14- Blood
It was midnight. The entire citizen of Jump City drift to sleep, the janitor who works for S.T.A.R Labs was cleaning the rooms. The Janitor was almost finish with his work so he could go back to his lace and relaxes until he saw a hot-looking blonde walking towards him.
"Hey." said the woman.
"Hey." replied the Janitor.
"I like your hat." said the woman. The Janitor blushed, he always like his NY Cap.
"Thank you." said the Janitor.
The woman was looking around the room they are in and saw spilled coffee on the floor; she put her foot next to it so she could fall.
"Ow!" screamed the woman. The Janitor run to the woman, she already got her planned done until he helps her because all gentlemen have to do that.
"Are you alright?" asked the Janitor. The Janitor pulled the woman up from her 'fall'.
"Thank you." said the woman with a smile.
"No problemo." said the Janitor with a smile.
"I suppose I could offer you something?" the woman cooed. The Janitor knows what he's thinking and the woman knows what he's thinking either.
"How about a sweet kiss, mama." The Janitor flirted.
"How about we pass the kissing so we would have a little bit more fun." the woman flirted back. The Janitor lifted up the woman and she wrapped her shapely legs around the janitor's body and both were closing their eyes and kissing in a fiery passion until he appeared in a dark room, it shows text saying 'Blood' and demonic symbols which is covered in blood.
"Where am I!?" questioned the Janitor in fear. The Lights turned on and it reveals to be a tall man wearing an animal skull as a helmet, a cape and body wear. The Woman stepped back and waiting for her leader.
"Welcome to the Church of Blood." said the announcer.
"Church of what?" asked The Janitor.
"The Church of Blood, a place to get rid of all your trouble and to be virtue." said the announcer. The Announcer shows a cocky smile and moving his arms like he thinks in an orchestra.
"Who are you!?" questioned The Janitor in fear. He was shaking like a pot of jelly and he wishes he was at home watching adult films.
"I'm the great Brother Blood, and you will be saved if you willing to serve me as my Bloodinaries." said Brother Blood. 'Bloodinaires' are Brother Blood's followers, he rather call them Bloodinaries than followers cause he knows that they belong to him and all of the bloodinaries have red-colored eyes which resembles blood.
"What If I don't want to be your Legionnaire or Bloodinaire whatever you call it?" retorted The Janitor. Blood went from happy to tranquil anger.
"Then you will forever bound to your sins" reply Blood. Brother Blood uses magic to cut The Janitor's skin and touch his blood and use his blood as a cloud to shows visual scenes of the Janitor showing him beating up his ex-wife and scaring his son and daughter, then the next scene shows him stealing flowers from an old woman from the cemetery for his new girlfriend and then he beats up his girlfriend for getting the wrong TV that he wanted.
The Janitor has tears in his eyes, he has always been trying to redeem himself but the memories are still there inside. "I could save you Aubrey, if you give in to Trigonism." Blood offered.
"Yes, I would if it means to get rid of my sins and have my soul not tainted." Aubrey accepts. Aubrey was on his knees saying that he really wanted to become a new man.
"Well I, Brother Blood, would grant Brother Aubrey to become the newest member of The Church of Blood and devoted to Trigonism!" Blood announced. The other brothers and sisters wearing black hoodies with a picture showing Blood at the back of their hoodies cheered and the four mysterious individual wearing red robe similar to the Dark sorceress of The Titan clapped in approval.
Brother Blood touches the cut from his skin and uses his magic to convert him to Trigonism. Aubrey skin turned pale for a second and his veins turns deep red that you can see like the veins are popping out until it returns to his normal Caucasian hue. Brother Blood gave Aubrey a hoodie so he could become a loyal 'servant' of Brother Blood and his teacher/god.
One Day Later.
It was 4pm.
Kid Flash and Cyborg were going to the All-You-Can-Eat Buffett, they were prepare to eat everything from the menu and get their money's worth.
"You ready for this tin-man?" asked KF.
"You bet, Sonic." replied Cyborg.
The two superpowered team went to the restaurant; the civilians were pleased and shocked to see the two young heroes of The Teen Titans. A Boy with a wooden left hand wants an autograph from Cyborg and a girl on a paraplegic chair wants an autograph from Kid Flash, the two heroes gladly write their names down so the kids could remember to their future children about how they first met 2/7 or 2/6 of the titans.
