Weeks have past and Mitchie has been trying to avoid Shane as much as possible. She knew that it was not right but Shane looked happy with Tess. Even though she was sad, all her friends could see it too but when they tried to bring it up Mitchie would stop them. She loved her friends but it hurt too much. Maybe they were right about helping fate out.

Mitchie was sitting by the lake with Caitlyn. They were watching the campers do water sports. It was a nice and sunny day. It was perfect for the water sports. Everyone love doing the water sports and later on there was going to be a surprise for the campers. Mitchie was laughing at Sander and Barran; they were the protectors of goal for the water polo. Mitchie saw that Shane and Tess were out in the middle of the lake in a canoe. Mitchie sighed and remembered when Shane took her out there in a canoe.

"Mitchie are you alright?" Caitlyn asked.

"Yeah I guess." Mitchie looked away from the lake. "Maybe you are right. I think it is time to help fate."

Caitlyn looked confused at first and then it clicked. She was surprised that Mitchie said that.

"Are you sure?"

"No but something in my gut is telling me that Tess is just using him." Mitchie said getting up.

They walked to where Nate and Jason were with the rest of their friends. Caitlyn was grinning and skipping to them. Nate saw that and knew something was up.

"Uh oh. What got you in a good mood?" Nate asked.

"Mitchie admitted that we were right about getting Shane to remember. She wants to help." Caitlyn said in a happy tone.

Nate from Mitchie to Caitlyn like she was telling lies. He did not believe what Caitlyn said. He thought she gone crazy or at least threated Mitchie to help. Mitchie saw the look in Nate's eyes and said,

"She is not lying. I believe that he has a right to remember. It is not that I want to break Tess and him up but I do believe that he needs to remember." Mitchie stated.

"It would have nothing to do with Shane's and your past history?" Ella asked.

"I just want Shane to be happy. If you actually look in Shane's eyes you can see that he is not happy that he does not remember." Mitchie said.

Nate and Jason left the others to go and talk to Shane. They had some questions that they could only get answers. They saw Shane heading to his cabin. They ran to the cabin and Nate asked,

"Do you miss having your memories?"

"What are you talking about?" Shane asked.

"Do you miss not remembering? You must have these black spots in your mind that you don't remember certain things. Do you remember when you wrote Gotta Find You?" Nate asked.

"Actually now thinking of it, no I don't remember when I wrote that song. Yeah I guess I do wish that I remember some stuff. It's like there are things that I know that I did but I just don't remember them. I know one thing, the girl Mitchie reminded me of something. Every time I am around her or something I see a scene in my head like a movie." Shane admitted.

Nate smiled at that. He knew that means he is remembering. Mitchie has had a big part in his life at that time, so he was not surprised about that. Nate was now debating whether or not telling him that he knew Mitchie. Before Nate could decide Jason opened his mouth up and said,

"Well of course. Mitchie was there for you during that time."

"What? Was she really?" Shane asked surprises.

Nate just nodded his head and watched Shane level the cabin. Nate looked toward Jason and they both were confused. They did not know where Shane was going but he did look mad.
