Our Weaknesses Against Us Part 1

A/N: Sorry for the long update, i do not own anything.

I pushed my hair out of my eyes, "Well, talking it out obviously isn't working so maybe some violence will."

Almost as soon as the words left my mouth I was knocked to the ground. Had one of them actually hit me? I opened my eyes to black and purple feathers.

Perfect…could this day get any worse?

"Trista, run!" I cried.

Trista fixed me with one of her looks that she only gives me when she is majorly pissed. "I'm not leaving you guys!" She flipped onto the table and punched the Tanga that got a little too close to her.

After I managed to get the upper hand on my own, I looked around to see everyone else. Thankfully they were holding their own. My main focus was Trista, she had never fought these before, and on that table with a bad leg she was vulnerable.

"Aisha!" Adam cried, as a Tanga came for him from behind and went for his neck.

Rocky was down after a Tanga kicked him in the back.

At that time I knew they were trying to get to use through our weaknesses.

For Adam it is Aisha and his neck, with Rocky his back, and as much as I hated to admit it, Trista is mine.

"Don't let your weakness show!" I cried.

Kat came up next to me, "How did this happen?"

I didn't have an answer so I focused on keeping myself alive while also keeping an eye on Trista. In reality the same thing was running through my mind. Why now? Did they keep tabs on us, and why didn't they attack us two days ago?

Trista let a slew of swear words in the multiple languages she speaks.

"Tris focus!" Kat yelled.

Trista who had confided in me that along with gymnastics had also studied martial arts, and was only a few weeks away from receiving her blue belt, when she got hurt. (A/N: I have Trista ranked as a green belt, if I have the colours wrong please inform me, I got my information online, that might be off.) She was thankfully using her knowledge to keep herself safe.

"Kimberly! Down!" Tommy voice rang from behind me.

I dropped as a Tangs flew over my head. Kat wasn't so lucky it slammed into the side of her head.

"Kat!" I screamed.

Kat staggered to her feet, "Bloody hell." She muttered before attacking the Tanga that hit her. Blood flowed from a cut on her temple but she was okay.

"They're too strong!" Aisha screamed.

"Don't break!" Jason screamed, "Stay focused!"

We were trying but we couldn't remain focused. Half of us haven't fought anything or kept up with martial arts in years. Even Billy who had been taking classes in high school admitted that he quit shortly after returning for college.

I had to remain strong. WE had to remain strong. Why is this so hard?

I wanted to protect Trista but the Tangas were coming faster and faster. So many, where were they all coming from?

"There's more now, how are they doing this?" Aisha screamed, as she was attacked by two at once.

"They're too strong!" Tommy cried. I couldn't even see him.

Trista was beginning to struggle. I could tell by the look in her eyes. She was beginning to favour her injured leg.

"You were once Power Rangers!" Trista cried, "Don't ever forget that! The power was inside you, not the coins!"

I remember telling her that. Those were the words Zordon always told us. The power is inside us. "The power is inside us!" I yelled.

That seemed to revitle us, but only for a bit. Rocky was once again kicked forcefully in the back, sending him down, and Adam was trying to protect himself and Aisha. I was also trying to protect myself and keep my eyes on my vulnerable girlfriend.

Jason got hit on the side of the face, and let out a slew of words that even Trista has never used.

"Trista!" Tommy cried, "Get down!"

Trista dropped down faster than I've seen anyone do so before. A Tanga just missed her. She stood up very unsteadily.

Before any of us could warn her, a Tanga came down and grabbed her by the shoulders. "Trista!" I screamed.

"Let me go!" Trista screamed.

"Trista, hang on!" Kat yelled.

Trista was never one to give up. Twisting her body, she kicked the Tanga under the chin with both feet.

It was hard to tell whose scream was louder, but right now my focus was on my wife, falling quickly out of the air.

Adam broke away from the Tengas attacking him and managed to catch Trista before she hit the ground. He quickly handed her over to Kat who was nearby.

Trista looked around quickly and screamed, "Zordon, if you are still around, now would be a good time to help!"

At that moment Kat and Trista disappeared in a flash of pink light. I smiled knowing that Zordon had heard Trista and he was going to help us.

*Kat's POV*

I felt myself being pulled away, but I'd felt this before, the times Zordon had called us to the Command Center or we teleported ourselves there, so I wasn't afraid, however I did not let go of Trista. I was afraid of what might happen to her if I let go.

We landed and Trista let out a sharp scream. I cringed, that means she must have landed on her bad leg.

"Wow." Trista whispered, "This is really the Command Center isn't it? This is a true real place."

"Kim told you about it right?" I wondered.

Trista turned around. I noticed how her bad leg just sort of dragged, her good leg was supporting her, "Well, yeah of course, but still seeing something for the first time is a little amazing."

"Hello Pink Ranger." A voice behind me said, almost scaring me out of my shoes.

I turned to face him, "Hello Zordon, thank you for rescuing us."

"Um...I don't mean to sound rude, but shouldn't you try to get the others here as well?" Trista asked, "They're in a lot of trouble."

"Alpha is working on it." Zordon said, "I suppose you know who I am."

"You are Zordon, you're an interdimensional being caught in a time warp. You created the power coins and chose those to be the Power Rangers as well as their replacements. Alpha 5 is your assistant, but as you are unable to leave the time warp he tends to have to do most of the hands on work." Trista replied.

Geez, how did she know all that? When Rita captured me and fed me the information I'd need to know to destroy the rangers, I didn't know all that. She's very impressive.

"I see you are well informed." Zordon replied. He also sounded quite impressed with her.

Trista shrugged, "My wife doesn't keep secrets from me. However our daughter is unaware of her past."

Suddenly a beam of yellow and two black lights ended up in front of us. It was Aisha, Zack, and Adam.

"Are you guys okay?" Trista asked, sounding remarkably calm.

"We're fine." Aisha answered, "How about you?"

I answered, "Good, we're good."

Suddenly double red lights landed less than an inch from me. Rocky and Jason they were safe.

Rocky landed on the floor. He crawled over to the wall and leaned up against it. "They nearly re-broke my back." he groaned.

Trista looked over at Zordon, "Can you get us some beds or at least cots?"

"Alpha is looking into it." Zordon replied, with no emotion.

I just then realized I had yet to see Alpha, i didn't even hear him.

Suddenly severa cots appeared in the back of the room. "Jason, help Rocky to a bed. Adam, Zack, I think you might benefit from a bed as well." Trista ordered.

Thankfully at that moment a blue and white light appeared. Billy looked okay but Tommy looked light he wouldn't make it to one of the cots.

"Where's Kimberly?" I asked.

Tommy made a weird noise and stumbled over to a cot. Billy mumbled something I couldn't understand.

"Billy, where is my wife?" Trista asked, her voice beginning to tremble.

"I cannot get a lock on the Pink Ranger." Alpha's computer-sounding voice said from a corner to my right. I turned and he was there fiddling with some controls. I wondered if he had been there the whole time.

"They got her. Kim was taken." Billy said, "We tried our hardest, but Kim was taken. The biggest problem is we don't know where."

A/N: This was originally going to be longer but I was able to at least get this out. I will try to get the next half out as soon as I can. Please review.
