I think I should warn you: this chapter is full of action, violence and the end is really sad and tragic. If you think things like these disturb you, please, don't read.
Kurt opened his eyes slowly – and then closed them almost instantly as unbearable pain ran through his head from his temple. He groaned and moved his head to ease the pain. He felt dizzy and he knew if he doesn't do anything against the headache, he will throw up. He tried to breath slowly and swallowed a few times. The pain in his head was still there but it wasn't so bad, so he tried to open his eyes again. He blinked carefully, getting used to the light around him. He moved his head again to take a better look from the unfamiliar place.
"Kurt, are you okay?"
That voice... he knew that voice.
"Hey, Blaine" he smiled, turning to the voice's direction with closed eyes.
"God, you're finally awake. I was so worried" Blaine said. Kurt heard strange noises, like chains rattling in the background and the noises came closer to him.
"Just give me a few more minutes. I'm tired" Kurt said and turned away. Unfortunately, the noises just came closer and didn't let him slip back into the comfortable blackness he had come from.
"Kurt, please, open your eyes" Blaine pleaded.
Kurt groaned, turned his head again and opened his eyes to face Blaine.
"Look, I'm really not in the mood..."
Kurt finally took in his surroundings and he fell silent in the middle of his sentence. He blinked a few times, just to be sure he wasn't hallucinating, and when the room didn't change in front of his eyes, he gulped. It was one of the most horrible places he had ever seen, although he had been unlucky to see some horrible things in the past months. He was in some sort of a cage and he wasn't alone. Just beside his small prison, there was another cage with Blaine in it. He was chained to the wall and he looked incredibly pale.
"What happened?" Kurt asked and sat up slowly. His head hurt like hell but he needed to focuse on more important things. As he moved, he felt something heavy around his wrists. He looked down to see them chained to the wall in the same manner Blaine was. He tried to stand up to try and pull his hands through the chains, but his cell was too small. All he could do was sit on the ground. He tried the chains anyway, but they were too strong for him to get free.
"You don't remember?" Blaine asked with wide eyes. "No wonder, you were out for two days."
"What?" Kurt looked up from the chains to meet Blaine's eyes.
"Hunor... he got free and... God, I was so worried when I woke up. I saw you on the ground and you didn't move and you didn't wake up when we got here and..."
"Blaine, calm down, I'm fine" Kurt cut in to stop the man's babbling.
"I didn't know, okay? I was so worried" Blaine said again.
"Two days?" Kurt asked and reached out to carefully touch his temple. He finally remembered everything and he looked up again at Blaine. "Are you okay? God, what did he do to you?"
"I'm fine, Kurt" Blaine said and tried to smile and not show how tired and weak he was. But he wasn't a good actor, he just made Kurt look more worried.
"No, you're not" he said. "We have to find a way out of here and get you help."
He tried to free himself again but of course he couldn't. Even if he hadn't been chained to the wall, he couldn't open the door of the cage.
"There's no way out, Kurt" Blaine said quietly. "Believe me, I tried."
Kurt didn't listen, he pulled against the chains even harder.
"Kurt, stop!" Blaine shouted and Kurt finally stopped. He looked up slowly to meet Blaine's eyes. "I have a plan but you have to listen to me."
Kurt nodded.

The woman screamed as her back hit the wall hard. She didn't see her attacker, he was too fast, all she knew she couldn't get away. She took a step forward but a hand come out of nowhere and pushed her back.
"Leave me alone, please" she pleaded.
All she got as response was a laugh from the other. She tried to run again but the other's hands pushed her back again. This time, her attacker didn't step back, he stayed in front of her, squeezing her shoulders and leaning forward. The woman screamed and closed her eyes.
She waited for something horrible to come but nothing happened. She didn't dare to open her eyes and she was too frightened to realise her attacker had let go of her. Only when she felt a touch on her shoulder she opened her eyes and screamed again.
"Hey, it's okay" came the calm voice from beside her. She looked up to see two men standing only a few steps away from her.
"He... I..." she stuttered and started crying.
"He's gone" Sam said and tried to be as comforting as possible.
"You should get out of here" Puck said. "Can you go home alone?"
The woman nodded.
"Yes. Tha-thank you" she said and left quickly before something bad could happen to her.
The two men stayed in the alley, looking after her.
"You think this one will do it?" Sam asked. Puck shrugged.
"I hope so" he said. "We have to stop this before the demons outnumber us."
