Action yay! Sorry it took so long I couldn't figure out what to write about. officially the longest story I've written!
My brother and I are writteing a fandom hunger games, it's called The Most Dangerous Game Not On Earth, if you want to check it out, it's got superwholock Percy Jackson, Kane Chronicles, and Harry Potter,.
"So what are we hunting this time Sammy?" Dean asked as they sailed down the tree lined highway.
"Ghost, I think. Two people have drowned ditches in Albuquerque in the past week,"
"We are not going to Mexico!" Dean protested.
"It's not in Mexico dumb ass, how did you pass the fourth grade?"
Dean ignored his brother, "So? People drown in ditches all the time, are you sure this is our kind of thing?"
"The ditches were dry,"
Dean sighed, "Ok this is our kind of thing, any idea who it could be? Connection between the vics?"
"Men one was twenty-five and the other was forty,"
"Could it be a woman in white?" Dean thought thinking of the case they'd worked all those years ago.
"We'll have to ask around, see if there are any local legends."
Dean was talking to the police, pretending to be a reporter, at the Fronter restaurant by the University, "Do you have any idea how those men drowned and got to those ditches? Is it possible that they were drowned someplace else then brought there?"
The officer shook her head, "I can't explain it but they definitely died where we found 'um," she finished her enchilada, "I've got to get back to work,"
Dean was so lost in thought he didn't notice when the girl sat across from him, "Can I help you?" he asked.
The Hispanic girl shook her head, "It was La Llorona, she haunts the arroyos,"
Before Dean could ask anymore questions his phone started ringing and he glanced down, when he looked up again she was gone so Dean answered, "Sammy?"
"I can't get anything, there is no connection between the vics but I looked into the city records, this isn't the first time something like this has happened. Over the past forty years a lot of men have drowned in the same way,"
"I'll meet you back at the motel ok?" Dean put down the phone and headed out to the Impala. When he got back to the motel he had Sam look up the La Llorona thing while he relaxed on his bed thinking about Cas.
"So get this," Sam said startling the older Winchester, "La Llorona means the weeping woman, it's a Spanish legend about a pretty woman who got married to a rich man, they had two kids but her husband got bored of her and only came home to see his kids, one day he rode by on a big carriage with another woman. His wife gets so angry that she pushes her kids into the river, when she realizes what she's done she kills herself, now she haunts the rivers looking for her kids. Now she's just used to keep kids away from the ditches, she's actually the symbol for this thing called "ditches are deadly," that teaches kids to stay away."
"Sounds like a woman in white, anything like that happen near the ditch?"
"About sixty years ago a woman did kill herself by there but it doesn't say weather or not her kids died there too."
"You got a name?"
Sammy nodded, "Mary Chavez, twenty-five, she's buried by the ditch,"
"Let's go then,"
When the brothers reached the arroyo they parked the Impala and started walking to the grave. Dean would have been more comfortable if they had been in a dark forest, instead they were out in the open really close to this big ass private school that had a huge bit of land in the middle of the city, why there was a body buried there was beyond him, "You know where the body is?"
Sammy pointed to a pale green bush, "Should be around there."
The brothers started digging, it wasn't long before Dean's shovel hit the lid of a crude wooden coffin, he hauled himself out of the grave, knocking the salt into the ditch in the process, "Grab that Sammy," he started pouring the gasoline on the skeleton. Just as he finished he heard someone crying.
Dean turned to see the ghost of a woman dressed in white standing in the ditch behind his brother, "Dónde están mis hijos?!" she cried before she grabbed Sammy, he started choking up water.
Dean looked arond for a gun but they had forgotten the rocksalt filled shotguns in the car, "Hey Ditch Witch!" Dean shouted, she didn't seem to have heard him. The older Winchester fought the eurge to run down and help his brother, who was still drowning and grabbed the lighter from his pocket and tried to light it. It wouldn't light, he started to panic, finaly after on more click the lighter came to life and Dean droped it into the grave. He turned to see La Llarona burst into flames.
Dean ruched to his brothers side, "Sammy!" he cried.
The younger Winchester spent the next five minutes coughing up water before he replied, "What took you so long, jerk?"
"Bitch," luckly school was out so no one saw the fire until they were long gone.
The school is where I go, cause I couldn't think of another place in the city with a dirt ditch, all the places they go are real and if your ever in Albuquerque The Frontier has awesome food.
I'm going to try to put up another short chapter this evening, just some funny Destiel fluff.
