Probably the second last chapter :3 there'll be an epilogue afterwards. The sequel is being posted as you are reading this. And, may I ask, should I do a Miraxus lemon in the sequel? I'm leaning towards it, because I have the perfect lead-up. Anyway, your opinions would be much appreciated! For the, ah, non-Miraxus people out there, I'll give fair warning. It is my duty! *salutes like an absolute retard* Anywhore, enjoy this last chapter and see you in the sequel, folks!

Natsu's POV

"What happened?" Lucy was clutching my hand like a lifeline and she pressed her body into my side. "Its completely..."

"Destroyed." Mirajane said. "No, its not. The bottom floor is only just standing. If it falls, then everyone in the infirmary will be killed. No pressure, but you may wanna fix that soon."

"But what happened?" She asked.

Mirajane's face fell a tiny bit. "Agadir happened."

We entered the fragments of the guild hall. Gajeel looked kinda freaked out. I didn't know why, and I didn't want to guess.

"Where is everyone?" Levy asked.

"Sleeping," Mirajane informed. "We were supposed to be sleeping, but we came to get you." The weariness and injuries were starting to show. "I might get some rest. Only the really badly injured people are still in there, and that's Master, Wendy and Laxus. Plus Porlyusica. You guys can go home if you want."

"We'll stay," Freed said but Mirajane shook her head, not facing him.

"Go." He seemed to note the tone of her voice and retreated. "You too, guys."

"We'll be back at dawn," Erza decided before exiting the building. "Jellal, come."

She was in serious mode, and he daren't defy her. So he just followed her and the two disappeared.

"We should all stay together," Lucy suggested.

"Gray-sama will stay with Juvia," she was hanging onto him, her face flushed red. "Gray-sama wants to stay with Juvia, right? Then we can..." Her voice trailed off as she whispered something in his ear and he blushed, his mouth hanging open. Hmm... What was Ice Princess doing with her beforehand...?

"Get a room, geez," Gajeel snorted. Levy frowned at him.

"Anyway, we'd better go." Lucy said. "Then I guess we'll meet in the morning."

Without another word she turned and started walking. As did everyone else. I ran to her and grabbed her hand, roughly dragging her down the road. "H-Hey!" She protested.

"Shh," I told her harshly. I turned down an alleyway and dragged her into it with me. I didn't let go of her hand.

"So what are we-" She was silenced as I pushed her against the wall and crashed my lips onto hers. The kiss hardly did 'passionate' and 'heated' justice. I had been deprived of her touch for too long and now it was mine again.

Naturally, our tongues met and her hands curled around my neck. I let my hands wrap around her waist as the heat between us increased.

She moaned and I pushed my body into hers a little more, confining her against the wall. She didn't mind. Our tongues danced and my throat burned for air. But that was irrelevant. I pushed gently against her tongue and she pushed back. It repeated until it became a war for dominance. No one won, and no one lost. Eventually we stopped fighting for dominance and I pulled away gently. I buried my nose in the nape of her neck and breathed in her scent. "You have no idea how long I've waited to do that." I breathed out.

"Mmm," she mumbled. "We should be getting home."

"Yeah," with great reluctance I pulled away and walked out of the alleyway. "We should."

With Lucy walking behind me, I walked back to her house. She didn't question me until I opened the door.

"One, why is it unlocked, and two, why are you actually using it?"

I was in no mood for jokes. "I'm staying with you until this whole thing with Agadir has stopped." As soon as I entered the house, I heard the muffled scuffling of feet. I hissed to Lucy, "Do you hear that?"

"Hear what?" She asked, entering and looking around.

"There's someone in here," I told her quietly, creeping towards the stairs. "Upstairs."

"It's probably my landlady," she tried to assure me.

"It's not." At that point I was racing upstairs, my feet thudding noisily on the wood. I reached the top and that was when I saw him.

He was trying to hide but he wasn't hidden enough. He was crouching behind Lucy's laundry basket and I could see a tuft of red hair above the basket.

"Creep," I snarled. "What are you doing here?" Despite the clothes inside it, I flung it aside to reveal a man, obviously with red hair, crouching with a sack that jingled when it moved.

"Ahh, um..." He seemed to be lost for words. I sent a kick into his face, sending him flying into the wall, and picked him up by his collar.

"You didn't answer my question," I hissed maliciously. "What are you doing here?"

With his free hand he sent a punch into my stomach. It really hurt, to say the least. My grip on him was released as I went flying towards the wall on the other side. I hit it with a thud.

When I looked at his hand, it was swathed in blackness. I snarled and got to my feet as he made for the window. "Don't even try, asshole!"

I launched at him, my fist engulfed in fire, and sent a punch into his face. He fell out of the window. Dammit.

I leapt out of the window, landing beside him. He was starting to get up and I slammed my foot on his chest. "You were stealing from Lucy's house." I punched him in the face and snatched the sack from his hands. "Now leave and don't come back. Ever."

