fanficreviewer69: Just out of curiosity, why do those two things bother you so much? Doesn't it kind of contradict when you say "Finn can get all the pussy he wants, but if Marceline gets pregnant or develops Stockholm syndrome, its all over"? Why does Finn get freedom and Marceline get restrictions? Why does Finn get to do whatever he wants, yet Marcy has to be the one to stay true? Shouldn't they both stay true? Why does Finn get a free pass? Just questions…
Lol everyone is upset. XD I hate doing this to characters but bad things need to happen.
UPDATE: I GOT A JOB! I WILL BE SPENDING MOST OF MY BREAKS WRITING NOW! Not my weekends though because they're devoted to music production but YAY!
When he stopped, twitching and groaning in delight, Marceline shook, crying and keeled over onto the bed. She curled into a tiny ball, as if to hide herself from the world. She stopped tugging the restraints around her wrists. She just cried.
Pendleton leaned back onto the bed with a satisfied grin. "Wasnt that great, my dear?"
The guards, who were forced to watch, moved in to pull Marceline into her cell. Pendleton raised his hand. "Stop." He said. "Leave us."
They obeyed immediately and left the two alone.
Marceline had not stopped crying.
"My dear Marceline," he said with a smug smile. "Forget him, will you? It's been months. He's forgotten about you."
"Shut up…" she said through her sniffs. "He hasn't. And when he gets here, you're gonna pay…"
"Really?" His hand gingerly brushed up her naked side, fondling her soft pale skin. "How sure are you?"
She remained silent. It had been weeks. What was taking him so long? Did he die? No he couldn't have… he can't be!
Pendleton moved forward and whispered in her ear. "Would you like to find out?" He could smell her naturally sweet scent. He almost wanted to go for seconds.
She remained quiet, aside from her sobs.
His hand was at her neck now, still a gentle caress. "Well… allow me to show you!"
His hand moved to her forehead and gripped it hard. Marceline let out a scream as the visions came pouring into her mind. She was in the eyes of someone else's body, looking at a tree. And there she could see it. Finn and Rebecca. Tier 15.
"STOP!" She cried and the visions continued. "STOP STOP STOP!"
Finally, they seceded and she was left stunned and crying. She couldn't believe it. It wasn't true!
"You made that up!" She said through tears.
"I have spies, Marceline," Pendleton replied. "I don't make things up if I don't have to."
She remained silent.
"Do you really think he is going to come?" He asked again. "Abandon his people for you? Let the last of Ooo die because of you? No… they're more important…"
She gritted her teeth.
"And he's found a new lover. You've been replaced…" his fingers twirled in her long beautiful black hair. "I would never replace you Marceline. I know your true power…"
She began to growl.
"I can give you power beyond your wildest dreams Marceline." He whispered. "Just like when you were hunting vampires. I can offer you your vampire souls back and so much more!"
All she could think of was how Finn had betrayed her. It had been weeks, and now, all hope for her is lost. When she finally learned to trust someone again, he broke it. Bonnie won't come for her. She needs to protect her people. Marceline was alone. Abandoned by Glob.
She had stopped crying now. Her anguish, sadness and despair now a flaming quiet rage.
"What do you want me to do?" She asked.
"Ah ah ah…" he said. "'What do you want me to do, my lord'."
She groaned. "What do you want me to do, my lord?"
He smirked and she could hear it. "That's a good girl," he said. "Now I'll give you your powers back and more. And even your own room. You don't have to spend another day in the cell. All you have to do…" With the snap of his fingers, her restraint came off. "Is love me. Make love to your master. Your savior."
She smirked and turned around, straddling him. Their naked bodies colliding.
She moaned and leaned over to him, looking into his eyes. "Yes my lord."
Jayden sat in his cell. It had been a days since Marceline was taken. Days so many that he lost count. He had been clutching the pill in his hands, waiting for an opportune moment. He has been studying the guards patterns, and who was coming in and out. Even the kind of food he was eating.
And when he would get tired, his thoughts drifted into places he didn't want to be, not because the thoughts and memories were unpleasant, but because they were too pleasant. It made him envy the normal life, a life in which the Ryker bloodline was never meant to have. He missed his daughter, Edith, and his love, Running Coyote. Both whom are dead if Marceline is correct. He wished he could have been a better person, but fate wouldn't allow it.
Fate wouldn't even allow him a proper death.
A guard came up to his cell. He pulled up a chair and sat on it. "Who are you?" He asked.
"Shouldn't you already know?" Jayden replied.
"Answer the question," he pressed.
"Ask politely."
The guard groaned. "Don't you fear anything boy?"
"I don't have any reason to fear," Jayden replied. "You get to sit up in your castles while horrors ravage those below you. I've seen things you people wouldn't ever possibly comprehend. I have no reason to fear you."
The guard chuckled. "Brave tongue. What's your name?"
"Now that's how you ask nicely." Jayden smirked. "Jayden Ryker."
"What are you doing here, Jayden?"
"You tell me," he asked. "One minute, I was shot and bleeding out, the next I'm in a cell with no scars."
"I see. Where's Marceline?"
Jayden shrugged. "Jesus man, don't you know what happens among your own people?"
"My people?" He asked. "These people aren't mine. Just like Pendleton isn't my king."
This caused Jayden to look at the man silhouetted in darkness. "What is your name?"
"I can't tell you." He said. "Not yet." then he leaned in and whispered. "You're obviously important to Pendleton, so its important that you listen closely."
Jayden inched closer to the cell bars.