"Do you think he did it?" Sam asked.
"Of course" Puck sighed. It wasn't the first time Sam asked something like that. "Kurt is still missing and there're too many demons in the city. Something happened and I'm sure it has to do something with Blaine."
"I just hope we can save them in time" Sam said quietly.
"We will. Now let's go back and try the spell again" Puck said and led his friend out of the alley.

"This is insane" Kurt hissed when Blaine told him about his plan. "Even if I was able to control my power to go back there, it would be too risky."
Blaine told him about Hunor's plan to bring back the last Chosen and get informations from him. Blaine's big idea was for Kurt to go back into the past, find the Chosen and learn more about the powers he had given them.
"It's the only way. We have to learn more about your power. He felt something really powerful around you and I think it can help us" Blaine said. "You have to try."
"I can't" Kurt whispered. He was still tired and dizzy, all he wanted was to get home, sleep and forget this whole madness.
"Yes, you can and you will if you don't want us to die here" Blaine responded.
Kurt sighed and looked up to meet the man's eyes. He knew it was a bad idea, he could never say 'no' to Blaine and unfortunately the other knew it very well.
"Fine" he sighed. "But if I get killed or worse I'll come back and haunt you."
"Okay" Blaine laughed.
Kurt lay down and closed his eyes. He didn't know what he should do. He tried to search a few times but it took a lot out of him and he wasn't in a good state now. He tried to find out how to find somebody he didn't know, never saw, but before he could go deeper in his thoughts he saw the bright blue light around him.
When Kurt opened his eyes, he found himself in a cave. And he wasn't alone. There was another man standing in the farther end of the cave, with a box in his hands.
"The Jala Vatah" he heard somebody whispering beside him and when he looked up, he found Blaine there to his surprise.
"What are you doing here?" he asked.
"I brought him here" the stranger said and turned towards them.
"Wow, that's strange" Kurt whispered and didn't move, too afraid of what could happen.
"I won't hurt you" the man smiled as he stepped closer to them. "My name is Will and I'm here to help you."
"You can help us?" Blaine asked and stepped in front of Kurt to defend him if he had to.
"Of course. That's why you came here, right?" Will smiled.
"You're the last Chosen?" Kurt asked.
"Yes" Will answered and looked down at the box in his hand. "The demon you have to deal with is really strong. I lost all of my loved ones before I was able to catch him. I don't want you to go through something like this. That's why I made the spell to give you enough power to defeat him."
Kurt looked around in the cave. If they were in the past, how were they able to...
"It's not the past" Will said. Kurt's eyes widened when he realised the man was able to hear his thoughts. "Well, it's not really. It's the same time but another dimension. It was the only way for me to come back and talk to you."
"That's really..." Kurt started but Will finished his sentence.
"Strange. I know. But we don't have time to talk about this. You have to go back soon and I have thing to tell you about."
"Okay. So how can we stop him? And what is with Kurt's power? The demon knows there's something special about him" Blaine said.
"As I already told you, he's really strong. He killed the other Chosens the last time and I needed all of my power to stop him. I knew I din't have much time left. So I made a spell to give our power to you. That's what you three have, Blaine" Will said. "But it's not enough. I knew I can't make your power stronger than it was, so I gave Kurt the ability of seeing. This way, he could help you to find the demons and send them back before it's too late."
"Okay, we knew this" Kurt said impatiently. "But what about the last one? How can we stop him?"
"You have to use the power of each of you. The other Chosens, too. And your power, Kurt. You're really important" Will said.
"But how? All I can do is seeing things" Kurt said.
"That's not true and you know that. When he attacked you and you had to defend yourself, you used your power against him. All you have to do is use that power again. And you will be able to win" Will said.
"But I don't know how to use it!" Kurt almost yelled in frustration. Why couldn't the man just tell him how to do it?
"Your heart will tell you when the time is right" Will said. Kurt wanted to ask again but he felt something pulling him back and away from the man.
Kurt opened his eyes and found himself in his cell again. He sat up as fast as he could and saw as Blaine opened his eyes. He was close to ask him what he thought had happened in that vision but he had a feeling he should remain silent. Seconds later, he understood why. Hunor was standing not too far away from them, staying in the shadows to not let them know he was there. Kurt's eyes widened and climbed back into the corner of the cage. The man smiled when he saw how scared Kurt was and stepped closer.
"I think we should talk. What do you think, Kurt?" Hunor asked.
