A/N: Hello~! So this is the first part of the ending! There will be this chapter, another one, then the epilogue! I'm excited to say that I am actually very close to finishing a story (you have no idea how special that makes me feel. Seriously.) Anyway, enjoy the chapter~!

I turn around to glare at Antonio and Feliciano. "Get up, bastards! We have to fight her!" I put my arms in front of Valleri, using his abilities to throw her into the wall.

"Why are we fighting her?!" Antonio asks.

"'Cause, if we lose, she'll kill us! At least me…that bitch."

Suddenly, we hear an angry shout. "That wasn't fair! I wasn't ready yet! And in any case, we can't fight here, you idiots! We'll damage something!" Must have been Valleri. Soon everything blurs and shifts.

When everything focuses, there are platforms fucking everywhere. It appears as if there is a river down below us. There's a few mountains here and there, but nothing much else. Its dark outside. Very fucking dark.

"Okay! Here are the rules!" Valleri yells. We notice that she is up on the highest platform. "If you fall, you will be immediately transported back into the real world. This also means you are out; if all three of you are out then you will lose. And I will kill our little Lovino here~!" I gulp slightly when she looks at me. I try to hide my fear. "Hurm…what else…I think that is it!"

"Wait!" I shout. "The same rule applies to you, right? If you fall, you're out. Is this correct?"

She contemplates. "Yes, that is true, I guess. Oh, yes, if Lovino here falls, you are all automatically out. You can sacrifice yourself to save him though. Your choice. Let's begin~!" She jumps down to Feli's platform. She swings the stick she had in her hands at him and he creates a force field to send it into the waters.

I glance at Antonio, who gets ready to throw a dagger he just spawned. Valleri jumps up to him and begins to try to touch him, probably trying to force his mind to sleep. "Antonio, duck!" Feli shouts at him, making a fireball and throwing it at Valleri. She dodges it, just barely. Antonio jumps to the platform next to Feli, leaving Valleri alone. She is just about to jump at them when I make a tidal wave from the river slam into her. I allow myself to smirk slowly..

Valleri glares up at me, and jumps to attack. Antonio and Feliciano get ready to jump up to help me, but Valleri smirks and throws them onto the another platform. "Stay there, would you dolls?" She smirks.

While she is distracted, I take the moment to grab the dagger, which somehow morphed into a sword, and attack her. I jump from a higher platform, swinging the sword above my head.

I feel successful, and slightly hopeful, until a foot collides with my side. She knocks me to the ground, kicking out all the breath in my lungs causing me to start coughing. I barely register the fact that I am barely on the ledge now. She giggles slightly. "Checkmate, Lovino~!" With one swift kick she pushes me off of it. I hang on to the ledge as if my life depended on it. Who am I fucking kidding, my life DOES depend on me hanging on. And that bitch just keeps stepping on my fingers. One hand slips. She starts to pound on my other hand. I suddenly feel my hand slip.

As I fall, I let myself fall into acceptance. I gambled with her. And I lost.

A sudden cry of "No!" knocks me out of it. I see Feli jump after me. I feel myself stop falling.

There is a split second when time seems to almost stop, right when we cross paths in the air. I reach out to Feliciano, I don't know why, and he smiles at me. "Feli!" I yell as I feel myself be hurdled up into the air. When I land on the platform in time to see my brother stop his own falling decent. "FELICIANO VARGAS HAS BEEN ELIMINATED" suddenly cuts through the air, and Feliciano dissolves into dust.

"Feli!" I yell. I am about to yell something else when I am pulled to my feet roughly. Valleri is in my face.

"Aw, so sad~! Your brother sacrificed himself to save you!"

I punch her in the face. "Shut the fuck up!"

She holds her jaw slightly. "That wasn't nice Lovino. Not at all." Suddenly, Antonio Is on her neck, trying to get her away from me. She starts backing away slowly to the edge. Suddenly, it hits me what she's gonna do. She manages to get Antonio off of her back, and he drops off her back. He realizes it too, the moment before he drops. I hear him say "Lo siento, Lovi" before he drops. Valleri just stands there watching him fall. I can't bring myself to do it. Suddenly, we hear "ANTONIO FERNADEZ CARRIEDO HAS BEEN ELIMINATED". Suddenly, something occurs to me.

Valleri has her back turned to me. I decide to do this with style. "Hey Valleri!" I yell at her. Not my best idea, but eh.

"Hm~!" She pretty much giggles while she turns to me.

"Checkmate." I kick her in the chest, Spartan style. She has a look of disbelief on her face as she falls down.

"VALLERI CLAUDORIAN HAS BEEN ELIMINATED."

A/N: I like the ending. I really do. I actually reworked it a bit. I wanted Lovi to beable to gloat in her face before he kicked her. So, one more chapter, then the epilogue! THEN THE SEQUAL! Woo~! Tell me what you thought of this~!
