I took a deep breath and glanced down. A small silver ring sat on the ring finger of my left hand. It had two hearts. One was slightly bigger than the other was. Each had a small diamond in the middle. There were three diamonds on each side of the hearts. I looked back up. Through my car windshield, I could see the building they were using temporarily as the high school. It was an old office building. There were students walking towards the door where a security guard was standing with a handheld metal detector. There was another security guard that was randomly checking bags.

I got out of my car and headed towards the door. There was a short line to get in but I didn't mind waiting. Everybody in the line though insisted that I go in front of them. When I made it into the building, everybody stared at me as I walked towards the office. When I walked in the secretary pulled me into an awkward hug. She told me that she was paralyzed from the waist down but that if I hadn't stopped James when I did, she would be dead. She directed me to my room and gave me the keys.

I was walking down the hall when a student ran up to me and pulled me into a hug. It was one of my students. She was wearing a sling. She walked with me the rest of the way to the classroom and told me about how glad she was that I was okay and how excited she was now that I was back. When I asked her how her arm was she told me that she was going to go see the doctor after school and hopefully be allowed to stop wearing the sling.

Walking into my room was the biggest shock though. All my students and their parents were in there. They stood up and clapped the second I entered the room. I flushed a bright red. After what seemed like forever, the applause died down and I was swarmed by people. I couldn't even understand what most of them were saying. Shortly after that, the parents started to leave.

The rest of the day was uneventful except for the fact that Edward called in-between all my classes and during my lunch break. When I got back home after work, Edward was sitting on the front porch with the kids waiting for me. We had dinner, watched a movie, and then put the kids to bed. After the kids were in bed me and Edward started talking about the wedding. We decided that a small wedding with just immediate family would be best.

The next few months flew by. It was a blur of school and lesson plans and family. In mid-October, we went to an apple orchard with the kids. We weren't there for long. The kids were too little to do much. Elizabeth did help us pick a few apples though. For Halloween Elizabeth dressed up like a princess and Mason dressed up like a dinosaur. We took them out trick or treating but didn't go far.

Then November came. The wedding was set for November 13th. Between planning that and school me and Edward barely got any alone time together. But I could tell that he was really happy. For a honeymoon, me and him were just going to go up to a lakefront cottage not far from here for a couple days. Esme was going to take the kids.

I know its really short but it is all I have time to do for now.