The rest of the titans are in the tower doing their own stuff, Robin was in his room doing his own business by researching and updating files, Raven is meditating in her room to focus her powers, BB was originally suppose to go with the two boys to the buffet but it's all meat so he stay in the common room reading manga books, Donna and Starfire were lifting heavy objects to see who is stronger, the victor goes to Starfire.
"Wow, Star you have the total strength of five Amazonians." comment Wonder Girl. The Amazonian was surprised of the inhuman-level strength of the alien princess.
"Thank you Friend Wonder Girl." Starfire happily replied.
"I wonder how did you get that strong?" Donna asked.
"We Tamaranians are a warrior race that trains physically and strategically but also peaceful as well." Star answered.
"Just like the Amazons from Themysicra." Donna replied.
"Indeed, I heard that the Amazonians are a mighty race that face foes of mysterious origins." said Starfire.
"Yep, there are sometimes mystical threats of we Amazonians have to be prepared for battle." said Donna.
Donna and Starfire went to their next course of would be a sparring match. Donna shows a quick smile cause she learned tactics from the great Wonder Woman herself.
Raven was meditating quietly. She sees vision and all she could see is the color red and blood, she sees a shadowy man with a helmet commanding a group of armies and there is a malevolent spirit standing next to the shadowy man.
Raven stopped meditating she sense something wrong and she didn't know why her senses interrupted her daily meditation schedule, cause it's been happening twice.
"I wonder what that vision means, there was red and blood, no the titans are not going to die." said Raven in a frantic manner which causes her pillows to fly because of her emotion-destructive power.
Raven stopped meditating but she knows that if she didn't meditate that much then either her powers sometimes messed up and starts to behave as a TV trying to show the display screen or worse have it been used against her will.
"If only the buffet shop do vegetarian meals, then I don't need to be stuck in this tower." BB sighed.
Beast Boy was reading his manga book, The book he was reading was inspired by 'Beauty and The Beast' The main character named Adam Green a semi-arrogant rich boy goes through a change of metamorphosis into a superhumanly strong and fast animalistic beast with extraordinary levels of the five senses and instincts but instead of like most 'Beastlings' he use his powers to stops corrupted businessmen, crime lords and tyrants, he was fighting a character named 'Richard Gatson' an egotistical and ruthless mercenary who captures and eradicates his kind with nothing but sheer skills with the addition of advanced technologies, both Adam and Gatson loves Belle, a beautiful ivory-skinned girl who loves books and read a lot of info on Beastlings, she's been fond of finding the mysterious vigilante known as 'The Beast'.
"Great Book, might review it pretty soon." Although none of the titans notice not even The Empath, BB reviews a lot of Comic Books and Manga online. He realize that had Raven been into Manga then they would be best friends with their relationship with Manga, If only the Green Titan know that the Dark Empath read a quite of few manga books lately like Blue Exorcist, Attack on Titan, Bleach and other supernatural mangas as well as psychological-based and science-fic ones as well.
Robin was in his room, updating files on Villains section, Items sections for description of how the object could do like Xenothium and Mumbo's wand and hat, Cities section to know a lot of sister cities of San Fransisco other than Jump City in case villain decide to go to new cities and Countermeasures section, where Robin clicked and shows six folders all in different colors in the screen: one is Blue, Orange, Yellow, Green, Purple and Black. A Folder which is a darkish grey with a red X is a folder containing the description of the Red X suit, he decide not to use the Red X suit incase in desperate precautions.
He clicked on the green folder, it has an individual's biographical data which shows his real name, age, height and weight, the second column shows his list of powers that the individual has and a third columns has two rows 'Strengths' and 'Weakness' and the other last two columns was 'the threat level' of it could be to the city and team, 'Strategic Contingency' to perform a stratagem to neutralize him and 'Containment' to trap him and make sure he doesn't get access to his powers or escape in his specialized cell.
A loud knock interrupted The Boy Wonder.
"Friend Robin are you the ok?" asked Starfire. The Tamaranean was worrying about The Beast Incident last week of the month.
"Yes, Star I'm fine." lied Robin. Robin went to the save button to update his file and as well as his other files on 'Villain's as well.
Kid Flash and Cyborg was inside the restaurant, are they are in their seats in fact they got the best seats because they were famous local heroes. Kid Flash and Cyborg got their plates and picked out many meat as possible, Cyborg took out a lot of meat and went back to his table he was rubbing his metal hands and proceed to gobble it all u p he was looking at Kid Flash eating as well. "Wanna have a race?' said Kid Flash with a smile.
