Chapter 14 - What is hidden in the darkness

I got up and reach to the dark barrier, it was impossible to see anything inside, but I was sure that Hikari was there. I needed to find what was going on and my best chance was the books on Gennai's house.

"Let's go Biyomon, we need to go to meet Gennai." I told Biyomon, I look back to the dark force surrounding the village and Hikari. "I will come back Hikari just wait a little bit more."

I hoped that I could find something in those old books, I also needed to let Taichi know what was going on, but I knew that as soon as he knew his sister situation he would want to come here.

After a long walk we had finally reach Gennai's house, he open the door letting me and Biyomon enter.

"What happen Sora?" Gennais asked.

"Someone brought Hikari to de Digiworld, and they have her in a village surrounded by some dark force that doesn't let me pass." I explain to him.

"But how did Hikari enter the Digiworld only you can open the portals." Gennai's said while we both walk to his library.

"It looks like I'm not the only one. Takeru said that a dark light surrounded Hikari and she just disappeared." I told Gennai.

"Hmm a dark light? That's weird." Gennai said.

We were all looking to the books trying to find one that could help us find what was that mysterious light. There was to many books about the history of the Digiworld, but they didn't tell much it was all to vague. I was about to give up on the books when Biyomon let one fall on top of me. I look at the black cover, the title was written in gold and I could read ANCIENT DIGIMONS. Gennai came closer to me and look at the book.

"Weird I never saw that book before." He said.

I look at Gennai, he knew every book he had there, but this one just appeared from nowhere? I turn to see Biyomon.

"Biyomon where was this one?" I asked pointing to the book.

"On the top self, it was hidden behind another book." Biyomon answered.

Gennai and I look at each other and then we turn to the book, and I open it. I just stared to the pages they were all blank.

"How can there's nothing written?" I question.

Gennai took the book from my hands and looked closer.

"I think there's something written but the book is not letting us read it, mostly like the book with the story from ten years ago, it only let you read and see what you know." Gennai explain.

That was just great, how cloud I save Hikari now, the book not showing nothing just meant that it was somehow connected to what was going on. But why would the book appear if we weren't able to read it.

"I'm going back to the village, can I take this book with me Gennai?" I asked.

"Sure. Do you what me to contact Taichi and the others?" Gennais asked.

"Just contact with Taichi and Takeru they will be probably together." I answered.

Taichi P.O.V.

Just a couple of minutes had pass since the portal that Sora had open had close when my phone start to ring, I already knew who it was.

"Hello Koushiro." I said answering the call.

"Taichi a portal just open in front of Hikari school." He said on the other said of the phone.

I look at Takeru, he was looking at me still confused to what had just happen.

"I Know Koushiro." I told him.

"How did you know?" Koushiro asked confused.

"Because I'm here with Takeru." I explain.

"So you know who open it?" He questioned.

"Yes, but I can't say who is for now. The person went to get Hikari back." I said to him.

"Wait how can Hikari be in the Digiworld? Only one portal open." Koushiro said intrigued.

"We still don't know that yet. Come by my house, I will be there with Takeru waiting for news about Hikari." I told him and then hang up.

"Who is she Taichi?" Takeru finally spoke.

"I'm not sure yet, I only know what she told me, and I also know that Hikari knows her." I clarify to Takeru.

"Hikari knows her?" Takeru asked.

We both start to walk in direction to my house, there it would be easy to have some contact with the Digiworld.

"Yeah, she didn't tell me how they knew each other, but just before you called me to say that Hikari had vanish into thin air, Sora was telling me that we all knew her until six months ago, that she had block our memories of her." I start to explain.

"So she's one of us?" Takeru questioned.

"I'm guessing so. But one thing I'm sure, Hikari trust her, so I think we should too. When I saw them talk they look very close. So I fell that Hikari will be fine." I continued.

Takeru only look at me, we didn't say other word for the rest of the way, when we were in front of my house door I look at Takeru.

"You can't say to Koushiro or any of the others what I told you. Let's keep it between us from now. It think it's best if she's the one telling the all story to rest." I told him and then I open the door.

We enter and we both went direct to my room, I turn on my computer, hoping from some news. After about fifteen minutes Gennai appeared on the screen.

"Gennai?" both of us said.

"Hello, Taichi, Takeru. Glad your are together." Gennai said.

"Do you have news for us?" I asked.

"Yes, Sora already found Hikari." Gennai started.

So she was really in the Digiworld.

"When are they coming back?" Takeru asked.

"That I still don't know. Hikari his trap inside a village surrounded by a dark force. We still didn't find how to destroy the barrier. Sora just went back there, she's trying to find who brought Hikari to the Digiworld."

Hikari was trapped? Who ever is behind this will pay for take my little sister.

"Let me go there and help Gennai open a portal please." I said.

"Sorry Taichi I can't open any portal, only Sora is able to do that now. Don't worry I'm sure that she and Hikari will be back there in no time." Gennai said.

This was so frustrating, not being able to help.

"Gennai can you keep us posted on what is happening?" Takeru asked.

"Yes, as soon as I know more I will contact you two." Gennai said and his image disappeared from the screen.

"Clam down Taichi. Being like that won't help. You just said to be that since Hikari trust her so should we. So just trust her to bring Hikari back." Takeru said trying to calm me.

Takeru was right, I had to calm myself for Hikari. And for some reason I knew that I could trust Sora to keep and bring Hikari safe.

And there i finished one more chapter...hope you all are still liking it, i almost was to finish it in like chapter 15, but them this new idea to continue for a bit longer came to me, and they i had to go and do some research XD...new chapter probably by the end of the week :)
