The Late Arrival: The New Students

In The Morning…

The Day Class were very noisy and trying to get close to the Night Class since they enter to their dorms very late.

- Excuse Me! At this time, all of you, the "Day Class" students cannot go any further than this!- shouted Yuki as she place her arms to the sides to block the way.

- Just a little more!- shouted a girl student from the Day Class.

Zero didn't even have to move a muscle and everyone behind him or close to him were freaking out.

-If you go one step ahead of me, I'll make you cry.- said Zero very creepy that make the girl to look terrify.

He look back at her with no expression on his face and they start to shout at him.

- Just ignore him! Become brave!-

- These days Kiryu is quiet, so it's okay! What are you, threatening a girl, Kiryu?!-

- Yeah, Yeah!-

- … Hey… Don't make too much trouble…- he turn around to stare at them and they became silent.

- Wait! You really can't go any further!- keep shouting Yuki.

- Just one picture with them!- shouted a girl with a camera in her hands.

- N-No!- Yuki try to push them as much as she could.

Then someone tap her shoulder making her look behind her.

- Want me to help you push them back?- asked Aido as he appeared behind her.

- Huh? Yeah, like I'll actually do that…- said Yuki when they pull her.

- Sorry everyone!- said Aido as the doors of the gates close.

- Ah!- shouted Yuki.

The Day Class girls were on the doors.

- That's not fair!-

- Why just prefects?!-

- I want to become a prefect too!/

Aido heard everything and start to chuckle while he have a smile on his face.

- They are so jealous of you. How cute.-

- Um… Please let go of me… I'll be going now.- said Yuki very annoyed but at the same time nervous.

- What's that attitude? I helped you.- said Aido very annoyed.

- Miss prefect's troubled, Aido. Yuki… You'll get hurt if you work too hard.- said Kaname.

- Um Yes…- said Yuki as she blush a little and with her left hand… she start to play with her hair.

By the time she said his name… the doors open very hard that make the wind push it's way inside. Yuki's eyes widen a little and look behind to see that it was Misaki. She didn't look too happy about it, in fact, she look terrifying.

-Let them abducted you again and I'm going to beat the crap out of them, Yuki. And specially Kuran.- said Misaki as she pull Yuki outside while Zero was looking everything.

He keep the doors open for them to get out and once out… Misaki let go of Yuki and Zero follow them. Yuki look behind to see Kaname while Misaki look also behind to stare back at Kaname with deadly eyes.

(Better be careful, brother. Otherwise… I'm really going to kill you.)

Zero also look behind with anger in his eyes. The doors close and everyone return back to the building.

At Night…

A carriage stop at the entrance of the school building. A girl with a dark cape got off with the help of a man with silver hair. She look at the building.

- Are you mad at me about letting Zero go that time, Yuki?- asked the Chairman. – Zero was born in a family of "Hunters", so sooner or later, that kind of job would have been assigned to him.-

Then the door open and reveal a girl with gray hair, silver eyes and pale skin.

- Eh… good evening.- she said very timid and blush a little.

- What?! A Nigh Class Student?!- shouted Yuki from the surprise.

- She's Maria Kurenai. Kurenai-san, this is my daughter, Yuki.- said the Chairman.

- Eh?! Ah… Nice to meet you.- said Yuki.

- What a delicious look person… healthy too…- said Maria while she look down and place her fingers on her lips.

- Heey! That's a taboo phrase in the academy!- the Chairman said to her very annoyed.

- Ah…! I'm sorry. Nice to meet you, Yuki-san.- she smile as Yuki force a smile on her face and with that they left.

From the window… Kaien watched them leave. He look at Maria very suspiciously. To unknown to them… a taxi stop at the entrance of the school and another girl got out with a suitcase on her right. She have a cape on her.

-Right there is the library, but at this time it's closed and the Night Class Students use the library in the dorm. Oh, This is the Class Room the Night Class are using today.- said Yuki as Maria then stops and she looks at her. – Is there something wrong?-

- Yuki-san. I'm actually scared, being admitted… would you believe me if I said that? A vampire who becomes ill easily would… probably be exceeded from them… Oh, see! You don't believe me!- said Maria as she was about to cry.