"No, I'm good." said the Cyborg. Carrying on eating his food until he heard a scream outside, he uses his cybernetic eye to see what is going on and he saw a woman running from gangs wearing hoods.
"Yo Kid, there's trouble." said Cyborg.
"Damn, I was about to eat the triple burger supreme." KF moaned. He put his plate and joins Cyborg to fight of the gang.
The Civilians inside the restaurant cheered the two heroes in order to keep their beloved city safe. Kid Flash run through the door and Cyborg just opened the door to fight the 'Bloodhood' cult group of Brother Blood.
"Hey, isn't that very rude to pick on civilians?" joked KF. The Bloodhood member was going to aim a punch at the metahuman but he dodges countering it with a hit of his own to subdue the member.
The other bloodhood members were holding on the half-metal Titan but Cyborg throw them off. "You guys don't even try." he states, one of the hooded members growled and that is something that Cyborg didn't hear from a local bad guy.
"Yo Kid, I got seven on me need to use a little help there." said Cyborg. Kid Flash has already defeated five members then went on to help Cyborg. Kid Flash cleared the bloodhood out and he saw one of them slowly coming to get back up, the speedster run to him and saw his eyes coloured differently he opened his hood, he was shocked that his eyes are covered in blood.
"All will worship Blood, Brother Blood will save you all." said the blood-coloured eye bad guy.
"Yo Cy, come check this." said Kid Flash. Cyborg came and saw a hooded man with red-coloured eyes moving wildly and Cyborg check his arm and see there is something wrong with that man, it reads exotic energy around that man and the led screen shows the man's physiology and it appears he energy is coming through the brain.
"We need to take him to the infirmary, he doesn't look well my scan shows that's he been brainwashed." Cyborg states. Cyborgs takes out an item from his chest compartment, it was a mini disc where he attached it on the brainwashed member of the cult gang and envelop a blue aura around him where his body was still but he was still chanting about 'Blood' of saying how he could save you and all that. Cyborg and KF were inside the T-Car, Cyborg pressed a button where it switched on to hover mode and the four wheels turn 90 degrees and use as hovers to fly to Titans Tower.
KF and Cyborg are inside the Infirmary, the possessed man of The Bloodhood was moving frantically keep talking about 'Blood' and 'How he could save your sins'. The Titans think he's crazy but at least it's fine for them when he wants this 'Blood' person to free people's sin.
"What happened to him?" asked Robin.
"Kid Flash and I were in the all-you-can-eat buffet then suddenly a group of hooded men and women were attacking a civilian then the police. So we step outside to stop them." replied Cyborg.
"I wonder why he keep chanting 'Blood'?" said Robin. "Is he Hematopoietic?" Robin speculated.
"Maybe." said Kid Flash in an unsure manner.
"There was an exotic energy flowing around his body when I was checking on my database, I think that's why he went a little nutty." replied Cyborg.
Robin was putting on his thinking 'cap', Cyborg said it was exotic which means it is unnatural and foreign his mind is on the right path on what energy is controlling him it was foreign and not from this world then it is magic.
"It's magic." said Raven in a stern voice.
"Magic!?" questioned Kid Flash, The speedster and as well as Cyborg are the only two of the group that is dedicated to science.
"Yes, Magic can be unpredictable and it can probably be used in many ways." Raven explained in detail. "I could use my powers to see what's wrong with him?" said the dark titan.
"Good Idea." affirmed Robin.
Raven eyes glowed an eerie white she is using her magic to see what is controlling the frantic man, there was a flow of blood around his brain it was swirling and glowing at the same time. Raven analyzed what type of magic is this and to see what type of method he's using to control the man, she use her intellect to research the flowing magical red fluid then founded out it was blood magic that the culprit was using to manipulate the poor civilian she tap more of her magic to find out that the civilian was neither possessed, mind control nor hypnotized he was influenced.
"He's using a special type of Magic which is very dangerous we need to stop whoever is influencing those people." stated The Empath.
"Can you tell me what special type magic, hocus pocus, thingy it was using?" asked Beast Boy, who fully don't understanding the concept of Magic except for children tricks.
"It was blood magic, It's an ancient version that predates word-based magic and was considered by some to be more powerful. Blood Magic was a kind of magic based on the employment of blood which is an important component in many rituals, spells and other aspects of the supernatural world." Raven detailed. The Titans shows different facial expression of what Raven said to them, Starfire and Beast Boy showed a shiver response and didn't like it mention 'blood', Cyborg and Kid Flash shows a shocked expression due to them not understanding magic which is the opposite of their main field Science, Wonder Girl and Robin shows a worried expression because this blood practitioner is using a deadly spell to make civilians be influence by him.
