Obito held Rin tenderly in his arms as he rode with the other ninjas as they were still riding toward their destination. Frankly he didn't trust much her friends or anyone with her, plus this way it was more comfortable for both of them and he seemed to play the part of being her boyfriend well. So in the end holding her worked out well.
Anko glanced at Obito slightly interested in his intentions. –He hasn't let her go.- she observed, Anko then turned to glance at Kakashi. –Hmmm…..wonder what he's thinking. I've never talked to him and all of a sudden he asked if he could go with us, and I sarcastically said if he would be my date for the trip then yes and he accepted. Maybe he's just weird.-
Kakashi noticed Anko staring at him. He easily ignored her obvious staring and continued to read his "educational" book. Kakashi was one of the most popular and smart people at the ninja university. Every girl wanted to be with him, every boy wanted to be him and of course everyone wanted to be around him. Anko watched him as he kept reading.
-Why would the schools most popular boy accept and be my date.- Anko wondered as she kept observing him. He seemed so concentrated on his book. She smirked. -What is he plotting….well whatever not like its any of my concern, at least we'll get to have some fun at night. Kakashi -san must be very good with his…err skills.-
Anko blushed slightly and turned to look at Kurenai and whispered "So how're you doing with Asuma kun? You guys don't seem lovey dovey." Anko pointed out.
Obito looked out the window and pretended not to hear the conversation, as did Kakashi pretending to be concentrated on reading.
Kurenai glanced at Asuma and blushed a little. "Well umm we…" Kurenai thought of their last date, he had been very sweet. She felt like he was the one for her.
"We?" Anko smirked "That sounds nice and cozy, together, we." Kurenai watched embarrassed as Asuma glanced at them curiously, wondering what they were talking about. She blushed as their eyes met and she gave him a weak smile before turning away.
Kurenai turned quickly towards Anko "Well what about you and Kakashi!?" she quietly hissed, changing the subject so if Asuma overheard something it wouldn't be about them. Anko paused for a second and chewed on a dango stick. She glanced at Kakashi. "We're all lovey dovey and can't seem to get our hands off each other. Right Kakashi?" Anko said loudly as she looked at Kakashi.
Kakashi gave a nod, not really paying attention to Anko. Anko felt a bit ticked off that he wouldn't look at her. "Just the other day" she continued "he said that he loved me more than anything!"
Obito gave a small hiss as Rin stirred in his arms. Ankos voice was waking her up. He glared at Anko. "Keep it down." He said with an icy cold tone. Anko looked at him stunned. She didn't think he could ever had that kind of tone, he always seemed like a happy easy going person.
-What's his problem?- just as she opened her mouth to protest, Kakashi said "He's right you'll wake Rin up."
-..He didn't even know my name..how did he know hers.- Anko wondered –I never told him anything about her, just why is Kakashi here!?-
