Snake knelt to feel for a pulse of the Agent who lay at their feet, a bullet in his head; giving a shake of the head to Wolf he stood again.

Stag and Lion of D-unit had finished tying up one of the men they had found unconscious on scene.

E-Unit and J-unit had taken off to search the rest of the base.

But Wolf couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong.

...

One of the men wrenched Alex's arms behind his back and tied them with plastic zip ties.

The others had the same treatment except Ryan tried to fight back getting kicked in the back of the knee for his tries.

"Ryan" Alex snapped "calm down, they're SAS"

Each man held one of the teens and all looked to the one holding Alex when they heard the teen mention the SAS.

"How'd you know about the SAS, kid?"

"Our uncles [1] work in the SAS" Ryan informed with a scowl.

"Right" the man holding Ryan snorted "well I'm Bat, that's Rhino" he pointed to the one holding Skylar "that's Toad" he nodded to the one holding Carlos which left Alex with the last man "and Shark, our unit leader"

Rhino glared at Bat "and why did you tell them that?"

"They're just kids!" Bat huffed and Alex couldn't help but compare them to Eagle.

"Kid's who have blood over them and were found by four dead bodies" Toad pointed out looking to Skylar and Alex.

Skylar's eyes widened when she looked down to see there was blood specks over her jacket, her breathing picked up.

The SAS men didn't seem to notice the change "we're bringing you back to the others, try anything funny and we'll shoot, got it?" Shark asked.

"Got it" Carlos squeaked deathly pale.

"Let's move" Shark told the others walking past the dead bodies with Alex in front of him.

Alex bit his lip to stop from strangling the man.

Wolf had seen a lot of things in his time with the army then SAS but if there was one thing he didn't expect to see it was four teenagers he seen as nephews and nieces being lead into a room where a dead body lay and two of the teens to have blood on them.

So when Wolf seen E-unit enter he blinked...then blinked again as if he was in a dream.

"You are seeing the kids, right?" Lynx asked Wolf nervously "maybe I'm just missing them"

"Cub!" Eagle exclaimed a wide grin on his face "what are you doing here?" his grin fell when he noticed each teenager had their hands tied behind their backs.

Alex ignored the question his eye's setting on Wolf as the man tried to figure out what was going on.

"What the fuck are you four doing here?!" Wolf cried anger quickly rising.

Skylar shrunk back at the shout only to bump into Rhino's chest, her breath caught in her throat.

Snake put a hand on Wolf's shoulder trying to calm the man "Shark explain"

"We found them down the hallway, by four dead bodies" Shark looked at Snake blankly "we have orders to capture anyone we found"

Alex rolled his eyes at the reply and looked to his siblings.

Ryan didn't seem in any bother by the man holding him, actually he seem at ease around them.

Carlos was pale and his eyes were wide, Alex couldn't blame him.

But Skylar seem like she having trouble breathing and a sheet of sweat was forming on her forehead, thankfully she spoke up "L-Lynx?"

Lynx's eyes went straight to the girl and he cursed colorfully "Un-tie her now!" he ordered Rhino who did so quickly.

"Hey what about us?" Ryan whined glaring at Lynx with a pout.

K-unit ignored him looking on in worry as Skylar stumbled away and tried to get her breathing under control.

"Better?" Lynx asked once she had calmed down.

Skylar nodded slowly a blush creeping along her cheeks "better" she breathed.

"Good" Lynx stated before he grabbed her upper arm and stormed out of the building and to the lorry the units had arrived in.

Ryan and Carlos both chuckled "oh she is so dead" Carlos sang.

Both teens were quite when Wolf glared at them.

Alex turned to Wolf "any chance you can get these guys to un-tie us now Wolfman?"

Wolf narrowed his eyes but nodded to E-unit who began to untie them "You will all go to the lorry and get in before I kill you, understood?"

Ryan rubbed his wrists "understood" he grabbed both Alex and Carlos and they made their way outside.

Wolf growled under his breath as he ran a hand through his hair "the little shit told me he had rejected the mission" Snake sat a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.

"Em Wolf, who're they?" Stag questioned speaking for everyone.

Eagle chuckled strolling to the front of the group his gun hanging over his back "my dear, dear friends you have just got a glimpse of what we suffer through every week oh and your first glimpse of Uncle Wolfie" he smirked when Wolf narrowed his eyes "they're Fox's kids" he finished.

