It started out a simply as rock concert. Then without warning alien robots led by Evil Emperor Zurg attacked the Earth, kidnapping the world's greatest superheroes, and imprisoning them on the frozen planet of Fridgidaria. It was here that five young heroes uncover a diabolical plan that could threatened the whole universe! Realizing that they needed to get this information back to earth, they attempted a daring escape only to get lost in a devastating blizzard!
After escaping Zurg's forces by driving head first into a blizzard, our heroes hid inside a cave hoping to find shelter from the storm. In order to conserve energy, and also not to intimidate Guy, they all reverted back to their civilian forms. Using the gas from the snowmobile, they created a small fire and huddled around it, trying to keep from freezing to death. "Sorry guys, but it looks like this is the last of the fuel in the car," Jake said pouring the last of the fuel into the fire.
"Every bit helps," Guy shivered wishing he had his game blanket with him.
"Maybe we can find something anything else we can burn?" Randy asked searching the insides of the snowmobile.
"How about that book of yours?" Manny asked. Enraged by what he just suggested, Randy tackled the young neutral to the ground.
"Don't even joke about that!" Randy threatened holding up his mask. "And may I remind you that it is your fault that we are in this predicament, so how about you burn your belt buckle first!"
"You better back off, if you know what's good for you," Manny warned reaching for his belt buckle.
"Alright you two that's enough you two!" Danny and Jake yelled splitting the two apart.
"Look we don't have time for this, we need to get this information to, well someone who can help," Danny said waving the thumb drive.
"You're right, I'm sorry man," Manny apologized extending his hand to Randy.
"Me too bro," Randy said shaking Manny hand.
"Great now that we are all friends again, can someone figure out away to deal with our heating problem!" Guy complained shivering like crazy.
"I have an idea!" Manny said excitedly as he ran into the snowmobile and started tearing it apart. A few minutes later he pulled out some device and threw it down.
"What is that?" the others asked him.
"The car's heater, we can use this to stay warm." Manny figured.
"Idiot, the heater was damaged during the fight! All of the electronic equipment was. That's why we are reduced to burning the gas!" They all reminded him.
"Hold up guys," Danny said after examining the heater. "This thing looks like it's still in good working order, it just needs a power source."
"Again we already burned the fuel," Jake repeated.
"I've got this, Ninja Electro-ball!" Randy yelled pulling out a green orb. He then plugged the heater to it. Sure enough the heater came to life and started warming up the cave.
"Good work man," they all cheered.
"So wait," Guy said feeling all confused. "If the heater works now, then why didn't it when it was still in the car?"
"Probably because that last attack damaged the um flux capacitors, which it ah messed up the power distributors, and that's why it didn't work." Danny explained using the techno babble that he often hears Tucker saying, but not really knowing what they all mean.
"Ah I see," Guy said nodding his head, pretending to understand.
"Yo wait up," Jake having a realization. "Randy how many of those balls you have?"
"Five more," Randy answered showing his stock of electro-balls.
"Great!" Jake said as he pulled another piece of equipment out of the snowmobile. "Can you plug this baby in?"
"No problem," Randy said as he powered up the device. "So what is it?"
"It's the onboard computer," Jake explained. "Maybe we can use this thing to find a way off this rock."
"Don't you mean off this ice cube," Manny laughed. Everyone started glaring at him causing him to cower. The last thing any of the them wanted to be reminded of, is how cold it is.
"Anything?" Guy asked Jake as he fiddled with the controls.
"Sir I'm afraid we lost the trail," they heard Crasher over the communicator.
"Well keep searching until you find them! All night if you have too!" Zurg's voice came over.
"But sire, the storm is getting worst!" Crasher begged.
"DON'T MAKE ME COME OUT THERE!" Zurg threatened.
"Resuming search patterns, we'll report if we find anything," Crasher responded.
"That's what I thought," Zurg laughed.
At that point the computer died down as the electro-ball ran out of juice. The heater kept going since it doesn't use as much power. "Looks like we won't be going anywhere for the night," Jake reported. "So let's all just get some sleep."
"I'll take the first watch," Danny volunteered. " I'm used to working late hours." Everyone else cradled around either the fire or heater. As they all settled down, Danny plugged another electro-ball into the computer and inserted the thumb drive into it. "Whoa, this is even bigger than we imagined," Danny gasped . "I've got to tell the others..." Danny turned to see them all sound asleep. "Maybe later." Danny deciding to let them sleep.
It was near the crack of dawn when the storm finally stopped. Standing the final watch, Guy slapped himself trying to keep from falling asleep. That's when he heard some strange footsteps in the snow. "Who's there!" he said nervously, wishing he kept his ring, or at least some kind of weapon. Scooping a hand full of snow, Guy made himself a small snowball. "I have a snowball and I'm not afraid to use it!" he declared.
"Please I'm unarmed," a woman said raising her hands as she approached the cave entrance.
"GUYS! WE'VE GOT COMPANY!" Guy yelled trying to alert his friends. They all soon got up and immediately went into defense mode after seeing the newcomer.
"Who are you? Are you with that Zurm character?" Randy demanded.
"I take it you mean Zurg," the lady amused. "But no, I am not with him. My name is Dr. Ozma Furbanna. I'm an animal researcher."
"What kind of animals can you find in this dump?" Manny asked.
"Oh you'll be surprised," Ozma said inviting the boys to come with her to her outpost. Seeing as how their options was a freezing cave or a nice warm base. The decision was a no brainer. At her camp, she offered the boys some warm cocoa and food rations, which they greatly appreciated. "You asked what sort of creatures I can find here," Ozma led them to a chamber under her base. There they saw several dragon-like creatures frozen in the ice. "Aren't they magnificent. Frozen for over a millennia and yet they are still alive. Perhaps the last of their species." Ozma gazed fondly at them.
