Art Class
"(Y/n), please come here. I want to show you something", a voice that belongs to a girl said. "What is it?", I asked as I stand beside the girl. "Look at the roses in our garden. It's is so beautiful", she said as she held my hand as she led me to the roses. She then kneeled down and picked up a white rosebud. After that, she looked at me and said, "(Y/n), do you know that each flower has its own meaning?". "No, I don't know that they have their own meaning. Please tell me about the meaning of the rose that you're holding", I said. The girl smiled and said, "This white rosebud symbolizes the symbolic of girlhood". And then, she put the white rosebud in my hair and said, "So, please enjoy your life and have fun. If something bad happens, forget all about it and don't be sad. Because we will always be by your side, ok?". "Ok", I said as I hugged the girl. The girl hugged me back and smiled as she said, "Thank you, my lovely little sister". After that, white light covered my vision and I woke up.
I woke up and looked around and realized I was in my bedroom. I sat up and saw Anna sitting on a chair beside my bed. She saw me sat up and then she quickly held my shoulders. "(Y/n), don't push yourself to hard", she said. "It's alright, Anna.", I said. She nodded and then she said, "(Y/n), do you want to eat? I'll prepare your breakfast". I looked at Anna, confused, because I don't know what she is talking about. "Breakfast… What do you mean by breakfast?", I asked as I tilted my head. "Actually, its 6:00 in the morning", she said. My eyes widen and I quickly jumped up out of my bed and said, "Anna, please prepare my breakfast right away. I will go to school". "Is it alright for you to go to school? Are you sure you can handle it?", she asked. "Yes, I-", I said as I was cut off and tripped on the carpet, "can". Anna quickly went to my side and helped me up as she looks at me worried. "Don't worry, Anna. I'll be fine", I said. After that, Anna went downstairs to prepare breakfast and I went to do my morning routine.
An hour has passed by and I was now sitting inside our car. I put on my glasses and looked at the scenery passing by. "Anna…", I called, "I want to ask you something". "What is it?", Anna asked. "Yesterday… I fainted in the back garden of the Academy and I know only a few students knows that place. I don't know what happened after that, so could you please tell me what happened next?", I said as I looked at Anna. "Well, I was waiting for you yesterday in front of the gates of the Academy with the car after classes ended. Few students saw me and they were wondering who I am and what did I came at the Academy for. I waited for you for 30 minutes after that and you still haven't come out. I tried calling your phone and you won't answer. I was starting to get worried, so I went inside the Academy and I started looking for you. And then, a girl that had a long, dark brown hair in a long ponytail and golden-honey coloured eyes came running at me. She asked me if I can help her because she found someone fainted in the back garden. I didn't had any doubts on helping her because I knew that the person who fainted in you. After that, I told her that I was your guardian and I went looking for you because you haven't showed up yet. She then helped me put you in the car and I thanked her for finding you and then we went home", she said as her eyes are still locked on the road. "Oh, but do you know what's the girl name? I would like to thank her", I said. "I'm sorry; I forgot to ask her name. I would like to give the cookies that I made for her. To thank her for her kindness again", she said. "I'll take the cookies and I'll go find her at the Academy", I said. After that, the car stops a block away from the Academy and I took the cookies from Anna and put it in my bag. And then, I thanked her and started walking towards the school.
As I was walking, I saw Mei walking towards the Academy alone. "Mei", I called her quietly. She stopped walking and looked behind. She saw me and then walked towards me instead and then she hugged me tightly. "Good morning", she said. "Morning", I replied and asked, "Mei, do you know a girl with long, dark brown hair in a long ponytail and golden-honey coloured eyes?". "Yes, I know someone", she responded back. "Really, can you please tell me who she is?", I said. "Yes, I can. The girl you are looking for is Vy. She is in the same grade as us and actually she is right over there", Mei said as she pointed at the girl in front of us. "Thank you for telling me who she is. Would you mind if I go and talk to her right now?", I said. Mei nodded and motioned me that I can go. "Ms. Vy", I called. Vy looked back at me and started running. I run after her and said, "Ms. Vy, could you please stop running. I just want to say thank you for saving me yesterday. I was the girl that you found in the back garden". Vy stopped running and looked at me. I took out the cookies in my bag and gave it to Vy. "Thank you very much, Ms. Vy", I said. "It's alright. Thanks you for the cookies and I'm sorry I'd run away from you. And please call me Vy", she said. "Ok, my name is (Y/n). I hope we can be friends", I said as I smiled at her and shake her hand.
*Time skip (Lunch Time)*
I was eating lunch with my friends including Vy. We were talking and laughing. After that, I went to the back garden again. As I was walking in the garden, I saw a white rosebud and I remembered that dream that I had. "The dream that I had last night…", I said, "Is about me and a girl who has the same age as me right now is in a garden. We were talking and she put a white rosebud in my hair". I sighed and thought, 'I wish I could have seen the girl's face in my dream and I can't help but think why she called me little sister'. The bell then rang signalling it is time for class. I ran towards the school and thought of what my next subject is. And my next subject was Art.
I walked inside the classroom and I sat beside Kiku. "Class, today's topic is about roses. We are going to draw roses today. So please pick up you pencils and sketchbooks and start drawing', Mrs. Yuki said. I took out my pencil and sketchbook and I started to think what rose I should draw. 'Hmmm…. A rose', I thought and then I remembered the rose in my dream and I quietly said, "Symbolic of girlhood…A white rosebud". After that, I started drawing the white rosebud. I was humming a song that caught everyone's attention in the room, while I was drawing. I looked around and felt embarrassed on the attention I've gotten.
Minutes later, the white rosebud that I draw is done. My drawing of the white rosebud was realistic and it is really relaxing to look at, except it is only black and white. I was the first person to finish the drawing that was assigned. I handed my drawing to Mrs. Yuki and then her eyes grew wide and said, "Ms. (Y/n), this is an amazing drawing. Class, look at Ms. (Y/n)'s drawing. This is what a true artist's drawing". The student looked at my drawing in front of the class. I was trembling in fear and thought, 'I don't want anyone to see my drawing. But I can't help thinking of what do they think of my drawing?'. I closed my eyes and wait for some nasty comments. But except for that, I received some compliments. "Wow, this is so pretty", one of the girl students said. "Awesome", another student said. After that, I received more compliments and before we know it class ended.
I came out of the class and Kiku called out to me. "(Y/n)-san, your drawing is so amazing and relaxing. You're a great drawer, (Y/n)-san", Kiku said. I blushed at what Kiku said and he did the same. And then, the two of us went to our next class in awkward silence.
