Sorry for the long wait, here are the next two parts. Enjoy

Harry didn't know how long he was standing outside Professor Snape's Office as he tried to calm down his nerves, let out a shaky breath him quietly but loud enough to hear knocked on the door to his Head of House's Office.

"Enter" barked the teacher's voice.

Harry shakily opened the door and poked his head through see if he wasn't intruding on anything, but when he saw just his teacher he quickly stepped inside and quickly closed the door behind him.

"Was there something you wanted Mr Potter?" Snape asked with a slight hate and bored tone.

"I was hoping to talk to you privately sir?" Harry shifted his eyes around the room hoping that his teacher would get the idea.

Snape narrowed his eyes suspiciously but then assumed that Harry might want a council session so cast a few spells and charms around the room before replying "nobody will be able to hear anything"

Harry didn't reply but handed out the parchments to the teacher "you see sir, I have been working on a theory and I was hoping for you to look at it"

Snape raised an eyebrow, this was not something he had expected, and in all his life Snape had never seen a student who was interested in potions or his house come to him with a theory for a new potion. Looking down his eyes widened as he saw the Title 'Theories on eliminating the Cruciatus Curse' "Potter what is the meaning of this?" the dungeons felt warmer compared to Snape's icy voice.

Harry flinched "I'm sorry sir but I overheard some students talking about the unforgivable's and I decided to do some research on them…"

"Potter, please don't tell me that you are going into the Forbidden Dark Arts" this was the first time that Snape ever pleaded to anyone, but this time there was a reason.

"First Draco now you" Harry muttered but said out loud "I overheard some students talking about the cruciatus curse and how it can't be cured, since I assume that the books can only be found in the restricted section I just came up with a few ingredients and a base theory on what would work on the body depending on how severer it was" Harry hoped he wasn't speaking in riddles otherwise Snape wouldn't be happy and turn him down.

However the teacher just raised an eyebrow and began to carefully look over the two parchments Harry gave him. He had to stop himself from going wide eye because some of the theories were so good that even he never thought to do it and a few ingredients he never knew existed, and he was a potions master, the youngest one in Britain, it wasn't until a few minutes later that everything began to fall down on him, Harry was still 11 years old and this research could only work when he turned 17 otherwise if they tried the actual brewing Harry could get hurt or worse die, and he could be sent to Azkaban for it.

"I am interested in your theory Harry and I am very intrigued on helping you with this" Harry's eyes were so bright Snape was almost blinded "but" the light died in Harry's eyes "there is the problem with you being 11 years old, I apologize if this sounds insulting Harry but if we were to continue this theory and get to the brewing bit there may be a chance that you could die, and I would be sent to Azkaban for this" he paused for a moment to let the info sink in "however if you are willing to wait until you are 17 then I see no reason in continuing this"

Harry could not stop the smile appearing on his face, and he had to try very hard not run round the desk and suffocate Snape with a hug, then he thought of something "what if I were to be emancipated?" he asked in a hypothetically tone.

Snape once again raised an eyebrow "if you can balance your school work with these then I see no reason, however if you can't then we will immediately cancel them and wait till the holidays or till your 17"

Harry managed to tone down his smile but couldn't stop it altogether "I understand sir"

"Is there anything else you wish to speak to me about?"

"No sir" he stood up from his chair "I thank you sir for your time, you can keep the parchments if you want but only if you promise not to use it for your own gain" Harry warned Snape with a slightly serious tone.

Snape was not affected by the seriousness or warning from Harry as he understood why, but Snape was a man of his word and wasn't the kind of man to back stab someone else "I swear on my magic Harry that I will not use this for my own personal gain" there was a crackle of magic in the air before it died down.

Harry was awed by the magic that Snape had but he wasn't sure on what he meant by swearing on his magic, he thought to ask Draco when he left "again, thank you sir" he turned round and left the classroom just as Snape removed the silencing charms around his Office.

As Harry closed the door behind him he noticed another person walking towards him until it was too late and both students fell on the floor both bruising their bums in the process.

"Not again" Harry mumbled as he picked himself up again as well as the book that fell, when he looked at it he realised that it was a book he would have used for Herbology, looking up he noticed that it was that boy in Hufflepuff, Neville something "hello again Neville" Harry said as he helped the boy up to his feet, again.

"H-hello Harry" the boy mumbled as he tried but failing to stay on his feet.

"What are you doing in the dungeon? As far as I know people aren't very fond of coming down here because there's a vampire lurking around" he didn't mean to say it rudely but he hated it when people insulted his head of house.

The boy however didn't react "I have nothing against Professor Snape, it's just the way he looms over people and then I freak out, I'm not very brave like the Gryffindor's are" he looked away from Harry in case he said something nasty.

However Harry didn't say anything for a moment "Hufflepuff are supposed to be loyal and friendly to others, no offense Neville but if you are not friendly to Professor Snape then you shouldn't be friendly and loyal to the other Teachers, including the Dumbledore"

Neville felt a little guilty, he knew Harry had managed to stand up to Dumbledore but for how long? Nobody got in the way of him as they saw him as a role model and expected him to save them all "I don't suppose you're willing to help me a bit with Herbology? That was the reason I came down here in the first place"

Harry raised an eyebrow in surprise, he actually expected Neville to come to him later on in the year, not on the same day anyway.

"Do you want to head on to the library?" he asked after a few minutes.

"Sure, that is if you are not too busy"

"Now that I think of it Draco needs to do his work as well, do you mind if he joined?"

Neville looked up in surprise "no offense but does he need help on Muggle studies?"

"You know us Slytherin's Neville; if you help him study then he will have to repay you so I suggest you choose wisely on what you want in return"

"Don't worry about that Harry; I already know what I need help with?"

They quickly made their way to the Slytherin Dormitories and Harry told Neville to wait till he brought Draco since there was a chance that someone else might be in there, while Neville was uncomfortable being in Slytherin territory he agreed to wait.

"Draco, there you are, do you mind coming to the library with me and Neville and he said that he has agreed to help you with Muggle studies"

"I'm obviously guessing that he knows what he wants in return for helping me?" he guessed.

Harry nodded "he knows what he wants but he hasn't said anything to me yet, but my guess is that he wants you to help him with Potions"

"If it is then I might as well teach you a bit as well, in exchange though is if you have a bit of inheritance then I expect a piece of candy from you"

"Deal" Harry shook Draco's hand and both headed to the common room door.

They both exited the room to find some 5th year Slytherin students picking on Neville.

"Hey he's with us" Harry cried out "and why don't you pick on someone your own size?"

That retort sent them running with Neville trying to calm down his breathing without getting a panic attack.

Harry carefully rubbed Neville's back and made soothing noises to help the boy's breathing get back under control before removing his hand and replying "are you okay now Neville?"

Once Neville got his breathing under control he replied "I am now, no offense but could we please leave now, the dungeons aren't helping my breathing much"

Knowing that it wasn't the boy's fault they hurried on up to the library where Draco agreed to teach Neville Potion's in return for Neville teaching him Muggle studies.

"Neville how on earth do you know Muggle stuff, you're a pure blood" Harry had been informed of the blood status.

"My mum was friends with a Muggle who had a Muggle born, I used to go there when I was a kid until…" he spaced out.

Harry noticed he was having a flashback and stopped Draco from touching him "it might be bad if you interrupt him from a flashback, wait till he's come out of it"

It took a few minutes before Neville snapped out of it "sorry what was I saying?"

"Nothing" Harry said before Draco could say anything "anyway let's help you with your Herbology and Potions homework"

They were in the library all day before they turned in for the night.
