It was now the next morning. Cameron was fast asleep on a mattress on the floor as he gave his bed to Zavanna and he slept on the ground. He felt some weight on his back as he got up and he slowly opened his eyes and saw a colour of amber gazing through his windows and he took off the covers and he saw hands clasped around his waist and he looked back and he saw Zavanna holding on to him with her fingers locked around him, Cameron screamed and this woke up the Fabregan girl clinging onto him.
"What is wrong Cameron!?" Zavanna asked with concern.
Cameron pointed to her. "Y-you were holding on to me! Weren't you sleeping on my bed!?"
"I was but I was suddenly awoken by a loud beeping noise… and it scared me. I held onto you for comfort…" she said as she blushed and pushed her index fingers together.
"It's alright… but next time can you ask before you do something like that?"
"I am eternally sorry, please don't cast me away from your home!" she said as she continuously bowed.
"Uh… don't worry about it…"
"Hahaha!" Blazeon laughed as he opened his ball form. "She got startled from your alarm clock!" he chuckled. "Some brave warrior?"
"Knock it off, Blazeon. But are you okay now Zav?" She nodded. "Oh no! I have to meet with the rest of the team at the Baku Stadium!" and he ran to the bathroom while grabbing a towel.
Zavanna who was currently wearing Cameron's jacket and some brown shorts looked at Blazeon. "Uh, Blazeon… I know you don't trust me, but why is Cameron willing to trust me? I am part of a race that has caused a lot of trouble for this planet and it's Bakugan."
"Don't ask me. I'm just the muscle, but I wouldn't say that you have the best chance with him in a romantic sense."
"Ro-man-tic? What is it that you are talking about?"
"Never mind… but man you must really be a scaredy cat if you think this guy will protect you. I mean he's a great guy, but he is too nice."
"What is wrong with being nice?"
"He is too soft. If he is soft outside of battle, then people will take advantage of him. I still have no idea why he trusts you, if it were up to me we would have put a sack over your head and tied you to a chair and spilled bucket of ice water all over your head until you spilled everything about the Fabregans."
Zavanna began to back to the end of Cameron's room. "You are scaring me…" she fearfully said.
"Hahaha. But don't worry against my better judgment. I'll trust by partner on this one. Anyway I hope we can battle today. I've been itching for a battle since we beat you yesterday!"
Zavanna sweatdropped. "But you only did battle yesterday…" she said.
"What can I say…? I like to battle."
"Blazeon, that ability you used yesterday, Fire Spirit? It was a Reversion Ability wasn't it?"
A question mark appeared over the Bakugan's head. "Who with the Revision now?"
Zavanna giggled. "It's nothing, I'll explain it to you and Cameron at a later time, but I need his answer."
"His answer? On what?"
"Whether he will assist me in restoring the dimension that I come from?"
"Well I know I want to help!" he exclaimed.
The Fabregan's eyes widened. "Really, you would help me?"
"Of course, there is only one Bakugan with Code Eve's power and that is Pyrus Drago. If I can beat him in a fight it will be the ultimate rush! Woo!" he excitedly said.
"Oh I see, you just want to fight Drago… I like your spirit. And I like Cameron's because he is nice."
"Yeah right, just remember to act like a human, I can be sure that no one will be able to tell the difference unless they gaze into your eyes." Cameron busted through his room door and he face was wet as he just washed his face and he began throwing his clothes out on his floor as he looked for his usual attire. He put on his navy blue jeans and had a short sleeve ash grey shirt and he looked around and he looked behind his chair and he looked into the cupboard.
"Cameron? What is it that you are missing?"
"M-my jacket. I can't seem to find it!" he exclaimed and she was scratching his head in frustration.
"Oh, you are stupid." Blazeon mocked.
Zavanna had put on her regular clothes from the day before when she battled Cameron and she held his jacket towards him. "Y-you let me use it yesterday. I am very grateful even though I didn't really require it."
"Oh, thanks Z. I forgot you were wearing it, hahaha. C'mon we have to go."
"Wait, Cameron… I need your answer..."
"Well… I don't know how we can get to Fabrega or how we can hold Code Eve's power… but I really think that after what you told me, and with the other Fabregan's attacking Earth. If all we have to do is beat Drago to get Code Eve's power, but how can we get to Fabrega?"
"It is okay, I have created a way for us to travel to Fabrega. But once we are there we must have Code Eve's energy by then."
"Yeah, then lets challenge Dan and Drago right now!" Blazeon yelled.
"Hold it, Blazeon! We can't just go up to Dan and say, 'hey I challenge you!' Besides, Shun did say I had no chance at beating him." Cameron said looking down. He felt Zavanna's hand on his shoulder.
"Cameron, you are not destined to lose to Dan Kuso. I know you have to capability to do great things."
"Forget what Shun said, I know that he said you have no chance, but I know that you are capable of beating him. You are my partner; we'll beat Dan and Drago together!"
"Yeah! I'AM A COMPRESSED FIRESTORM!"
"What?" Blazeon asked
"Great to see you in good spirits, Cameron." Zavanna said while clapping her hands together.
Cera was inside her mansion and she was sipping tea from a special porcelain tea cup. "Cera are you ready for today?"
Cera put her cup down. "Yes I am, and after today, I won't have to deal with those people again."
"I am also looking forward to that outcome, that Ventus Bakugan really annoys me." Lunaris said.
Cera's maid Samantha walked up to the pain. "Is everything alright Miss Cera?"
"Yes, I will be heading out soon."
"Miss Cera, are you going to still be with your new friends?"
"They are not my friends, Samantha. They are just battlers that I have to put up with, after today. It will be like they never existed to me."
"Miss, don't you want to try to be friends with them, being alone at your age, isn't healthy."