All the men raised their eyebrows "wasn't that Cub?" Bear pointed out.

"Yea, Fox adopted him" Eagle beamed skipping off and out of the building.

Alex rested his head against the back of the lorry as they made their way back to camp hell, trying to get his thoughts together and think up an excuse... that he probably couldn't give saying the others had showed up.

How did they even find me?

Alex shook his head in annoyance at getting caught.

SHIT!

"Shit, shit, shit, shit!" Alex growled curling his hands into fists.

The other men in the lorry stared but Snake scolded "language Cub!"

"Damn it!"

"Cub, what the hell is wrong!" Wolf shouted at him from where he sat opposite.

Alex face palmed "I forgot the bloody memory stick that Jones wanted" he muttered.

Wolf eyed him intensely before asking "what was on it?"

"I dunno" Alex breathed "something on this new organisation or something"

Snake and Lynx exchanged a look of dread.

"Well then" Skylar spoke up quietly "it's a good thing I happened to grab this" she held up a memory stick between her fingers "when I knocked that guy off you"

Alex let of a breath of relief.

"We'll be taking that" Lynx snatched it from Skylar's fingers ignoring her pout.

Alex felt no shame in admitting that right now standing at attention between K-unit and every other unit who had been on the assignment that he wanted to hide from the fuming sergeant that paced in front of him.

"At ease" the sergeant said looking them all over before his eyes rested on the four teens and he glared "report!" he barked.

Wolf and Shark stepped forward "five found dead on arrival, including a MI6 agent, another fled the scene and J-unit later lost them" Wolf began.

"E-unit apprehended four teens later identified by K-unit" Shark finished stepping back into line.

The sergeant growled "explain Wolf!"

"From what I have gathered Cub was on a mission and the other three decided to follow him" Wolf rattled off.

"What the hell were you doing at a crime scene Cub?!" The sergeant bellowed.

"MI6 sir!"

"For what?"

"Classified sir!"

The sergeant look as if he would kill Alex but instead he closed his eyes and counted back from ten before facing Ryan "does Fox know you're here?" he questioned.

Ryan rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly "em no sir"

The sergeant scowled before his eyes passed Skylar and he paused "Skylar" he assumed.

Skylar shifted keeping her head bowed "yes sir"

"Dismissed!" the sergeant took a seat behind his desk "K-unit and you four stay" he nodded to the four nervous teens.

Once all the units had left Carlos let his shoulders fall from their tense position "jeez those guys freak me out" he muttered before smirking at the sergeant "did you miss me Kev?"

Alex let his mouth hang open at the way Carlos spoke to the sergeant but his eyes widened when the sergeant made a small smirk "you are in trouble Carlos don't even try to talk your way out of it" he spoke to Wolf next "was the assignment completed?"

"Yes sir, we managed to obtain information on the new organisation" Wolf handed the man the memory stick the agent had given Alex.

Opening his mouth to complain that he in fact needed that stick if he wanted MI6 off his back for a while, he thought better of it and instead let out a tired sigh.

"The four of them will bunk with you tonight" The sergeant informed Wolf "phone Fox and let him know they're here, he can collect them in the morning" he gave an accusing glare to Ryan "I don't want you fighting with anybody Ryan and I mean it, if you do you'll be running the assault course more than once"

Ryan gave a sly grin his fiery brown eyes lighting up "got it sir!"

The man sighed muttering under his breath "Snake, keep them all out of trouble please" Snake gave a nod "Cub, you have some explaining to do but I don't have time now so all of you get out of here...it was nice to finally meet you Skylar" he nodded curtly to the girl.

The cold winter air and drizzle of rain hit k-unit and the four teens as they left the sergeants office in silence.

Alex shivered pulling his jacket around him tightly to keep in warmth falling back from the men a little so he was walking by Ryan "you followed me" he accused.

"You left" Ryan shot right back.

Alex shook his head raindrops dripping from his hair "how'd you even find me?" he ignored the accusing comment "you didn't shadow me"

Ryan shrugged with a little smirk "we may or may not have hacked and tracked your mobile"

Alex dropped the subject as they reached the hut and Snake ushered them in with a disapproving look on his face "you'll all need something else to wear" he mumbled kneeling down and pulling spare uniforms out from under his bed.

Ryan and Carlos sat on Eagle's bed leaving the man to sit by Lynx; Skylar hovered around the bed but didn't sit instead biting her lip in worry.

