The next days were much calmer since that night, than again living in muggle London. It wouldn't be on the news like it would be in the wizarding world. My mother was called into her office for a brief meeting, which meant I got to come along. I had received my letter for school with the list of materials I would need for this year. I sat in her office looking at her desk while she was at the meeting. It had been a long time since I last was in here, I smiled as I saw a picture of her when she was at school with a much younger Remus and what I assumed was Sirius Black. I let out a sigh and tap my fingers on the desk. My mind had been busy thinking about what she had told me about my dad. What could have possible upset her so badly. Causing them to have that fight and to split up, a sigh escaped me before the opening of the door caught my attention. "Let's go shopping before it gets too late..." My mother smiled and held the door open waiting for me.
We left the ministry and went shopping down in Diagon Alley which turned out to be more fun than I expected. I saw a few familiar faces in the stores and out on the street. It wasn't overly busy so that was a good thing. The last thing on the list was a set off dress robes or a dress for a formal occasion. I frowned lightly not being to overly fond of dresses. We went ahead and got one fitted and tailored. Standing in front of the large mirror I frowned looking at myself in the gown. "I hate dresses….and it doesn't even say why I need it other than it's a special occasion…" "I know sweetie…I know you hate dresses but you look so pretty in it…." I let out a sigh and nodded. I got out of the dress and got some accessories to go with it since my mother insisted and I can't really say no to her. After paying for everything we went back home and had dinner. It was only few days until school started again. I laid on my bed and let out a sigh I got up and began packing my things checking my list over and over again to make sure I had everything. Looking at my quill case and journal I smiled getting up, I picked up a small paper bag and smiled as I pulled out the leather wristband it had inside. I put it back inside the paper bag and put it into my shoulder bag along with my quill and journal. "Raven come out of your cave, we have guests. Remus is here for dinner along with an old friend" "Coming!" I smiled and left my room.
The day finally came and my mother took me to the Train station. "Alright remember what I told you, have fun enjoy your year, and keep up the good work. I'm proud of you…oh and try not to get detention again the first day, okay?" We both laughed and hugged. My suitcase was placed on the train and I climbed on turning around waving goodbye to her before moving through the trains looking for an empty compartment or a compartment with someone I knew. Finding an empty compartment I opened the door and sat down inside and looked out the window. Everyone seemed so excited and a few looked extremely nervous, must be the new first years. I smiled and turned away and opened my book and began to read. The train started to fill with more and more people, hearing them chat as they passed the compartment. The opening of the door made me look up and I smiled. "Hey Taylor, Tanor…" Both of them smiled and entered the compartment and sat down. Taylor sat across from me and Tanor on the same seat as me just at the end by the door. "Hey mind if we sit with you…I don't feel like listening to Parkinson on the way there" "sure. Go ahead considering you are already sitting..." "Great. I'll be right back" with that Tanor got up and left, I looked at his brother in question. "He is getting the others..." "Others?" He looked up at me and smiled. "Blaise, Theodore…and Draco..." I looked up at him and fought back a smile as I looked down at my book. "I see..." Sure enough after a minute the said boys came to the compartment. Tanor took his original spot, Theodore sat next to Taylor and Blaise next to him. Which only left the spot between me and Tanor. Draco sat down between us before shoving Tanor into the wall. "You're an idiot Tanor….Lock the door or she will try to get in here…" "Thank you for letting us sit with you, Celestral. Parkinson was being rather annoying already…it too early for her to be that way." Blaise spoke before turning to the newspaper in his hand. "No problem…." I returned to my book only to smile as Draco tugged at my bracelet, as the Train began to move.
I turned to him and smiled. Paying close attentions to the other boys across from us who seemed rather busy with whatever they were doing. I pulled out the small paper bag and handed it to Draco. "A late Christmas and birthday gift….I thought you would like it...it's meant for guys…I double checked..." He opened the bag and bulled out the bracelet. "It's nice….Thank you…" I smiled as he smiled at me, before slipping it on and tightening it so it fit snuggly on his wrist. "I was wondering if you would sit next to me in class again" I looked up at him and smiled feeling my cheeks warm up a bit. "I guess I could…I was hoping to do so…." "AWWWWW the two of you are so cute together! Just make it official already" Draco and turned to look at Tanor who was now laughing only to be punched in the side by Draco. His cheeks were a light red tint as he glared. "Shut it Tanor or I'll lock you out of this compartment and you can sit with Parkinson." I chuckled as Tanor's smile fell and crossed his arms. I looked up at Taylor who had been watching us silently, he smiled before turning back to his book before whispering to Theodore. "How about a bet my dear gents…" Tanor said and looked at the other three…I bet 70 galleons those two will kiss by Christmas." "What!" both Draco and I called in unison. "Hmm tempting…" Blaise put the newspaper down and smiled. "I'll say spring" Draco looked at Blaise in complete shock. "I'll go with the end of the year" "Taylor!" I whined and looked at him in frustration. "I'm with Taylor on this one…" Theodore mumbled. The four of them shook on the bet leaving both Draco and I frustrated and annoyed. I turned to the window with a huff and Draco sat with his arms crossed glaring at the boys. Whom in return only chuckled and laughed. Half way through the train ride Tanor jumped up after dozing off. "I want some sweets…I am going to go find that trolley…" "I'll come with you" Blaise got up and left with the younger twin to fix their sugar need. I let out a sigh and turned to look and noticed Taylor and Theodore got up and were leaving as well. "Well now that their gone….sorry about that…he just won't stop saying stuff like that…" "Its fine…its Tanor…he is an idiot…" we both chuckled and smiled. I turned to face him. "So how was your summer?" "It was great…we went on a family vacation to our summer home…down at the coast…and then we went to the quidditch match… I heard that turned south…" I only nodded in agreement. "It was horrifying…everything was fine and then suddenly people screamed and everything was burning…." "You were there?" I nodded and smiled as I felt his hand on my wrist. "Yeah…I and mother spend some time together after wards….but she ended up having to do her job…but we were all safe in the end..." "How was your summer other than that..." "It was nice…I spend allot of time with Remus and a few days with the twins…and then the last few days with my mother…it was the most time we spent together in years…it was nice.." "That's a good thing…" the other boys returned with some sweets and put them down on the table and munched on them as they chatted the rest of the way. I reached for one of the sugar quills only to make contact with Draco's hand. We both pulled away and looked the other way. Making the others laugh.
It was almost time to arrive at the school as we got up and packed everything to be ready for when the Train stopped. Once at the station we got off the train and walked to one of the carriages. Until a familiar voice called for Draco. "Go!" Tanor grabbed my hand an ran for one of the carriages followed by the other boys and got one once all of us were seated the carriage began to move leaving the young twin Zabini in a fit of laughter. "That was a close call..." I rolled my eyes and chuckled and looked at Draco who looked extremely relieved that we had made it on the carriage. "That bad?" "That bad" we both laughed as we were moved to the castle.
