Chapter 12: "THANK YOU"
Andrei had worked more than two decades as a bus driver in Romania so he knew from his experience that each new route assigned to him could mean a drastic change about the travelers type that would transport but he he never met people as diverse as whose that took from the airport to one of the most peripheral villages immersed in the wildest part of Romania
It was something he was grateful for breaking the monotony of the narrow road following the sway of their mountain formations in the area that would be a gift for his sight if he I hadnt to stay focused on the road. Under his gray and blue hat, set with the rest of the uniform, poked a small white tuft that he intuited every time he looked in the rearview mirror to control the passage carrying this time
He had heard absurd rumors that he didn't believe but it was obvious that these rumours attracted tourists from various countries such as carrying on that occasion, being most of them from the United States and Europe, some really weird as the one he were listening since they left the airport
-"Arent you excited? " - Rumbled in the ramshackle bus an excited voice loud enough to be hear for the rest of the passage
-"I told you yes already, sir " answered once again a resigned plump lady with short curly hair who wore a pink dress with white and yellow floral ornament while looked away looking for any empty seat unsuccessfully where she may move. She was listening thaht man for a while without understanding how someone as seemingly mature could had such a childish attitude
Jerry couldnt help feeling excited everytime he thought of the goal where that vehicule was taking him in a constant rattle swing that didn't made him feel secured . Like any boy he had grown up with mythical legends from nightmare beings compounded by Hollywood movies , but contrary to what used to be natural in the kids in his generation, he didnt feel fear, almost thought about them asmisunderstood beings whose mythology fascinated them. He had Recently in his memories, days ago , he listened the growing rumor that the mythology turned out to be true ... het almost couldnt believe the rumor altought he needed it was true. - "At last, i thought he would never shut up ," commented Brian eased to his coworker looking at a couple of seats further back over the headrest worn blue upholstery. Andrei felt good about that group , they all seemed to be good people in their way except for one; often he looked through the rearview to the boy that inspired him fear as soon as he stepped the stair access to bus
Quickly, he spotted the silent rough-looking boy sat in the last row staying impassive looking out the window with noone sitting around , no doubt his appearance was a cause, he was a menacing figure dressed in dark clothes with very short hair , scarred and similar look that a professional murderer could be
Quickly, he had to stop to looking at the rearview mirro to start deepen into the dense, dark forest that from the first day that he drive this route made him goosebumps, though fortunately he only had to drive a few minutes until the end of the tour, that already envisioned . He Felt a strange mixture of feelings, he was relieved by disembarrass the frightening boy, but sad to leave the rest
-"work hazzard ," he thought , shaking his head as he reached to grab the microphone while the bus started to slow down to stop at a few meters in the middle of the dirt road in the forest density
-" Ladies and gentlemen ... we have reached the end of the tour "- Andrei announced knowing , before they began to happened , it would be complaints by initial confusion among passengers
-" the end? I Dont see anything ! " - He said as he and Sly began to put away their laptops after saving the latest changes on their worm
-"do you mean us to go down in the middle of nowhere ?" exclaimed Indignanted the stout woman whose hair was covered with a huge wicker hat stopping in front of the driver while the other passengers reluctantly began to take their bags to alight , unconvinced of vehicle
-"please" Andrei reassure as he left his cab to lower the vehicle to give last instructions to the increasingly agitated group looked uneasy in all directions of the fogged Darkness around them -"unfortunately this vehicle has a higher height as the tunnel that has to be driven to reach your destination so you have to walk a little way to reach your accommodation "
-"you just have to follow this way"- he pointed at the mud floor vehicle markings that deviated from the path into the woods -" in less than 5 minutes youll reach a tunnel that must be traversed to reach your destination "
The small group stayed silent for a few seconds until finally a voice was heared , -"Well, Arent we going?"- Suggested the dangerous looking boy causing the other passengers stare at him
Wayne and Wanda had, since the sun went down , eagerly awaiting at the spacious lobby to arrive two of his sons . Almost all his litter , with the passing of years , had begun to make their own life and the open of their world to humans one offered them a wide range of possibilities that they didnt hesitate to discover
However his son Wilbur and Taylor -the newest member of their offspring- would reach the hotel in short because the curiosity aroused in them by the latest facts regarding his only sister that their parents reported them in a letter , so when a teleowl like Johnny liked to call it, brought them a mail advising them of their arrival , they rejoice since already less then and not used to came be separated from their children so long
-"They should be arriving soon" Wayne said taking his wife out from her toughts to notice her sad expression -"its sure th ... "- He interrupted himself sharply sniffing the air to perceive a familiar smell from someone who quickly recognized causing a change of expression in his face and directing his gaze to the side of the hall, seeing a capped female figure going through the hall towards them causing the fearful monsters that were in the room let diverge over
-" Good evening , could spare a few moments?"- asked with Soft education under which they knew it was just a facade that hid her danger
Wayne and Wanda looked hesitantly at each other and nodded concerned knowing they had no choice
-" Please follow me, lets look for a more discreet place out from curious ears reach "- invited them turning over to made the follow her after realizing the curiosity showed by her presence in the rest of guests
the uneasy werewolf couple followed her knowing that nothing good could come from the vamp until they arrived to, familiar to them, activities room where Count liked to hold playful activities, now deserted and immersed in the shadows by the absence of lighten candles only getting a faint moonlight beam from outside giving the room an almost unrecognizable appearance
Going in a little more in the room and merge with the shadow, she turned to face the marriage - " Excuse the trouble, Im not going to take so much time from you" - Eve politely apologize taking a few seconds before proceeding to avoid the feeling of pushing the too much -"What do you think about the relationship between your daughter and that human ?"
Once again Wayne and Wanda looked each other confused: they didn't think at any time the topic could be that Eve had just said
-" Well ... "- Wayne started as he scratched his head -"the truth is that I was surprised a little when I knew it" "