Alex shifted knowing the men were going to ask questions and he tried to mentally prepare himself for what was to come.

Wolf sat down on the bed and soon Alex and Skylar followed sitting by their brothers "wanna explain what's going on Cub?" Wolf's voice was oddly calm and Alex guessed it was taking the man a lot of effort not to lash out.

"You already know MI6 spoke to me the other day"

"They kidnapped us" Carlos butted in.

"Anyway" Alex gritted his teeth trying to keep calm "I may have agreed to help them on a recon mission, that's all it was meant to be, I didn't know the others would follow me and I defiantly didn't know that the SAS would become involved in any of this"

"So you lied to us?" Wolf clarified "you told us that MI6 had let you go" there was a tense atmosphere before Wolf spoke again "did you kill those other guys?"

Alex blanched but nodded stiffly, his face blank and emotionless "they would've killed us" he defended.

Skylar suddenly stood "I'm going for a walk, come on Car"

Carlos looked up in exasperation "but I wanna hear ahh" Skylar cut him off, grabbing his wrist and yanking him from the bed and stormed out, Carlos following behind her.

Eagle snorted "she's scary sometimes" he commented.

Alex assumed she had left before she could hear about any of his history and feel obliged to share a part of her life.

Stupid. I wouldn't do that a small voice in his head spoke up.

Yea, he was curious but he wouldn't force any of them to tell him their past.

"She's afraid of having another panic attack" Lynx told Alex when he seen his confused face.

Alex's eyebrows shot up "a panic attack?"

"Yea Cub" Snake gave him a disbelieving look "y'know like the one she nearly had back at the building complex?"

"Oh right" Alex scratched his nose in thought "got it"

Wolf cleared his voice "I told out the other day at the hospital that I wouldn't ask questions Cub but I think it's time we got some answers" he held up a hand when Alex tried to make a snarky remark "I don't care if you don't want to Cub"

Alex looked out the only window in the hut but didn't reply.

"You were in America before you came back over here, you told me that, why'd you come back if you didn't want anything to do with MI6?"

Tensing Alex stayed focussed on the window.

You don't have to tell them...but maybe I want to?

'It's not healthy to bottle things up kiddo'

"The Pleasures" Alex paused when he realised he had replied without thought "m-my step dad was shot when we were o-out and he...he was killed" he paused trying to stop the tears.

You don't have a right to cry and he didn't, Sabina was the one who had lost a father, Liz was the one who had lost a husband, he didn't have a right to cry over something that was never his.

"Sabina blamed me even though it was a random shooting, Liz tried to convince her it wasn't my fault but in the end I suppose I agreed with Sabina, we were only out because Edward wanted to cheer me up" Alex smiled a bit at the memory but it soon faded "Liz decided it was better if I came back to Britain and I readily agreed"

Snake who had stopped looking under his bed slowly asked "We, I mean K-unit think we already know but why are you involved with MI6?"

Alex glanced at Ryan briefly but decided it didn't matter anymore.

You'll hurt them all in the end

'It's your fault Alex!'

"I'm MI6's number one Agent, when I was fourteen my uncle died and I ended up finishing his mission, I've got a 100% success rate"

The hut was silent except for the rain battering the room and wind blowing outside "A-agent?" Ryan stuttered "b-but how, your underage, that isn't legal!" he was standing by the end pacing back and forth, brain on overdrive.

Alex shrugged "I gave up believing the world was fair a long time ago Ryan" he admitted.

"If you're an MI6 agent then why didn't they just keep you at the bank when you came back, why put you into care?" Wolf began to think of a scenario he didn't like but he needed Alex to clarify it.

"To show me what could happen I guess, if I didn't go on the mission"

"Blackmail" the whole of K-unit announced together, their faces serious and Wolf's suspicions were proven correct.

Ryan seemed like the only one not understanding "what are they blackmailing you with?"

Alex would've laughed at the teens idiocy but he supposed to Ryan MI6 were the good guys "I'm going for a shower" Alex answered instead.

...

"What are you guys doing?"

Steve snapped his laptop shut and spun round on his chair to face Ben "nothing" he squeaked.

Jay and Terry face palmed from where they stood by him.

Ben raised an eyebrow "Where are the others?"

"Well you see" Terry began but flattered "em we don't know?"

"You sure about that?" Ben crossed his arms a frown forming on his face.

