A/N: So yeah, if you looked in the reviews recently, you can see that I have informed you guys of the connectivity problems with my interwebs. Hopefully, that won't continue to be a problem. I think I might start a blog with original stories rather than fan fiction and see how that goes. Hopefully, that will go well, but I don't know. Try and read! I love fan fiction, trust me I live for it, but I want to expand my writings a little and see if I have a future in creative writing (Which is what I plan on majoring in when I get to college, if all goes well). Don't worry though; my loyalty to you guys comes before everything else. I won't post a single word on any new story until these ones have been updated! /.\ Hope for the best for me guys!

Kidds POV

The room was silent for a moment before erupting into loud applause. Maka looked stunned at the reaction. She stuttered a thank you before climbing off the stage. She looked like she was about to go into shock. I stood up and made my way to where Maka stood.

"Maka, are you quite alright? You are looking very pale."

"Y-yeah, I am. I guess I am just really shocked, I guess. I mean, I have never sung for a large crowd before. I never in a million years would have thought anyone would like me that much." The poor thing was shaking like a leaf. I put my arm around her shoulder and guided her outside so she could get a breath of fresh air. I knew exactly how it felt to perform on stage for the first time, whether it was in front of hundred or just in a karaoke bar after school. As we were leaving, I looked up and caught a venomous glare from Soul. I couldn't help the triumphant smirk that crept onto my lips as I led Maka through the doors.

"So, regardless of the fact that you looked like you were about to faint the entire time, how did you feel, performing like that?"

"Like what?" She asked me, tilting her head in a cute way. I resisted the urge to dip my head and plant a kiss on her cheek. Barely.

"You know, with all that energy! You looked like you were about to either vomit in nervousness or start screaming in excitement. Hell, I felt like screaming from excitement and I was all the way across the room." And it was true. Something about the way Maka looked whenever she preformed made everyone around her experience what she must be experiencing. It makes you want to cry when she is sad or laugh when she is happy.

"I-I have no idea what you're talking about," She stammered, turning a tomato red. "All I know was that it was a rush to be up on the stage and singing. I felt like I could do anything when I was up there." Her eyes were almost shining in the moonlight. We were walking outside in a garden. There was a cemented path that led away, framed by pine trees and weeping willows. Out here with Maka and a perfect full moon, it felt nearly magical.

"Maka, I have something I want to tell you." I stopped walking and she turned to face me.

"What is it Kidd?" She asked.

"Maka, I have wanted to say something to you for a while, but I just couldn't find the right time to say it. Now, I think I have found it." Well, here it goes.

Maka's POV

Something was up with Kidd. He wouldn't look me in the eye and he was bright red.

"Kidd, are you sick or something? Is that what you wanted to tell me?" He looked surprised and gave me a wry smile.

"No, Maka, I am actually better than I have been in a while. What I wanted to say was that I like…." I didn't hear the rest of his sentence because my eye caught a shock of white hair behind Kidd's shoulder.

"Soul! Soul, did you see how the crowd reacted?" I laughed as I ran to Soul. In my excitement, I forget to watch where I was going. I tripped over a tree root and fell. Straight into Soul's arms.

"Maka!" I heard Kidd shout behind me.

"I'm alright. I'm sorry Soul!" I tried to get up, but he tightened his grip around me. "Soul?"

"Maka, come here, now!" I heard Kidd shout in panic.

"Soul, you can let go of me now." He didn't say a word. Something was wrong. This wasn't Soul. I looked up trying to get a better look at his face in the dim moonlight. I found myself staring into hypnotic red eyes, identical to Soul's.

"Let go of her!" I heard Kidd shout. Suddenly, he came into view, barreling full speed towards us. Not Soul laughed and just stepped aside, just before Kidd reached him. Kidd's momentum launched him forward and he crashed into a bush.

"Kidd!" I shouted. He moaned in response. "Let me go!" I tried to wiggle myself free but this guys arms were like an iron cage. "Who are you anyways?"

"Someone looking for revenge." The voice was deep, like Souls, but it had a velvety smoothness to it. And when he spoke, instead of the sharp teeth I expected, his teeth were even and straight, without the sharp edge like Soul's. That's enough I thought and opened my mouth to yell. Almost immediately his hand clamped down on my mouth, stifling the cry for help just before it could make it into the crisp, night air. Dammit! I thought. I tried to wiggle out of his grasp, but he just shifted so he could pinch the sensitive skin under my arm. I felt my eyes prick with tears.

"Wes." Souls voice rang out around us. I looked around, but he was out of my line of view.