"I am never alone, I have you to come to, and I of course have Lunaris. I don't plan to rely on the companionship of the masses. They are all the same. I always battle alone, nothing has changed that fact."
Samantha sighed. "If solitude is what you truly desire then, I shall not try to make you stray from it." She walked away into the next room.
"We should leave now if we want to get there on time." Lunaris said.
"Yes, you're probably right." Cera walked out of the house and she was now walking to the Bakugan stadium.
Cera got to her team's meeting room and she saw that everyone had arrived save for Cameron. "So the Pyrus user isn't here yet?" Cera assumed.
"Hey has a name y'know." Aisha said.
"Irrelevant. Considering I shall leave this team after today. Names are pointless."
"Wait, then what's my name."
"How should I know…?"
Aisha soon was in the corner looking down with a dark blue aura floating off her. "Sad…" she muttered.
"Uh… I think you broke her." Jayden said.
"Don't worry about us, we can easily find a replacement Darkus battler." Akira said.
"We will?" Jayden asked but he got a glare from Akira. "Uh, I mean… sure we will."
They all heard footsteps and they saw Cameron in the doorway. "Hi guys! Hope I'm not late."
"You are, you're late all the time." Jayden pointed out.
"Oh well, sorry about that. Anyway I'd like to introduce you all to my new friend!" he exclaimed and nothing happened. "I said, I'd like to introduce you to my new friend." He said and a girl who was slightly shorter than Cameron, who had light red eyes with blue irises, she had long black hair that was tied in a ponytail. She was wearing a white shortsleeved shirt with the number zero on it in red and she had grey track pants with brown shoes. She wore a blue beret on her head. "This is my new friend, Zavanna." He said as he introduced her.
"H-h-hello, friends of Cameron… It is an honor to meet all you!" she quickly said timidly as she bowed.
"Wow, Cameron is she your girlfriend?" Jayden asked with a smirk. "She looks so cute." And Zavanna's entire face was red and steam puffed from her ears and she looked away.
"Tch! As if." Akira said folding her arms.
"Jealous…" Aisha sang.
"Oh just… never mind."
"I highly doubt that she would be in a relationship with this guy." Cera said. "She looks way out of your league." Cameron was next to sulk in the corner and a blue aura was floating off him. "And where did you get your clothes anyway? Are they a gift from someone on the street who lives in a dumpster?"
"Dump-ster…" Zavanna said to herself. "What would that be?" she asked.
Jayden chuckles but Aisha then jabs his ribs to make him stop. "Well it's nice to see you again Zavanna!" Aisha exclaimed. "My name is Aisha, the girl over there is Akira, the girl over there is Cera, and they guy over there is Jayden."
"T-th-thank… ACHOO!" Zavanna sneezed and there was a pink dust over her head and a 'poing' sound was heard after she sneezed and she now had red tips in her hair and she had gills and elf like ears. Jayden pointed to her. "I've seen your kind before! You're one of them!" he yelled.
"I-I-I must go!" she said but Cameron grabbed her wrist before she could take off.
"Don't worry, you're not one of the bad guys anymore okay."
"But, I am not human, doesn't that scare any of you?"
"Not in the least." Cameron said.
Cera then spoke up "In her defense we have had Vestals, Neathians and Gundalians land on our planet. So… you are that species Akira and Cameron were talking about. Fabregan was it? You certainly don't seem to look down on others. But I really don't care about that, what you people do with the alien girl is your problem. But let me clear up one thing. I am not his friend." She said pointing at Cameron.
"C'mon Cera… you don't really mean that?" Cameron asked. She simply walked out of the room to head to her battle.
"Weird how all our hopes rest on her shoulders huh?" Aisha asked.
"You don't have to worry. I know her type and as much as she is a brat. She won't throw a battle just because she doesn't like us." Akira noted
"Yeah, but onto more pressing matters, like the alien girl here. I say we take her to Marucho. Let him figure out what we should do with her." Jayden suggested.
"I agree…" Akira said raising her hand.
"No! I don't want Marucho to treat her like some kind of science experiment!"
Jayden sighs. "Marucho is not going to do stuff like that, but he is the smartest person we know so it will be best if we take her to him, just to see what he says about the whole situation."
"I'm still scared; he won't hurt me will he?" Zavanna asked in her timid voice.
"I'll make sure that he doesn't, I promise." Cameron said holding both her hands and Akira simply rolled her eyes.
Zavanna felt slightly relieved and she smiled.
Cera was standing on the battlefield looking at her opponent and she saw he was dressed in a simple light blue shirt and he had black pants with light brown shoes. He had a black and white accented gauntlet. 'From previous history, I have to be careful around this guy. His name was Sion if I remember. He was one of those being controlled by Mag Mel in Bakugan Interspace, and some of his influence in power may still remain.' Cera thought.
"Alright Battle fans, this battle is to keep Cera's team in the Tower of Power, if she wins then her team will go through to the contest, if it goes the other way. The Tri-Twisters will take their place." He exclaimed.
"Prepare to fall, you don't stand a chance against my Bakugan!"
Cera yawned. "Can we just get this over with?" she asked and Sion looked insulted as he equipped his gauntlet.
"Cera, should we make this a quick one?" Lunaris asked.
"Yes, I really am in no mood to let this guy try to cheat his way into beating me."
"Hey, quit talking to yourself and let's get to battling! Gate Card set!" he yelled and he threw a Haos gate card that glowed yellow and spread a yellow rectangular shockwave across the field. "Bakugan Brawl! Cyclone Percival Stand!" Haos Cyclone Percival rose and it let out an ear piercing scream.
"So it is true, there are still chaos Bakugan still running around. I must make sure to eliminate this abomination. Lunaris, change of plans we must neutralize it!"