-" Fellas!, you are here! Wilbur and Naylor are outisde ... "- Johnny abruptly stopped himself after bursting into the room with hasty step in an apparent search for the couple just to stay rooted to the spot to see Eve coming out of the shadows glaring at him for lack of boy decorum
-" Sorry ... " Johnny apologized quickly
Eve slowly shook his head "no matter , no more to say ," said past the marriage that took each other's as they saw Eve stopped in front of Jonathan
-" As I believed years ago , I 'm afraid you've lit the fuse of something very dangerous,"- she said giving her back to Johnny before continuing her way out of the room
Johnny stayed looking her with puzzled face before heading Wayne -"whats up with her? "
-" Nah , forget it " Wayne replied with a shrug as he walked down the hall a few steps ahead from Wanda who stood before the young vampire
-"Humans are not the only ones to stumble twice on the same stone "
-" Welcome to hotel transylvania " gently announced a girl to the small huiman group who crossed the doors of the hall and whose arrival she expected as the data recorded in the reservation book
Crexis shyly looked down to notice how mavis 's eyes rested on him as she did with the rest of the group. He Always felt intimidated by women and whose with a nice looking like her made increased this problem

Along the course, Crexis noticed his teacher fascination by mythological characters, and their influence on Greek culture and society . Winnie began to wake up slowly, feeling a soft and pleasant feeling along her cheek. she opened her eyes Slowly beginning to distinguish with blurred vision even a figure,