Jay and Terry exchanged a look both knowing they should tell Ben but neither wanting to admit it "They" Jay finally began "may have gone after Alex once he left"

"And we tracked his mobile so Ryan, Sky and Car followed him" Terry went on.

"But someone else pick up on the Bluetooth device and now we kinda don't know where they're at" Steve finished his mouth twitching in a nervous habit.

Ben took a moment to process the information before growling under his breath and storming out of the room with every intent of phoning MI6 and demanding to know where they had sent his son...woo.

Ben froze when he realised he had just called Alex his son, son, the boy hadn't been here for more than a week and already Ben felt like he was part of the family. He had no idea how Alex would react to being called son by a man who had once bullied him even though they had gotten over that incident.

Ben was pulled back to the real world by his phone ringing "Daniels speaking" he answered on auto-pilot.

"Ben, it's Wolf" the other man answered "did you happen to lose something or someone?"

Ben closed his eyes tiredly "did you find them?"

"Yup, we were on an assignment all four of them happened to be there, we took them back to Brecon and the sergeant told them to stay the night"

Ben nodded even though the other man couldn't see it "are any of them hurt?"

"Sky nearly had another panic attack but Lynx sorted her out before it got serious, Alex has a couple of bruises but apart from that they are fine" Ben sensed something was wrong when Wolf paused "they found out Alex was an agent"

"Great" Ben muttered in sarcasm "another thing to deal with, I'll come down in the afternoon to get them then we can talk"

"Night Fox"

"Bye Wolf"

Now to deal with the other three.

Alex sat on the porch of K-units cabin his sight drawn to the stars dotting across the sky, he had awoken after another one of his horrific nightmares but this time had been different.

It hadn't been Ian, Jack or even Yassen he had dreamt about, no, it had been Carlos, Jay, Ryan and the others, even K-unit and Ben had been there and they had all been blaming him for their deaths.

Sighing Alex settled his chin on his knees which were drawn to his chest, the cold breeze ruffled his fair locks but the cold air didn't affect him.

"You'll catch a cold y'know"

Alex glanced over to the side to see Skylar had wandered out to the porch, Eagle's coat wrapped around her shoulders acting as a blanket.

When Alex didn't answer Skylar sat on the railing opposite him her head cocked to the side "problem Rider?"

"No problem" Alex mumbled back, in no mood to talk to the teen but he did want answers "why did you follow me?"

Skylar hummed like she had expected the question "We wanted answers about MI6 and when I went to get you your room was empty, we had Steve and Scott track you" she chuckled at his puzzled face "trust me the little dudes are smart, anyway, we figured you were in trouble and I convinced Ryan that Carlos could come with us"

The two teens winced at that.

"Obviously not one of my smartest ideas" Skylar admitted sheepishly

Alex couldn't help but agree but something else was nagging him "you knocked that man off me when he was trying to kill me" he stated.

A red blush crept along Skylar's cheeks and she traced a pattern on the railing "you are part of the family, I guess, I protect my family" she coughed like the fact pained her "Ryan asked me to do something for him"

Alex perked up "oh yea?"

"Yea" she closed her eyes briefly "you told him about some of your past and he want's you to know some of his, he thinks it's easier if someone else tells you though"

Alex's brows drew together "why won't he tell me himself?"

Skylar smirked "it's no big deal, it's the same way I found out about everyone else, they don't like to tell their own stories but they'll let us tell others...yea I know it sounds wired just deal with it"

Alex let a small smile slip past as the girl stumbled over her words.

"So, Ryan's been living with Ben for 4 years, before that he lived with his mum and his step-dad" she paused thinking over what to say "his real dad left when he was five and his mum re-married when he was eight, his step-dad was a nice man to begin with but then he started turning violent towards his mum, Ryan ignored it at first but when it started to get worse and he turned nine he tried to step in and help" Skylar cringed like the memory hurt her "his step-dad pushed him about, hit him a bit, nothing major but his mum didn't care and so when he turned ten he ran"

Alex took the details in then frowned "where'd he go?"

"The streets" Skylar pulled the coat around her tighter "he got involved in drug dealing, he never used" she insisted "but then it led to arms trading and getting involved in different groups...Ben found him when he was 13 and well took him in" she bit her lip debating whether to say something or not "I actually met him before I met Ben" she let the little bit of information slip. Alex let all the information sink in before showing a crooked grin "guess Ben wasn't wrong when he said you all had your own past and problems" he looked back up at the stars.

Things are turning around.