"This sounds very bad and frightening." said the alien. Starfire didn't like blood she remembers where there amount of blood between a war with her species and another alien race who were trying to invade their planet, they won but it cost numerous amount of soldiers.
"The Guy in the bed right now he will be fine. I cured him while searching the magical energy that was influencing him." said Raven.
"Wow, you cured him that was amazing I though you could only heal wounds." said Donna.
"My healing powers allows me to heal physically, mentally, spiritual and emotional damage." Raven stated in detail.
"Looks like we got ourselves the team medic." Beast Boy comments as he compares Raven to the medic team of the Team Fortress games that the changeling loves to play and watch Youtube videos of the characters in the game.
Raven was in her room reading The Book of Azar to find more about Blood Magic, this spell employ originally taught to mortals by demons, in order to access more powerful magic. They must be willing to sacrifice their own life force or that of others in order to wield this power.
While Raven was reading The Book of Azar, she got a glimpse of a scene through her eyes when she saw a man wearing a giant skull as a 'crown', he was in a dark room where their were packets of blood, he was drinking it like a vampire and lick his finger of how blood taste so sweet to him. The scene was gone and Raven was back in her room what horrifying images she saw.
"Dear Azar, he must of sacrifice a lot of innocents and some guilty ones just for power!?" said Raven. She can't get those scenes from her mind it is more worse than their movie night.
Raven got to tell them of what they are about to meet is a very dangerous individual. Raven did previously telepathically scanned the mad patient in the infirmary lab where she found the energy-flow substance around his brain as he was put under influence but fortunately he still has his blood, this 'Blood' person is not taking any of his followers' blood that much it's either that he working for somebody else or wants attention.
A Knock interrupted the empath's thinking. "Who is it?" asked Raven in a dull voice.
"It's Robin. Are you ready Raven?" said Robin.
Raven took two seconds to answer. "Yes." answered Raven.
"Ok, so any ideas where this 'Blood' guy's hideout is?"asked Robin.
"Last time I checked from the patient's memory he was in S.T.A.R Labs until he was captured in a church." finished Raven.
"So, is he some kind of priest?" said Robin, The Boy wonder was guessing if this Villain is a priest.
"No, but he thinks he is a priest by calling everyone his brothers and sisters like a black preacher who thinks he's an answer of God." replied Raven. Robin giggled when she called the villain more of a preacher than a priest.
"Thanks, Raven." Robin thanked.
Raven didn't reply cause she has to tell him about the memory scene she saw of the priest. "Robin." said Raven slowly.
"Yes, Raven?" replied The Boy Wonder.
"After I scanned his mind I seen bad scenes from this blood person he harvest blood and put them in packets to keep them warm and drank it." said Raven.
Robin didn't like the sound of that he hates villains who act like ruthless animals who only cared about money, power and blood from their enemies. "He sounds very evil, we must be prepared to take Blood down." affirmed Robin.
"Is their a way to stop or counter Blood with his magic?" Robin hopefully asked.
"No, but I'm reading a book to find a way to counteract his magic and I only got some details of 'Blood Magic'." Raven replied.
"Ok, we would be leaving in 10 minutes I'm asking everyone to wear protective clothing so he wouldn't take our life force." said Robin.
"It said on The Book of Azar that absorbing blood is by touching an individual's blood or your own, so I suggest protective clothing is wide to face the preacher also his life force power is tactile not mental so we have to hit him hard and fast." stated Raven.
All of The Titans are wearing protective clothing to avoid getting their blood touched by the priest. Also Robin was told by Raven is that most of the church interior are dark so stealth costume would be helpful. Robin was wearing a modified dense EVS Kevlar motorcycle suit that is used for combating superhuman with meta-level strength and the armour is durable against energies, although the Titans didn't know but it is one of the early prototype suit of Red X but there is no room to add functions. Raven emits a magical aura around her body which grants her near-invulnerability. Starfire was not wearing anything due to her pride being a warrior and as well as Wonder Girl, Cyborg's armour was not meant for stealth due to his big athletic size frame and his cannon able to emit bright blue energies where it wouldn't be good for stealth, Kid Flash pressed the middle of his chest and his already armoured suit turned black instead of red and yellow he never tried out the black suit since his pre-titan days with Robin, Donna, Aqualad and Speedy then lastly is Beast Boy who was wearing his usual purple and black attire.