-" Good night, Princess " -said Danny fondly while he was still stroking her face
-"How long are you here? "- SHe Said blushing slightly
-"Just a moment , I found your parents going out from the room and they allowed me to wake you up , hope u dont mind "
Getting up slowly from his old wooden bed on which lay a fluffy feather mattress and dark red sheets , the girl gived him a soft kiss as answer, staying after with their foreheads together several seconds until they heard a couple of blows in the room door asking permission to enter
Giving her a last stroke while they still had their foreheads together, Daniel went to the door and turn the knob to allow go in who had called stayed frozen seeing who performed the blows wasnt, as he supposed , Wayne and Wanda
-" you are Daniel , arent you? Am i allow to go in? -"said a slim female figure wrapped in a black cloak that seemed to merge with her raven hair
-"... Eh ... Yeah, sure , "
" I would like to talk to you a moment "
-"with Me ? "- Repeated confused -"of what? "
-" I'd rather it was in private"- Eve politely suggested, looking at the young weregirl coming out of the small wooden closet wardrobe when she finished changing clothes wearing his favorite pink shirt combined with dark jeans preparing to leave the room by the request of Eve
-" Excuse me, ma'am , I have no secrets to Winnie. Tell by you or tell by me later, she is going to found out " replied to Eve who looked him surprised by the audacity and lack of prudence. As Daniel finished the sentence he realized how rude it sounded but the truth is that, after what Jonnhy and Mavis told him abou eve, he didnt want to stay alone with the vampiress
-" As you wish, " - the vampirss said dryly changing her attitude before proceeding -" you have to stop seeing each other "
-" What are you saying ? "- Winnie said unable to hide her outrage while to Danny stayed quiet with serious gesture while was listening
-"You are starting something very dangerous and it is the best if you get separated as soon as possible"- the vampire continued , -" you need not to know anymore"
-" Excuse me, but im going to need something more to know than this to take away the only person who has given a meaning to my life," he insisted with a slight tone of sarcasm
Eve began to lose her wamth whit that human because of hisr irrelevance -" One thing is to maintain a cordial relationship with humans and another one is to maintain a deeper relationship with them , humans are not confident "- she ended looking Winnie looking cheerful her like a daughter whose she felt had to be protected
-" Why do you think I'm going to hurt her? "- Asked annoyed by knowing himself being accused of something that had never happened
-"Because it's that you humans do"- answered giving him the back while looking at the girl -" you dont know what it is to lose a loved one at the hands of one of yours ; Maybe Johnny is one small exception , but its only needed to see a little from your world to know how are humans"
-" You're wrong , I know was better than anyone that human are corrupt , selfish ... gods rid you about losing someone by just. You lost someone loved by human IGNORANCE ... but is there any difference between yo and them since you tryied Mavis and now Winnie to lost a loved one by your own IGNORANCE? " .- Daniel blamed without hiding a sharp tone making Winnie fear Eves reaction that turned facing Dan with bloodshot eyes raising her hand to the youngtser's neck stopping only a few steps as seeing the absent face without fear dripped a tear slowly sliding down his cheek as he stroked his silver shaped parchment pendant
-"Im not goign to lose to anyone else"- Daniel promised before Eve´s and Winnie´s blank look. He knew by Mavis and Johnny that she was someone of great influence in their world and although it was a topic that he tried to keep in secret he knew he wouldn't have another occasion to be compelling , so deeply inspired and a moment after he continuoed -"Years ago, when I was a child, my mother was diagnosed with a serious illness and after months of excruciating pain she died…. I didnt know until years later that a pharmaceutical company had the medicine that would have saved her but it wasn't marketed because it was not the most profitable moment for them "- began to explain while the vampires analized his eyes and covered her faced horrified
-" I could never get over it…. but it was just the beginning of my loss of faith in humanity , I have not stopped to meet slag : infidels , thieves, selfish , exploitative , corrupt , murderers ... "
-" But you're not so " Winnie babbled trying ease the pain emanating from the young man

Winnie approached Danny and hug him affectionately resting her face on his chest leaving defenseless the boy that instinctively hugged her back

Eve stepped back while looking at the couple embracing , closing the door behind him to leave the couple alone in the room -" as you want , I hope you have not regret it ."- It was the second time that she felt stunned and began to doubt herself
Hearing the words of Winnie , the young stay a moment unable to react before putting his forehead on hers staying both in the cozy bedroom, immersed in a silence that filled peace to the room until Daniel broke it with a whisper
