guys, "It's Alex. The gypsy, remember her? Sean went to go get Jay."
"How do you know?" Spinner asked.
Ellie smirked while shrugging her left shoulder, "I'm a powerful witch that's why." She then rolled her eyes, "I saw the news. The reporter showed pictures of the symbols found on those kids, it's a gypsy sign, not a witches symbol or anything santanic. And the only gypsy I know in town is Alex."
"If Manny gets hurt I'll kill her." Growled Lucas, his blood boiling and about to wolf out. "Lets go." He told them, guiding them out of the house.
"I need to go somewhere first. I'll meet you downtown." Ellie told them.
"Downtown?" repeated Jane, stopping by the guys at the door.
Ellie nodded, avoiding their eyes for a moment before she explained, "There is a town meeting tonight. I don't think it'll be good. I saw some…..things. Just go, okay? And find Manny." With that, she left.

Jay couldn't believe it. Standing in front of him was Sean Cameron, in the flesh. "You're telling me you're back because you think Alex is up to something?"
Sean rolled his eyes, shutting Jay's front door, "I know she is. Me and Ellie have been watching the news, the world is talking about the 'alleged' monster town. This place is going to turn into a freakshow of 'believers' coming to visit."
"We're like the new Rosewell," Muttered Jay, "Only no aliens, just demons."
"Exactly," Sean sighed, "Anyways. We saw the pictures of the symbols that were on the children."
"Supposedly on the children," Jay corrected, "Nobody has actually seen the real bodies of them."
"Ellie knew those symbols weren't from witches, but from gypsies. How many gypsy's do we know though in town?" he snickered.
"It is Alex." Jay then paused, "Did Ellie find out what the symbol means?"
"It's a hex. It represents death and hauntings.."
Jay put that together quickly. He snickered and whispered, "Fuck. She did this." Jay growled, "Alex sent these ghosts after me.. to make me feel," he licked his lips, "More awful than I already did.."
"You look better." Sean said. "You look well."
"I am, thanks…" the two shared a nod. Jay sucked in a deep breath but furrowed his eyebrows, "So Alex sent ghosts to haunt me. But what do the kids have anything to do with it?"
"I think it's the town that is more Alex's target. It's causing a riot. Maybe those kids are haunting certain people to cause this riot?..." Sean drifted off as he cringed, "We don't know why. We're close though…I feel it."
Jay nodded and walked towards the door, "Lets go then."
"Jay." Sean had looked down at his phone and saw an urgent text. Jay turned and waited impatiently for Sean to speak up. Sean dug his phone into his pocket and led the way quickly as he explained, "Ellie said to meet them downtown. The whole town has met up and supposedly people are putting up stakes."
Jay walked quickly with him and shook his head, "Wait, like actual witch trial stakes?"
Sean looked worriedly back at Jay before nodding. "Yea."

Alex locked up the warehouse, glancing over her shoulder wearily as she did so.. It was a cold black night and she knew what was happening downtown. She needed a safer place to go since the warehouse was located downtown central. When she went to leave, she was pushed back against the warehouse.
"Pretty stupid hiding spot, don't you think?" Ellie taunted.
Alex stared back with wide eyes at the familiar witch, "You."
Ellie raised her eyebrows, "I know what you did." She crinkled her nose up, "I just don't know why."
Alex snickered bitterly, she went to leave and gasped in shock when Ellie raised her hand and a magical force held Alex up against her will. "Put me down!"
"Not until you stop whatever it is you started." Ellie confirmed.
Alex growled in rage. "You think you're stronger than me?"
"I think you're getting upset because you know I am." Ellie taunted. Alex struggled but panted in defeat, glancing down at the witch who indeed was stronger than her. And it did make her angry. She couldn't believe it.
"Those kids weren't real," Alex snickered, "They died 100's of years ago and I'm just using their ghosts. They're haunting every child's parents..to warn them about monsters."
Ellie nodded, she figured it was something like that. "So you could cause this riot?"
"More like a mob." Alex taunted, then laughed a bit maliciously. "I heard they are even setting up an execution."
Ellie stepped up madly, "You're making them kill innocent people!"
"I'm making them kill the monsters I made!" Alex shouted and Ellie stared in disbelief.
"Some of those monsters are good now, Alex." Ellie whispered, "In somebody else's' eyes, me and you are monsters."
Alex looked away from her, but tears began to threaten her eyes. "You don't get it." Her eyes then flashed angrily before she held her hand up, "And you won't stop me!" fire bursted out of her hand and towards Ellie.
Meanwhile. On the way down the street towards the execution, Sean and Jay pushed past the crowd as it was snowing. People were watching this execution as if it was some show or something. "ELLIE!?" Sean called, looking around frantically. This was not the place for a real witch to be standing around.