"Yo, BB where's your armour or stealth costume?" Cyborg bellowed.
"Uh..Don't have any." said BB with a nervous smile.
"Any shown of invulnerability?" said Cyborg.
"Sorry, i'm not like Superman" relied BB.
"I will make you one." said Cyborg but his arm was caught by the armoured hand of Robin.
"There's no time for that we need to get going Cyborg." Robin said in a leader manner.
"Sorry B, next time." said Cyborg. BB hates it when Robin stopped Cyborg of making a special suit for BB but they didn't have enough time cause they need to find Blood.
"It's alright Cy, I could use my shapeshifting powers for stealth." said Beast Boy morphing into small creatures such as a monkey, spider and snake. "They won't see it coming."
"Raven, do you know where Blood now?" asked Robin to the dark empathy.
Raven teleported from the central room she tapped into the patient's mind to scan the energy that has belongs to and search the owner's aura and it trace to a hospital she found Blood and comes back three seconds later. "He's in the George Pérez Hospital." said Raven in her usual tone.
Robin knows that it is not good because a lot of blood packets are in hospitals, blood where he could feed on to grow stronger and better. "Titans, we need to move." said Robin with his battle-steady expression.
Brother Blood was disguised as a doctor inside a room full of children their bloods are inside transparent packets. Brother Blood was licking his lips to see the color and shape of blood its like a drug to him to be addicted with the iron smell flowing around the fresh red liquid metallic substance that comes from the human body.
"Ooh, this is great with the amount of fresh blood in the room." delighted Blood. He was rubbing his hands and licking his lips again like a mad man until a dark portal appeared and revealed to be seven young individuals, The Teen Titans.
"That will be enough sucking, Blood." said Robin raising his cane at the villain.
"*snickered* sucking." laughed BB. The Rest of The Titans didn't laugh because this is a serious matter.
"No, Boy Wonder I will do plenty of sucking—" Blood was interrupted by the green titan's laughter until he was lightly smacked by The Amazonian.
"Ok, I will stop." BB promised. In his head he was hysterically laughing unfortunately for Raven she could sense his glee through emotions.
"Friend Cyborg, what is the 'sucking'?' asked Star. Her being an alien don't frequently understand Earth customs and slang.
"Um, It means…Losing..Yes, Losing" answered Cyborg.
"Well good, then Blood must of the suck very good." smiled Star while cracking her hand preparing to fight.
"Enough!" shouted Blood. His hand emits a red energy and releases a red-colored fire at The Titans but the dark titan shielded them with her dark energy, he finally found the one he's been looking for.
"You" said Brother Blood mentally. Blood use his magic to release blood from his hands and crystalize it as a sharp tendrils using it as a weapon to fight The Titans also he teleport them into a The Church of Blood, his domain where he will get the better advantage in a 7-on-1 fight.
"Come at me." Blood told in an arrogant tone of voice. The Titans charged at him but the blood practitioner dodged their attacks with his unnatural agility and countered it by using his blood as melee attacks to hit most of the members of the titans.
"We will stop you Blood!" shouted Wonder Girl. The Girl flew to the villain but caught her with his hand and thrown her at Starfire who was also flying.
Blood laughed of how he took the two powerhouses out for a while then a bird-a-rang exploded which sends Blood to the wall. Blood was angry so he called his followers to join his battle so it is now 20 on 7.
Robin and The titans know that they can't fight the followers of Blood because he influenced them so they need to trap them. "Hey Cyborg, do you think you got a plan to trap them?" called Robin.
"As a matter of fact I do, Birdboy." said Cyborg. he open his chest compartment and grabbed some discs where her throw it at Blood's followers incapacitated them. Blood saw this and bring more followers in he called his red-clothed monks to harness their power to him to gain strength.
Blood was fighting KF and Robin. Robin was using his martial arts to land a strike to Blood but Blood dodged it and use his hemaptokinetic abilities to shape his blood as a rope and crystalizing his rope to make it hard for The Boy Wonder to escape.
He is now fighting the speedster known as Kid Flash, Blood was fast but Kid was faster with his speed-based abilities. Blood again called his monks for more power and red energy swirling around his body like an aura he punch the ground to make a small earthquake which vibrated that cause KF off balance. Blood approach to the grounded speedster he use his abnormal strength to rip out parts of his armor and use a dagger to stab his arm with a demonic-looking dagger which is able to paralyze anyone, the meta-human's blood was dripping that allows Blood to drink it, his eyes turned red with a yellow electric symbol surfaces through his eye which he felt power.
