Okay, so as you guy know I don't have internet right now in my house so it's taking me some time to update. I am absolutely excited for this story, however, so I had no difficulty with inspiration. Instead of Review and Slay, I've decided to fill you in on the song that I literally listen to every time I write a chapter in this story (: The song is ''River Flows in you'' By Lindsey Stirling (I think she's Mormon, which is so cool because I am too) so listen to it c: I'TS BEAUTIFUL. Btw M.A wanted me to share the song Angel with a Shotgun by the Cab (thanks, girl! I really liked it). Well, thank you so much to those eleven new followers and for all those amazing reviews! I freak out every time I see one because I love hearing your opinions haha.

Jack: -growls- get on with the story, mate

Me: Well, if you're going to have that attitude-

Jack: Okay, okay, I'm sorry

Me: -glares at him- that's what I thought

Chapter 12

''Of course I do'' Rapunzel smiled.

Elsa's mouth was dry and she wasn't sure why she was so terrified by the thought. She wanted to be seen so very badly by the humans, but now that she was finally able to be seen by one, she couldn't help but feel her stomach turn.

This was all so fast, so unexpected.

Jack stood by her side, his eyes widen and his own jaw on the floor. He clearly had never had a human, a real actual human, look him straight in the eye and talk to him. Elsa got the impression that this was a very dear moment in his life.

''B- But how?'' he managed to choke out, exhaling deeply.

Rapunzel's eyes glint with gold as she walked to the doors of her balcony. ''What other way? The man in the moon''

''You know about the man in the moon?'' Jack's voice had now increased, and Elsa could see a clear smile tugging on his lips.

She nodded her head, just as excited. ''Well, I was saved by a magic flower. Manny said something about me being magical myself''

Jack ran to her, wrapping his arms around her, careful to not hurt her baby bump. ''Finally, someone can see me''

In that very instant, something inside of Elsa broke. She wasn't sure what; maybe the way he automatically embraced the strange girl or the fact that he had admitted he was glad someone could see him.

Was she not enough?

Would he end up throwing her away now that he had someone who gave him something he always wished for?

Of course he would, why would she even question it? Jack wouldn't want her anymore, and she had to admit her heart hurt just thinking about him being happy with Rapunzel or another human girl. Maybe he wouldn't hesitate to kiss whoever that girl was.

He'll forget about you, she could've sworn she heard her father's voice in her mind. Now that he has what he's always wanted, he won't want you anymore.

''This is insane,'' Jack beamed, walking back and forth in the bedroom.

Elsa crossed her arms across her chest, in hopes to hide the tears beginning to form in her eyes.

The beautiful princess simply stared at him in amusement.

''Why is it so insane?''

''You can see me'' he said it as if it were the most obvious thing in the world. ''No human has ever been able to see me''

He suddenly stopped for a moment, and Elsa hoped he would remember she was still in the room, but he turned his head back to Rapunzel.

''Wait, but I've been around for years now. Why is this the first time you acknowledge me?''

Rapunzel walked over to the center of the room, in which a giant sun was drawn on the floor with different designs expanding beyond it. The sun was a lot like the ones that were placed all over the village in flags, and Elsa had to admit it was so pleasant to look at.

''I'm not sure. I just know that for years I would feel someone in the room with me, but I would just shrug it off and tell myself that there was nothing there.''

She looked down at her stomach, smiling as she ran her fingers through her belly. ''That is until I became pregnant and that's when a lot began to occur. Manny began contacting me and not so long ago he mentioned two spirits would come visit me, one being the winter spirit, and I just knew that it had to be you''

Her eyes brightened as she locked them with Jack. ''you were the one who has been visiting me for such a long time, and we hadn't noticed''

Elsa was about to question the part about two spirits, but she bit her lip and made sure to keep her mouth shut.

She wouldn't want to interrupt their moment.

Jack scratched the back of his neck. ''yeah, well Flynn and you can be pretty entertaining''

The sound of her husband's name caused Rapunzel to playfully roll her eyes. ''Yeah, Eugene can be amusing''

They shared a laugh, and Elsa couldn't help but feel out of place. It was clear to her that she was an extra in the room, and that Jack had no problem confirming it by completely ignoring her. She was so, so vulnerable and she wasn't used to this feeling.

She didn't want to be, but somehow she knew Jack brought out that weakness in her. Elsa just couldn't deal with this anymore, so she grabbed ahold of Sterling's reins as she made her way to the bedroom door.

Come on, princess, just come home

''So, what's your name?'' Rapunzel's perky voice, made her way to her ear as she found the blonde grinning at her.

Elsa awkwardly stared around the room, letting go of Sterling's reins and hugging herself with her arms. ''Elsa''

Rapunzel soon caught her by surprise by hugging her. ''That's such a beautiful name. Are you Jack's girlfriend?''

Jack fell into a coughing fit as Elsa shook her head, violently.

''No, no'' she denied, hugging herself even tighter.

