Hey guys, sorry for the wait I have exams coming up and stuff oh and by the way Hiccup is around 16 here and is about to graduate HS sorry for the confusion
"What am I going to do?" Hiccup silently screamed resting his head in his hands. He was currently in the park on the swing talking to no one in particular. His father was home and graduation is coming in a few months and as soon as Hiccup gets that diploma Stoick would probably ship him off to Harvard before you could say "Night Fury", then what? Hiccup would live an unhappy life and Jamie would probably be even farther from his dreams. A shadow suddenly casted upon Hiccup
"Whattya moping around for?" A voice said making Hiccup look up and meet a pair of piercing blue eyes
"Hey Astrid, beautiful morning huh?" Hiccup said absent mindedly, it was around 7 on a Saturday morning and Astrid was wearing a light blue long sleeved hoodie with a white undershirt, a matching pair of jogging pants and a black and violet sketchers shape ups. She had her blond hair pulled into a messy pony tail making a few strands hang loose
"Yeah it's wonderful now seriously what's your problem?" she asked sitting on the empty swing beside him. He just sighed
"What am I going to do Astrid? My dad is home and is proud of me for something I didn't do, I wouldn't have passed without Jamie and he'll probably ship me off to some school for lawyers!" he exasperated slamming his head into his hands once more covering his face. Astrid just shook her head and rested her hand on Hiccup's back
"Have you tried telling your dad about your dilemma?" She suggested. Hiccup looked up with a bemused face
"Oh yeah, what was I thinking? Why haven't I tried that before" he said sarcastically making Astrid chuckle a bit
"Just try Hiccup, maybe get your dad to see the light" she said standing up popping one of her earphones into her ear. She gave him a chaste kiss on the cheek
"I got to go finish my rounds, see you later" she said running off leaving Hiccup to deal with his problems alone. Hiccup sighed eyeing the nearby woods near the park, he's been walking around there since he was 13 and knew it like the back of his hands. He got up and crawled under the loose wiring and walked away.

Hiccup sighed contentedly listening to the chirps of the birds. It's been years since he last went here and he missed the effect the forest had on him. He thought about what Astrid told him, it could work if he got courageous enough but when will that happen? He wasn't courageous at all, he was scrawny and honestly he didn't know what Astrid saw in him. Hiccup's train of thought ended when he heard shouts
"Argh!" a voice called out as if it was attacking someone. Hiccup tensed up and quietly followed the sounds to the cove he used to hide in when he was younger
"Hmph!" The voice said even clearer and louder. Hiccup scrunched up his face as he thought, the voice sounded familiar to him but who was it? He snuck up on a ledge and was shocked at what he saw. It was Toothless wearing a black muscle shirt and pants, there was a small make shift house on the side and he was surrounded with straw dummies. He was wearing a blind fold as balls shot out of a device, he deflected all of them with one swift movement. Hiccup tried to get closer but a twig snapped alerting Toothless whom threw a knife at Hiccup's direction which he dodged
"Woah!" Hiccup screamed as he ducked, the knife only centimeters away from him. Toothless removed his blindfold panting
"Hiccup, what are you doing here?" he asked as Hiccup climbed down, holding the knife Toothless gave him
"I could ask you the same thing" He answered looking around the cove. There was a fire pit nearby and a rack with swords and knives on it
"I have to keep in shape somehow, and besides I need to defend myself" he said wiping his forehead with a towel. Hiccup just nodded as his eyes roamed around
"You uh want to come in?" He asked gesturing to the make shift house on the side. If Hiccup's memory served him well there used to be a small little cave made out of roots there which is what the house was made off
"Sure" Hiccup replied as the two walked in. It was cozy with a little bed on a corner made out of blankets, a wooden box, some grass and a pillow. There was a desk in a corner and a small bookshelf next to the bed, there was a guitar off in a corner as well
"Wow" Hiccup said as he looked around. Toothless just smiled as he poured some what looks like coffee into a cup
"So what brings you here Hiccup?" He asked leaning against the wooden table in the center. Hiccup sat down and told him his story
"Ah the 'My father hates me story' you've told so much" Toothless joked much to Hiccup's annoyance.
"I'm serious Toothless! What am I going to do?" He said thumping his head against the wood. Toothless walked over to another table set aside and placed his mug of coffee there
"You have to tell your dad the truth Hiccup, before he learns it from someone else" he advised patting Hiccup on the shoulder but Hiccup still wasn't happy
"I know what, you want to train with me? It'll get you some muscles and I don't have to worry about some thug beating you up" he said making Hiccup look up
"Sure, it could get my mind off things I suppose" Hiccup shrugged as he walked out with Toothless
0000000
It was Monday and Hiccup was starting to have muscles but it wasn't that noticeable. It was lunch time and honestly he didn't feel like eating so of course Hiccup went to the music room which was empty. He sat on one of the couches the school just placed and strummed
Who knows how long I've been awake now
The shadows on my wall don't sleep
They keep calling me, beckoning
Who knows what's right
The lines keep getting thinner
My age has never made me wise
But I keep pushing on, and on, and on and on
There's nothing left to say now
There's nothing left to say now
I'm giving up, giving up
Hey hey giving up now
Giving up, giving up
Hey hey, giving up now
Below my soul, I feel an engine
Collapsing as it sees the pain
If I could only shut it out
I've come too far to see the end now
Even if my way is wrong
But I keep pushing on and on and on and on
There's nothing left to say now
There's nothing left to say now
I'm giving up, giving up
Hey hey giving up now
Giving up, giving up
Hey hey, giving up now
Keep falling, I keep falling down
Keep falling, I keep falling down
If you could only save me
Keep falling, I keep falling down
Keep falling, I keep falling down
If you could only save me
I'm drowning in the waters of your soul
There's nothing left to say now
There's nothing left to say now
I'm giving up, giving up
Hey hey giving up now
Giving up, giving up
Hey hey, giving up now
He strummed one last time before setting the guitar down and heading out the door, little did he know a certain spikey brown haired boy was currently hiding in a corner hyperventilating
"H-Hiccup is Night Fury?" Snotlout gasped as he replayed the events he just witnessed, but a smirk soon graced his face as he thought of an evil plan to get rid of his cousin once and for all