Cyborg prepared to blast Blood but he disappeared out of nowhere, the half-robot don't know where the vampire is but he was standing right behind him in quick fashion. "How did you get over here?!" surprised Cyborg.
"Oh, you don't know? Well I have the ability to not only drain people's blood for their life force but also their powers." smirked Blood. He punches Cyborg in a fast rate that not even the partially-cybernetically enhanced human could evade.
"It seems you don't have any powers I could smell it in your blood, but their isn't barely enough of it because of your cybernetics, you're just technology which is not a special gift or any blood. At least I could make you follow the path of Trigonism." said Blood to a vulnerable Cyborg.
Blood use his mental power that he learned all over the years through gaining blood from various victims to mind control the robotic titan. Cyborg eyes briefly turned red but it went back to his normal brown-colored eyes. "What!?" shouted Blood in surprised.
"How comes my mental powers don't work on you?" demand Blood.
"Must be my unbreakable spirit!" countered Cyborg. He head-butted the blood-based villain. Now his nose is bleeding which made Blood crazy for his own blood like he is the Joker who is obsessed with blood.
"Man, you're crazy." said Beast Boy.
"My minions, go attack those annoying brats!" Blood demanded. Hoards of followers came out and starts attacking for Blood, then Cyborg morphed his cannon as a hook to capture Blood but the villain caught it and throws Cyborg to a wall.
Blood was fighting now Wonder Girl, she was using her Amazonian strength to have an advantage over Blood but she didn't know that Blood's newly acquired superhuman speed caught her in a headlock. Wonder Girl throw Blood off from her but Blood luckily landed on his feet like an Olympic gymnast, his blood powers gave him enhanced physical capacities but not at superhuman/meta level compared to Cyborg, Starfire and Wonder Girl.
"Is that all you got?" said Blood with an evil smirk.
Wonder Girl shows her warrior-personality as she flew fast like a jet but Blood got her what he wanted as he use his psychic power that he got from acquiring blood from magical psychics to caught her and Donna felt like she was stuck in the air unable to move. Blood picked a sharp pick from his pockets as he pressed it to the Amazonian flesh then drink tiny amounts of her blood, his muscles grow a bit bigger as he gain super strength but not comparable that of an Amazonian as he needs more blood from her but he didn't have enough time because of The Titans. He backhanded Donna hard with his combined natural enhanced strength and obtained Amazonian strength that sends her unconscious leaving a large bruise to her cheek.
Blood knows that this Robin person is human cause he remember a man wearing a bat costume who once appeared in The Church of Blood on a mission to stop the ageless, Ra's Al Ghul and he was a priest in the church of Blood. He looked at Starfire but she is an alien plus her invulnerability is much more stronger than the young Amazonian and she up in the air fighting his followers on the first floor. Then he saw Beast Boy morphing into various animals; he thinks his powers are attention grabbing so he tap his speed to run to the green titan.
"Your power are fascinating Changeling." said Blood.
"Thanks, and you got a lame power." Beast Boy mocked, he loves mocking egoistical maniacs.
"Fool, Blood Magic is one of the most powerful forms of all arcanes, would you mind me taking some of your blood?" Blood said sarcastically as he bit viciously onto BB's neck hard leaving two big gaps.
"Beast Boy!" shouted Starfire. She flew at the blood monster but he changed into a hybrid of a bear and human and punched her sending her to the floor, the Tamaranian got up again employing her solar-based abilities at the manbear, Blood sense a tingle through his mind he changed into a combination of a snake gaining the ability of flexibility and poison, he use his snake-like teeth to release toxin to the alien's physiology but it wasn't enough as the alien kept on going. She punched Blood that sends him on the floor but he quickly changed into a human spider where he shot webs at her then a human black mamba to give her a huge bite on her leg that paralyzed her body as she is unable to move and felt groggy from the poison.
"You're a great warrior, but you kind of lack strategy." said Blood looking at the inactivated alien struggling to move.
"STARFIRE!" shouted Robin. Blood clicked his fingers and send more of his followers, he didn't have time to fight a weak human like Robin cause he think it's a waste of time.
"There is something about this Beast Boy's blood, all I see is a Red place." said Blood licking his fingers from BB's blood.