"I understand."
"Just remember, it's not a Bakugan, just a pale imitation of a real Bakugan. A Chaos Bakugan."
"Yes! Lets do it!"
"Bakugan Brawl!" she yelled and she threw in Lunaris. "Lunaris Stand!" and she stood and she flew up and fluttered back to the ground and she glared at the Bakugan ahead of her.
Cyclone Percival: 650 Lunaris: 750
"Ability Activate! Ease Fly!" Cyclone Persival made a yellow orb of growing energy appear in front of his mouth and he shot it towards Lunaris.
Cyclone Percival: 850 Lunaris: 750
However, Lunaris easily flew from it. "You have to do much better than that you pitiful human!"
"What did you call me!?"
"Enough useless banter. Ability Activate! Darkening Arrow!" Lunaris made a purple energy bow appeared and a purple arrow made of the same energy appeared and she then shot this energy at Cyclone Percival and it hit and he flew back after the hit. His power level fell to 600 G's.
"You think you're so great, just you wait! Ability Activate! Back Blunis!" he yelled as he put the card in his gauntlet.
Cyclone Percival: 900 Lunaris: 750
He shot numerous electric bolts at Lunaris and she was hit by one of them as she tried to avoid them. "You are really a thorn in my side!" Lunaris said.
"Then why don't we let fate decide for this abomination, Ability Activate! Fortune's Eye!" the eyes on Lunaris' wings opened up and the lightened up and they glowed red and red rings of energy at Cyclone Percival and he was hit by the energy and he fell to his knees after the hit. This brought Lunaris' power level to 950 G's
"So what, it's just fifty G's nothing to worry about, and this will seal my win! Gate Card open! Haos Reactor!" he exclaimed and the field was now in a brighter colour and Cyclone Percival was now energized and he was now glowing a yellow aura.
Cyclone Percival: 1'200 Lunaris: 950
"And this final ability will end this battle! Ability Activate! Chaos Gunner!" his maw and the other two that were on the end of serpentine bodies stretching from his back had yellow energy balls charging in their mouths. "Now your Bakugan will be mine!" he yelled and the yellow beams shot towards Lunaris as they combined.
Cyclone Percival: 1'600 Lunaris: 950
"You sure about that? Ability Activate! Meteor Scales!" she yelled and scales suddenly broke off her wings and instead of raining down on the opponent, they came together to form a purple glowing barrier to protect Lunaris from the attack and Chaos Gunner didn't affect Lunaris at all. "Take a look at your power level."
"What the!?"
Cyclone Percival: 1'000 Lunaris: 950
"So what? We're back to where we started?"
"You are a fool if you think you are my equal!" she threw a Bakugan trap high into the air. "Come Bakugan trap. Arachne!" and the spider with eight legs appeared on the battlefield.
"A Bakugan Trap? I didn't know you still used those weak things, grandma."
Cyclone Percival: 1'000 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'250
"Will you just shut up! Ability Card Activate! Kurai Web!" Arachne jumped up and turned around and he she shot a web at Cyclone Percival and the web covered his entire body and he was enclosed in the web and wasn't able to move.
Cyclone Percival: 900 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'850
"What but that is more than five hundred points!"
"This is just a taste of what you are about to receive!"
"As if, Ability Activate Room Bole!" the card didn't let out a light yellow glow. "Hey! What's going on here?"
"As long as your Bakugan is trapped by Kurai Web, you won't be able to activate any Abilities."
"What! Oh that is so unfair."
"Just shut up and take your defeat!" she began typing on her gauntlet and her battle gear began building. 'Ready: Moon Pistols' she grabbed them as they completed building. "Battle Gear Boost!" she threw the battle gear and the seprate builds landed at the sides of her ball form and suddenly holsters appeared on the sides of Lunaris and she took out the Moon Pistols and prepared to fire them at Cyclone Percival at the same time, her power level was brought up to 1'950 G's. "Battle Gear Ability Activate! Blue Moon Pistols: Double Moon Fire Shot!"
Cyclone Percival: 600 Lunaris/Arachne: 2'250
Lunaris flew up and was flying fast at tremendous speeds and she was firing her pistols and they looked like the darkness beams were coming from all directions and Cyclone Percival. "A Power level of over two thousand!? What kind of monster are you!?"
"This monster is going to give your Chaos Bakugan the judgment that it deserves!" Lunaris put her pistols back in their holsters and she flew up and was above Cyclone Percival.
"And now, the ending. Ability Activate! Meteor Scales!" she yelled and Lunaris shot scales from her wings that rained down on Cyclone Percival and this made an explosion and after the dust cleared Cyclone Percival was glowing yellow and he began to disappear into particles as he power level had reached 0 G's. Soon he was gone.
"Cyclone Pericval!" Sion yelled. "Why did you do that!?"
"It was a Chaos Bakugan that needed to be done away with." Cera replied.
"Nothing personal, we were just cleaning up the trash!" Lunaris said before she and Arachne glowed purple and shrunk to their ball forms and shot back to Cera.
"I-I'm not sure what just happened, but it is clear that Cera wins and her team goes through to the Tower of Power!" the crowd began cheering, and in the crowd, Alice had a concerned look on her face as she was watching the entire battle.
"Alice? Is something wrong?" Hydranoid asked as he was on her knee.
"I need to find that girl, the way she battled today…"
"I understand, then we shall find her together." Hydranoid closed his ball form and she grabbed him and she got up from her seat and ran to find Cera.
The rest of the team took Zavanna to Marucho and he had stars in his eyes as soon as he saw her. "I never thought I would see a Fabregan this close."
"Might I ask why you are getting so excited?" Jayden asked.