- Is that so?- she close her eyes and smile too like him.

When they open their eyes they stare at each other for a moment without blinking.

- I have a favor to ask of you.-

- What is it?- she asked with amusement.

- There is a new student in school and…-

- Let me guess… you want me to show that person the school grounds?- she smirk at him.

- That's right.-

Then a knock came from the door and both of them look back.

-She's ready it seems. Come in.-

A girl with gray hair, silver eyes and pale skin show at the entrance. Her hair was very long below her butt, she was as tall a Misaki only that she was shorter for 3 cm.

-Hi.- she said with a smile on her face.

Misaki was shock that she stay silent for a moment before she screams and dash toward her and hugs her.

- It seems that you know each other, right?- Kaien smile at the scene.

- Yes.-

- Misaki?-

- Hi, Anya.-

Both of them giggle for a moment before Kaien use his voice to get their attention and they stop.

-Anya Kurenai. I think you already know why you are here.-

- To keep an eye on my sister.- she said determine.

- You're sister?- asked Misaki.

- That's right, Misaki. Anya has a sister but her sister seems that she has something on her mind. She got here today too. I think right now she might be in class.-

With the Night Class…

- New students whose admitted late, huh… How mysterious, I smell a crime.- said Ichijo.

- Is he talking about a book he read yesterday?- asked Shiki.

- No, no. There really new students coming.- said Rima as she has a chocolate stick on her mouth.

- NOOOOOO! MY POKKIN CHOCO! I WAS GOING TO GIVE SOME TO DORM PRESIDENT KURAN TOO!- shouted Aido as he heard the breaking of the chocolate sticks on Shiki's mouth.

Kaname seem relax while he heard all the commotion.

- No… my amusement for the day is…- said Aido when a chuckle was heard.

Kaname focus his eyes to where it came from and then the rest. On the desk where the teacher is… Maria was there sitting down while chuckling there.

- I'm glad this seems like a fun class… Hey… hasn't the "class" begun yet?- said Maria with a seductive way.

- You… Who are you?- asked Aido since he was speechless and shock.

- … You?- asked Maria already angry.

Then she jumps from the desk to be in front of Aido.

-You… By "you" do you mean me?- asked Maria and Aido was frozen from the terror.

Once she place her hands on his face he was shaking with terror.

-It's not a big deal if the newcomer just tells her name herself… "Maria Kurenai"…- said Kaname very serious and with power on his voice.

That make Maria to look at him very sorry of herself and Aido seem to relax finally.

-…Ah…- said Maria and jump to be in front of him on a table. – I'm sorry for displeasing you… Kaname… Kuran-sama… Ok…! I'm so happy to be able to meet a pureblood!- she hold his hand and blush while she smile.
- Wha…- said Aido and Ruka.

Aido was piss off and Ruka was jealous.

-… Nice to meet you…- said Kaname very serious.

Then she feel everyone's eyes on her and while she look back everyone have murderous stares.

-Ah… I'm sorry. It looks like I caused a heavy atmosphere… I guess I should excuse myself for the present.- said Maria as she chuckle while she leave.

Meanwhile…

Misaki and Anya were walking around the building when they found Yuki.

-Yuki.- Misaki called her and once Yuki turn she smile.

- Misaki…- she stop as she look at Anya for the first time.

- Oh, Yuki. This is Anya. She's my best friend since I was a child. She transfer herself just now.-

- Nice to meet you Yuki.- said Anya as she make a little heads down as a reverence.

- Nice to meet you too, Anya.- Yuki seem as if something was bothering her.

- Is something bothering you?- asked Misaki.

- She seems familiar to a girl that just enter too.- said Yuki a little unsure to have answer in front of Anya.

- You must mean my little sister, Maria Kurenai, right?- asked Anya with a smirk and that make Yuki to jump.

- Your… Sister?-

- Yuki, breathe. Yes, Maria Kurenai is Anya's sister.- said Misaki very irritate with the way Yuki act.

- Well… I should leave you two.- said Yuki.

- Wait, Yuki!- called Anya.

- What is it?-

- Can I talk to you for a moment?-

- Um… yeah… sure…- said Yuki nervous.

- Then I should be the one leaving you two.- said Misaki with a smirk on her face while she leave.