He went straight to Kurt's cage and opened the door. Kurt felt the chains around his wrists loosen and they fell down a second later. Hunor waved towards him and he flew out of the cage. He groaned as his back hit the wall and he fell down to the ground.
"Leave him alone!" Blaine screamed.
"Stay out of this! I'll deal with you later" Hunor hissed and grabbed Kurt, pulling him back on his feet. He twisted the boy's arms and held them securely behind his back, careful to not let Kurt touch him.
Blaine watched him lead Kurt out of the room, unable to do something against it.

Puck and Sam walked slowly down the dark corridor to not make too much noise. They had found something back in the hotel and they decided to go and continue their search there. They were nervous because they didn't know what they will find there but they had to do the right thing. And it was finding the demon and stopping him before he can destroy the world.
"This place is disgusting" Sam whispered as he saw a few dead rats beside the wall.
"It reminds me of our favourite cave back in the Carpathians" Puck murmured.
"Uh, don't say that. I don't want to face something like that again" Sam said.
"But we will" Puck sighed. "Better sooner than later."
"Look! There's something lighting" Sam motioned towards the end of the corridor.
"Yeah. We have to be careful" Puck said and prepared himself for whatever they will find there.
They reached the end of the corridor and it led them into a small room. It was still dark but there were candles around, giving the room a dim light. They looked around but found nobody there, so they took a few steps forward.
"Sam? Puck?"
They jumped as they heard the sudden voice of Blaine. The last thing they knew was that the demon had Blaine's body under control and he wanted to kill them, so Puck formed a fireball and was ready to attack as he turned into the voice's direction. The light illuminated Blaine, sitting in a cage with his hands chained to the wall.
"What happened to you, dude?" Sam asked as he made his way to the cage.
"Thank God you're here. The demon got his body back and he took Kurt with him. You have to let me out of here, fast" Blaine said.
"Not so fast" Puck said and took a few steps towards the cage. He didn't believe Blaine at all.
"Hey, it's me" Blaine said.
"Yeah, of course. With a demon inside of you, waiting for killing us" Puck growled and lifted the fireball in his hand.
"Stop" Sam said and grabbed Puck's wrist. "What if it's really him?"
"It's me, I swear" Blaine said. "Look, I can prove it. When we were seventeen, Sam's dad lost his job and I convinced my parents to pay for his tuition, so he didn't have to leave Dalton. And-and you, Puck. You asked me to go to Los Angeles with you instead of going home for Christmas. My dad didn't talk to me for months after that."
"It's him!" Sam said happily.
"But... how?" Puck asked as he put down his hand.
"He captured the last demon and he became strong enough to get his body back. He brought us here and locked us up. But he took Kurt with him and it was a long time ago. We have to hurry!" Blaine said urgently.
"Okay, step back" Sam said.
Blaine got back to the wall and watched as Sam stepped to the door of his cage and ripped it out easily. Then he reached out for Blaine's hands and freed him from the chains, too.
"Are you fine?" Sam asked when Blaine climbed out and stood up unsteadily.
"Yeah" Blaine nodded and started walking towards the door where he saw Kurt and the demon disappearing.

Hunor led Kurt into another room. It was large and light with a throne in the middle. The demon pushed Kurt to the ground and sat down, looking at the boy angrily.
"I think you have something to tell me" the man said.
Kurt stood up slowly, looking around, searching for a way to escape.
"You're not going anywhere, you know" the demon said calmly. "Now tell me what did our sweet old Will tell you."
"I don't know what you're talking about" Kurt said quickly, a little too quickly. Hunor stood up and walked to him, grabbing the boy's shirt and pulling him closer.
"I'm tired of these games, Kurt. I know very well where you were and who you were with, so tell me everything he said about your power" Hunor said.
Kurt didn't know what to do. He knew he couldn't tell the demon what Will had said but what should he do?
Hunor shook his head slowly as he watched the boy.
"I thought you were a smart boy, Kurt" he said and grabbed Kurt's shoulders, pushing the boy against the wall.
Kurt groaned as his back impacted with the wall and he felt the pain running through his spine. He forced his legs to move and stepped to the side, ready to run to the door. Hunor smiled as he saw Kurt moving towards the escape but he was faster, he reached the boy in seconds and threw him back against the wall again.
"You know I will get that information one way or another" Hunor said and grabbed Kurt's neck.