"Because this may be the one and only chance I get to analyze a Fabregan so closely. Since the rest of their species is hostile towards us, Zavanna here can help us get more information on them, and this will go a long way to helping us defend the Earth from them."
"I-I don't know if I will be much help, but I will try my best to tell you everything you know." She timidly said.
"That's the spirit!" Cameron exclaimed.
"So are you going to do experiments to me?"
"What? Not at all." Marucho said as he chuckled. "Where did you get that idea?"
"Cameron's Bakugan told me."
Cameron began glaring at Blazeon. "What? I can't have a little fun these days?" he asked.
"All I'm going to be doing is scanning you Bakugan's genetic code and as I said I'll be asking questions about Fabregans in general and so I can learn some information on how to stop them."
"O-okay, I can do that then."
The rest of the team were directed into his room while Marucho would ask Zavanna several questions that she could reply to.
A splash was heard and Cera was swimming laps in her huge back yard swimming pool, she had her hair tied in long pigtails and she was wearing a one piece swimsuit and as she was doing the backstroke, Lunaris was looking up at the sun. "Lunaris?" Cera's Bakugan turned to her and she saw her holding onto the wall from inside the pool.
"What is it Cera?" Lunaris politely asked
"It's just… now that our deal is done I wonder, have you thought about taking me to see New Vestroia?"
"Of course I have, Cera. However I lack the ability to transport us there by myself. If we had access to a working dimensional portal, then we could be able to transport there."
Cera sighed and she lied on her back in the pool. "That is a shame; I really grow tired of this world. The ugliness that exists within, it is beneath us."
They both heard footsteps. "Miss Cera, it appears you have a guest waiting for you." Samantha said walking to both of them.
"If the guests happen to have the names, Akira Haruna, Aisha Clair, Jayden Hunter and Cameron Fowler please send them away."
"It is none of them. It is actually Alice Gehabich who is awaiting your presence."
"Hmm, well that is interesting… let her into the lobby and let her know that I will meet her."
Later Alice was in the lobby and she was waiting for Cera and she was sitting on one of the couches. "Care for some tea?" she said holding out a tray and with a pitcher and lemons inside it.
"Oh, thank you so much." Alice said and she took a tea cup that was poured for her and she began to sip it. "This is very delicious, I really thank you, miss."
"I am only happy to serve." Samantha said and she walked away.
Cera arrived in the room in her regular clothes and her long raven black hair wasn't tied. "So what brings the famous Masquerade to my humble abode?"
"That was a very long time ago, Cera."
"Well anyway, what brings you here?"
"I came here to talk about your battle earlier."
"If you are here to try and convince me to join up with that team. That's not going to happen."
"I didn't come here about that, it was about how you battled today. You are well aware that when a Bakugan's power level reaches zero G's the possibility exists that the Bakugan could die."
"Yes I am aware of that. I was clearly aware of that very knowledge when I walked into the battle."
"So you purposely eliminated that Bakugan."
"It was an abomination left by that pathetic excuse for a villain, Mag Mel. To think the very emperor of Gundalia would stoop so low. Anyway it was a part of a virus that should be eliminated."
"At the end of the day, it is still a Bakugan. You didn't have to end the battle like that. You battle with such a heartless attitude, what happened to you?"
"Tch! I don't have to answer to you." Cera said while folding her arms.
Alice then grabbed her shoulders. "Please don't close yourself off from everyone, please tell me what is wrong?" Alice asked in a sincere tone. Cera looks away. "What does your Bakugan have to say?"
Immediately when Alice looked at Lunaris she closed her ball form. Alice then sighed. Hydranoid appeared on her shoulder. "If she won't talk. Perhaps a good battle will get her to open up!" Hydranoid said.
Cera looks up at Alice. "Very well, if that is what you want then I shall oblige." She walked to a wall and put her hand on a hand print reader. And a secret compartment that had stairs going down. "Follow me Alice, this will be the stage where we do our battle."
At the same time. Marucho had Zavanna's Scorchiree on his scanners so he could be able to scan his DNA code. "Well Marucho? What did you expect to find."
"As I first thought. This DNA code is from an unknown source. But what is interesting is that Scorchiree's DNA Code, matches that of the Darkus Bakugan that invaded the Bakugan Stadium some time ago."
"The stadium was invaded?" Jayden asked.
"Oh right you weren't there." Cameron said. "She was this girl shaped Darkus Bakugan and she was like. Zap! And Kzzt and she made a shield that absorbed all of our attacks and they went boom!" he yelled as he was making sound effects the entire time."
"I don't know what's more embarrassing. The fact that he made those childish sound effects or the fact that he said 'girl shaped'" Jayden said.
"Hey, wouldn't that mean that both Scorchiree and that Darkus Bakugan are both from Fabrega and were in fact Bakugan created by Draconoid." Cameron said.
"If you think about it, that option makes the most amount of sense. What do you think Zavanna?" Marucho asked
"What Cameron says is true, all Bakugan who exist on the planets of Fabrega and Alerusia were created by the energy that was produced by Draconoid."
"So that means that Fabrega and Alerusia are in a separate dimension all together." Marucho figured out. "But what I want to know is; who is that Bakugan who did come here and said that she had come to free them."
"Yeah, and she was the one who called us sellouts too!" Preyas exclaimed while jumping up and down in his ball form.
"I believe I can tell you about her." Zavanna said as the others listened in. "The name of the Bakugan you describe is Darkus Seravi. She is the second most powerful Bakugan on Fabrega, and she is the Guardian Bakugan of our very Queen, Queen Gaia."
"So what is Queen Gaia doing, sending her Bakugan to Earth?" Aisha asked.
"I am not sure why, but for Seravi to have come to your world would mean that Fabrega has big plans for Earth and all of their Bakugan that inhabit it and New Vestroia."