"There's a group here that despises Lord Pendleton's rule. Revolutionaries who are faithful to Lord Finn. We plan on bringing back the lady Marceline to him."
"Good luck," he said. "She isn't here."
"Thats obvious. Where is she?"
"Pendleton's quarters probably." Jayden shrugged. "She's been there for a whole day, which is strange. He never needs her this long…"
The guard scoffed. "Damn it. Alright." There was a ringing sound. The sound of metal clanking. Then something turning. Then metallic sliding. "On your feet," he said. "We're getting you out of here."
Jayden sprang to his feet, his hand still clutching the pill he had torn from his shoulder a few weeks ago. He downed it and swallowed harshly. The taste of dried blood wasn't pleasant in the least.
"Where's my gear?" Jayden asked.
"Up ahead," the guardsman said as they walked in the darkness. "We have to hurry. The other will know you've escaped."
The guard ran ahead of Jayden, and as they approached the door, it slid open. Two Creators came rushing through. They each held light mail and a massive two handed sword.
The ally had a spear with a blade at the tip and a shield.
And Jayden had… nothing. Still he charged, the pill finally kicking in. His pupils dilated as they fixed onto his target.
The ally deflected a blow as Jayden sprinted past. He could see his target smirking. That cockiness will be his demise.
The target brought his two handed sword down fast, but Jayden sidestepped faster. Jayden's hands then wrapped around the handle and he simultaneously kicked the target in the gut and wrenched the sword away from him. Then, with a whirl, he spun and sliced the target in half diagonally, from his waist to his nipple. The sword continued until it lodged itself into the wall that held the open door.
The other guard turned around, shocked. That was his fatal error, as the ally seized the moment and pierced his spear through the back of the enemy's and exiting through the mouth. "Forgive me brother," he said to his fallen.
"Forget that!" Jayden said. "I need my gear!"
The Ally nodded and ran into the next room. It was illuminated and clean. Lights showed syringes and other boxes. A medical facility… with weapons. There was a metal box on the center table. Jayden opened it and found his sneaking suit, his Knife, and his Rifle. He stripped in front of the Ally, who seemed unphased. He turned his attention to the sword in the wall with curiosity. How strange… he thought. Jayden was able to lift the sword…
In seconds, Jayden had his rifle loaded and his wet suit on. "Let's go!" the Ally shouted.
"What about Marceline?" Jayden asked as he corrected the sights of his gun.
"There's nothing we can do for her."
Jayden grasped the Ally's shoulder and tugged, forcing him to face Jayden's direction. "We aren't leaving her behind!"
"Pendleton's fortress is heavily guarded! There are eyes everywhere, guards on patrol, automated canons, all of the like! With the alarms going off, the deeper we go in, the less likely we'll survive!"
Jayden groaned and released him.
"We're already pulling strings to get this far!" The ally continued. "Our men are dying just to provide you an escape route! Be thankful!"
Three men peered around the corner and as quickly as they came, they fell to the floor with three loud bangs. Jayden's rifle barrel smoked. "I wasn't the one you were supposed to save…"
"But you were there. Which means you'll have to do." The Ally said as he stepped beside him. "I'm not willing to give up the lives of my men to save try and save Lady Marceline. Not after this. Today was the only chance to do it."
A larger set of enemy Creators dashed towards them but stopped abrubtly… Then their bodies were divided in two and slowly plopped to the ground. Another person stood behind the fallen. "Enough talking Gared! We have to move!" Said the other Ally before starting off and Jayden and Gared followed.
More gunshots and more fallen enemies. Gared moved swiftly past his enemies, cutting them down with his spear with extreme precision only matched by Jayden's rifle. Those who got close enough to Jayden were unlucky enough to face his fists directly. The armed enemies were disarmed, and their swords were turning them inside out. Everyone was taken aback by Jayden's ability to weild their weapons.
The enemies, however, kept coming and Jayden felt his pill running out. He only had one that had been preserved through the hundreds of years in his skin.
The enemies kept coming and coming…
A large crowd screaming behind the enemies rushed in with their swords, striking them down from behind. The convoy has arrived.
"We have to go!" Gared said again.
"We have to save Marceline!"
"You do realize that Pendleton has captured you for a reason right?" Gared said. "I don't know what the reason is, but its important. Pendleton is cold and calculating. Ruthless and intelligent. Matched in strategy only by his son. If you go to him… you'll be doing him a favor."
His words didn't seem to stop Jayden. Jayden continued to walk the other way.
"Or is it something else?" Gared said. Then they both paused. "It's not really about Marceline is it?"
Running Coyote, Edith, Joanna… all three of them were in his head… and then… his mom. He wasn't able to save them… maybe, just maybe he can save Marceline. "I have to do it…" he said.
"Look," Gared placed a hand on his shoulder. "If you're going to save her, pick a better time. A time when you can actually guarantee victory. A better time than now. Because if you go now, you'll receive a fate worse than death…"
Too late, Jayden thought. But Gared did have a point. If Jayden went, he would fail. He can't save her now. And he couldn't save them then. Maybe he had chosen the inopportune moment to act. He may have been headstrong. Brash. He should have probably been more patient.
Explosions echoed from outside. Jayden was snapped to his senses. Gared looked back at him. "It's now or never! Decide!"
He didn't think long. He shouldered his rifle and ran becide his comrade into battle.
fanficreviewer69: I didn't write this chapter to spite you in case you were thinking that way. This is really all part of the narrative.
Till next time friends!
