Nudge POV

"Nudge, please stay. I love you. I'm begging you not to leave me." I stared down at his blue eyes. Trying to burn his features in my brain, I noticed the little things like the small scar near his eyebrow, the way his nose would twitch up slightly when he was annoyed, and how when he looked at me, the stress seemed to melt from his features. Kneeling down next to him, I searched his face.

"Iggy, I love you. I'm so sorry." A tear fell from my cheek, landing on the ground. Kissing his cheek, I slowly got up and turned away from the love of my life.

"Nudge! Please!" I heard him cry. Wiping the tears off my cheeks, I kept walking, trying to ignore the pain of my heart being ripped out of my chest.

I woke up sobbing. Tears streamed freely down my face as I bit down hard on my hand to try and muffle the sobs. The dream, so real and so terrifying, was still burned in my brain. It wouldn't go away. I missed him. I missed him so much. My heart hurt with every breath I took. I now realize how much I needed him, craved him. Like Fang and Max, we needed to be together.

"Nudge, what's wrong?" I looked up to see Max standing in the doorway. I shook my head, quickly wiping at the tears on my face.

"Nothing." It would have been convincing if my voice hadn't cracked.

"Tell me what's wrong, sweetie." She whispered, closing the door and coming to sit on my bed.

"Oh, Max. I messed up. I messed up big. You know how Ella likes Iggy, right?" Max nodded. "Well, it was at the beginning of the school year when we were both alone after school and we kind of clicked. We started to secretly date and I realized I loved him, but Max, Ella found out and I broke it off because I didn't want to torture her but I realize that I'm torturing myself." I sobbed. She wrapped her arms around me and I gladly hugged her back. There was a part of me that was desperately wishing it was Iggy holding me right now. "What should I do?" I whispered. She sighed, pulling back to look in my face.

"What does your heart say?"

"I want to be with Iggy. It hurts, Max. My heart hurts and I can't breathe. I've been having the same nightmare and every night it's like living breaking up with him over and over."

"Nudge, do you really love him?"

"Yes, just as much as you love Fang." She smiled slightly, putting a hang on my shoulder.

"If you love him that much and you're going through so much pain, then you should go to him, no matter what anybody thinks."

"That's really sensitive for you." I joked. She chuckled, brushing a piece of hair behind her ear.

"Yeah, love does that to you." Hugging her, another thought came to mind.

"What about Ella?"

"Sorry to say but Ella's a big girl, she'll get over it. I know it's not nice but you love him more than she could ever know." Smiling, I got up and quickly dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. "Nudge, what are you doing?" I turned towards her.

"I'm going to Iggy's."

"It's two in the morning." She stated. I shrugged, grabbing my phone.

"What are the directions to Fang's house?"

"It's three miles to the right from school, left turn, sixth house on the right."

"Thanks." I whispered, smiling at her. She returned it with a shrug. Running out of my bedroom, I made my way down the stairs, grabbing the car keys and rushing outside. I hopped in, Turning on the engine and followed Max's directions. No worries, I remembered my seatbelt. Going at least ten above the speed limit, which wasn't very fast anyway, I zoomed toward his house, jerking to a stop near the sidewalk. Slamming the door, I made my way towards the door. Shoving the keys in my pocket, I rang the door bell multiple times before knocking at least twenty. About to knock for the twenty first time, the door opened abruptly and Fang appeared.

"Nudge?" He asked, surprised.

"Is Iggy home?" I asked, jumping on the balls of my feet.

"Yeah, upstairs second door across the hall from the stair case."

"Thanks!" I called, sprinting up the stairs and into his room. There he was, leaning against the headboard, the glow from the TV casting a gray shadow over him. He looked up when the door open, eyes widening when he saw me.

"Nudge?" I ran across the room towards his bed, practically jumping on his lap and kissing him. He immediately wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me closer. I breathed him in, soaking up every inch of him against me. When we pulled apart, both breathless, a grin spread across his face. "Couldn't stay away?"

"I love you, you cocky bastard." I whispered. He smirked, looking at me with those startling blue eyes.

"And I love you, my princess." I shivered at the nickname, kissing him again.

I woke up in my room, on my bed. Tears streamed down my face as I realized it had all been a dream. Sobbing harder, I pressed my face into my pillow and muffled the sounds coming from my body. I trembled, trying to regain some control. When I had finally calmed, I grabbed my phone, going straight to my photos. There were tons with me and Iggy; at the pool, amusement park, roller skating, the park. I smiled at the memories the pictures held like the one with us laying next to each other on the wood chips.

"Wanna see how high I can go?" I asked. He nodded, smiling at me. I quickly got up from the park bench and made my way to the swing. Grabbing the chains, I swung my self back and forth before I was so high, when I straight ahead, my sight was filled with the sky. A laugh escaped my throat as I fell back, the feeling of rushing towards the ground sending butterflies in my stomach. I wondered if this was what flying felt like.

"why not jump?" Iggy called to me. I looked at him, my mouth forming an 'O' in shock.

"Do you want me to die?" I asked. He laughed, shaking his head.

"Slow down and then jump. I'll catch you." Dragging my feet against the ground a couple times, I slowed to a point where I was comfortable jumping off.