"But why would they have us believe that life for our Bakugan would be better on Fabrega?" Jayden asked. "We had a run in with some people like them. They were using clones of Bakugan such as Ventus Master Ingram and Subterra Coredem."
"Our people have been monitoring data from other Bakugan across other universes, for the past eight years. They predict that there will be three Bakugan in particular that could be powerful enough to stop them in their quest for universal domination. However I wasn't aware of the targets themselves. But they did mention the champions of the three dimensions."
"Well Drago has to be one of them, but who are the others?" Aisha asked.
Akira stood up. "This is easy. There was a Bakugan that was once more powerful than Drago at a point. So their other target, will be Spectra and Infinity Helios." Akira said. "Then they would probably attack Gundalia and Neathia in order to get to Darkus Linehalt and Haos Aranaut. They will probably head there next if they do manage to capture Drago."
"Wow, how do you know so much Akira?" Aisha asked.
"I talk with Shun a lot of the time, but that doesn't matter right now."
"Hold on a minute?" Marucho began as he looked at Zavanna. "If they are planning this and all Fabregans are on board how come you aren't?"
"I guess Draconoid chose a different route for me."
"So we know what their next move is? What do we do now?" Jayden asked
"Not to worry. I have sent a distress signal to all the other Brawlers to meet here as soon as possible."
"Okay, but why are we here?" Aisha asked.
"You'll get your answer as soon as they arrive. For now we wait."
Alice and Cera had arrived in Cera's underground facility and what Alice saw were computer technicians working on floating touch screens and on high tech computers. "What is going on here?"
"What you are seeing is the creation of the third edition of Bakugan Interspace."
"Bakugan Interspace?"
"That is correct, my uncles have bought the rights to recreate it from Marakura industries. At this time we are still in the Beta phase but we hope to enlist the services of Choji Marakura so that we may be able to properly complete it. But enough idle chatter. Follow me." They both got to a platform. "Teleport us to Battle Arena 4C!" she said.
"Transporting porting to arena 4C." one of the technicians said as he was typing on the keyboard and both Alice and Cera were teleported away from the room and they were now on a battlefield that looked like the floating battlefield from the second edition accept the area was black and blue instead of green.
"This is stadium is one of the completed ones, and we have also managed to make it so that you can reach power levels of four thousand before the system crashes."
"That is amazing."
"But that is not why we are here. Is it?"
Alice put on her white and purple gauntlet. "If this is the only way to get you to listen to me. So be it."
"What are you waiting for then?" she equipped her black and yellow accented gauntlet.
"Gauntlet Power Strike!" they both yelled.
"Gate card set." Alice said and she threw a Darkus gate card and it made a purple rectangular shockwave. "Bakugan Brawl! Hydranoid Stand!" she yelled and he stood in his ball form and he rose up into and he glared at Akira.
"Bakugan Brawl!" Cera threw in Lunaris. "Lunaris Stand!" she flew up into the air after she stood in her ball form.
"I shall defeat you! Hydranoid!"
Hydranoid: 1'000 Lunaris: 750
"A starting power level of one thousand? Hmm, well that doesn't prove that Alice isn't going to go all out. She hasn't had much battle experience in the last two years." Cera thought.
"Ability Activate! Indigo Nightmare!" One of Hydranoid's maws shot a swirling purple ball of energy at Lunaris.
"You I shall not lose to you!" Hydranoid said as he fired the attack.
Hydranoid: 1'500 Lunaris: 750
"You are mistaken, Hydranoid. I'm not losing to you either." Cera said. "Ability Activate! Fortune's eye!" she yelled and the eyes on Lunaris' wings glowed and it then shot red rings at the attack and it blew up.
Hydranoid: 1'500 Lunaris: 1'000
"Ability Activate! Darkwing Arrow!" she yelled and she shot an arrow of purple energy from a purple bow and it hit Hydranoid.
Hydranoid: 1'250 Lunaris: 1'250
"Now the score is tied!" Cera exclaimed.
"Not for long, Ability Activate Death Trident!" three whitish purple balls in his maws and he fired them at Lunaris and she was hit by the attack and he was on her knees and was panting.
Hydranoid: 1'750 Lunaris: 750
"Give up! Lunaris! You are out of your league!" Hydranoid growled
"Don't think I will give up on my partner! Cera, lets go!"
"I'm reading you Lunaris! Okay come Bakugan trap! Arachne!" she yelled and she threw out Arachne and he stood on the battlefield and he opened his eyes and locked onto Hydranoid.
Hydranoid: 1'750 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'050
"Ability Activate! Meteor Scales!" she flew up above Hydranoid and she shot scales that rained down from her wings and they impacted Hydranoid and this decreased his power level to 1'150G's "Now Ability Activate! Kurai Web!"
Hydranoid: 1'050 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'650
Hydranoid was stuck and he couldn't move as Arachne fired the web at him. "Hydranoid, get out of there. Death Trident!" she said as she held up her gauntlet but the ability wouldn't activate. "I remember this ability. But I know one Ability that can work." "Ability Activate! Chaos Leap Sting!" and under Hydranoid's wings came out six metallic like tendrils with heads on the end of them and they were biting the webs and they freed Hydranoid and he glared at Lunaris, the tendrils began blasting beams of purple energy beams at Lunaris and Arachne.
"This isn't good. I don't know how much longer Lunaris and Arachne will last?" Cera thought.
Hydranoid: 1'250 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'050
"Gate Card open! Phantasmorphic!" the card glowed and suddenly both Lunaris and Arachne legs were being turned to stone.
"What have you done!?" Cera yelled.
"Phantasmorphic is a command card that turns the opponents legs to stone and decreases each opponents' power level by one hundred G's.