"I can't help you" Kurt said quickly and reached out to touch the demon's face.
This time Hunor was prepared and caught Kurt's wrist, he twisted the boy's arm and held onto it as he slammed Kurt back to the wall. Kurt saw stars in front of his eyes as his head hit the wall and if the demon didn't hold him up, he would have fallen to his knees.
"Oh, darling, you really thought you're strong enough to fight against me?" Hunor asked and he added more pressure to hold Kurt down. The boy screamed in pain and started struggling to get away. "What do you think? Will you tell me what I want to know or should I continue?"
Kurt screamed again but even his voice wasn't loud enough to suppress the noise of a bone's breaking as his arm couldn't take more pressure. Kurt had never felt pain like this. He couldn't stop screaming as he struggled to break free but only caused more pain for himself. But then, it suddenly stopped. He could still feel the stinging sensation in his arm but it was bearable. He opened his eyes and found himself on his knees, facing the wall. He turned around slowly, cautious to not look down because he was sure he was going to be sick if he sees his damaged arm.
Hunor was still there, looking down at him with a smile on his face. He crouched, so his eyes were in the same level as Kurt's and reached out to stroke the boy's face gently.
"Now will you tell me what Will said about your power or should I show you how sophisticated my torturing methods are?"
Kurt shook his head severely. Anything but this.

The three man moved forward slowly on the dark corridors. They knew they had to be fast but it wouldn't help if they let the demon know they're coming. Blaine was really worried by now, he knew they gave the demon too much time to hurt Kurt but he couldn't do anything before they get there.
Suddenly, they heard someone screaming not too far away from them.
"Did you...?" Sam started but Blaine didn't listen to him as he rushed forward.
"Blaine, stop!" Puck hissed and he caught Blaine's arm.
"Let me go" Blaine growled and tried to free himself from Puck's grip.
"We have to be careful" the other man said. "You want to help him, right? Then be quiet and slow down."
Blaine took a deep breath and nodded. Puck was right, of course. They had to be careful. They started walking towards the voices, faster this time. They heard Kurt scream again and it was so horrible to hear, but they were close now. They reached the large place and peeked inside.
Kurt and the demon were on the other end of the room. Kurt was on his knees and they could tell from were they were standing that he was in pain. Blaine even saw the tears running down his face. The demon was standing in front of him, looking down at him. And that bastard was smiling.
Blaine couldn't suppress his growl of anger. Unfortunately, the demon could hear him, because he grabbed Kurt's arm and pulled him up to his feet as he turned towards them.
"Ah, you're finally joining us" Hunor smiled. "Great."
"Let him go" Blaine shouted as he stepped into the room with Puck and Sam by his side.
"Are you angry because I've hurt your little boyfriend here?" Hunor asked and ran his fingers through Kurt's hair. The boy shuddered under his touch.
"I won't say it again, let him go!" Blaine said and took a few steps towards them.
"I'm scared, really" Hunor said and rolled his eyes. He pushed Kurt to the ground and waited for the Chosens to attack him.
And he didn't have to wait too long. Blaine surged forward, using his power to form a sword and ready to use it against the demon. Hunor smiled and stopped the man easily, sending him back flying acroos the room.
"Blaine!" Kurt screamed and stood up to run to his boyfriend but Hunor waved towards him and an invisible force made Kurt stop and unable to move his legs. All he could do was watch as Hunor turned to the other Chosens.
The demon attacked Sam next who held his hands in front of him defensively. He wanted to grab the demon and push him back, but as his hands made contact with the demon's body, a strong wave of wind came out of nowhere, forcing the demon back to the wall.
"How did you do that?" Puck asked in amazement.
"I don't know..." Sam answered, lloking at his hands with wide eyes.
"Watch out!" Blaine shouted as he finally stood up.
Hunor was running towards Puck who turned around toface him too late and didn't have enough time to defend himself as the demon grabbed his shoulders and threw him against the wall. Puck fell to the ground with a groan and didn't move.
"Oh, God" Kurt whispered and tried to free himself from the invisible grasp. He had to help the others.
The demon tried to attack Sam again but he was able to force him back again. Hunor growled in frustration and shook his head. He surged forward again, attacking Blaine this time. He was an easy target, still too weak to fight against him. Hunor grabbed him before he could do anything and hurled him across the room, right towards Sam. Sam caught his friend before he could fall but he didn't see the demon running towards them and he wasn't able to stop him in time. Hunor hit Sam hard and knocked him out.