Blood saw BB on the ground feeling numb, Kid Flash soothing his damaged arm, Donna on the floor lying unconscious, Starfire feeling groggy while the other two male titans were fighting his followers then he eyed on a blue-cloaked sorceress, Raven. He has his eye on Raven for some quite time now. Blood walked to the battle he pushed one of his followers casually and was taken on Raven.
"Blood, come her and fight me!" demanded Robin but the followers crowded him which left him on his own to fight them.
"Hello there, little girl." said Blood in a chilled voice.
"You will not hurt people souls any longer villain." said Raven in her usual tone. She conjured her magic to create telekinetic waves at the Blood but yet again dodge it with his speed and tackle the empath to the ground.
"Your powers are formidable, yet it is not a surprised that you're a half—" A loud electric surge around Raven body which zapped the villain.
"Holy hell, no wonder you're the daughter of a—" he was interrupted again with another black electricity.
Blood needs to escape from the dark titan. Blood thinks that the dark titan didn't know that how powerful she is and he wanted to rule the world together with her and they could be the most unstoppable power couple in the world.
"Where are you, show yourself coward!" demand Raven in her usual tone with a tint of anger.
Blood knows some information on Raven due to his teacher so he utilizes a plan to catch her from surprise. Blood demonstrates an emotionless expression and closed his mind as he sneaks up to the dark titan then wrapped her up with his blood then create a small circular red portal that looks like the color of blood to enter to the other side of the room where her other titans were fighting.
Raven muffled hard, she could taste the metallic blood, it taste and smell nasty as if she wants to throw up. "We could rule the world together with your power and my sheer leadership were going to create a new hellish paradise for our loyal followers and your fath—" Blood was interrupted again by Raven where she channeled her TK to create black energy constructs at the villain.
Raven was a little bit tired using her powers she never got a chance to meditate because of her research of Blood Magic. She could sense her powers slowly fading and could see Blood slowly getting up.
Blood was livid so he use siphon his powers through his monks and a demonic red aura flow around him but it stopped, as he can't sense his monks no more. He use his psychic power to detect what's wrong and why isn't he getting anymore power, he saw all his four monks incapacitated.
"Why hello there, gov'ner." said a British voice.
"Huh" said Blood. A Symbol which glowed in a lilac color emitted where Blood standing, he was going to attack the mysterious figure but he can't as he is trapped, it was an entrapment spell that could contain any blood-based users.
"Who are you!?" demanded Blood.
"John Constantine, you blimey bastard" replied Constantine in a british voice.
"John Constantine!?" Raven was surprised but kept her voice low because of her emotion-driven powers.
"That's right love." said the detective and JCPD commisioner.
"I remember you." shouted Blood. Blood remembers who the brown-leather coat man really is and is a force to be reckoned with among other villainous supernaturals.
"I'm sure you do." replied Constantine.
"Let me out this instance." shouted Blood.
"I'm afraid I can't let you do that, oh and by the way this spell can inhibit your blood magic so all of those innocent bastards you took will be revert to normal, lad." said Constantine with a smirk.
"NOOOO!" shouted Blood with a boiling rage.
John Constantine clicked his finger and fire emitted through the symbol and it wasn't any normal fire because Raven knew what kind of fire it is, Hellfire the mystical flames of hell. Blood was gone, both Raven and Constantine know where Blood headed when the Hellfire send him.
"At least he won't bother you now." said Constantine turning to the Empath.
"Thank you." Raven was grateful with the save.
Constantine smiled then his smile changed into a serious expression. "You know what's going to happened next do you?" said the JCU commissioner.
"I do." replied Raven in a sad tone.
"There is a prophecy that the Archdemon of the eighth pit would come to the mortal plane, Raven you could save us all." said Constantine.
"I don't think I can." replied Raven.
"Sure you do luv, you got six friends who got ya read it in the prophecy." said Constantine.
"Wait, you know that my friends will be at my side to fight my…" Raven said but was unable to say the last word.
"Well, if they are strong enough to face Blood, I'm sure they could stand up to that big red four-eyed prick." replied The blonde-haired man.
"I don't know if we are able to defeat him, he's one of the most powerful archdemons in the universe." stated Raven.
Constantine put his hand on Raven's shoulder then his body nearly vanished "All you need is Hope, Raven." said Constantine in a ghostly voice as he disappeared from the scenery.