I released him and he scrambled away. I looked towards the window and jumped, grabbing hold of the windowsill with my free hand. Lucy, who had been standing and watching, extended a hand to help me up.

As soon as I got inside, I handed her the bag. "Here."

She looked absolutely stunned and I gave her a quizzical look. "What? I only-" She pointed to a spot just above my navel. "Oh, shit."

A knife made of shadow was sticking out of my lower chest. As soon as I noticed it, I doubled over in pain. It felt like I had been stabbed by a real knife and someone was twisting it, over and over. Lucy gasped and quickly laid me down on the floor. I couldn't see it but I knew how much blood was coming out.

"So much blood..." She had been thinking the same as me. "That guy was a Shadow Make wizard. And he must have made a knife and..." Her voice trailed off. "Now, I'll pull the knife out on the count of three. One," she pulled the knife out.

"Ngh!" I felt the blood start to gush out. As soon as she pulled it out, it turned into shadow again. "Fuck!"

"It's ok," she soothed. "Just stay still please." Her gentle fingers unbuttoned my one-sleeved shirt and slid it off, taking my scarf with it. "You've taken worse injuries than this. You'll survive."

Lucy grabbed a tissue box sitting beside her bed and grabbed almost the whole lot. She gently dabbed it on my open wound. "I'll be right back," she kissed my forehead and got up, running to the bathroom.

I was shaking wildly and beads of sweat formed on my forehead. Why does it hurt so much? I heard Lucy cry out in the bathroom and I tried to get up. "Lucy!"

She came out, holding a note in shaky hands. "Natsu... That blade was coated in poison. That man was sent to kill you!"

"P-Poison...?" I choked out.

"Don't move a muscle. Don't speak, don't move at all. I'm going to heal you." Lucy turned and ran back into the bathroom, returning with a bandage, painkillers and a tub of water. "I'll call Porlyusica."

I could feel the poison. I knew thatI was going to die. "No..."

"Yes! You're not dying on me!" Her eyes filled with tears. "Please... Don't give up!"

I paused and nodded faintly. Then she set off to work.

Lucy made me take the painkiller. "It doesn't work wonders like Wendy or Porlyusica, but it's the best I've got." She dabbed a tissue into the water and cleaned my wound gently. The painkillers numbed my pain only slightly, but it still felt like heaven to have some of it gone.

She bandaged it up and grabbed a blanket from her bed. "Stay here."

I nodded as she put the blanket on top of me. "Get some rest," she told me before she went to the kitchen to call Porlyusica.

About five minutes later, Porlyusica came. She had a basket full of medical supplies and set off to work immediately. She made me have take of this weird pinkish liquid and I immediately felt drowsy. Lucy stayed by my side the whole time, and I only got to squeeze her hand once before I drifted to sleep.

Erza's POV

We were a long way down the road before I said anything. "You aren't going anywhere. You are staying with me at Fairy Hills."

"B-But it'a girls only!" He protested.

"This is an extreme circumstance!" I snapped. "We will speak to Meredy and Ultear tomorrow. They will be informed of this. Now come!" I grabbed his hand to make sure he didn't stray.

He smiled. "You're so cute when you're all proffesional like that."

I felt my cheeks heat up. "Sh-Shut up..."

I dragged him down the path of Fairy Hills and into the building. Once we were inside, I released his hand. I put a finger to my lips to tell him to be silent as we crept to my room.

I opened the door to my large room and he gazed around in awe. "So many armors..."

I closed the door. "In all of this, I do actually have a room, with a bed and stuff." I took his hand and led him into my bedroom. "We should get some shuteye for tomorrow."

Then the phone rang. I looked at it cautiously before picking up. "Hello?"

"Erza!" Lucy sounded frantic. "Natsu! He was stabbed by a burgular! He's gonna-"

"Lucy. Calm down." I felt panic rising but I kept it under control. "Calm down and tell me what happened."

She took a deep breath. "As soon as we got home, Natsu found a robber in my house. Naturally, he bashed him up and sent him running. But then when he came back inside, I found a blade made of shadows lodged in his chest. It was covered in poison, and the man had been sent to kill him."

"Is Porlyusica there?"

"Yeah... She says he'll be fine in a few days, but I'm so scared..."

"Listen, Lucy." I told her. "Natsu's suffered way worse than this. He'll pull through."

"Hopefully..."

"Get some rest. I'll see you tomorrow." With that I put the phone down.

"What happened?" Jellal asked, sitting on the edge of the bed.

"Natsu got stabbed by a poisoned knife," I told him. "He'll pull through."

"He will. He's tough."

"Yeah." I requipped into my pyjamas and climbed into bed. "Come on. Sleep time."

He discarded his cloak and took off his shirt. "We've got a big day tomorrow."

"Mmm." I snuggled under the blankets a little more. "Good n-" His warm, muscular arms wrapped around me and he pulled me into his embrace.

