Prompt Number Fourteen: Wild
Word Count (discounting A/Ns): 412
Tecna was going wild with worry. Musa had been 'gone' for three whole months now, and her condition had not worsened, or bettered. She tried to do some research on the effects on going comatose, but so far, she had come up with nothing.
She knew why her friend went into a coma, and for that reason she wanted to throttle the man that Flora had her heart set on helping.
Riven didn't love Musa. Well. He probably did, deep inside. But he never showed his love for her in public. Or, according to the Music Fairy, it was limited when they were alone. So she decided to start self harming.
One morning, she was taking ages in the bathroom. She wouldn't respond to her friends either. So Flora used her vines to break the door lock. (In times of desperation, even the calmest fairy uses violent methods.)
What they saw next shattered their hearts.
Musa lay on the floor, unconscious. Everyone thought that she was dead, but then Bloom checked her pulse and was extremely relieved to find it there. She lay in a pool of blood. It stained her clothes; her hair.
The other girls had all pitched in. The Alfea nurse couldn't find a problem. So Flora called an ambulance and they took her to the hospital. The doctors revealed she was in a coma.
Everyone was in tears. Tecna grabbed Flora and sobbed on her shoulder.
Then Riven showed up. He seemed to be holding in his tears. Flora went up to him and started an interrogation. He pushed her away roughly, the tears finally falling.
Ever since then, Flora had tried to help Riven. Tecna had no idea why. Riven acted like a jackass.
Tecna ripped her eyes away from the pictures of Musa on her computer screen.
"Flora," she asked as the Nature Fairy wandered in.
"Yes?" the brunette replied.
"Why... are you so intent on helping Riven?"
The other fairy sighed. "Because... I didn't mean to interrogate him like I did. I was just... angry... and I kind of knew that he was the reason that Musa was like this. "
"Then why help him?"
"Because it was wrong. I wanted him to forgive me. And now that he has, I want to help him because I don't like seeing him upset."
Tecna nodded. "I see. Sorry if I sounded a bit harsh then."
Flora shook her head with a smile: a sign of forgiveness.