Blaine jumped away from him fast. He had to figure out something and quickly, before the demon can hurt him. He looked at Kurt for a second, remembering Will's words.
"Kurt, I think you should figure out how to use that power. Preferably now, if I can ask you" he said.
"I-I can't" Kurt said, desperately fighting against his invisible bounds.
Hunor laughed as he saw his struggling and stepped closer to Blaine.
"It's just me and you now. I'm so happy to finally kill you" he said and took a few steps closer again.
Blaine moved back until he felt te wall behind his back. There was no way to go, he had to fight. He formed another sword and held it up in front of him.
"Do you think you can stop me?" Hunor smiled and waved towards Blaine. The sword in his hand broke in two and the demon didn't even had to touch it. The man's eyes widened. Hunor took a step towards him again. "Say goodbye, Blaine. Your time's up."
Hunor reached out to grab Blaine's neck when he felt something hot hitting his back. He hissed and turned around.
"Leave him alone, asshole!" Puck said and sent another fireball towards the demon. He jumped away from it's way this time but he was attacked again from another direction. Sam was on his feet, too, and used his newly found power to make the demon back away from Blaine.
As his concentration broke, the demon wasn't able to hold back Kurt anymore. The boy was able to move again and he ran to the others to join the fight. Hunor saw the opportunity and stepped towards him but Blaine was beside him in a second, with his broken sword in his hand. He stabbed the demon in his chest, making him stop.
Hunor growled in pain and his eyes flashed in yellow. He grabbed the sword and pulled it out and before somebody could make a move, he jabbed Blaine with it not too far from his heart.
Everything slowed down in front of Kurt's eyes. He ran faster but he was too late and he had to watch as the sword entered Blaine's chest and the man's eyes widened. Kurt screamed when he saw Blaine staggering, looking down at the weapon in his chest with fear and disbelief. His face was too pale and he couldn't stand on his feet anymore, he sank down onto his knees slowly.
And that was the moment when Kurt felt something exploding in his chest. He didn't really know what happened, all he could see was Blaine and the demon towering over him. He saw the demon smiling down at the man in front of him and it made Kurt see red. He stepped forward, not knowing about the bright blue light around him or that Puck and Sam jumped back as he moved closer. All he could see was the demon who had just hurt the man he loved and he wanted revenge.
What happened next, was a blur in the reality but Kurt see every single movement of it. He saw the demon's eyes widen as he turned towards him, he saw him trying to attack him but Kurt knew he was stronger than him. He could control the blue light as if it was a part of him. He waved towards the demon and the blue light shot out from his hands towards Hunor and hit the demon in his chest. He screamed as the light got under his skin, making him burn and freeze at the same time from inside. And in the next second, he exploded into a million small pieces before he disappeared. The blue light which came from Kurt disappeared with him, too, leaving them alone in the silent and dark room.
Kurt's eyes cleared as he looked around in confusion. His brain tried to process what had happened only seconds earlier and the others were staring at him with wide eyes. Nobody understood what or how happened, all they knew it was over.
Kurt heard Blaine's groan of pain and his eyes snapped towards him. The man was still on the ground, now lying on his side, breathing heavily.
"Blaine!" he shouted and ran to him. He fell to his knees beside Blaine and he heard the others' footsteps around them but he didn't take his eyes from Blaine's face.
"You-you were great" Blaine whispered and lifted his hand to touch Kurt's face.
"Don't you dare die here, Anderson" Puck said and he pressed his shaky hands on Blaine's wound to stop the bleeding.
"L-late" Blaine stuttered. "Wi-will miss you."
"You can't do this!" Kurt heard Sam shouting.
Again, the time slowed down. Blaine tried to breath but he couldn't. He coughed and Kurt's eyes widened when he saw a small stream of blood leaving Blaine's mouth. He wanted to tell him that it will be alright, that they won't let him die but he couldn't say a word. His eyes met Blaine's one more time before Blaine closed his own ones and didn't open them again.
"Blaine" Kurt whispered and shook the man's shoulders. He didn't move. "Blaine? Blaine!"
Hot tears blinded him as he shook the man again and again until two strong arms grabbed him from behind and pulled him back. He didn't know if it was Sam or Puck and he didn't care. He was still screaming Blaine's name and couldn't take off his eyes from the man's face, waiting for him to wake up.
Because he wasn't ready to accept that Blaine was gone.
