Chapter14
Natsu put one pill inside of his mouth throwing his head to the back in order to get it in his throat. Natsu swallowed the pill and then drank water. He then looked down at the paper in front of him. He grabbed it between his hands scanning it. It wasn't the first time for him or anything. He was just reading what was read before. Natsu put it down on the table sighing as he looked at the house's roof. He put his back on the chair resting his palm on his eyes. He was clueless, so clueless. Now, both Erza and Gray knows about that thing and he won't be relaxed anymore. That's right he came here to just rest from the burden he carried all along and get rid of the pain but, those two won't let him rest. Natsu feels that his way was too long and he needs to rest and his opinion in resting will be when he dies but his friends don't think the same. They think that they have the right to never let him do something like killing himself and giving up to the disease. He wants just to rest, can't he?
Suddenly he stood up when he heard the door's knock. He walked over the door and tried to smell a single smell of the one that stood in front of him but he simply couldn't. Natsu opened the door and was surprised to see the redhead stands directly in front of the door. Even though he was surprised, he didn't wear that expression. Erza cleared her throat as she gulped. She took a step to the front standing in front of the pink haired. Natsu didn't pay attention of what she had just done. He left the door's handle and twisted his body leaving her in her place and went to sit in the same place he sat in. she sighed as she followed him after she had closed the door. She stared at him while he was drinking his usual herbs "Natsu" she finally called after silence.
"Hmm"
"… I'm not going to tell you you have to get the treat" she started as she saw Natsu still not paying attention. "I'm only going to tell you that what should I do to convince you to have the treat?" she said waiting his answer. Natsu was drinking in silence as he kept staring at the space. For Erza he didn't pay attention for what she said, but for him… he was just sinking deep in the thoughts world thinking about what she said. "Your life… isn't only yours" Erza surprised him with that sentence as he stopped himself from drinking while he rested the mug on his lower lip. "You have to now that we all want you to live because we are friends" she looked at his covered eyes "and because we are fairy tail… we have to be one" her words touched his heart and warmed him. He didn't get use to hear these things from his friends. Even in the past, he used to say it not hearing them. Natsu put the mug down wiping his mouth as he looked at the ground. Were those words really to him? Were they?
Silence filled the room with about 2 minutes. The both of them were silent, not even sounding their breath. Erza looked at him as he decided to stand up. She took a step to the front waiting his answer impatiently. Natsu moved his head to her direction giving a weak sad smile. "You can help me by letting me… die in peace" her eyes widened as she froze in her place seeing him passing by her body. She knew that he gave up but not that much, she was about to give up herself. Natsu left Erza alone in her place as he went out from his home. Erza put her hand on her mouth not believing what she just heard from him. She didn't want to believe it or feel it. She wanted to believe that was a nightmare and they will wake up from it. But, nothing was like that. It was the truth. Haru died, Natsu and Lucy got divorced and Natsu has cancer and he has completely given up. Why was this happening? Why? No one knows the answer. Her tears fell down to her cheeks not knowing how much she can endure that. People around her started to get worried about her and she simply can't tell the truth. She is avoiding to met their eyes and talk to them but she don't know how much she can control her tears from falling down. It hurts so much and she can't the pain anymore. Someone please help her!