Robin came inside the room and saw Raven but no Blood. "Raven. Do you know where Blood is?" asked Robin.
"He escaped, the monks were all defeated." said Raven. Robin remembered the monks lying on the floor he didn't know how they were defeated cause he was too busy fighting.
"Nice job Raven, Blood seems a potentially dangerous enemy." stated Robin. Robin didn't know how dangerous the blood-based villain really is and who he's associating with. He's on a level maybe next to Deathstroke and Queen Bee.
"The followers would return to their normal state cause Blood flee because of the amount of loss of his power." Raven partially lied.
"Ok." replied The Boy Wonder.
"We got to get to the others." affirmed Robin.
"Yes, we should." replied Raven.
The two birds are in the other side of the room; Cyborg was the only one standing where there were many sedated followers, Wonder Girl just got up and was rubbing her cheek from her encounter with Blood, Starfire now recovered from the poison, Kid Flash's arm felt swore now due to his advanced healing factor and Beast Boy felt a little bit groggy but Cyborg got him so he could stand properly.
Robin seeing his teammates hurt illustrates how he let his team down, he could of protect them all but there were so many and plus he couldn't hurt the followers cause they were innocent people trapped by the forces of a madman.
"Did we won this battle?" said WG.
"Yes, we did." replied Robin.
"Whoever Blood is he's dangerous and good thing Raven was able to stop him." said Robin.
"Good job Ra-v-en" stammered Beast Boy, still not recover from the effects of Blood's sharp teeth that dig onto his blood. Robin notices how BB, Donna and Starfire weren't wearing armor like he and KF has but his armor wasn't torn from Blood so he was lucky that he didn't come for him. He could of loss three members without wearing protection but at least they would be fine for now.
The Titans walked out from the Church and they were not in Jump City but in a small island nation in the Baltic Sea, they were in Eastern Europe.
"Yo Rae, can you send us home?" asked Cyborg.
"Yes and No, I could send us back to Jump City but with the six of you here would most likely transported into other cities like New York, plus I'm drained from fighting Blood" stated Raven.
"Aw man, how do we get back home?" said Kid Flash
Robin was on his communicator dialing a number to get a call from a close friend. "Master Bruce's residence how may I help you?" said a familiar voice.
"Hey Alfred it's me." whispered Robin.
"Oh Master Dick, how very nice to see I see your doing fine with your new friends." replied Alfred.
"Yep, we need a ride to get back home would you mind asking Bruce's money to hire a ship?" asked Robin.
"Don't worry Dick, I'll take care of it." Alfred told him.
"Thanks" said Robin turning off his T-Communicator. "Don't worry they will be picking us up soon."
"Soon?" asked Raven, the empath doesn't like waiting too long cause she is in the last chapter of her book.
The Titans were waiting for ten minutes then there ship came from the ocean, it was a small but very good-looking cruise ship. Robin thanked god that the label 'Wayne Enterprise' is at the back of the ship so the others didn't know who he is except for Donna and Wally cause he's not sure telling his identity to the others.
All of The Titans got inside the ship, there was a nice small kitchen and Cyborg opened the fridge he sports a glee smile when he saw all the meat. "What, no tofu." said Beast Boy.
"Nobody eats Tofu, it's disgusting." countered Cyborg.
"Eating animals is cannibalism!" BB protested
"But it's so good." said Cyborg. The half-robot smells something very lovely and it was a huge bucket of KFC.
"Yo, guys come here we got Kentucky Fried Chicken and three coca-colas!" shouted Cyborg. All of The Titans shows hungry expression and went inside the front room.
"Let's dig in." said Kid Flash. Kid Flash was about to get his hand on the chicken breast but Cyborg growled and so did Kid Flash they both growled like animals.
"Animals." Beast Boy muttered.
"Takes one to know one," said Raven in her usual tone. Beast Boy shows a slight pissed expression and Raven mentally smirked.
Everyone was enjoying their chicken, chips and drinks as well as the deserts, which is not from KFC but from one of the best shops in Europe. Except for the green titan who didn't eat his chicken sat all so he gave it to Cyborg, Kid Flash and Starfire who all happily ate it so he has left was the chips and a glass of coke cause they don't have any deserts which is non-dairy. Raven was enjoying her desert, which is two waffles covered in Belgian sauce and a small bowl of ice cream that she eat it more faster than Starfire and Kid Flash.
"Wow Raven you really like waffles." smiled Cyborg.
"More than life itself." replied Raven in her usual tone.