"Frost Dragons," Jake spat. "It would have been better if they had died out!"
"HOW CAN YOU SAY THAT!?" Ozma gasped.
"Look lady, you don't know what you've got here!" Jake stepped up. "These guys only live for destruction, they're the caused several ice ages, and it took all the magical powers of the entire Dragon clans to banish them to the abyss! I guess this is where they got banished to."
"You people are all alike! Just because some creatures are dangerous you feel that you have the right to destroy them! Well let me tell you, animal conservation doesn't mean just protecting the cute ones! It also means helping the dangerous and deadly ones as well!"
"Man, even Sam would think this woman is nuts," Danny commented.
"Well you're all too late! I've already finished my work, and in just a couple minutes, these noble creatures will live again!" Ozma said as she pressed the on button. All along the cavern walls, these heaters began melting the ice.
"NO STOP!" Jake pleaded but it was too late. The Frost Dragons soon all came to life.
"Yes, yes come back to life you magnificent animals," Ozma encouraged.
"WHO ARE YOU CALLING ANIMALS!" one of the frost dragons roared.
"Wait you're sentient?" Ozma gasped in shock.
"That's what I've been trying to tell you!" Jake yelled. "These guys aren't wild animals, they're criminals that my ancestors banished here!"
"Yes, and in celebration of our revival we shall destroy you all! Then we shall return home and destroy that as well!"
"Not while I'm here!" Jake said jumping in front the frost dragons. "DRAGON UP!" Jake yelled transforming into his dragon form.
"A Fire Dragon!" they roared.
"Not just him!" Manny said twirling his belt. "EL TIGRE!"
"GOING GHOSTS!" Danny cried as two ecto-rings surrounded him.
"IT'S NINJA TIME!" Randy yelled putting on his mask.
Ozma glanced at Guy expecting him to do a similar transformation, or at least scream some kind of battle cry. "I've got nothing," Guy admitted sadly looking at his empty ring hand.
"Then you'll probably need this," Ozma said handing the boy one of her blasters.
"I thought you were against hurting others?" Guy wondered.
"No, my only desire is protecting endangered animals. But I don't care what happens to intelligent beings!" Ozma clarified as she started shooting the frost dragons.
"Man, you are on a whole new level of cray cray!" Guy commented as he started shooting as well.
"Yeah I get that a lot," Ozma chuckled, taking that as a compliment.
The battle against the frost dragons wasn't going to well. Not only were the heroes outnumbered, but none of their attacks were doing much damage! "Ninja Tengu Fireball!" the Ninja called out, throwing a fireball.
"NO! Don't do that!" the AmDrag warned, but it was too late. The Ninja threw his fireball at an frost dragon, knocking him down but not out!
"Huh I thought that would work," the Ninja scratching his head in confusion. Figuring that it would melt something called a frost dragon. "What gives?"
"They may be called frost dragons, but it's not because they are made of ice. It's because they feed off of heat! The more heat they absorb the stronger they become, freezing the area around them!" AmDrag explained.
"I don't get it," Tigre said getting completely lost in the explanation. The Ninja and Guy also shrugged as well.
"I see," Danny said somewhat understanding. "So how about if we do this!" Danny shot his ice beams from his eyes freezing one of the dragons. "Yes!" he cheered after seeing that he incapacitated one.
"Pretty cool, literally, but check this out, Ninja Cold Balls!" the Ninja called out throwing the frozen projectiles freezing more dragons! Unfortunately their victory was short lived as the other frost dragons grabbed their frozen companions and thawed them out using the heaters that Ozma set up.
"Hm, maybe we should have gotten rid of those heaters first," Tigre said in retrospect.
"Take out those heaters!" Guy ordered. Responding to his command. AmDrag, Tigre, Ozma, and Guy began destroying the heaters while Danny and the Ninja focused on using their ice attacks to freeze the frost dragons! Pretty soon all the frost dragons were back in their icy tomb.
"That takes care of that!" Tigre said feeling extremely proud of himself.
"Yeah let's get out of here, I have a fresh batch of cocoa brewing." Ozma invited.
"ALRIGHT!" the boys cheered. As the exited the cavern several shots came out of nowhere! Blasting them from all directions "What's going on?" Guy frantically asked.
"Me!" Zurg said as he flew down. "I'm what's going on, and those were just warning shots."
"Zurg! What are you doing here?" Ozma demanded.
"How did you find us?" AmDrag asked slowly recovering from that last attack.
"We detected the energy readings from this base and came to investigate," Crasher explained.
"Yeah, but why is he here," Tigre asked pointing to Zurg. "I thought he'd stay in the nice warm prison delegating or something."
"Yes well I ran out of cocoa," Zurg admitted, feeling a bit embarrassing about it. "But to find you boys here as well. Bonus!"
"NEVER!" Ozma declared. After what he did to her there's no way she would never give him anything. Not even cocoa!
"If that's the way you're going to be about it," Zurg sighed sadly. "OPEN FIRE!" he commanded. Crasher and the rest of the Go-Bots began firing on the scientist. Giving in to their heroic instincts AmDrag, Ninja, Danny Phantom, and yes even El Tigre jumped in to protect her. Ozma held Guy back, even shielding him with her own body, since he didn't have any powers like the others. At least none that she knew of. After the smoke cleared; Jake, Danny, Randy, and Manny were all laying on the ground. That merciless attack, forcing them back into their civilian forms. Leaving only Ozma and Guy standing. Guy stood there grinding his teeth with rage; and wishing, not for the first time but now more than ever, that he still had his ring.
