Chapter 14: Promise
Tobe pulled out his sword and he hided on a nearby tree. Garu saw Pucca lining up to get on the train, Garu couldn't let Pucca leave without telling her all the truth about the evil plan that was performed to separate them, and to tell her how much he loved her. Pucca was about to walk in the train and that's when Garu yelled her name. Pucca recognized the voice that always made her melt, the voice Garu hided for long a long time due to his vote of silence, Pucca smiled and immediately turned around, when she saw Garu standing there, Pucca ran towards him forgetting about everything that happened. When she reached him, she hugged him tightly, put her soft hands on Garu's cheeks and kissed his lips, Pucca broke the kiss and blushed as a wide smile drew on her face. Garu smiled and put his arms around Pucca's waist and brought Pucca closer to him, their lips met once the kiss was broken up with a warm hug.
"Pucca" Garu said as he tightly hugged Pucca. Pucca looked up at Garu and kissed once again.
" I love you my Garu, oh no" Pucca said.
"What's wrong my love?" Garu confusedly asked, Pucca's eyes started to fill up with tears.
"This is a mistake" Pucca said as the tears escaped her eyes, Pucca gave Garu a sad look and turned around and started to walk away. Garu followed Pucca and stopped her.
" There is no mistake in this my love" Garu said as he smiled.
" But you're getting married to Ring Ring and forming a family with her" Pucca said as tears filled her eyes.
" I am not getting married to Ring Ring, nor forming a family with her, the only one I want to marry and form a family with is you my love" Garu said as he hugged Pucca tightly. Pucca looked at him with confusion and disbelief in her eyes.
" What do you mean you are not marrying Ring Ring?" Pucca confusedly asked.
" It was all a plan that Ring Ring and Tobe invented" Garu said as he looked at Pucca.
" What?! A plan?so you mean to say that it was all a plan an-" Before Pucca could finish, Garu grabbed her and kissed her deeply.
" What matters is that we are together, just like before" Garu said, Pucca smiled and nodded as she embraced Garu.
At that moment, Tobe appeared. Garu immediately took his katana out and pointed it at Tobe.
" Tobe! You've done enough damage already! Leave!" Pucca exclaimed. Tobe walked closer to her as he pulled his sword out.
" This is all the beginning, you two didn't think that I will let you with a happy ending now did you ?" Tobe said as he swung his sword towards Pucca but before he could do any harm to Pucca, Garu stood in front of Pucca causing the sword to go through. Pucca gasped as tears rolled down her eyes. Garu stayed stood even though blood poured from his side.
" Leave Tobe!" Garu exclaimed. Tobe looked at Garu in disbelief that he was standing even though the sword went through. Tobe swiftly left the scene. Pucca rushed towards Garu. Garu lcollapsed on the floor. Pucca held Garu in her arms, tears came out her eyes. Garu looked at Pucca weakly
" Are you okay? Did he cause you any harm my love?" Garu asked as he caressed Pucca's face.
" You didn't have to do this" Pucca said as she cried.
" Of course I did, I have to protect you always my love no matter what" Garu said
" Oh Garu" Pucca said as she cried.
" Pucca, you are and will always be the most important thing in my whole life" Garu said, fighting to keep his eyes open.
"And you are and will always be mine" Pucca replied, hugging him and tried to stop Garu from shivering.
" The first day I saw you, you made my heart skip a beat, you are the most wonderful girl I have ever seen, you are talented, you are strong, and you will make it" Garu crying said.
" What do you mean?" Pucca asked expecting the sad answer that she had to make it without him.
"You will be okay my love" Garu said.
"Don't say that, of course not, you are my everything if I ever lost you I don't know what I will do" Pucca said, kissing his lips.
"Pucca," Garu called.
"yes" Pucca crying replied.
" Promise me that whatever happens that your smile will never fade away" Garu stated.
" I Promise, but you promise that you will fight to be okay" Pucca said, holding him and caressing his face.
" I Promise" Garu said.
" I love you Garu " Pucca said
" I love you too, It will be okay" Garu replied.
"My love" Pucca said, with Garu in her arms.
" I'll fall sleep because that brings me closer to you" Garu said, with that Garu closed his eyes, Pucca cried, called his name multiple times but no answer came from his lips.
" It will all be okay, it will be okay, you promised" Pucca said as she held Garu tightly.
