Again, got completely derailed from what was supposed to happen -_- But hey, there's some major information here that's actually really impertinent to the story! It'll get explained in more detail in a later chapter :3 It's actually like a legit reason why Chase can turn the cats back into humans via kisses xD

LOL

I do not own Bleach - anything and everything original is mine unless other-wise stated.

Kitty Kat

Chapter 14

Chase was almost late to school the next morning. She had to bribe all three men with being alone with each of them for three hours just to get them to let go of her. She had to practically run out the door to catch the bus and get to school on time.

She was blushing so hard, that she was sure everyone was giving her some weird looks for her unusual behavior. When had that been different, though? Everyone wanted to stare at her, and Chase had never been sure why.

She was polite, though probably very blunt. She thought she was pretty, but apparently only pretty enough for a damn dare.

Chase scowled and crossed her arms, glaring at the seat before her.

Grimmjow scowled at the TV, poking it to see if it would magically turn on for him. After a couple of more pokes, he growled at the electronic, hoping to scare it.

Nothing.

"Meh, Grimmjow, having a bit of trouble there?" The blue-haired hollow turned to see Gin watching him with that ever infuriating grin on his face. Scowling, he stepped aside for the ex-captain to turn it on. The silver man gave him a peck on the cheek and then turned his attention to the TV, fiddling with some knobs.

Grimmjow only scowled at that, then growled at the group of Espada that were all still cats, blushing heavily. They were cheering for him, purring suggestively then laughing at Grimmjow's expense.

Ichigo was laying with his head covered by paws, not really understanding what was going on right now.

His hollow, Grimmjow, and now Gin! And they were just being so fucking domestic with each other! This, this was definitely in the top ten of really fucking weird shit that's been dealt in his life. "Why is this happening?!"

"Well King, if ya need ta know…" Ogichi waltzed out of the kitchen, holding some cooked ham. He set some on the floor, letting the cats maul them to pieces, going back to grab some fresh pop-tarts for the three humans in the apartment. "Ya gonna have ta be more specific."

Ogichi grinned at Ichigo's distress. This was hilarious to the Hollow-Quincy hybrid, and seeing his Shinigami-half of the soul be confused was basically the highlight of the day at the moment.

"What he means to ask is…" Sui-Feng glared at the orange cat, stepping forward instead. "Why are the three of you sharing a human? What is with that?"

Grimmjow raised a brow. He plopped down on the couch, settling himself until his head was in Ogichi's lap comfortably. Ogichi shrugged, setting the pop-tarts on Grimmjow's stomach so he could eat with one hand and pet the blue hair in the other.

"Well, Captain, if you must know." Gin went over to the single chair, stealing a pop-tart on his way. "Hollows are not monogamous – when one finds a mate, dey share it with those dey deem worthy."

Hitsugaya scrunched up his nose. It was Rangiku that commented, "worthy? What does that mean?"

Grimmjow was the one to answer this time. "It depends on strength and reiatsu. For example, Ogichi has a lot of reiatsu, nearly an infinite amount. It's like having a tap with no turn on it – he would need someone or several people to balance that out, so then he doesn't choke out his mate or mates."

All the Shinigami turned to the Espada, who all nodded in agreement. "It's why I don't have a mate currently," Starrk said, his tail flicking in interest. "Most of the other Hollows can not handle my power without fighting me for it, and so I have gone without a mate."

"So this mate of yours has to have the same amount of reiatsu or more?" Ichigo frowned at this, trying to understand.

"Nah, not necessarily – it would be more ideal if they were at least two levels below us, though not too high either." Szyael commented, a gleam in his eyes. "If they are too low, they go insane, if they are too high in power, then the compatibility isn't there."

"Wait, does that mean Chase has reiatsu? Why can't we sense it?" The other cats got into a debate, arguing and meowing over each other. It honestly was a surprise that none of the neighbors could hear the cacophony of noise, but that's what happens when you live alone in a one story house.

Not much can get through the walls to the other neighbors.

The three humans, however, glanced at each other, communicating something that went unseen by the others.

...This was supposed to be longer, but apparently, Chase ain't cooperating, so there's that. Bleh. So, uh, here's a filler chapter with very important information (TM)

So enjoy :D

Thank you to thebeastinsideusall, Angelic Reaper13 and Ryuko Kurosaki for your reviews from last chapter :D This chapter was short, but I want to know what ya'll think of this chapter :)