"I love you, Erza." He murmured, kissing the top of my head.

"I love you too." I whispered. "Now sleep."

"Okay." His voice dropped to a whisper like mine. And, wrapped in his arms, I let sleep take me.

Gray's POV

She was on her way to Fairy Hills when I stopped her. "Juvia."

"Yes, Gray-sama?" She stopped and turned, lacing her fingers in mine. It felt normal to have this level of contact with her (not to mention more, that felt way better than normal).

"We should stay at my house," I suggested. Lucy had told me how many creepy dolls she had... And even when I felt the same, minus the creepiness, it still would make my instincts scream 'Run!'

"Anything Gray-sama wants," she said. "Where's your house?"

"Follow me," I didn't take my hand out of hers as we walked to my house.

It only took a few minutes to walk there. As soon as we reached it, I let go of her hand to unlock the door. She looked at my house and back at me as the door swung open. "It's lovely, Gray-sama."

"Thank you," I went inside, Juvia on my heels, and I closed the door behind me. "You tired?"

"A little bit." She smiled. "Juvia is impressed. You keep your home very clean."

I smiled back. "I try. Much better than Fire Queen, don'tcha think?"

"No one could compare."

The conversation ended there and I went to my bed. "You can stay up if you want, but I'm going to sleep."

"Juvia is coming to sleep too," she was already beside me, wearing some kind of ridiculous lingerie dress that she had changed into almost as quick as I would. She was blushing like a maniac. "Does Gray-sama like Juvia's outfit?"

"T-Take that thing off..." My cheeks heated up and I had to look away to avoid complete disaster. "We're sleeping, not doing... other stuff."

"Th-Then Gray-sama doesn't like it?" Her eyes filled with tears and I sighed.

"Just... take it off!" She was daft. She thought I didn't like it? Hell, I felt the opposite.

"Juvia wishes Gray-sama would like the outfits she chooses!" She sobbed. I sighed again and turned to face her squarely.

"Take it off or I'm not gonna be able to sleep."

"Gray-samaaaa!"

"Do you want to know my honest opinion?"

"Yes, yes, tell Juvia!"

"I think you look sexy and I want to fuck you. But we need sleep and with that I won't be able to sleep." I felt my face heat even more.

"You think that?" Her voice dropped to a whisper.

"Just get into your pyjamas."

"Thank you, Gray-sama."

"Sleep."

"Oh, right. Juvia will be asleep soon." She ran over to her bag of stuff and I turned over, chuckling. Juvia just doesn't quit wanting my affection. She should know she has it all.

Levy's POV

Gajeel and I were the only ones standing outside the guild. I bit my lip and turned away. "I'm going back to Fairy Hills." As soon as I took a step, a hand clamped around my wrist. "You're not going anywhere while you're alone."

"Gajeel. I'll be fine. I'm not weak." I tried to break away but to no avail.
He pulled me into his embrace. "You didn't understand me. You're not going anywhere without me. Ever."

"Gajeel..." I snuggled into him. "I'm tired."

"Well, come on then. Back to my house."

"Why not mine? At Fairy Hills?"

He snickered, letting go of me. "No doubt Jellal and Erza are in there, hitting it off."

"Is your house a mess?"

"I don't care about keeping it clean."

I pouted at him. "Fine. We'll stay there."

He grinned and took my hand. "Come on then, short stack."

"Don't call me that."

We walked to his house in silence. From the outside I could see it was a huge mess. I let go of his hand and stepped back. "I am not staying in there."

"Yes you are." He turned back to me and swooped me up in his arms.

"I can walk myself! Let me go!" I cried, battering his arms with my fists, but he didn't relent. He unlocked the door and walked inside, which waa where I got a real shock.

"Whaaa?" I stared at what he called a house with wide eyes. "Have you ever cleaned this place?"

"Nope," Gajeel grinned as he put me down on his couch, which was covered in food, spiderwebs and I don't wanna know what that moldy blue thing was.

"Where's Pantherlily?" I asked, quickly hopping up from the couch and wiping my dress clean.

"I dunno." Gajeel was at the bedside, wiping it off. "Get to sleep now."

"I'm not sleeping on that unless it's clean!"

He sighed and ripped the covers off; blankets, sheets and all. "There."

"That'll be really cold..."

"Geez, quit complaining."

I just sighed and tiptoed over his floor to his bed. "Okay. I'll sleep here."

He was already laying on the mattress with only his jeans on. I frowned at him. "Aren't you going to freeze in that?"

"Nah." He patted the space beside him. "Come on."

I jumped onto the bed, avoiding any mess, and settled into the pillow. "If I freeze to death, its your fault."

"It's not that bad. Now c'mere." He pulled me towards him and into his body. "Good night shrimp."

"Good night Gajeel. And don't call me that."

Honestly, I didn't like that chapter very much. Next up is the epilogue, which in turn is the last chapter of the book. I'll make all of my cheesy thank you comments there. For now, goodbye!
