Chapter 16
Dean was sitting at the dining room table searching the internet. He had been up all night, between the hell memories and feeling like a dick, sleep was impossible. Angie made her way to the kitchen. The house was quiet, everyone still in bed. She poured her coffee and leaned on the counter, taking a sip from her cup. Then she heard it. The typing. She stood in the doorway of the dining room. He was so into what he was reading, he didn't hear her. "Do you know how to use that, or even read?" He nearly jumped through the ceiling. "Jesus, make some noise when you sneak up on me." She smirked, that was what she used to tell him. "Then I won't being sneaking, now would I?" He closed the computer and grabbed his cup and walked around her. Sitting his cup in the sink with his back to her. "We are gonna have to head back out today, could you please stay put until I get back?" He didn't wait for an answer as he walked out to the garage. She was fed up with him given orders. And she knew he remember her, and he was gonna explain why he had not told her yet. She stomped her way to the garage barefooted.
He was under the hood when she walked in. She sat her cup on top of the car, propped her hip on the front driver side and crossed her arms over her chest. "When were you gonna tell me, or were you?" He continued what he was doing, "You are gonna have to be a little more specific. I may give you details on something you don't know about yet." "Your memory, dickhead." He stopped and raised up. "I wasn't." She grinned and shook her head. "That is typical Dean, keep your mouth shut, and you are free. Free to enjoy your second chance. That's fine, but don't I deserve to know?" He ran his hand over his face and slammed the hood. She jumped. He wiped his hands on a rag. "Not my second chance, yours. You have clearly moved on. What would be the purpose in dragging you back through all that hell." She smirked trying to stop the tears. Didn't work. He leaned on the hood as she looked away from him. "Look, I am so fucked up, right now. I don't want to feel anything. It hurts too bad. I come back, and my life is total different from what I remember. Then I try and try until I catch up, then it is too late, You were moving on." She turned and walked face to face with him. "You know nothing about hurt Dean." He looked at her. She continued. "Hurt is having to wake up everyday wanting to see the one face that would make that day worth living. So you spend all day waiting, they never show up. The people you met, the things you do, is called life. Then one day, they show up. Pain, pain is realizing that what helped you cope, the knowing, the fact that I knew exactly how you felt about me. You loved me. That was all gone." The tears were flowing down her face. He couldn't look at her, he turned his head as he begin to cry. "Moving on Dean, maybe that's what I tell myself. It feels like I am walking in place, waiting, hoping, needing you to catch up."
Angie jumped as two men appeared. Dean looked at them. "Cas, this is not a good time." "I know, Dean, I tried to wait. But this seems to be taking longer than I expected and we need to talk, now. We need your help." This was Cas, she recognized his voice from the hospital, the other man made her nervous. "Look, Cas, is it?" Cas looked at her, "Yes, it is good to finally met you." "We are kinda in the middle of something." He looked back at Dean. "I would not ask if it wasn't important. It's Alistair, he won't talk." Angie begin to shiver as the other man eyed her and smiled. Dean noticed, "Who is this?" The man never took his eyes off of Angie, "Ariel, I'm Ariel." Cas broke in, "Dean, he won't talk. We need your help." Dean shook his face and begin to pace. "Oh, no, I trapped him for you, that's all I can do. I'm done." Angie was listening, she knew who they were talking about, but didn't know what. Ariel smiled at Angie again, "I don't get you boy, this is all yours. And from what we hear, she gives you a run for your money, if you know what I mean." Ariel looked at Dean as Dean clenched his jaw and fist. "So why did you just have to have a slice of the angel food cake. She couldn't have been close to as good as this sweet ass." Dean's breath deepened and so did his voice. "You shut your mouth, you dickless pervert." Angie looked at him confused. Ariel looked back at her. "Oh, he didn't tell you? He seems to keep a lot from you lately. Last week he and Sam were protecting one of our innocent angels, well using her for bait. He used his charm to get her trust and her, well, virtue, right here in the back seat of this car." "Shut your mouth!" Dean yelled. Angie looked at Dean and shook her head. "Really, Dean, now who's moving on?" Cas changed the subject. "Alistair is the issue at hand, we need you. You are the only one that can make him talk." "No, I had him walk right to you. If you can't make him, there is nothing I can do." Ariel stepped closer. "You are his well trained apprentice, you know all his tricks." Dean took a deep breath and wiped his hand over his face. Angie's heart sank as she realized what they were asking. "You can't ask him to do this." Cas looked back at Dean, "I have no other options." Dean looked at Angie and she shook her head. "No, I am not doing it." He said as he looked at Cas. Ariel stepped to him, "We are not asking boy." He touched Dean's forehead and they were gone. Angie gasped, trying to grasp what just happen. "Oh no,,,no,,,no" She turned and ran to the house, yelling for Sam. As she reached the living room, everyone was there. Sam stood in his briefs, grabbing her shoulders trying to stop her from screaming. "They took him!" Sam shook her. "Who?" "Dean, the angels took him." Sam was confused. "Cas took him. Where?" "I don't know, to Alistair." Sam looked her in the eyes. "Tell me what happened." She looked at him and tightened her lips. "I told you, Cas and Ariel, took him to Alistair. They want him to torture him until he talks." Bobby looked at Sam, "That ain't good." "Not at all." Sam said as he turned and went to get dressed. He had an idea where to look.
There was nothing they could do but wait. They would never find Dean until they were done. And when he came back, Angie knew he would be more fucked up than he was before.
Dean
He stood in the middle of a cold room. Filled with metal surgical tools and tables. He looked at a large metal door. "Is he in there?" "Yes, Dean, he is the only one that knows where Lilth is and the next seal. He has to talk." Ariel interrupted, "We do not have to explain ourselves to this monkey. We give the orders and he takes them. You are getting to invested in this hairless ape." Dean turned and glared at him. "You obviously don't know me, but I don't take orders from nobody. The way I see it, I hold all the cards. Without me you and your dickless freaks are screwed." Ariel stepped to Dean and Cas stopped him. "You can leave now, Ariel." Ariel stepped back. "Just remember boy, we dragged you from hell, and we can throw you back." Dean knew he was right, he could wake up in hell at anytime. He knew he had to do this, he just didn't know who he would be when he came back." He turned to the door pushing a metal cart full of sharp weapons. He stopped at the door. "When I go in there, I am gonna do what I need to do. But you may not like who comes out."
Cas listened as the screams filled the room. He knew this would probable send Dean over the edge. But he had his orders, the one and only way to stop the Appocalipse was behind that door. Alistair teased and taunted Dean. And he knew the longer he was in there, the harder it would be to leave in tact. He filled a suringe with holy water and walked to him. Alistair laughed. "You know, you started it all, and now you want to stop it." "What the hell are you talking about." He laughed again. "We wanted your daddy, but he wouldn't give. I offered him the same deal everyday for 100 hell years. He always said no. But you, you were easy. 3 months, 3 hell years, was all it took. You jumped off the rack and took a scapel." "You are a fucking liar." he seethed. "I wouldn't lie about this, you were the first seal. We needed you first for the others to fall into place." Dean turned and clenched his teeth and fist as a tear rolled down his cheek. Alistair continued. "The fist seal shall break as a righteous man sheds blood in hell. As he breaks, so shall it." Dean's whole body tensed. "Shut your fucking mouth!" as he turned, he was face to face with Alistair. Then everything went black.