She knew why Anya want to talk to Yuki but she wasn't going to find anything useful against her. Just like the old times. Once she was outside… she got the sight of Zero against a tree.

(Zero…)

He seem staring to the dark sky and she couldn't stop to blush a little. She walk very slowly toward him until she reach him.

-…Misaki?- asked Zero as he look at her but what he didn't expect was that she will pull his collarbone and pull him against her.

She use the opportunity to capture his lips while she close her eyes. Zero was shock too but he let go and kiss her back. He crash her against the tree and his body while Misaki moan and her hands went toward his neck and hair. Once they pull away for air they stare into each other's eyes.

- Feeling better?- she asked him in a whisper.

- What was that all about?- he asked her while they let go of each other.

- By the way, I heard from the Chairman; the girl you just saved a while ago… she's fine now, her memories about it are going to be entirely erased. You're relieved, right?- she said with a smile on her face.

- … Not really. It's not like I went to hunt that Level E, wanting to save someone… My will has nothing to do with it anyways… It's just a "work".-

The Vampire Hunter's duty…

-The gun that you gave me that day… it's right in my drawer. So I don't forget the promise.- she watch him with such determination that Zero was serious until he turn his head, he close his eyes and smile.

Then she smirk and she place herself in front of him and pull his tie toward her and she make herself be in tip toe. Then she went toward his ear.

-Are you sure that you're the one to strike me and not me to you?- she whisper very seductive and make herself back down but brushing her lips on his skin.

That make him groan a little while she let go of his tie and he stare at her with desire.

-You…-

She keep a smirk on her face until they heard someone coming toward them. She turn around to watch the girl staring at them. Both of the seam surprise and much Zero. His eyes stare at the girl with much surprise while she stare at him with no emotion on them except that she was curious.

-You must be Miss Kurenai, right? What are you doing here outside?- asked Misaki at the girl.

She was surprise that she was tiny like Yuki. She expected that Maria was going to be as tall as Anya but she was wrong.

- I thought you were Yuki. Sorry, for confusing you with her. It's just that I took it too far… and nobody likes me now…- said Maria as she hold her left side of her gray hair, her eyes seem down with worry until she look back up and they harden themselves.

- Zero…? Um…- said Misaki until her eyes widen and he took Bloody Rose out.

He was about to shoot at her, but then someone interfered in his way.

-NO!- shouted Yuki.

He was shock at first while he keep his angry face on his face.

- Without any reason, all of a sudden… what's wrong, Zero?!-

Zero's eyes were wide and then place his hand on his face while he place the gun down.

- No. Who the hell are you?-

- … How do you do…? I'm Maria Kurenai.- answer Maria while she hide behind Yuki since she look scare already but Misaki didn't pay it not even a bit.

She knew that she was pretending to be scare because she feel something unusual about her.

- I'm sorry, surprising you like this, Kurenai-san. This guy's and her also the academy's guardians and they're my partners, Zero Kiryu and Misaki Aragon.- she look at them. – Normally, he wouldn't do this much, but… uh, maybe he does…-

- … I guess loitering on my own wasn't good, I'm sorry. And… Thank you for protecting me, Yuki-san. You are a "good girl" I really like you… I know… That the blood of a girl like you is really delicious… I hope to become friends with you.- with that Maria start to leave with a smile on her face.

- Don't think that you just got lucky, Maria.- that make Zero and Yuki to look at me very surprise.

Maria seem also surprise and stare at me with a force smile.

- You'll see.- I said to her with a smirk on my face that I notice that she didn't like at all the surprises.

At the Moon Dorms...

- Maria Kurenai was admitted after having done all the proper procedures and pledge. She seems to be in poor health since she was born and till now she has never made an appearance to the "Night Society". I don't find anything weird… I think she seems to know nothing about fear.- said Kain.

- … Hey, Akatzuki, have you ever seen "That woman"?- asked Aido.

- That woman…?- asked Kain not understanding anything.

- The Pureblood being on an equal footing with "Kuran", who disappeared after becoming insane, Shizuka Hiou.- said Aido.

- … After the incident with the Kiryu Family, she went missing… Also said to be dead… Unfortunately, I've never met her. What about her?-