Jack leaned on his staff, staring around the room. ''Nah she's not.''

Elsa's eyebrows furrowed at how casually and unemotional the words had made themselves out of his mouth.

The door rapidly opened and soon, a man she could only assume would be Rapunzel's husband walked in with a smirk on his face.

''Hey, Blondie'' he walked up to her and planted a tender kiss on her lips.

His brown eyes stared down at his wife's stomach as he kneeled down so he could be at level with it. ''And hello there, baby''

Eugene kissed Rapunzel's bump and held his ear to it. ''I hope you're doing fine in there. Daddy can't wait to see you''

Jack chuckled, as he made his way to Elsa's side. ''Ha, tough Flynn is now a softie'' he smirked, as he tried to place his elbow on her shoulder.

Elsa took a step to her side before he could and thankfully, Sterling came to stand between them.

Rapunzel's eyes slightly met theirs before turning to her husband. ''Hey, Eugene''

''What were you doing in here so long? I thought you were just getting changed''

The princess huffed, placing her hands on her hips. ''It was less than half an hour ago''

He wrapped his arms around her waist, and pulled her in while smiling. ''I know, but I want to have you here by my side. I want to make sure nothing happens to you or our little one''

Elsa's heart sunk because she knew she would never have that.

''Possessive much,'' Rapunzel giggled, kissing his nose. ''Thank you, Eugene. You're so sweet, but I'm not done getting ready.''

Flynn walked over to their window, and leaned his back over it. ''I'll stay anyway''

Jack rolled his eyes, pushing Eugene, but of course nothing happened.

''Give her space, Rider. She's with us''

Elsa could see that Rapunzel was trying to hide a laugh. ''It's alright. But can you please do me a favor and make sure everything's ready for the lights. Please, for me''

She pulled out the endearing eyes, that Elsa could've sworn that she could have any man or beast on their feet.

Eugene sighed, a piece of his dark brown hair flying from his eyes. ''Fine. But I'll be back in a few minutes. I don't want your parents to kill me for leaving you for so long''

He kissed her forehead and walked out the bedroom, closing the bedroom door shut.

''He's changed a lot, hasn't he?'' Jack snickered.

''yeah, but he's still mischievous. The guards still have to keep their eyes on him''

Elsa felt Rapunzel's eyes examine her and she thought about bluntly asking her what she was staring at. But she was so sweet, and she shouldn't let out her frustration and sorrow out on Rapunzel who had been nothing but nice to her. After all, it was Jack who ruined everything.

''Jack, can you do we a favor?''

He twirled his staff around in his hand, too close to Sterling's face and it was obvious that he was doing it to bother the poor horse.

Sterling was clearly losing his patience. ''What? You want me to keep an eye on Flynn too?''

When Rapunzel nodded her head, Jack's face twisted to disagreement. ''what? You can't be serious!''

''Please,'' her emerald eyes turned back to those of a little child's. ''I want to show Elsa something really quick. We'll be down before the ceremony begins''

Jack turned to Elsa, who tensed having his eyes on her, and shuffled between both girls. ''Fine. Just take care of Elsa, will you?''

That caught her by surprise, seeing that she would figure he would've asked Elsa to do the opposite. But as he tried to catch her eyes before he left, she pretended to caress Sterling's head. She turned back to the doorway once she knew he was gone, and she mentally cursed herself for putting so much of her attention towards someone she never knew existed until a few days ago.

They would end up going their separate ways anyways, and here she was upset over him.

Jack Frost out of all guys.

''So what's going on between you and Jack?'' Rapunzel asked, after seconds of silence.

Elsa began to panic, glimpsing nervously around the entire room. ''What are you talking about? There's nothing going on between Jack and I''

The princess giggled, tucking a strand of her dark hair behind her ear. ''Sure,'' she teased.

She didn't believe her. ''I see the way you two are acting around each other''

Elsa took a deep breath, leaning gently on Sterling. ''And how exactly are we acting?''

''Like two people who obviously have feelings for each other''

Rapunzel smirked, seeing Elsa's burning cheeks and nervous habit of playing with her fingers and messing with her hair.

''No offense, your highness'' Elsa spat, reminding her of the cold and icy girl she was not so long ago. Maybe it was better that that Elsa came back; she seemed to have her guard up. ''but you don't even know us, well me. You can't just say things like that''

Rapunzel grabbed her hand, joyfully pulling her to the door.

Elsa's eyebrow rose as she felt Sterling snuggle next to her. ''Where are you taking me?''

''you'll see,'' Rapunzel smiled.

Elsa wanted to escape from this castle, from Jack and Rapunzel, from everything she had experienced and just go back to her father. She knew she would eventually regret leaving home, and the feeling was just now beating onto her.

But something in Rapunzel's words made a tiny part of her heart feel different, unlike the rest of it that was nothing but filled with remorse and sorrow. She could've sworn she had lost that part of herself throughout the journey, and even after all the crap that was happening, it seemed to remain within herself; that little thing called hope.