People were either watching what was about to go down, or running away. Jay pushed through more people and looked around as well, turning his head back and forth for Emma. He then bumped into someone who was running from this and both he and Sean stared back at whom slammed into them. It was more than a lucky chance. "Amy." Jay growled, his eyes flashing.
Amy darted her eyes between one angry vampire and a pissed off witches boyfriend. "Look- I-I can explain-" she whimpered and cried out as Jay grabbed her.
"No time." He informed, dragging her along with him and Sean to go find the others.
"Jay!" Jay looked up when Sean called his name near the front now. Some towns people were holding torches, some even weapons like bats or knifes, or shovels. Jay stopped when he saw what Sean was staring at. In front of the audience, there stood all the large stakes with people strapped into them. Some were real demons and witches that Jay could sense, but most were just humans. There were books surrounding those peoples' feet from below, and men were pouring gas onto it to start the fire.
"You are all guilty of black magic or any involvement with black magic." Spike said, speaking up from the front as well and Jay's eyes widened when he saw those ghosts of the kids on each of Emma's mothers' side.
Jay pushed Amy into Sean and warned him, "Don't let her go."
"Jay wait," Sean warned him back just as quickly and pointed. Jay turned, and his eyes flashed with terror as he noticed just who was also strapped to a large stake. Emma was between Manny and some other young girl. All unconscious and tied to a stake. Manny was slowly waking though and fluttered her eyes open for them to then widen.
Manny cried out, "EMMA, WAKE UP!"
"EMMA!" Jay yelled in fear, but Sean held him back.
"If you try to save her, the town will turn on you and we'll all be dead!" Sean tried to talk some sense. He knew Jay was struggling to go help Emma.
Spike had even turned her head to look at Jay who then caught her eye and walked over to her, pointing at the children by her side. "You're seeing ghosts, is that not questionable to you?!" Jay shouted and hee pointed at Emma up at the stake, "You're burning your own daughter to death!"
"Who are you?" Spike asked, shaking her head confused. She then glanced down at the kids, but they were so good at pulling her back in.
"He's a bad man too," the little girl warned Spike, "He's a vampire."
"A vampire.." repeated Spike, almost looking in a trance. Jay noticed it too. She was possessed. She'd never really do this to her daughter. "Get him!" she told the crowd who moved in on Jay.

Meanwhile, with Ellie and Alex, they both groaned from on the ground. Alex's ball of magic and fire caused some kind of explosion between them and sent them flying. Alex had hurt herself in the process. Ellie crawled up and limped as she walked over to Alex. Alex was bleeding, badly, and she croaked a bit as Ellie stopped beside her.
"Why?" Ellie whispered.
Alex swallowed painfully and closed her eyes for a moment. "Because if we're monsters too, our death wouldn't matter."
"Tell me how to stop it," Ellie begged, "I don't want to kill you."
Alex choked and coughed on her own blood. She laughed weakly but shook her head. She groaned and curled up into a ball when Ellie kicked her foot into her stomach.
"TELL ME!"
Alex winced and waited for the blow when Ellie raised her foot again but stopped when Alex sobbed, "Okay!" She panted and swallowed. "The kids, they were once real. 100 years ago. Born in Salem. Their parents were witches."
Ellie's mouth hung.
"The town of Salem hung their mother then burned them alive. Even if you kill me, I summoned them to do my bidding and they won't stop until all the monsters are dead."
"How do you stop them?" Ellie bent down and yelled, "Tell me, Alex!"
Alex's eyes were getting heavy and Ellie silently cursed as her blood was becoming like a pool around her. Alex was dying. Before she could have any last word, she slipped into darkness.
"ALEX!" Ellie looked around in panic and then ran back to the warehouse, breaking the lock with her powers and then running in. She stopped when she saw the shrine Alex created in the corner where candles were lit around a spell book. She ran to it, stopped and read through the page as quick as she could before grabbing the spellbook and running back out with it.

Emma began to stir and raised her head slowly, fluttering her eyes open. She smelt smoke. When she saw what looked like an angry mob in front of her, her eyes widened as she saw Jay standing nearby in front of her mother and they were shouting at another until the crowd began to move in on Jay, one even raising a vampire stake.
"Jay." Emma groaned out, still foggy.
Jay's eyes were frightful as he turned back towards her and they locked eyes as Emma struggled and noticed her arms tied behind her back. She looked beside her to where Manny was tied to a stake and figured she must be too. "JAY!" she cried out, scared.
Jay went to help but the crowd was ready to lung at him. Sean was also pushed back away from Amy and Amy stormed through the crowd. "He's mine," she growled and lept on Jay when he went to go help Emma. Jay struggled with Amy who pinned him down from on top of him and he hit his head down hard on the ground.