"Ready?" I asked him. Swinging back, I prepared myself before flying off and landing into Iggy. Falling back, I laughed as I landed on his chest. He looked at me, a smile in his eyes.

"Hey, beautiful." He whispered.

"Hi." I whispered, breathless. Putting his lips on mine, I shivered as his fingers brushed the bare skin that was showing from when my shirt rode up.

"I love you." He whispered against my lips.

"I love you too." I grinned, taking out my phone to get a picture.

Tears fell down my cheeks from thinking about it. That was the first time we had said 'I love you' to each other. My heart hurt from the memory. More tears fell from my cheeks as I clutched the phone to my chest. I choked, biting my lip to stop from crying out loud. I needed him, craved him. Every part of my being ached for him. Oh how I wished I could touch him.

"Why are you crying?" A cold voice said from my doorway. I looked up to see Ella standing there, glaring at me. Wiping the stray tears, I stared at her.

"Broke it off with Iggy."

"What? Thought if you broke up, I'd forgive you?" She sneered.

"No, I couldn't stand the thought of hurting you when you saw us together." I mumbled. Her face softened slightly as she looked down at me.

"Guess you should have thought about that before you two got together." Now I was angry.

"You have a crush on him. I love the man. You will say you love him but you don't know what love is. I crave him, need him, and I ended it because of your ungrateful ass." I was now standing, glaring at her. "I thought you were my sister, but you're obviously just pissed that I got him and he loves me, not you. You can hate me all you want because, right now, I hate myself for falling for your crying act and breaking it off with the love of my life." Going to my closet, I shoved on some jeans and grabbed one of my gray t-shirts with a glass of lemonade and the words 'Make Lemonade'. Not bothering to put on makeup, I grabbed my phone and pushed past her. She still stood there as I made my way downstairs, ignoring breakfast, and walking out the door. I had grabbed the keys and made my way towards the car. Before leaving I texted Max that Fang would have to give them a ride to school and drove off.

Tears clouded my vision as I drove, completely unaware of my surroundings. I heard a car honk before something hard rammed into the passenger side, sending the car flying. I watched as the world spun and the glass broke. I finally landed, upside down. Trying to keep calm, I realized I was in a car accident, and went to unbuckled my seat belt. Climbing through a broken window and trying to avoid glass is harder than it looks. But I did it. I could see bits of my phone on the ground and sighed. Of course the first thing I do after a car crash is worry about my phone. People were rushing towards the two different vehicles. Lots of them looked worried and asked if I was okay. I kept responding with yes but they kept asking, making me irritated.

"You feel alright, Miss?" An officer asked. I nodded, following him to the ambulance that had arrived. They searched me for any injuries or inside damage but only found a few cuts and bruises from the glass and impact.

"May I borrow a phone?" I asked. One of the officers nodded, pulling out his own phone. I thanked him, dialing Max's number. She picked up on the third ring.

"Nudge! What the hell was just driving off like that, huh? Why'd you-"

"Max, Max... Max, Max, Max, Max... Max." I repeated, waiting for her to calm down.

"What!?" She finally screamed.

"I was in a car accident." I stated bluntly.

"Oh my god, are you okay? We'll be right there. Where are you?" She asked frantically before mumbling 'She got in a wreck' to a few voices around her.

"I'm on the road heading to Fang's place."

"Got it. Be there in three." True to her word, they all arrived and when I say all, I mean Max, Fang, Angel, Gazzy, Iggy, and Ella.

"Kids, you can't go past this point."

"That's my sister!" Max screamed. The officer sighed, letting them past. I winced when Max and Angel enveloped me in a hug. Ella stayed off to the side, tears running down her face.

"Why are you crying? I'm the one who got in the wreck." I stated. She chuckled slightly.

"I'm sorry, Nudge. I am. I'm so so so sorry." I sighed, not saying anything.

"How you feeling, motor mouth." I glared at the nickname but replied anyway.

"I'm fine, Fang, thanks."

"I'm just glad you're not dead." Gazzy muttered. I scoffed, shaking my head.

"Geez, thanks." He smiled.

"No problem." I looked past him to see Iggy staring at me with a sad expression. Jumping from the ambulance, I brushed past them and went straight to him. His hand raised as if he was about to touch my cheek but then it dropped back down, remembering we had broken up.

"You alright?" He whispered. I didn't look at him, instead stared at my hands.

"No. I'm not."

"Are you hurt?"

"I'm not talking about the wreck, you idiot." I sighed, looking up. His face turned broken as he realized what I meant. "I need you. I didn't know how much until we broke up. I've been craving you, wanting you, for the past two days. It's only two days but it feels like two life times. I love you, you're my life, I can't live without you."

"Oh Nudge, you're my future, my everything. I'm out of control without you. You tame me." I smiled at that, shaking my head at his stupidity.

"Igiot, I love you."

"I love you too." He whispered, wrapping his arms around me and kissing me. It was slow and filled with the pain, hurt, and loss we each felt away from each other. I love this man, can't live without him and the thought of him feeling the same makes me shiver with delight. Pulling away, I smiled up at him again.

"Couldn't stay away, could you?" I teased.

"Nope. You mean too damn much to me." With that, he kissed me again.
