I don't own man

Chapter 14:

"I'm not dancing" Deadpanned Kanda as he continued to evil eye Allen. He was so confused. What were they doing?! They should be KILLING the Noah, Not DANCING WITH THEM! What had happened when he was asleep. Allen continuously dodged the question but it later became apparent a deal of some sort was struck. Kanda swore, if Allen bargained this for his life, Kanda would NOT BE HAPPY!

"Please, Kanda! Just one? Everyone else looks like their having so much fun!" Allen was nearly hanging off the samurais arm, almost impressed that said samurai was still upright.

"No"

"PLEASE! Only one! I promise to stop hassling you after that!"

Kanda growled slightly before lifting Allen up. "Only one. That's IT!"

He was almost blinded by the ray of happiness leaking from Allen. The music seemed to be conspiring with the Albino as the music suddenly changed to a slow paced waltz. 'Brilliant'.

Kanda dragged his partner near the balcony before placing a hand on the others hip and hand. Allen smiled before the two began the slow dance, swaying this way and that, their long dresses not hindering their moves in any way. Adam watched from a distance and smiled.

"He doesn't know, does he?" Sighed Road as she floated onto the Earls shoulders.

"No, not yet at lest"

"Has all this really been necessary? The idea of being a murderer never sat well with me. Why couldn't we do this last time?"

"Last time Aramay had gone insane and he was a king. Nothing to do about that."

"But why all the..."

"Road, you know why, you just what me to say it. Now! Where on EARTH is Lero!" Adam sang, spinning around on a heeled foot. Road laughed and jumped away. Yes, she did know, but this is too much like the floods all over again.

Kanda mumbled slightly to Allen who stared in response.

"I didn't hear that, Im sorry"

"Why did you want to dance with me" Kanda repeated, his eyes staring into Allens who abruptly stopped moving. The boy looked down slightly and bit his cheek making Kanda hmm in confusion.

"I..." Allen tried but the words frayed and fell. "When I saw... . When you..." Allen was shaking slightly and Kanda never felt so lost in his life.

"You nearly..." Allen mumbled, "I was...". Kanda began to loose patience and by the look on the Albinos face, he was too, so Allen did the only thing he could think of. I a rush a speed, Allen leaned up and kissed Kanda gently before running off leaving behind a shocked samurai and a Happy Noah who had been watching not too far away.

Hope you liked it! Things are moving forward!...sort of...