Hydranoid: 1'250 Lunaris/Arachne: 850
"You are not my equal!" Hydranoid mocked and he shot beams from the tendril heads and he blasted magenta beams at both Lunaris and Arachne and they both glowed purple and they shrunk to their ball forms and they bounced close to Cera's feet as her life gauge dropped to forty percent. Hydranoid shrunk and he returned to Alice.
Cera looked down. "Cera, are you alright?" Lunaris asked
"I lost, and I lost dismally. I underestimated her." Cera said to herself.
"Cera! Please, open up about yourself there has to be a reason why you act so cold to everyone. Please let me in."
"Shut up! I will not have you meddling in my affairs Alice Gehabich!" she took out a gate card. And suddenly she saw a vision of orange fire before she looked back to the battlefield. "What was that I saw?" she shook her head and she looked forward. "Lunaris, we can't afford to lose!"
"I understand."
"No I mean it this time! If we lose that is it."
Lunaris floated in her ball form, not sure of what to say to her partner. Lunaris looked away and towards the battlefield. "I will try my best for you Cera." She said.
Alice looked to the two. "This is bad, a rift is starting to form between the two…" Alice thought.
"Well we mustn't hold back! We must put their partnership to the test." Hydranoid said. "It is no use letting them beat us when they don't fully trust each other."
"I get what you're saying Hydranoid. Okay, we won't hold back at all."
Cera held a gate card in her hand and it was shaking. "My hand, why is it shaking?" she thought. "Calm down, Cera. You still have a battle to finish." "Gate Card Set!" she yelled and she threw down a gate card and it made a purple rectangular shockwave. "Bakugan Brawl! Lunaris Stand!" she said and she looked at Alice.
"I swear by the light of the Full Moon, I will not lose again!" Lunaris said.
"You talk big, but let's see if you can back that up!" Hydranoid closed his ball form and Alice grabbed him.
"Bakugan Brawl! Hydranoid Stand!" she said and he stood and he stood up tall and he looked at Lunaris.
Hydranoid: 1'000 Lunaris: 750
"Ability Activate! Fortunes Eye!" she yelled and the eyes on her wings and the eyes glowed blue and nothing happened. "Great, the moon says that we shall determine our own fate." Cera said.
"Then that is what we will do! I don't need luck to win this battle!" Lunaris yelled.
"Double Ability Activate! Darkening Arrow plus Meteor Scales!" Lunaris fluttered up and a purple energy bow appeared and she shot a purple energy arrow into the air and purple scales from her wings followed and storm clouds appeared and it was raining energy arrows all over the battlefield and Hydranoid was being hit
Hydranoid: 150 Lunaris: 1'000
"Alice, I need a little help!"
"Uh okay! Ability Activate! Death Trident!" he blasted three balls of purplish white balls of electric energy at Lunaris.
Hydranoid: 650 Lunaris: 500
"Sorry, that's not going to happen! Come Bakugan trap! Darkus Arachne!" and she stood in the air and the spider stood on the battlefield while Lunaris was hit by Death Trident.
Hydranoid: 650 Lunaris/Arachne: 800
"I have to make sure to finish you! Ability Activate Kurai Web!" and the web then wrapped around Hydranoid as he was hit by it. "That should hold you long enough."
"I don't think so! Ability Activate! Chaos Leap Sting!" the tendrils with heads came out and they began biting the web apart.
Hydranoid: 850 Lunaris/Arachne: 200
"I'm not falling for the same trick twice! Ability Activate! Darkwing Arrow!" she yelled and she made a dark bow from dark energy and an energy bow formed and she shot two arrows at Hydranoid and he was hit and he slid back.
Hydranoid: 650 Lunaris/Arachne: 450
"Now Ability Activate! Meteor Scales!" and she floated above Hydranoid and she began to drop raining scales on the three headed Bakugan and he power level had now dropped to a mere 50 G's
"Hydranoid! No!" Alice yelled.
"The battle ends right here!" she began typing at her gauntlet and purple glowing battle gear began building. 'Ready: Moon Pistols' she grabbed the floating battle gear from her gauntlet. "Battle Gear Boost!" and the battle gear landed on the sides of Lunaris' ball form and gun holsters appeared on her sides. "Ready Lunaris! Battle Gear Ability Activate! Blue Moon Pistols: Double Moon Fire Shot!" Lunaris and Arachne's power rose to 950 G's. Arachne aimed her dual pistols at the chest of Hydranoid and he was bracing himself. The barrel glowed purple but it faded. "Lunaris? What is wrong?"
"I may be willing to take the life of a Chaos Bakugan, but to do the same to a fellow Bakugan from New Vestroia… is unforgivable. I cannot do it Cera."
"Why-why not!? I-I thought we were partners!?" Cera angrily said
"We are, but I cannot cross that line!"
"Ability Activate!" Alice yelled. "Indigo Nightmare!" Hydranoid blasted a black and purple swirling energy ball at Lunaris and she was hit and she flew back and she dropped her Moon Pistols and they disappeared into purple energy.
Hydranoid: 500 Lunaris/Arachne: 950
"Did you see that Alice?"
"I did Hydranoid, maybe this will be a rift that their friendship will be strengthened after this event."
"Why are you ignoring my commands!?"
"I cannot kill Hydranoid! I don't want to put Alice through the pain that you have gone through!" Cera suddenly saw a vision of orange flames.
Cera was suddenly near a huge house and she saw embers in the distance and she looked around and she recognized the scene. "No this can't be… That's right. I still have time! I can save them!" Cera though to herself and she ran into the smoke filled house and she noticed that she wasn't inhaling the smoke "Why can't I? I am nothing but a ghost?" she thought and she saw Samantha running through the halls and she emerged from the front door and she was holding a little girl who had tears in her eyes. "Please, go back for them… I beg of you." The girl was put down on the floor and she held her hand both began to gaze at the fire.
