Shadows settle on the place, that you left.
Our minds are troubled by the emptiness.
Destroy the middle, it's a waste of time.
From the perfect start to the finish line.
And if you're still breathing, you're the lucky ones.
'Cause most of us are heaving through corrupted lungs.
Setting fire to our insides for fun
Well I've lost it all, I'm just a silhouette,
A lifeless face that you'll soon forget.
And if you're in love, then you are the lucky one,
'Cause most of us are bitter over someone.

Nimueh smirked as she finished the spell, and her former apprentice woke from her bed with a gasp.

"So how does it feel to be servant to the Crown Prince of Camelot?"
Merlin looked at Gwen and in a matter of fact tone he said, "Washing his royal socks will be even more of a privilege."
"You're proud of him, really. Even though you complain about him constantly."
Merlin shook his head passionately, "I am not."
"You are. I can see it in your face."
"Those socks are very clean! Of course I'm proud of them."
Gwen laughed.

"You are incredibly impatient."
Elin crossed her arms and tilted her head up to meet the dragon's eyes, "And you are annoyingly slow."
Syrsen laughed, it boomed across the caverns of the White Mountains, "Perhaps. I will see that it gets done."
"Thank you."

After a seemingly endless tirade of questions from Merlin, Gaius spoke, "Merlin, your faith in my all-seeing knowledge is both touching and wholly misplaced. Maybe if you finished your work you could go to bed and leave me to finish mine."
Merlin nodded and got up to go to his room, "Okay, I'm going." he paused just outside his room, "Gaius?"
The old man looked up wearily.
"Do you think Owain can beat them?"
Gaius softened for a moment, before soberly saying, "We'll find out soon enough."

The librarian looked up at his longtime friend's entrance, "Gaius. Thank God."
"You know why I'm here?"
"The Black Knight."
Gaius stepped forward and lowered his voice, "So it is he?"
"You saw his crest?" asked Geoffrey, who also dropped into a whisper.
"It is the crest of Tristan de Bois."
"And he is the only knight to have carried such a crest?"
"Yes. According to the records."

Arthur stood tense near Owain, "You've never fought in mortal combat before. It's different, not like the training I've been giving you."
Owain nodded, looking far too excited, "Yeah, I know."
"Listen to me. The problem is that we've never seen him fight before. You'll have to get a measure of him quickly."
The other Knight smirked, "But I have the same advantage. He's never seen me fight."
Arthur sighed, "True."
"You've watched me."
"Yes."
"And?"
Arthur clasped Owain on the back, "And I know no one braver. Remember, all it takes to kill a man is one well aimed blow."

Sword in hand Elin brushed one of the many bricks in front of her with magic. It slid out, revealing a hiding place for the sword.
With one last look at the sword she stuck it in it's new home before hiding it.

Time seemed to slow down for a moment when Owain landed the blow.
Merlin felt it.
Owain should have won.
The Knight threw down his gauntlet, "Who will take up my challenge?"
Arthur rose ready to accept, but was held back by Uther.
Pellinor stepped forward, "I, Sir Pellinor, take up the challenge."
The Knight nodded once, "So be it."

"Gaius? Why are we breaking into someone's grave?"
The warlock's mentor leaned forward to look at the tomb, "I think we're too late." he moved aside so Merlin could see, "Someone's already broken out."
Hi! It's been awhile! All my fault obviously, and I am sorry for that. Not much to talk about right now. Except... SYRSEN! She's a dragon, in case you didn't pick that bit up. Since Kili was too young to breathe fire I had to come up with another dragon, thus Syrsen was born.
Wow this is really short.
Byesies! (Never typing that again. Ever)