"EMMA!" he yelled from the ground, noticing two men light the books near Emma's feet on fire. Give it 10 minutes, and Emma would be burned at stake.
Manny began to cry and beg the man who set her books on fire next, "You don't want to do this!" she then paused as she remembered something and laughed out loud, "Alright. You wanna fry a witch? I'll give you a witch!" she looked up at the sky where snow fell and shouted up to the clouds, "Hecate, work thy will!"
Emma watched Manny's eyes turn pitch black and the energy of her spell begins to swirl around her.
"Before thee let the unclean thing crawl!" Manny shivered as the spell did it's will on her. It was a spell she remembered back when she first got into witchcraft. Suddenly, she is engulfed by a sudden burst of flame. People in the crowd scream as they watch. An instant later Manny's clothes are empty, and she's missing. The ropes she was tied in, dropped to the burning ground.
"She's gone!" the crowd yelled in shock and amazement.
Then a rat comes scattering towards the crowd and away from the fire. It was Manny, who had turned herself into a rat to get away. The frightened crowd jumped out of its way as it found a sewer and hid. Emma can only watch Manny go.
"She couldn't do me first?!" she exclaimed then tried to struggle harder against the ropes. She began to cough and the flames were getting stronger, the fire getting bigger. She gasped when suddenly Ellie ran up to her, and threw Alex's spellbook that was in her hand, into the burning fire. "Ellie?!"
Ellie just smiled at Emma and raised her hands, chanting a spell and the sky stopped snowing, and began to thunder. Everyone in the crowd gasped and looked up as rain began to fall.
"We can watch your girlfriend fry together," Amy sneered in Jay's ear as they struggled and he shot his elbow back to punch her in the face and she yelped in pain, flying back and off of Jay who got up quick.
Having a stake in his back pocket, Jay reached for it, and when Amy lunged at him again, Jay pushed it into her chest with a vengeance, glaring into her eyes spitefully as she gasped in shock and then pain
"No..". she could only take one last breath before falling into dust.
Meanwhile the crowd was beginning to see clearly now that Alex's spellbook was burning up which mean the spell was breaking. "Maybe we should go," a fearful man said, "We don't know what we're dealing with."
The ghost children turned towards the crowd and the little boy shook his head, "No, you promised!"
The sister nodded, "You have to kill the bad guys."
Every town person who had looked hypnotized the past few weeks were beginning to shake it off. "They haven't harmed us, we should let them go!"
"This is wrong!"
"Where am I?" some even asked, wondering how they got here. The un-possessed town now watched in terror as the flames around the people being burned at stake began to get higher.
"What's going on!?" Spike cried out, noticing her daughter struggling and tied to the stake. "Emma!?" she then gasped and shot back from the two dead children who now put another's hands into each others.
"We told you to stop them!" they angrily said, stepping even closer to another and then hugged another in order to morph into one big yellow demon with horns. "Or I will." It growled. Spike now stared at the demon in horror, out of trance now.
"Oh my god!" Spike cried.
The rain Ellie had conjured up was now burning out the fire. Jay had raced over to Emma, and he was struggling with untying the rope, "It's too tight!" he growled in frustration.
"Get me out of here!" Pleaded Emma. Even if the fire was out, there was a huge yellow demon standing right infront of them who was now turned toward them and pointing straight at her.
"Time to die," he growled, before coming at them.
Jay's eyes widened, glancing at the monster and back to the rope that tied Emma to the stake. With one strong blow to the back of the stake, it cracked, and Emma bent over, letting the pointy end of the stake ram into the demon who charged at them. The demon howled in pain as it plunged through his stomach and his eyes widened before shutting and his body gave out.
Emma was untied finally and quickly latched onto Jay as the demon dropped with the large stake still through his stomach.
Emma panted, trying to catch her breath with her arms around Jay's neck and his arms tightly around her safely. They stared down at the dead demon and were happy it was finally over. Emma shivered in the cold rain and clung closer to Jay.
"You okay?" he whispered against her ear and she just nodded, closing her eyes and resting it on his chest.
"I'm so over this crap," she joked with a light chuckle he returned.
"Emma," they heard and Jay growled, pushing Emma behind him and he stepped up to Spike who was running over to them to see if they were alright.
"Jay, no!" Emma begged, putting her hand on his arm, "She doesn't know what happened! They were all possessed!"
"Oh Emma," Spike cried, "I remember. Im so sorry, baby. I don't understand-"
Emma stepped out from behind Jay, giving him a look to let her go to her mom and she embraced her mother tightly.
"It's ok." She promised, hugging Spike closer. The rain then stopped as soon as it started.