"Mama! Papa!" the girl holding Samantha's hand cried.
"Sorry Cera, but we have to go now!" Samantha said and she picked up the girl and ran off from the burning building. They ended up in a forest and the girl began sobbing. "Shh, it's okay, don't worry, Cera I'll take care of you. So please stop crying." And she wiped Cera's eyes with a handkerchief.
"Where is Mama? Where is Papa?" she cried. "Why are they not here?"
"I'm sorry but I can't answer that, please come with me."
"Will I see Mama and Papa again?" she asked with tears in her eyes.
"Oh Cera."
Cera was floating above the scene with little choice but to watch it unfold in front of her. She soon saw herself again accept she looked a little younger and had her long black hair in pigtails and was wearing a one piece orange sundress. She was reading a book and she had a very glum look on her face, her eyes showed very little emotion.
"I remember, this was on my eleventh birthday." Cera said.
Younger Cera looked up as she saw Samantha approach her with a smile on her face. "What is it?"
"It is a surprise that I think you will love." She happily said as her hands were covered and she opened them and a Darkus Bakugan opened up.
"It- it's a…"
"It's your very own Bakugan." Samantha said while smiling.
"My name is Darkus Lunaris. It is a pleasure to finally meet you Miss Cera Rise. I must say that you are more beautiful in person." Cera blushed and she held Lunaris close to her.
"I-I love her! Can I please keep her?" Cera asked while smiling.
"I remember…" the ghostly figure of Cera said. "That was the very day that I smiled since my parents' death. The day I met Lunaris. It was one of the happiest days of my life." Cera said to herself and she suddenly saw a flash a white flash.
It was sunset and she was in front of her mansion and she looked and saw that there was a trail of her footprints that left soot and she looked to the windows and saw the house was a blaze and she ran inside and she saw that a wooden pillar was on top of Samantha and Lunaris was trying to lift it off. "Lunaris you should leave, Cera will need you in life." Samantha said.
"Not as much as she will need you!" Lunaris said as her ball form struggled to lift the wooden pillar off Samantha.
"Don't worry I'll help!" Cera yelled but she couldn't lift the pillar as she was still a ghostly figure and the scene whited out in front of her. "This… this isn't happening…"
Cera was looking at Lunaris and tears were streaming down Cera's face. "Why-why was I seeing all of that? I don't want to… be alone…" she said to herself.
"Cera! You will never be alone, not as long as I breathe on this planet!" Lunaris said. "You have Samantha and I. And we will make sure you never feel alone ever again!" she said.
"Lunaris… you are right. Ever since I met you. I could finally talk to someone. I can't believe what I was about to do to Alice and Hydranoid. Lunaris, I'm sorry for about to make you…"
"It is alright, hate can make you do that. I have experienced that before in my times in New Vestroia. But since we are now on the same page, we should work together, as we should."
"Thank you, Lunaris." Suddenly a rainbow like glow was seen from her vest pocket. She pulled it out and it was an Ability Card but it had a different design from her others. "Something is telling me, now isn't the right time to use it, but I know I'll be using it soon, but for now, Lunaris…"
"Yes, it is time, reveal my bright side!"
"What are you talking about?" Alice asked.
"Gate Card Open! Full Moon: Haos!" she exclaimed and the card glowed and Lunaris and Arachne had changed their attributes to Haos.
Hydranoid: 500 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'050
"We have to fight back, Hydranoid!" Alice exclaimed.
"Yes! Do it!"
"Ability Activate! Chaos Leap Sting!" he shot beams from his tendrils and they shot at both Lunaris and Arachne.
Hydranoid: 700 Lunaris/Arachne: 450
"Ability Activate! Healing Gaze!" the eyes on Lunaris' wings glowed and yellow sparkles surrounded Lunaris in her Haos form their combined power levels now rose to 850 G's. "I'm not finished yet! Fusion Ability Activate! Healing Counter!" Lunaris spread out her arms and she and a yellow transparent cocoon surrounded her before it disappeared.
Hydranoid: 700 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'050
Alice held up her gauntlet. "Ability Activate! Midnight Lock!" Hydranoid blasted bluish purple beams from his maw and it sped towards both Lunaris and Arachne.
Hydranoid: 700 Lunaris/Arachne: 500
"Double Ability Activate! Solar Wall!" and a wall of light that was like a curtain appeared in front of both Bakugan and the beams were blocked. "Plus Sunbeam!" Arachne's middle eye opened up and it shot a powerful light beam at Hydranoid after Midnight Lock was blocked and it hit.
Hydranoid 700 Lunaris/Arachne: 1'400
Alice glared at Lunaris and Arachne. "This is really tough. Ability Activate! Extreme Darkus!" Alice yelled and Hydranoid spread out his tendrils and his maws were charging. His maw and the mouthed tendrils all shot magenta beams at Lunaris at Arachne. They hit them both.
"Hang on!" Cera yelled. And Arachne was shot back and she glowed dark purple and she shrunk to her trap form and landed next to Cera's feet and her life gauge dropped to 20%.
Hydranoid: 1'000 Lunaris: 800
"This isn't over yet! Ability Activate! Lightwing Arrow!" she made a yellow energy bow and a yellow arrow appeared.
"This battle is mine! Hydranoid!" Lunaris said and she shot the light arrow through Hydranoid.
Hydranoid: 750 Lunaris: 1'050
Hydranoid glowed dark purple and he bounced back to Alice's feet and her life gauge fell to 40%.
"Wow! You really are good." Alice complimented. "But as a Bakugan Battle Brawler, I can't allow myself not to give you my very best effort."
"I wouldn't want it any other way!"
"Gate Card set!" Alice yelled and a purple card thrown by Alice settled on the battlefield. "Bakugan Brawl! Hydranoid Stand!"
"Bakugan Brawl! Lunaris stand!" Cera yelled and she flew up and she spread her wings and looked towards Hydranoid.
Hydranoid: 1'000 Lunaris: 750
"Ability Activate!" Alice yelled. "Death Trident!" he charged two balls of whitish purple energy. "And Fusion Ability Activate! Final Demolition!" she yelled and Hydranoid shot the energy balls and the combined and they formed one big, energy sphere that was speeding towards Lunaris.
Hydranoid: 1'700 Lunaris: 250
"Time to even the score!" Cera thought "Ability Activate! Solar Wall!"
Hydranoid: 1'700 Lunaris: 850
A curtain wall of light appeared and it blocked the attack but the orb was cracking the barrier. "Now for the finale! Double Ability Activate!" a purple energy bow appeared. "Meteor Scales plus Darkening Arrow!" she yelled and she shot an endless flurry of arrows that combined with her scales and they shot through the light barrier and impacted Hydranoid's combined attack and forced it to explode and there were purple flames in front of Lunaris and she just gave a long look at Hydranoid before floating up
Hydranoid: 850 Lunaris: 1'100
"Now is the time! Gate Card Open. Land Pressure!" Lunaris suddenly fell from the sky and she landed on the gate card as it was glowing. "Its time Hydranoid."
"Yes, let us end this battle!"
"Cera I can't move!" Lunaris yelled.
"Bear with me, I have a plan."
"Ability Activate. Destroy Vanish!" the tendrils ejected from Hydranoid and the wrapped themselves around Lunaris and she was being dragged towards Hydranoid's spinning spikes that were on his stomach and Lunaris tried to prevent herself from being grinded to dust by them but Land Pressure kept her from moving.
"You may think this is the end of the line Alice, but I assure you. This battle is mine to win." She took out the special Ability card and put it in her gauntlet. "Ability Activate!" a rainbow glow was coming from the card's center. "Moon Reversal!" and the eyes in Lunaris' wings glowed pink and suddenly time froze and when it did all colour turned negative and suddenly, colour went back to normal and all events were being reversed up to the point before Alice had opened her Gate card.
"Gate Card… Huh? What just happened. I'm getting Deja-vu." Alice said before she was going to open her Gate Card.
"Yes, this is the result of the Reversion Ability, Moon Reversal. This allows Lunaris to reverse the flow of time and this will allow her to bring the field back to a time when the gate card wasn't played. Which means, it is as if you didn't throw down one at all." Cera said with a smirk. "On top of that it will reverse the flow of time and reverse any recent ability that is used by the opponent, once more this ability brings all Bakugan on the field back to their base levels."
Alice looked at her gauntlet and she saw that Cera was right.
Hydranoid: 1'000 Lunaris: 750
"And now, it is time to vanquish you." She held up her gauntlet. "Ability Activate! Petrifying Gaze!" she yelled and her wings glowed purple and they shot a beam at Hydranoid and he was covered in a blue outline. "Petrifying Gaze is an ability that will prevent Hydranoid from activating any abilities for a limited amount of time and it drops the opponent's power level by 200 G's."
Hydranoid: 800 Lunaris: 750
"Now to finish this, it is time for Lunaris and I to achieve a new goal. Ability Activate! Darkening Arrow!"
"You are finished, Hydranoid!" Lunaris said. And she shot an energy arrow through the Darkus Bakugan and he glowed dark purple and he shrunk to his ball form and Alice's life gauge had hit zero."
"Wow, you really put one over on me back there." Alice said as she walked to her.
"Alice, this battle has taught me, that I am never alone. That I'll always have Lunaris by my side. And even though Samantha can't be with me all the time, she is with me in spirit. It looks like this world isn't all tainted by ugliness, in fact. I may have started to see the beauty in this world." She said.
"Cera,I have given a lot of thought to it during the battle and, I would like you to be my successor."Alice asked. Cera looked extremely surprised.
Cera folded her arms and smirked. "Well, you have shown me, how important people are. That team may be rearing with ugliness, but I can try to change that. But more importantly, these Fabregans will want to destroy all the beauty that exists in this world and in New Vestroia. I want to help as much as I can. Besides…" she had a flash back to when Cameron battled her and drew and he tried to invite her to the team. "…I forgot to thank that boy from before."
Soon Alice got a call on her cellphone. "Huh? It's Marucho?" she said.
Later in Marucho's lab at the Bakugan Stadium, the rest of the Brawlers had arrived and they were waiting on Alice to arrive.
"Where could Alice be?" Runo asked.
"It's not like her to be late." Marucho added.
"Ahh! What did you call us here for Marucho?" Dan asked getting impatient.
Suddenly teleporting into the room was Alice and she was holding her teleportation card and Cera was holding her other hand.
"Hold on! Cera!" Jayden exclaimed with a surprise.
"D-don't be so surprised. I am a strong Darkus Brawler, but I didn't come here because of you." She looked to Cameron. "Cameron Fowler, I have decided to accept your invitation." She said and the team was completely surprised.
Cameron smiled. "Well, welcome to the team Cera!" and he outstretched his hand and she shook it.

Marucho calls a meeting for the Brawlers but it turns out that Shun and Marucho want the rest of us to mentor these kids!? I didn't come here to babysit! I came here to battle! I'll prove that I can still battle as good as the rest of the younger battlers. The others might be preparing to retire, but Drago and I can take down any opponent that we come across. If the Brawlers can win the Tower of Power, then maybe we have a slight chance of coming back to battling for good but we'll have to get past all the other brats. Not a problem for me and Drago. I'm going to prove to everyone that we are still the best!
